Landgasthof Hoffmann in Arnsberg

We were here as part of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route. After conquering the climb, we were able to park our bikes in the on-site garage. We were also allowed to charge them there. Once we warmed up to the staff, the evening went wonderfully! We had a great time with the owner's son, had a lot of fun, and received excellent service. All in all, a fantastic stay – I highly recommend it.

After an 8km hike, we stopped here and were served a delicious lunch. Top quality at reasonable prices. We'll be back!

I celebrated my birthday there with my family. The staff and Mrs. Hoffmann were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and all requests were accommodated. Whether it was children's or senior citizen portions, even gluten-free food was taken into account. Thank you for the lovely evening. 101% for the delightful orchard.

Underrated. The meat from the on-site pasture-fed cattle is exceptional and on par with Txogitxu and Wagyu—worth a trip.

For years, our family has celebrated the annual family day at the Hoffmann country inn in Rumbeck. Traveling from all over the world, we feel like we're coming home! A warm atmosphere, attentive care for our family members, some of whom are very elderly, and delicious food made with regional products and meat from the farm attached to the restaurant. The Hoffmanns live and breathe hospitality! The new guesthouse offers modern and comfortable vacation apartments and guest rooms. In the main building, all rooms are comfortable, the mattresses are legendary, and you sleep wonderfully. And in the morning, a breakfast buffet awaits guests with homemade delicacies from jam to roast meats and even the phenomenal black pudding and liver sausage. Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, salmon, all lovingly prepared—what more could you want?! We're already looking forward to next year!

I've rarely had such a delicious meal. A family restaurant with an excellent chef. Everything was truly delicious. And at a great price. You really have to eat here!

I can't rate the rooms, as we were only there for lunch. The food was excellent, especially the fried black pudding.

Hi, four of us went there for dinner and were a bit disappointed by the limited selection and also surprised by the beer garden decor, which somehow didn't match the price of the food on offer. The staff made an effort to accommodate the guests, and the food we ordered was tasty and plentiful. While this is just my personal opinion, I would still recommend everyone to visit the restaurant and form their own opinion.

Yesterday, the two of us went to eat at the Landgasthof Hoffmann. We were very satisfied with the service and the food. We especially liked the fact that the Hoffmann family owns their own farm.

Great stay. Very friendly people. Both management and staff. We had a nice spacious room. The restaurant was great! The menu contained only local dishes. Very tasty and confirmed the feeling that we were in the Sauerland. It is actually outside Arnsberg and transport is needed to visit the (Alt)Stadt. Do you have your own transport? Then you will enjoy staying at Landgasthof Hoffmann.

It was only one day, but it was a great experience! You can tell the hotel is family-run: Great, personal, and professional service – that's one thing. Delicious food (especially boiled beef from our own farm... well, the beef), top-notch draft beer, and a wonderful breakfast the next morning. I felt very comfortable with you! The best accommodation for me during my 5-day Ruhrhöhenweg hike – it was a pleasure!

Exceptional family-run Gasthof! I would give six stars, if it were possible. Very nice rooms, very clean and very kind staff. The restaurant very good, with variety of dishes (meat, fish, vegetarian). Pets allowed, both in the rooms and in the restaurant.

On a Wednesday evening we had the pleasure of visiting the country inn's restaurant. When we arrived, we immediately noticed how busy it was - a clear sign of the popularity of the establishment. The main courses impressed with their excellent quality. The preparation was impeccable and the flavor combinations demonstrated the expertise of the kitchen staff. Each dish was carefully composed and presented. At the end we enjoyed an ice cream dessert, which turned out to be a real highlight. The texture and taste were exceptionally well balanced and completed the menu perfectly. Overall, the evening offered a very satisfying culinary experience in a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant undoubtedly deserves 5 stars.

We spent one night at the Landgasthof Hoffmann on a bike tour lasting several days and also had dinner there in the evening. I myself stayed in the guest house (alone) and was more than satisfied with the accommodation. The dinner and the red wine we ordered were excellent and the price/performance ratio was also very good. Together with the friendly service and the delicious breakfast, I give it a clear 5 stars. Will definitely go here again to eat.

Four of us and our motorcycles stayed at the Landgasthof Hoffmann from May 30th to June 2nd, 2024. A great, rural hotel with great owners and staff. From the first minute we felt comfortable and were able to really enjoy the days. Even if the weather wasn't great. Very nice inn. Great food. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed there for one night as part of a bike tour. The welcome was warm and Mr. Hoffmann was very attentive to us and we were often asked if everything was okay or if there was anything they could do for us. If the opportunity arises, we would be happy to come back...

Very tasty food served in a cozy atmosphere by friendly people. We were here with 8 people and everyone was happy. There are also enough parking spaces available. So thumbs up in every respect.

A wonderful place to relax with the family far away from everyday life and indulge in culinary delights. Whether you choose the delicious roast venison, the pork fillet or the salmon platter, everything is of the highest quality. The side dishes also leave nothing to be desired: salad and vegetable platters, rice, croquettes, potatoes or French fries. Everything is served rich and delicious. LARGER EVENTS ARE ALSO USUAL HERE; weddings, baptisms or confirmation parties find an excellent setting here.

Wir waren zum Gänseessen dort und es war so gut, dass wir es direkt 2 Tage später wiederholt haben. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter und tolle Auswahl an Speisen.

Sehr unfreundliches Telefonat, man ist auch kaum zu Wort gekommen. Das Problem überhaupt zu schildern war anstrengend. Auch ist es beinahe Diskriminierung eine Stornierung nicht durchzuführen nur, weil man eine Gehörlose Person telefonisch nicht erreichen konnte.

Es ist ein toller Landgasthof mit eigener Schlachtung. Top Soeisen und Getränken. Sauber Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Personal ist mega zugänglich und auf zack. Freundlichkeit wird hier noch GROSS geschrieben. Parkplätze direkt am Haus.

Sehr gut geführtes Restaurant. Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service und Küche. Ich habe noch nie eine so gute Gans gegessen, Beilagen Soße alles sehr schmackhaft. Für einen sehr angemessenen Preis wurde die Gans alle 3 Gang Menü angeboten, eine klasse Idee! Als netten Abschluss gaben die "Köche" sogar noch ihr Rezept der köstlichen Gans Preis. Wenn wir auch 45 min angereist sind, wir kommen sicher gern wieder.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Mooie grote en propere kamer. Goed ontbijt en diner was genoeg en zeer lekker. Ook mooie wandelstreek. Zeker een aanrader. Enig minpuntje de WiFi maar ze gingen het nodige doen.

Laut wie in einer Kneipe, das Essen dauerte ca.45min und war dann noch versalzen. Also hatten echt den Kaffe auf als wir die Rechnung bekommen haben.

Wir durften unser letztes Wochenende in diesem schönen Hotel verbringen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll. Wir wurden bis auf unser Zimmer geleitet, was ich sehr nett fand. Das Restaurant hat sehr gutes Essen, trotz einer Hochzeit wurden wir schnell und sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Es gab Lachs, Matjes-Stückchen, Roastbeef und andere Leckereien. Kaffee und Ei nach Wahl wurde an den Tisch gebracht. Wir haben schon viele Hotels besucht, aber das Personal in diesem Hotel ist das zuvorkommendste und höflichste was wir je in einem Hotel angetroffen haben.
