Great restaurant with a lovely beer garden. The food was incredibly good. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food, with good value for money. Riegele isn't necessarily my beer of choice, but the Kellerbier is always good. I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the espresso, which is very rare in German inns. Attentive and friendly service. Drinks came very quickly, but the food took a while, which was understandable given the packed restaurant. We were still able to have a good conversation, as the tables are spaced far enough apart that you don't feel like you're squatting on top of each other. The restrooms are very clean. Overall, the atmosphere is pleasant (country inn), with guests from all generations. It's nice that there are still inns like this in Augsburg.

Truly a bright spot in the city of Augsburg. Located in a quiet spot off the Main Street, it feels like a little oasis to come here and sit in their beer garden - beware of falling chestnuts, though :) The food was very tasty, the selection of beers was also great but the star of the show was the service which really made us feel welcome. Highly recommended!

Worth the 5 stars! Based on the good reviews, we decided to visit the restaurant and try the recommended roast beef with onions. The service is very good, as well as very fast and friendly 😊 We were absolutely thrilled with the taste, the roast beef, the two types of onions, the cheese spaetzle, and the sauce. 👍

I went to the restaurant for dinner without a reservation, or rather, in the garden under the pergola. My takeaway from the visit: Absolutely recommendable! Everything I ate was top-notch! The quality and preparation were of the highest standard! The service was super friendly and professional! The pricing also impressed me! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Five of us went there for dinner on the evening of May 21st. To sum it up: It was perfect. The food was superb, everything freshly prepared and very tasty. The service was attentive and incredibly friendly. The ambiance was absolutely lovely. You should definitely go!

Bavarian inn with a nice dining room, service fast, relaxed and friendly, very good price/performance ratio. Except for the onion roast (28€), all dishes are under 20€ and with good portions, the drinks are also at fair prices. Reservation (possible online) is highly recommended. You have to look really hard to find something comparable. Highly recommended.

For me, this is the best restaurant, and I don't say that lightly. I'm now a regular, even though I travel about 50 kilometers each time. It's simply worth it every time! I'd particularly like to highlight the potato salad and the schnitzel, both of consistently high quality, prepared with love, and delicious. I can also highly recommend the cheese spaetzle: creamy, spicy, and just the right balance. The team is always friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere down-to-earth and inviting. You immediately feel at home. If you appreciate honest, high-quality cuisine, this is the place for you.

Waren zufällig dort, weil ein anderes Restaurant geschlossen hatte. Ohne Reservierung noch einen Tisch bekommen, aber es war voll. Bedienung freundlich, allerdings mussten wir eine ganze Weile warten, bis wir bestellen konnten und bis wir dann die Getränkte bekamen. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Die Speisekarte ist klein, aber gefüllt mit Klassikern oder auch mit etwas ungewöhnlichen Gerichten. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Nice inn. Today I ate a delicious chestnut cream soup and beetroot ravioli with salmon trout fillet and spinach, walnuts and parmesan. Tasted excellent. The taste of the dish was very good. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, the cuisine does not contain any convenience products, nothing is over-seasoned. You can taste the good ingredients. Service is unobtrusive, competent and very friendly. Pleasant inn atmosphere.

As in previous years, nine of us went to Anton's for duck in the run-up to Christmas. As always, the breast meat was so tender that it literally melted in your mouth. At the same time, the skin all around was extremely crispy and deliciously seasoned. The roast was accompanied by airy potato dumplings. harmonious red cabbage and a skillfully prepared sauce - both in terms of taste and fat content. Right at the beginning of the meal, the warm service pointed out to us that there were enough side dishes and sauces in stock in the kitchen. Submissions were always made attentively. The feast was rounded off with a wonderfully fresh and light mousse of white chocolate and curd, accompanied by a raspberry ragout, delicious vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries and one or two liqueurs. We really enjoyed the evening and were well looked after!

The main courses can be improved - good quality, but sometimes a bit bland in taste, so you had to add more seasoning. You can find better Kässpatzen in the Allgäu. The side salad and dessert were very good! Otherwise nice atmosphere and friendly service.

We were visiting Augsburg and were lucky enough to get a table in Antons. Our order: Beef roulade with red cabbage and butter spaetzle as well as ravioli with cream cheese, Hokkaido pumpkin on salmon trout. Delicious is an understatement… We'll be back - on our next visit to Augsburg.

A very nice, modern restaurant just outside of Augsburg and away from mass tourism. The food was very tasty and absolutely sufficient. The menu is clear but just right, quality rather than quantity. Unfortunately we didn't make it to dessert, but it looked delicious at the neighboring table. Overall we had a nice evening. We would love to come back and can really recommend the restaurant

The two of us went there for dinner without a reservation - everything was perfect! We were warmly welcomed, served very attentively and quickly and the food was a dream! Special recommendation is the onion roast - the price is a little higher, but the quality is incredible, the dish is large and worth every euro.

We were there for the third time now and each time the service was quick and warm and all the main courses tasted delicious! The chocolate cake with a liquid center was unfortunately very runny twice and could probably use a minute longer in the oven, but otherwise everything was very successful. The only downer about the beer garden outside is that it has to close at 8 p.m. sharp due to complaints from the neighborhood, which brings an entertaining evening to a rather abrupt end, at least outside. But this was also explained very nicely by the service and we were invited inside so that we could finish our drinks in peace. All in all, I'm happy to come back because you're treated courteously here and you get hearty Bavarian dishes at a great price-performance ratio.

Roast pork can be pulled with a fork, so good. The crust is so crispy, I've never eaten it so well. There was no binding agent in the sauce. The currant spritzer really tasted like currants and there was also sparkling water in it and no stale water. The plum crumble was so heavenly delicious. Absolute recommendation!!

Mega delicious food and rarely received such friendly service! Portions a little small.

Been there twice so far. The beer garden is in an idyllic and quiet location, but the parking situation is correspondingly difficult, so you have to search for 10-15 minutes. That's the first reason why we won't be coming anymore. Currently it is not possible for us to come by bike or public transport. The second reason is the food. It looks nicely prepared, but it's not tasty enough for us. The tortellini were undercooked (mushy) and tasteless (not seasoned). The Kässpatzen were boring and dry and the portion was garnished with vinegary salad. The char wasn't crispy. The salad with halloumi had an unspectacular dressing. Not a single meal came with sophistication! All in all, far too little performance for the hefty price. The man in service is very attentive and present, even towards children. He proactively brought us games. The woman in service is far too slow and also forgetful. All the best anyway! Especially for the professional gentleman in service!

It's been a long time since I have been at Antons. This time I've tried a salad. It was good and very fresh, but the vinaigrette was too sour, and I needed the bread. As dessert I had the crumble which was very good. So ai definitely will come back.

The two ladies who served us were super nice and on top of their game. Even if the outdoor area was full, we were kindly provided with drinks inside and immediately seated outside when a table became available. We wish the trainees a good degree and a lot of fun at work.
