Service was very friendly and attentive. The food was okay. A bit bland. The atmosphere was boring.

We were there on a Friday, and there was no hot food. Only salads and rolls. There's nothing healthy that could be considered a proper lunch. The place is remote. But traveling far and not eating is a disappointment.

In any case, the food was absolutely delicious, especially the side salad. Friendly service.

Wir waren am 4.4.25 abends zu Gast in der Oberländer Weinstube und haben den Abend total genossen. Ist mit Tawayama die beste Adresse in Karlsruhe. ✅ In der schönen Athmosphäre wurde uns ein tolles Menü perfekt serviert. Es bediente uns Herr Frey (vielen Dank!) sehr umsichtig, professionell, aber auch herzlich. Die Idee, das gastronomische Menü ganz oder nur teilweise nehmen zu können, fanden wir hervorragend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat uns sehr überzeugt. Die Weinkarte ist sehr funktionell. Alle Monate wechselt das Menü? Dann kommen wir 12 mal im Jahr! This restaurant is a hidden gem in Mainz. They have nice classic French dishes, friendly and warm staff ( senior ladies), good wine list with reasonable prices. We had dinner during Easter Sunday. We managed to get a table by calling the phone number, using my basic A1 German language as the lady does not speak English, but she was very accommodating and hospitable.

Ate here before, today for the 2nd time. Atmosphere is excellent, typical old German place. Food is very good, especially flammkuchen, spareribs and snitzel were good. Everything I've had has been good, would recommend this to anyone. I personally have to drive 45 minutes for it, which already shows how good it is.
