Mit Hund 🐕 und Freunden einen Abstecher in die Gaststätte gemacht um die Aussenfläche zu genießen , man hat sich direkt nach Urlaub gefühlt und der Duft nach Dill der vom Gurkensalat durch die Nase zog hat dazu beigetragen das man sich gleich wie bei Oma gefühlt hat ☺️ also sehr sehr gut aufgehoben! Der Service war der Knaller und hat es zu einem wunderbaren Erlebnis gemacht, das neue Kartenlesegerät hat uns und den Service beeindruckt 🤣(Insider) Also Fazit : super gerne wieder denn alle Gerichte die wir hatten waren erste Klasse ! Großes Danke 🙏

Wir waren mit drei Familien hier essen und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen großzügig und alles wurde zügig serviert. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich, dass auf meinen Sonderwunsch eingegangen wurde und ich problemlos Bohnen zu meinem Gericht bekommen habe. Das ist heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich und zeigt, dass auf die Gäste eingegangen wird. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren heute mit 7 Mann zum Spargelessen, hier kann man ja nur 5 Sterne vergeben 😪.. das Essen, die freundliche Bedienung und das gemütlich-osturische Ambiente hätten glatt 10 ⭐️ von 5 verdient! Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir kommen wieder!

Das war unser kulinarisches Highlight im Urlaub. Ich würde fast behaupten, dass das der beste Wildgulasch mit Klößen war, den ich bisher gegessen habe. Wirklich eine tolle Küche mit einer netten Auswahl und kleinen Spezialitäten. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen - vielen Dank für den netten Abend.

Höre nie, niemals uf de Kolleeschen. Tolles Lokal, tolles Essen und gute Preisen, sagtense. Leider hatten sie recht. Sehr zu empfehlen und Vorsicht Suchtgefahr. Hab meiner Mutter gegenüber ein Versprechen eingelöst. Selbst meine Mutter, will noch mal hier her und sie zu überraschen ist schwer.

Angekommen erstmal einen dämlichen Kommentar vom Kellner gedrückt bekommen. Gefragt ob es noch einen Tisch gibt, nur ein hämisches Lachen als Antwort bekommen. Auch wenn wir im Osten sind, kann man sich bei Kundschaft mal ein wenig zusammenreißen. Schade

Ein hervorragendes sächsisches Gartenrestaurant mit Außenterrasse. Ruhig gelegen inmitten kleiner Volksgärten. Riesiges Schnitzel mit köstlichem Spargel von höchster Qualität.

Kleine Speisekarte, aber alles frisch und lecker zubereitet und immer noch zu moderaten Preisen!! Bedienung sehr freundlich und der Chef hat immer einen lustigen Spruch parat. Alles in Allem, sehr zu empfehlen, auch für jegliche Art von Familienfeiern und Feste buchbar. Hatte Zwecks Geburtstag einen Tisch bestellt und es hat alles wunderbar geklappt!

Es war ein gelungenes Abendessen. Die Portionen waren richtig gemacht . Der Service war super und lustig. Leider ist es Kein Lokal für Rollstuhlfahrer. Für einen erneuten Besuch bin ich wieder zu haben haben.

Wir waren spontan zum ersten Mal im Volkshain Stünz und wurden absolut positiv überrascht! Ich hatte kurz vorher angerufen und als wir ankamen, war der Tisch auch schon für uns bereit – ein sehr aufmerksamer Service . Die Karte ist nicht riesig, aber für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei und vor allem: alles klang sehr verlockend. Das Essen war der Hammer! So frisch zubereitet, dass ich mir vor lauter Ungeduld fast den Gaumen verbrannt habe . Der Gurkensalat ist hausgemacht und schmeckt genau wie bei Muttern – einfach herrlich . Unser Kind hatte später noch Lust auf einen Nachtisch und es wurde zauberhaft ein Eis mit ganz vielen frischen Beeren gezaubert . Die Portionen sind wirklich üppig, also kommt mit Hunger! . Die Bedienung war durchweg super freundlich und zuvorkommend . Und das Beste: Für fünf Personen haben wir insgesamt nur etwa 125 Euro bezahlt. Das ist ein absolut fairer Preis für diese Qualität und die großzügigen Mengen . Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gemütlich – hier stimmt einfach alles! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

We've eaten there several times over the past few weeks for family celebrations and can't say anything negative about it. :) We were there again on September 25, 2025, for a family celebration, and the food was simply delicious. A great restaurant with typical German cuisine, just like you'd expect from the old days. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is rustic and beautiful. The beer garden/outdoor area is especially lovely! The food was delicious and, by today's standards, very fairly priced. I had the rump steak, and it wasn't perfectly medium, but also incredibly large! Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back! 🙂👍🏻

Great food. Really everything like at mom's house. Large portions at reasonable prices. A “garden restaurant” that can compete with any big city restaurant. Service authentic and friendly. The decor is a bit quaint, but it doesn't matter to me if the food is good. Absolutely recommended. Be sure to reserve, capacity is limited.

Trip with dog I had made reservations at this restaurant for our excursion. We were warmly welcomed. Our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog was also welcomed and a drinking bowl was already waiting for him. The selection of dishes was varied. The food was very well prepared, looked very appetizing and tasted great. There was so much that we unfortunately couldn't make it, despite the delicious taste. We visited the restaurant for the second time. The food was very tasty and the service was also extremely nice. If we ever want to go out to eat in Leipzig again, it could definitely be the restaurant again.

We came across this restaurant by chance. We, a large Swabian family, were very satisfied with the very good dishes, generous portions and the friendly host. Finally there was a round of Augustiner wines. We went home completely full and happy.

We were greeted by a great host. We got a great meal. The menu had a large selection. It was difficult to decide. The variety of beers on offer was also great. The only drawback: the path to the toilet is a bit adventurous and winding, especially if you come from the beer garden (which, by the way, is very nicely designed). So be careful when overindulging in the many types of beer! We'll definitely be back. We have already booked a table for St. Martin's goose dinner :-).

Small but fine, rustic restaurant, with indoor and outdoor areas. Nice location in the middle of the green Stünz. Accessible on foot and by car (note, limited parking and somewhat winding, hidden access from outside) The staff is incredibly friendly and, despite the smaller number of staff, they are not overwhelmed by the larger number of guests. This time we had a buffet for a large event, but I would like to stop by again for individual dishes! Because it was delicious.

I often eat here with my girlfriend. We love this small cozy restaurant. Here you will be welcomed and served in a very friendly manner. The prices are currently still completely okay or justified in terms of quality. Special requests are taken into account and even if you look for a place more spontaneously, it usually works out, even if it is full. We really enjoy being here :)

We spontaneously went to Volkshain Stünz for the first time. I had called shortly before and when we arrived the table was already waiting. The menu wasn't extensive, but there was something for every taste. A children's portion was also prepared for the child present. After ordering, the drinks came quickly and the food came after about 30 minutes. The food was very, very tasty and freshly prepared. So fresh I burned the roof of my mouth. The cucumber salad is homemade and tastes like your mother's. The child felt like dessert and ice cream with fresh berries was conjured up. The ambience is stylish and cozy. The bottom line is that we paid around 125 euros for five people, which I think is a good price.

Great staff and delicious food. If you like eating German cuisine, this is the right place for you. In addition to classic dishes, you can always find something interesting and new on the well-stocked menu. We enjoy using the beautiful outdoor space and are already looking forward to the asparagus season. A fair price-performance offer.

Since there was a death in my family, I had to take care of, among other things, the obligatory meal after the funeral. Through a recommendation I was referred to the owner, Mr. Urban from the Restaurant Volkshain Stünz mediated. Since I was inexperienced with things like funerals, I also needed professional advice on food. And I found this professional advice from Mr. Urban and during the preliminary consultation I received the right advice and also felt comfortable. He made me culinary offers for this challenge, where I couldn't say no to the price-performance ratio ;-). Mr. Urban was also very flexible with the time slots I needed (outside regular opening hours). On the day in question, everything went perfectly, including the food was great, of good quality and of course sufficient. During the subsequent feedback from the family, there was only positive feedback. Because my family and I really enjoyed it there, Going to this restaurant is and will now be a program!! (If I continue to find my way from Dessau to Leipzig more often) Mr. Urban's dry sense of humor deserves special mention. I'm already looking forward to it again. All in all I am thrilled and satisfied with this restaurant for me having found past challenges. I can only warmly recommend the Volkshain Stünz restaurant. Just try it out if you don't know it. It will be worth it. And if Mr. Urban won, just keep it up!!! Until the next culinary visit with you.

Top Freisitz, sehr guter Service, leckeres Essen, ein sehr kommunikativer Chef. Aber nun das Aber. Die Preise fanden wir total überzogen und das bei nur 7% MwSt und auch den ansonsten positiven Anmerkungen. 21,50 € für ein Hamburger Schnitzel und 19,90 für Schafskäse auf Röstitalern ist einfach zu teuer.
