The restaurant is conveniently located and can be reached quickly by public transport. The food is down-to-earth and very tasty, just home cooking. The service is always in a good mood, despite the stress. I'm quite critical, but I have to admit, this place is really very good and I would come back at any time!

We were only visiting Leipzig briefly and spontaneously came across this restaurant through an online search. An absolutely friendly, direct and cheerful lady greeted us on site and offered us great service. We felt very well looked after. The food also came very quickly and there was a lot of it :D and absolutely delicious. I can only warmly recommend it!

We decided to go to this restaurant out of necessity because our actual restaurant was full even after reservations. And that was the best we could do. Even after the kitchen closed at 8 p.m., we still managed to get a place for 9 people after calling ahead. We were immediately greeted warmly and then we ordered. The rump steak was perfect, juicy, tender and still partly red in the middle. The schnitzels were large and tender. ... I can only recommend it 😉

The Phönix Garden Association is really a wonderful place, but what made my visit special was the excellent support from an on-site employee. She was extremely friendly, helpful and really took her time. Her passion for the Phoenix and her mission was clearly noticeable, which made the entire stay very pleasant. You can tell that she puts a lot of passion into her job. Thank you for your great support – I’ll definitely be happy to come back! Delicious 😋

We were there with friends, and there was a larger birthday party there besides us. This meant we had to wait a little longer, but that was explained to us and we had time. We enjoyed the food very much, the drinks came on time and the waitress was very friendly. All in all a successful evening. 06/29/24 Last night we were in the Phoenix again. It reopened a while ago. We were very satisfied again this time. The food came quickly, drinks were asked for very promptly and the refills didn't take long either. Our granddaughter's special request to put together the menu was kindly responded to. There was no extra charge for this! And it tasted very good too. We would love to come back and have already made reservations for a larger group in September.

Good home-made dishes, nice to unwind after work

Today we wanted to try a birthday dinner in a garden restaurant with 6 people. It was a nice and clean restaurant and it completely exceeded our expectations. The service was quick and friendly. And the food was just great. Very plentiful and tasty. Again and again. Try it yourself. You won't regret it.

We stopped by shortly after the reopening and found it to be good. We had arranged to meet up for lunch today with our family (6 adults, 3 children). Everything was fine again. The friendly service served us all different dishes that looked very appealing and we all really enjoyed them. It was an absolute feel-good stay, and the children weren't bored either, as there was also a selection of toys. We'll be back :-)

Yesterday we were at the Garden Restaurant Phoenix and were very happy with the friendly service and the delicious food, it was very plentiful. You felt like you were in good hands.

Unfortunately, I know the Phoenix differently and before the reopening. Some of the taste of the food has changed. Farmer's breakfast was very salty and was almost burnt and dry. The schnitzels were smaller than before. We ordered schnitzel with 2 eggs and fries - it ended up coming with fried potatoes. The goulash was tough and the red cabbage didn't taste like red cabbage. The pasta with salmon was lukewarm. 1 service for the well-filled restaurant... that's simply not enough.

Beef roulade is simply incredibly delicious

After the reopening, I ate in this restaurant again for the first time and was completely impressed. Definitely we'll come back.

The staff is very friendly even though it was quite stressful Since the cook was off and the boss himself was on vacation when they just opened and it was Saturday. Saturday is the day when people are at home and have time, including time to go out to eat. The boss probably needs to work on his attitude a bit more. But the food is still good and the staff there tried their best, even though the waitress had to help out in the kitchen at times. I think it was a starting error because everything else worked fine.

We had to wait a long time because of another larger group. The food made up for us. It was really tasty.

The food was great and tasty, unfortunately I didn't find an alternative other than pork schnitzel, since I don't eat pork I would be happy if turkey schnitzel or veal schnitzel were also offered. Thank you

After the reopening on March 1st, 2024, we ended up in the “Phoenix” today by chance. We have been guests before now and then. The food is really tasty and a lot. The price/performance ratio is more than ok. Everything that was served looked delicious. And the service is just great! Despite the many guests, you felt like you were in good hands. The two were constantly in action and always with a smile on their faces and usually with a quick saying on their lips. Empty glasses were quickly noticed and filled. The only drawback of the evening is the acoustics in the restaurant (that's why only 4 stars for the ambience, but that's really only a very small negative point. The 5th star is actually only missing a point.) It's not the last time we've been to the "Phoenix" and we're already looking forward to the outdoor seating season. Thank you for the lovely evening 🙋‍♀️🙃👍

We were at the new owner's opening. We are more than thrilled and satisfied. Ambience very cozy, bright and friendly. Food was super tasty, absolute improvement. Beautifully prepared and highly recommended in terms of taste. Service friendly and accommodating. We can only report positive things about our “test” visit and are happy to recommend it. We wish the new tenant much success and keep it up.

Ein schönes Gartenlokal mit Hausmannskost, hier kann man noch hören wie sein Schnitzel verdroschen wird 🤣 Bedienung war sehr nett und gut drauf und die Preise passen. Wir kommen wieder.

Erster Eindruck war ok. Man sollte aber schauen, wie der Wind steht und ob jemand am Sonntag (!) mit Brenner und Dachpappe hantiert. Es stank! Auch das Rauchen zur Mittagszeit scheint hier kein Thema, so dass man eingenebelt wird oder soll man bei schönem Wetter im Gastraum Platz nehmen? Es dauerte bis Getränkebestellung aufgenommen wurde und kam. Speisekarte wurden lieblos auf den Tisch geknallt. Vielleicht sollte man markieren, was "gerade aus" ist oder Sonntags besser nicht hier essen? Dann dauerte es wieder fast eine Stunde bis das Essen kam. Vielleicht bin ich zu anspruchsvoll? Aber Tomate mit dem grünen Rest vom Stiel geht gar nicht! Egal, wie klein man die Tomate würfelt. Kindergericht Pommes, Nuggets und Ketschup. Es fehlte das Ketschup, was trotz Nachfrage nicht nachgeliefert wurde. Gericht wurde trotz dessen voll berechnet. Die Bedienung sprach lieber mit Stammgästen. Es sollte ein Nachtisch sein. Von drei bestellten Eis, kamen nur zwei an. Erst auf Nachfrage kam auch das Dritte. Und zuletzt: Wer noch nie hier war: Der Schlüssel für die Herrentoilette liegt am Thresen, die Damentoilette war offen. Wenn jemand die Toiletten kontrollieren würde, könnte man feststellen, dass Toilettenpapier fehlt. Somit blieben zwei Sterne für die Lokalität und die geschmackliche Qualität.

Wir sind begeistert von dieser Lokalität und kommen gerne wieder. Super Service, lecker Essen und nettes Personal. Der Chef kocht alles selbst und vor allem frisch. Mein Rumpsteak war auf den Punkt.

Waren von Freunden eingeladen zum Abendessen. Das schöne Gartenlokal mit seinem Ambiente, hatte eine reichliche Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten. Wir waren 8 Personen und jeder hatte ein frisch zubereitetes Essen, was auch für das Auge angerichtet war. Hier kocht der Chef noch selbst und möchte mit seinem Team , dass es seinen Gästen gut geht. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Gehobene Gartengaststätte. Wir wurden im Vorfeld ehrlich informiert, dass es länger dauert (auf Grund einer größeren Gesellschaft). Und das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und zu einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zu bekommen. Der Service denkt mit und ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Wir haben im Biergarten gesessen,die Speisen sind sehr gut, aber die Getränke sind sehr teuer, wird doch nicht die Inflation daran Schuld sein, aber dennoch empfehlenswert, wir haben gehört, das im September geshlossen wird, Schade!

Man kann sich dort schön hinsetzen und Essen. Genug Schatten ist bei Sommerhitze draußen auch vorhanden. Für Kinder ist auch gleich dort ein Spielplatz mit dran. Sehr nettes Servicepersonal.

Es war nicht mega gefüllt, aber der Gastgeber ist trotzdem auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Für ein Gartenlokal ist das Ambiente sehr angenehm und modern eingerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war durchaus ok und in der Kategorie rustikal angesiedelt. Wahrgenommene Qualität passt zum Preis, der recht gering ist. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich und bemüht allerdings offenbar im Sommer leider deutlich zu wenig für die Gästeanzahl. (Ggf sollte sie Kapazität angepasst werden an die Möglichkeiten?!) Das Ambiente ist "typisch Garten", sehr positiv ist der Spielplatz.

War mit Familie und Freunden zum Geburtstag da, Essen Spitze, Bedienung einfach toll. Es war voll besucht 2 Feiern und extra Gäste. Nur eine Bedinung Die junge Frau gerannt Essen Getränke aufgenommen ausgeteilt und immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht als wäre alles nur ein Klacks. Einfach nur Spitze. Bleibt so, wir kommen immer wieder. Hervorragendes Lokal und spitzen Küche mit gut bürgerlicher Karte. Die Preise sind mehr als moderat und man wird immer freundlich empfangen. Sind immer wieder gerne hier.
