A really great location for various celebrations. The festival barn is well-designed and offers plenty of space. The service was really well-organized and always on top of things. The food was really delicious.

We celebrated our wedding at the Summer Barn and were absolutely thrilled! The barn is a beautiful venue, the food was fantastic, and the drinks and service were superb. Many thanks to Petra and the entire team!

Went there for the first time with the kids, and the flammkuchen was fantastic, as were the schnitzels. The food is well-presented—not too much, not too little—perfect. The staff is very friendly and regularly checks on everything. They even made mashed potatoes for our young daughter to try. Highly recommended.

We couldn't order anything because there was a wedding going on there, which I found very strange. A large restaurant with lots of seating, and then it's not possible to serve food. How do they manage that when the place is full from normal business? It's a shame.

Welcome to the countryside! The Schwering Inn in Vreden, Münsterland, near the Dutch border, has been serving you since 1907. Whether in our cozy pub, on our threshing floor, in our beer garden, or in our party barn, this former farm has a lot to offer. The Schwering Inn is currently run by Michael Galbraith and his mother, Petra Galbraith-Schwering. The young chef has come to know and love the classic dishes of the Münsterland region, as well as the appeal of adding new touches. Thus, the menu offers not only home-style dishes but also options for vegetarians and those with a lighter appetite.

Ate here before, today for the 2nd time. Atmosphere is excellent, typical old German place. Food is very good, especially flammkuchen, spareribs and snitzel were good. Everything I've had has been good, would recommend this to anyone. I personally have to drive 45 minutes for it, which already shows how good it is.

Schwering restaurant...Rurally located with a taste for rustic things. Wood meets stone here. When it comes to drinks, no throat will be left dry here and the palate will also be pampered with the standard menus as well as the seasonal cuisine. It's worth visiting here late in the evening but also in the afternoon on a nice Sunday. So what are you waiting for? Pay a visit to the always friendly staff and let yourself be pampered with culinary delights.

I thought for a long time whether I should give 4 or 5 stars. The food a la carte was top The service left nothing to be desired The ambience, if you want to look for something then there, but what can I say. A restaurant with other great rooms, including the small hall, but that's not a bad idea. We felt very comfortable and will come back, highly recommended

Beautiful outdoor area, delicious food (specializing in tarte flambée and schnitzel - the hollandaise sauce on my schnitzel deserves special praise), calm, fast and nice service. I will come back.

Nice place to sit outside when the weather is good. We were there with a large group for coffee followed by a barbecue. The service was good, quick and attentive. The grilled meat was delicious, as were the salads and the herb butter was particularly tasty.

Food came super quickly. Despite 12 people at once. The steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The fried potatoes were really great too. Maybe a touch salty for some people. I can highly recommend it. The onion meat was definitely a highlight. Exactly as it should.

Absolut zu empfehlen! Wir haben in der Scheune gefeiert, die als Location seeehr romantisch ist! Aber nicht nur die Location, sondern auch der Service, die Kommunikation und das Essen waren extrem empfehlenswert! Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort!

Goed eten, de schnitzels zijn heerlijk met gebakken aardappelen en een bord gemengde frisse salade daarbij. Dit allemaal voor zeer goede prijs! Ik zeg …. een aanrader!

Heerlijk, echt Duits, betaalbaar en goed gegeten bij Gaststätte Schwering nabij Vreden net over de grens bij Winterswijk. Uitstekende (gevarieerde) schnitzels (op een veel ruimere menukaart) met een heerlijke salade en zeer vriendelijke bediening in een sfeervolle Gaststätte. Aanrader!

Tolle Location zum Feiern einer Hochzeit.

Ein schöner Biergarten mit schöner Blasmusik. Auch das Bier 🍻 war sehr lecker.👍

Waren zu einer Taufe dort. Unser Baby hatten wir zwecks Hochstuhl angekündigt. Der Hochstuhl war zwar da, allerdings noch mit Essensresten vom vorherigen Gast versaut. Naja, der erste Eindruck zählt... Essen war gut. Bedienung überaus jung und teilweise etwas unkoordiniert. Aber irgendwie haben wir uns dann nicht mehr richtig wohl gefühlt. Schade.

Das Restaurant ist von innen eher rustikal, aber das mag ich. Wir haben draußen an einem schattigen Plätzchen gesessen. Man kann hier lecker essen zu normalen Preisen oder mittags ein Stückchen Kuchen oder Eis. Bei einer Radtour eine empfehlenswerte Einkehrmöglich

Einfach ein schöner Ort um zu verweilen. Ob mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad, Parken können sie alle. Tolles Essen, nette Bedienung, tolle Plätze auf den Terassen und alten Baumbestand. 👍

Wij hebben lekker gegeten in een gezellige sfeer. Het was er druk maar konden zonder reserveren toch een plekje krijgen. De bediening is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Top!

Das Zwiebelfleisch war sehr lecker und ist auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung. Dazu ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Ein Landgasthof in den wir bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder einkehren werden.

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert! Ob auf Hochzeiten, Geburtstage oder so mal dort essen gehen, es ist immer ein Genuss! Selbst in Coronazeiten, als man sich nur Essen bestellen konnte und mit nach Hause nehmen durfte, war alles sehr köstlich zugerichtet. Immer top Qualität und freundliche Mitarbeiter 😏👍👌
