I've known this restaurant since childhood and am very happy that the family has now taken over the business. On my first visit, I chose the Würzfleisch (spiced meat) as a starter. It was served with baguette, lemon, and Worcestershire sauce. I was thrilled that they were still using the original recipe from the owner's father, as it's truly unique. For my main course, I had braised ox cheek on mashed potatoes and bean tartare. Besides the modern presentation, the taste was a 10/10. All the components worked together perfectly. Anyone who enjoys braised dishes should definitely try this ox cheek. The bruschetta with pumpkin is also highly recommended. We lacked for nothing – the service, the ambiance, and the value for money were all perfectly matched. Even a brief chat with the owner and chef was very pleasant. We'll be back!

We celebrated a family celebration here today with over 15 people. Even though we chose this location spontaneously and had never been here before, it was truly the best decision! The table was lovingly prepared, and every detail was thought of. We ordered Wiener schnitzel, beef burger, roast beef, and breaded pike-perch, among other dishes – everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. The service was also excellent – ​​the entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made us feel completely at home. We were all very satisfied, full, and happy. We will definitely be back!

Car parking is available if you're bringing elderly people with you. The staff is great, attentive, and very helpful. The prices are great.

We celebrated our second 60th birthday here and would like to thank you again for the fantastic food, service, and everything else. All our guests, young and old, felt completely at home. The food was excellent, hence 5 out of 5 stars, and the presentation was also lovingly presented. The ambiance, on the other hand, was almost unloving, but it's a pub in a garden park: the rooms were okay.

We visited here on August 26, 2025. The service was very friendly, the food came very quickly, and it was truly delicious. The seating is lovely, amidst the greenery, far from the road. Very pleasant.

A lovingly run little restaurant with a very pleasant menu and good food. If you're not a local (like us 😉), you should know that it's a garden restaurant, so you walk a few meters through the gardens to get there; you can't drive right up to it. 😎👍🏻

I would have liked to give the restaurant 5 stars. Almost everything was great. Unfortunately, I have to point out a few things that weren't quite perfect, but that's nitpicking at a high level. First of all, I haven't eaten such a good rump steak in a long time. It was truly excellent 👍. Unfortunately, I found the fried potatoes too soft and too fatty. Still, the seasoning was excellent. Furthermore, the food could have been warmer. Nevertheless, the taste was very, very good. For dessert, there was crème brûlée; I haven't had such a good one in a long time. The chocolate cake with a liquid center was unfortunately no longer liquid 😔. But the taste was top-notch. I would like to point out again that the food was top-notch, of excellent quality, and very, very tasty. I hope you keep up the good work and can continue to thrive. I wish you the same. P.S. The service was excellent; the restaurant was full, but there were no waits; the service was always attentive and friendly. Please keep it up

I thought, nice, new ambiance, and spontaneously decided at 5 p.m. Sunday to enjoy a Sunday evening dinner for two. Call, answer: Yes, 7 p.m. is still okay... (They close at 8:30 p.m.) I'll forget about it... I cook myself... sorry, that was the first and last attempt.

How unusual must the question "for dog ice cream" be for someone to react so snippily, as if they were asking for human flesh, and then to make fun of it with colleagues in the bar says it all about this backwoods bar. Very annoying!!!!!

A restaurant as you would imagine. A little old, but also worn. Rustic and with a lot of charm. It is very authentic and the food is good, home-style. Here you are greeted with a friendly hello and a hug. You immediately feel comfortable. You don't have to wait for your food - the service here is fantastic, even when it's full. The steak is also recommended. Super!

Absolutely recommended! We celebrated my mom's 90th birthday here. And were thrilled. Such a nice team!! Attentive, quick, friendly and funny. We had a great evening here. We'll be back by the 100th at the latest :-)

Unfortunately I couldn't rate the food because I didn't get anything at 7:45 p.m., despite asking, not even a slice of bread. The older lady was also very unfriendly.

Seven of us got a place here at short notice and had a very nice evening. The food was delicious, it came quickly and the children were even given something to paint while they waited! Very cozy garden restaurant, everything was clean and a lot of things had been renewed. The landlady is very friendly and there is not a long waiting time. The food is good, very tasty and the portions are sufficient. Of course, the prices here have also been adjusted to today's standards, but the quality of the food is worth it.

Schönes Gartenlokal mit einer großen Karte. Man bekommt dort gute Hausmannskost zu fairen Preisen und ordentliche Portionen, wir waren immer satt und zufrieden. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, man sitzt nie auf den Trockenen, auch die Wartezeit auf das Essen ist nicht lang. Das Ambiente ist, wie man es in einem Gartenlokal erwartet, eher rustikal, dabei ist es immer sauber und ordentlich. Bei schönen Wetter kann man den kleinen Biergarten nutzen, ideal für Radfahrer auf ein Bier. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, kann direkt in die Kleingartenanlage reinfahren (Achtung von der Geibelstraße aus) und direkt vor dem Lokal parken. Eine Reservierung ist zu empfehlen. Die beste Chemnitzer Gartenkneipe, die ich je besucht habe. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Portionen könnten ein kleines bisschen größer sein. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist recht groß, allerdings werden Vegetarier hier nur bedingt fündig. Die Teller werden schön angerichtet. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich.

Wir sind zu einem Geburtstag hier gewesen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, zuvorkommend, es wurde immer darauf geachtet, ob noch jemand etwas trinken oder essen möchte. Das Essen ist eine ehrliche, bodenständige gute Küche. Auf Änderungswünsche wurde eingegangen. Perfekt. 100% Weiterempfehlung. Leider habe ich keine Bilder gemacht. Aber beim nächsten Mal. ; )
