We stopped in spontaneously – 4 adults and 3 dogs. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was delicious and top quality. It was a bit pricey, though. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended! (You should call ahead and reserve a table.)

A beautifully rustic restaurant with attentive and friendly service and fantastic food. While the prices might not be the cheapest, they are perfectly reasonable for what you get. After a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and following a negative experience at another restaurant, we even returned the next day. Highly recommended!

Excellent food and superb, personalized service. We had sauerbraten and steak. We've rarely enjoyed such tender and flavorful meat in recent times. And to finish, we had apple strudel, wonderfully delicious.

A thoroughly successful evening at Entenbäck. Such a friendly welcome, a beautiful table, and a fantastic meal! Our first Swabian specialty, which completely exceeded our expectations. The Maultäschle (small dumplings) were delicious, the Wiener Schnitzel was as tender as butter with a light coating, and the Fleischpflänzle (meat dumplings) were juicy and very flavorful. If you want truly delicious Swabian food in a beautiful setting with incredibly attentive and friendly hosts, this is the place for you. A special thank you to Sarah & her colleagues for such a wonderful evening with you.

We ordered a large salad plate. Besides green salad, the plate included a few carrot sprouts and mushrooms. There was no bread, and all for €12.50. The iced lemon tea had been expired for two months. We waited an hour for our food. I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

I came here spontaneously on my own – super friendly and fast service. I was immediately seated on the terrace when a spot became available. The food was excellent: delicious Maultaschen broth and a perfectly grilled mixed grill with vegetables and potatoes. Highly recommended!

We went to the restaurant for dinner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a nice selection of dishes, albeit on the higher end. We opted for the vegetarian option. Unfortunately, the flavor was very bland, so we had to add salt and pepper. Conclusion: definitely recommended. Next time we'll have a meat dish.

A super cozy restaurant with a great outdoor terrace and comfortable chairs. The service was very friendly. The Wiener Schnitzel (veal) was incredibly tender; I haven't had anything this good in a long time! It came with a large salad. Homestyle cooking is highly recommended!

If you want to know the difference between “It tasted good” and “It was fantastic”, you should stop by Entenbäck (reservation is recommended). Cozy atmosphere, courteous welcome, unobtrusively attentive service and wonderful dishes - everything is just right here. Big praise to the chef and her crew and the team in the restaurant! We sinned badly today, didn't regret it and made another reservation for the day after tomorrow so that we wouldn't leave without being treated to another meal at Entenbäck. If it were possible: 6 stars across the board!

Number 1 at Schwäbisch Hall and it’s deserved! The service is attentive, the products are of excellent quality and the dishes are prepared according to real traditional recipes. I found my grandmother's Célestine soup ("Flädle Suppe"), the Black Angus beef ("Zwiebelrostbraten") is to die for, the rare cooking is mastered to perfection and the handmade Swabian pasta ("handgeschabte Spätzle") literally melts in your mouth. Special mention to the red wine sauce ("Burgundersauce": to die for!) and the "Amarettoparfait" with its apricot coulis and caramel sauce, reminiscent of the very good Salidou with salted butter! In short: We almost licked our plates, we will go back and not just once! Well done to the whole team! Everyone stay at this top level!

The food was super tasty but unfortunately a bit lacking in sauce and meat cakes for the price. 20 euros for two small meatballs is pretty steep. But taste good. Spaetzle would be a little under-salted.

Not family friendly. Were asked to be quieter by the staff in an extremely unprofessional and unfriendly manner. Very clumsy and moody. Played UNO with 2 children. It hasn't been a problem anywhere in the last 10 years, even in much better restaurants. Even if a standard may have been violated here, we accept this, but the manner was terrible.

We were at the Ringhotel Hohenlohe and were looking for a good restaurant for the evening and found it. An absolute recommendation to take a look here! High quality food and very nice staff. Unfortunately, on our first visit we had some dry beef roulades, which we mentioned and were wonderfully received by the service. The next few days the food was wonderful, very tender beef slices and homemade spaetzle! 😍 You also have to try the lasagna with white chocolate!

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The gastronomy is too expensive for the quality offered. The menu calls for prices above the usual Schwäbisch Hall average. Here, as a customer, you also expect above-average quality. Unfortunately, this was not fulfilled in any way. I cannot understand the positive reviews given here. Maybe the chef was on vacation and the waitress was new? Five of us had dinner at Entenbäck. The meals were chosen from the standard and “offer of the week” menu. 2x veal schnitzel with salad (standard menu) - school grade 4-5 1x onion roast with spaetzle (standard menu) - school grade 1 1x tripe with fried potatoes (offer of the week) - grade 3 1x Cordon Bleu with salad (offer of the week) - school grade 4-5 The service was very friendly and attentive, even if the usual rules of serving were not followed (passing food across the table, pushing wine glasses into the guest's hand, serving and covering from the wrong side) Given the high price level, guests also expect a high quality of service. This must probably be neglected in today's time when there is a shortage of service staff. But what completely disappointed us was the quality of the high-priced food. The veal escalopes and cordon bleu seemed to come out of the deep fryer. Unfortunately, these were not only very greasy, but also too dark. The accompanying salad was good average, but doesn't save the menu. The tripe was good, unfortunately the fried potatoes were not. Here too, too much fat and the cooking point was not reached (not cooked through) Only the onion roast was completely convincing.

Heart, what more do you want? Local delicacies perfectly prepared and charmingly served. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by.

Every year when we visit the festival in Schwäbisch Hall we go to Entenbäck one evening. Delicious food, carefully selected, friendly and competent service. Prices are a bit high, but they are absolutely okay.

The food was very good, the dessert was also very good, we were there with friends. The friendly service was also very attentive and asked if everything was OK or if we wanted anything else.

At first glance, the Entenbäck restaurant seems a bit inconspicuous and the ambience comes across as rather staid. But that's deceptive, because the food here is really excellent. And preferably from the region, such as Maultaschen or a strong broth. Really delicious. Casual, friendly and attentive service. That fits. Recommendation.

The restaurant on the second floor was stuffy and I wanted to leave quickly. The service was slow, the food was average, I definitely have no desire to go here again.

qualitativ hochwertiges und äußerst schmackhaftes Essen. Service sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und zügig. Der Rostbraten und das Dry-Aged Steak sind absolut zu empfehlen. Die Soße vom Rostbraten ist die Beste, die ich bisher kenne. Auch der Nachtisch sehr lecker und schön gerichtet. Weiter so!

Wir waren letzten Freitag im Entenbäck und haben es sehr genossen. Das war wieder einmal ein sehr positives Gastro-Erlebnis. Ein sehr aufmerksamer Service, ein schönes Ambiente (haben draußen gesessen)und sehr leckeres Essen und Getränke. Einen Punkt Abzug gebe ich, da es unser Hochzeitstag war und ich das bei der schriftlichen Reservierung angegeben hatte. Es wäre sehr nett gewesen, wenn das im Service berücksichtigt worden wäre.

Mega lecker gegessen. Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Die Kässpatzen sehr lecker und das Geschnetzelte oder der Zwiebelrostbraten mit der Burgundersoße ein Traum. Zartes Fleisch, sehr gut.

Jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal hier zum Essen. Kurz: Super Essen, sehr guter Service und tolles Ambiente. Beim nächsten Besuch in Schwäbisch Hall sehr gerne wieder. Tisch reservieren nicht vergessen!

Insgesamt (wieder einmal) sehr guter Eindruck. Gehobene, bürgerliche Küche zu fairen Preisen. Im traumhaften Ambiente. Man widersteht der Versuchung, das Restaurant stets bis auf den letzten Platz zu füllen, damit der Service nicht darunter leidet.

Letzten Dienstag während unseres Urlaubs in Schwäbisch Hall hatten wir abends im Entenbäck gegessen. Einen Tisch hatten wir 2-3 Wochen vorher reserviert. Wetter war gut und wir hatten unseren Tisch draussen. Sehr nette Umgebung mit Fachwerkhäusern etc. Sehr leckeres Essen (Backofenkartoffeln, Zwiebelrostbraten) und sehr guter Service. Wir können das Restaurant Entnebäck zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Die Hauptgerichte waren lecker, jedoch mein Apfelstrudel war eine Katastrophe. Es waren trockene Klumpen im Teig. Ich habe reklamiert, jedoch wurde er voll berechnet. Der Service war freundlich.

Essen schmeckt wirklich sehr gut, auch "einfache" Gerichte, wie Maultaschen oder Kässpätzle werden ansprechend serviert. Suppen sind auch lecker. Die Portionen sind zum satt werden ausreichend, wenn auch nicht riesig. Einziger Wermutstropfen sind die Preise, das kann sich wirklich nicht jeder leisten. Die Speisekarte ist eigentlich ausreichend, aber doch recht überschaubar. Schade ist in diesem Zusammenhang auch, daß es keine spezielle, evtl etwas günstigere Mittagskarte gibt. Innen sitzt man rustikal gemütlich, auch die Außenbewirtung ist in Ordnung. Bedienung freundlich. Alles in allem empfehlenswert!

Wir waren am 21.04.2023 im Entenbäck essen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und bedient. Die Maultaschen haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt, die dazugehörige Rahmsauce war nicht überladen und stimmig.

Sehr gute regionale Küche. Wir waren zu dritt dort und jedes Gericht war sehr lecker. Der Apfelstrudel zum Dessert war der krönende Abschluss.

Die Bedienung war superfreundlich und aufmerksam, die Atmosphäre war auch sehr schön. Die Musik lief wirklich im "Hintergrund" und allgemein konnte man schön in Ruhe essen. Von dem Essen selbst war ich allerdings enttäuscht. Die Käsespätzle waren sehr salzig und es war eine ganz eigene Art von Käsespätzle - hab ich so bisher noch nie gesehen bzw. gegessen. (Die Spätzle selbst waren super, nur das was oben drauf war...) Bei den Kartoffeln haben wir das Salz abgekratzt, trotzdem waren diese sehr salzig und hatten einen eigenartigen Geschmack. Geschmäcker sind verschieden. Aber ich werde dort nicht nochmal hin gehen.

Wir können dieses Restaurant empfehlen da jegliche Gerichte bei 11 Personen gleichzeitig und merkbar Sossen, Beilagen und Fleisch eigenständig abgestimmt waren. Alle sind sehr zufrieden und durch passende Portionen gesättigt mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht aus dem Restaurant gegangen. Weiterhin viel Erfolg und jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Bedingung und Inhaber waren beide sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich habe die hausgemachten Rindermaultaschen bestellt, das Essen hat keine 20min gebraucht. Man hat die frische Qualität des Hacks und des Salates direkt gemerkt und geschmeckt(, die Salat Soße war perfekt) . Das Lokal is nur weiter zu empfehlen, man kommt voll auf seine Kosten und hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre um zu genießen.
