The food was delicious and the portions were very large! Unfortunately the food was a bit spicy (which is not uncommon for Mexican food) but it would be nice if this was noted on the menu so you can pay attention to it yourself if you are sensitive :)
Otherwise really great there!
Walked in on a Wednesday night to a fairly quiet somewhat traditionally decorated German restaurant.
It was noticeably cold, 🥶 I considered keeping my winter coat on but opted for a beer jacket and ordered a pils as I sat down. The small pils was pretty good.
Service was ok and I ordered a T-bone with jacket potato and another 500ml white beer.
The food looked good that was the end of the enjoyable experience.
The potato was just warm enough for me not to send it straight back, unfortunately I later found it wasn’t really cooked very well, and the foil it was served in was a pain that should have stayed in the kitchen.
The t-bone 🥩 was one of the biggest but worst I’ve ever had, and I had one just last week! Even the fillet side had connective tissue running through it, the sirloin side had a huge thread through the middle and a bicycle tyre thick edge of fat.
I did mention it to the waitress who sent over the manager/owner ?? who started telling me it was normal for t-bone and half heartedly offered me another one whilst also telling me to check the middle of the sirloin. This particular must have missed the large connective band running through it and I could tell she didn’t want to swap it so I battled on.

I was invited for my birthday.
The food wasn't seasoned but the fries were cold.
We were also able to see that a service worker was setting the table, not holding the cutlery by the handle, but by the other end, which goes into the mouth when eating.
Ich liebe das Stegsieben, tolles Ambiente, tolles Personal und das Essen ist immer in top Qualität wenn ich hier essen gehe. Kann ich jedem empfehlen und komme immer wieder.
Ich war mit der Familie im Dezember 2024 abends spontan dort essen.
(kenne das Restaurant seit Ende der 80er Jahre, damals noch Haus Sasse)
Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und bekamen auch gleich einen Tisch. Das Restaurant war recht gut besucht, dennoch kamen unsere Speisen schnell, frisch und heiß an den Tisch gebracht.
Vorweg kann man sich am Salat Buffet mit einer großen und frischen Auswahl bedienen.
Im Sommer gibt es einen großen Biergarten, in dem man schön gemütlich sitzen kann.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sowie die Freundlichkeit in diesem Restaurant stimmen einfach.
Nach dem wir die Rechnung per EC bezahlt haben und dann 5 Euro Trinkgeld in
bar gegeben haben, war die Bedienung auf einmal ganz komisch und hat sich nicht bedankt. Die Gier ist wohl im Blockhaus normal, da wir dies schon mal erlebt haben.
Man soll wohl 50 € geben. Wir geben jetzt kein Trinkgeld mehr.
Da kann wohl Herr Bloch, bei diesen hohen Preisen seinen Mitarbeitern mehr zahlen.
Delicious food. With a Greek influence, steak and fish are also available. Well-kept wine warehouse.
Not recommended for wheelchair users. Steep stairs, sanitary facilities on the 2nd floor.
We were here for the first time yesterday, and everything was absolutely AMAZING 💯 Whether it was the food, the service, or the location, everything was absolutely GREAT 💯😊
We'll definitely be back and can only recommend this restaurant to everyone 😊
