Gasthof Danne in Arnsberg

My husband and I recently visited the Gasthof Danne again and, as always, were very satisfied! The service and quality are simply excellent – ​​we'll gladly come back! :)

Advance booking is required, as they were already fully booked at opening time at 12 noon until 2 pm.

Heute waren wir mit der Familie zum Mittagessen dort. Trotz vollem Haus, wurden wir herzlich empfangen und hatten einen schönen Tisch. Das Essen war ein Traum, herrlich anzuschauen und doppelt so lecker. Die Salate sind herrlich frisch und ebenfalls sehr lecker. Wir sind sehr froh, einen so guten Gastronomischen Betrieb direkt vor der Haustür zu haben.

The food was really excellent – ​​compliments to the kitchen! Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly and we had the impression that there wasn't much interest in welcoming guests. It's a shame because the service really spoiled our visit. We left straight after dinner and unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We had the pleasure of enjoying this delicious meal and we absolutely loved it! The schnitzel was perfectly golden brown breaded and wonderfully crispy, while the creamy wild garlic mustard sauce gave it a wonderful spice and freshness. The fried potatoes were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – exactly how they should be! The side dishes were also convincing: the salad was fresh and crunchy, and the schnitzel with fried egg was a great addition for lovers of classic home cooking. The entire presentation on the lovingly designed plates rounded off the experience. All in all, a fantastic meal that tastes like traditional cuisine and is made with high quality ingredients. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it!

We were extremely satisfied with both the service and the food. The reception was friendly and we were shown to our table without waiting. A reservation is recommended. After we chose our food, the dishes were prepared in a reasonable time, the dishes were all lovingly prepared and delicious. Only the Wiener-style schnitzel was alone on the plate with a quarter of a lemon and looked a bit “lost”, which was partly because the side dish was served in a separate bowl. Conclusion: the prices correspond to the quality and we would like to come back :)

Update 2/2025 Kale with 5 people. Eat like your mother eats. Service perfect despite a full house. This is how gastro is fun. Finally got a table 😃. Beautiful beer garden in an idyllic landscape. Nice, clear map. Pleasant service. Food hot on the plate even outside. Mild spice... e.g. the fish. But you can season it. Price-wise, completely okay. We'd love to come back there. 👍

We eat there regularly and are always very satisfied. Friendly service and really good - regional - cuisine. All time favorite: The marinated boiled beef, simply delicious! From St. Martin's Day onwards, be sure to eat goose there, like you used to at grandma's.

We hosted our Christmas party at the Gasthof Danne. Everything was to our satisfaction. The food was on point and we were truly spoiled. Big praise for the very good service to the entire Danne team! We'd love to come back.

The food and dessert are not to be missed.

If there are more side dishes on the plate than meat for a game dish (varieties of venison), the joy of eating stops. The baked venison steak was almost impossible to find because of all the breading. - And you would have had to order a salad with the game dish additionally for a fee. No thanks. - Once and not again...

One of the best restaurants in the Arnsberg district. Hospitality is very important here and there are very good, primarily regional dishes that taste very good and are beautifully presented. The salads are unbeatable, the wild salad with chanterelles and saddle of venison is particularly noteworthy. The prices are more than reasonable and absolutely fair for the good service and the very good quality of the food. We look forward to the next visit.

The innkeeper was very friendly, even though the restaurant was closed, we got something to drink!!! Beautiful location at the monastery.

Beautiful place, delicious food, service also very nice. When paying, the PIN device turned out not to work and we had to drive 10 km (back and forth) to get cash. Our son and his girlfriend stayed behind for a while and had another drink...even that drink was added to the bill... The fact that the Pin doesn't work is their problem and we solve it by collecting money. In the Netherlands you would have been offered a free drink in 90% of the cases. Missed opportunity, normally we would certainly have gone again this week...

Passed this cozy restaurant while hiking, beautiful beer garden with lots of shade from beautiful trees and plants. We were warmly welcomed with our dog. We only had something to drink so we can't say anything about the food, but the menu looks promising, there are currently e.g. Asparagus. However, the dog is not allowed into the inn.

Highly recommended, you have to register (reserve a table). Extensive menu, everything very tasty and plentiful.

First of all I would like to praise the service, there is really nothing to complain about. The food tasted really good, but unfortunately it was very plain and the prices were completely overpriced. Risotto with a small salad 18 euros, with chicken 24 euros!!!! It's really over the top and you won't even get full. You can then have a dessert for 9.50!?! A soup 8.50 euros. Where is this supposed to lead? Unfortunately, it's hardly affordable for mere mortals anymore!!!!

One of our favorite restaurants, always excellent food!!

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Schön zu sitzen. Preis Leistung ist gut und es hat uns geschmeckt. Wir kommen wieder. Der Biergarten ist im Sommer bestimmt eine Wucht. Kein Durchgangsverkehr sehr ruhig gelegen und doch sehr gut zu erreichen. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden und eine schöne Gegend um nach dem Essen noch eine Runde zu laufen.

Zu besonderen Anlässen sind wir des öfteren bei Danne. Speisen, Getränke und Service sind sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut angemessen.

Immer wieder gut und lecker. Aber ohne Reservierung läuft nichts. Lohnt sich aber.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team, so wurde ein gemeinsames Geburtstagsessen, zu einem unvergesslichen Gaumenschmaus. Der sonnige Platz im Garten , gegenüber das Glockengeläut des Klosters, alles hat zu einem zufriedenen Wohlsein beigetragen. Wir kommen gerne wieder zu Ihnen!

Sehr netter Service ! Auch eine halbe Stunde vor Küchenschluss noch eine Bestellung aufgenommen und das Essen war bestens !

Ein schöner gemütlicher Gasthof wie es sich gehört. Das Essen ist ehrliche und regionale Handwerkskunst. Ich hatte die Wildfrikadellen mit Pfifferlingen. Es hat super geschmeckt und die Kellnerin hat sich wunderbar gekümmert. Immer wieder gerne nach Danne

eigentlich rundum wohlgefühlt, nur die Anrichtung der Speisen war etwas lieblos. Zum Beispiel keine Salatgarnitur beim Schnitzel.

Sehr nettes, gutgelauntes Personal, schöner Garten, in dem man sitzt. Das Essen war ansehnlich zubereitet, der Fischsalat köstlich und richtig ästhetisch arrangiert. Hinweis: drinnen keine Hunde. Die Küche schließt zu anderen Zeiten als das Restaurant.

Das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet, alles ist frisch angerichtet und perfekt abgeschmeckt. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und lädt nach dem guten Essen zu einem Spaziergang ein.

Wir hatten Tafelspitz und Schnitzel Wiener Art mit beilage Salat. War sehr gut. Auch der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne bald wieder.

Kurzfristig haben wir ein Restaurant gesucht und sind hier fündig geworden. Die Wahl war auf jeden Fall nicht verkehrt. Essen lecker, Service erstklassig und ein gemütliches Restaurant. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben Sülze und die Hausplatte gegessen. Geschmacklich alles sehr gut nur die Form, wie die Sülze serviert wurde, war nicht so schön. Es waren zwei recht dicke Würfel. Etwas dünner geschnitten wäre schöner gewesen. Außerdem war die Sülze etwas fest. Der Kartoffelsalat war selbst gemacht und sehr lecker auch der Brotbelag war ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung und die Atmosphäre im Lokal haben uns sehr gut gefallen!

Schön eingebettet in die Umgebung von Kloster Oelinghausen liegt das Restaurant Danne. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam . Das Essen, in diesem Falle Gänsebraten, war einfach perfekt mit den selbstgemachten Klößen. Die Gänsebrust war zart mit perfekt crosser Haut ... die Soße dazu ist aber einfach ein Traum, und der Rotkohl und der Bratapfel dazu war alles in allem perfekt... besser kann man es zu Hause auch nicht hinbekommen...
