Ratskeller Niebüll in Niebüll

We went to the Ratskeller yesterday because of the slightly different menu. Absolutely fun and imaginative. We had lunch from the weekly specials. Very tasty. But what impressed us most, and still bothers us today, was the young waiter. If he were awarded stars alone, five stars wouldn't be enough. Two women with severe visual and hearing impairments were sitting next to us. And this young waiter was so respectful and courteous to the two women. He read from the menu, even cut the meat for them, and explained where each cutlery was. We've never experienced anything like that before. And we told him so. And he was very happy about it. His boss must consider himself lucky to have such an employee. We wish the young waiter all the best for his life. It's wonderful that there are people who treat people with disabilities with such respect, dignity, and consideration. Thank you for that. Heike and Ralf

Not immediately obvious from the outside, but then we found it. While the ambiance could be a bit cozier for my taste, the super-friendly/good service and the excellent food more than make up for it. Good value for money.

We ate here last night to round off our vacation. Very, very friendly staff. The food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is a bit chilly, but definitely fitting for a Ratskeller restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Bottom line: The people here still enjoy their work. :) We'll be back!

A rather unusual menu for a Ratskeller restaurant – little "German cuisine" but a large selection of traditional dishes. Overall, though, it was good. Only the cucumber salad was extremely spicy.

A humorously designed menu with a wide selection of dishes. We had burgers and herring, both very good and plentiful. The two waitresses were also very friendly and quick. So, nothing to complain about. One tiny drawback: The restaurant, as the name suggests, is located in the basement. So, there's not much of a view.

First of all, a huge compliment to the kitchen and the staff. Regarding the service, I can only say that I've really missed such friendly and attentive service at other restaurants over the past few years; most of them could take a great leaf out of their book about how to put hospitality first. What can I say about the food: perfect, superb, etc. A huge compliment to all of you! Stay the way you are, it's exactly right, and we'll definitely be back. And for those of you who have just read this, off to dinner at the Ratskeller Zack Zack. Best, Hörger

A very nice café on Niebüll's market square. There's outdoor seating, but it's also extremely cozy inside. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, and prices are perfectly reasonable for the location... You can safely go there and enjoy your time.

Wow - such a pleasant surprise! We had two burgers here yesterday: absolutely delicious! Fresh fries... and a delicious apple strudel for dessert - without ice cream upon request. The service was very friendly and attentive! It's a shame that this great restaurant is barely noticeable from the outside. It deserves much more attention!

Unfortunately, it feels like a waiting room on a train station. A few screens with flower pots in front would make it feel more comfortable. The staff were friendly despite the stress caused by a shortage of staff. As I said, spruce up the interior a bit, and it would be great.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Ratskeller in Niebüll. The staff was very friendly and seemed genuine, which gave you the feeling that they genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. The food was very good. We had cheese spaetzle, rump steak, fries, and steamed vegetables, all of which we can recommend. Next time, we'll try the burger. The menu also includes schnitzel, vegetarian dishes, and a few other delicacies. Since the language on the menu is adapted to the Ratskeller's motto, it's recommended that you familiarize yourself with it online beforehand. Or you can translate the old-fashioned terms together on site, which is also fun.

Very friendly service, delicious food in a very nice restaurant. Very pleasant and quiet. Parking is available. Everything is very clean. Definitely recommended.

We celebrated our child's confirmation at the Ratskeller and are still thrilled. The food was consistently excellent – ​​tasty, lovingly prepared, and a delight for all guests. What really made this day special, however, was the fantastic team. The staff were attentive, friendly, and yet completely natural – just the right mix of professionalism and warmth. We simply felt welcome and in good hands. The atmosphere at the Ratskeller is stylish, yet warm and inviting – perfect for a festive occasion like this. A huge thank you to the entire team for this thoroughly successful day. We wholeheartedly recommend the Ratskeller!

A meal fit for a knight. The feast of beer was a treat for the throat. The fortress was cozy... The damsels were very attentive to the knights' physical well-being. 👍👍💪

A 200g steak with a small salad and croquettes for 36 euros? You expected a certain level of quality. Unfortunately that wasn't the case... The steak was tough and lukewarm and basically unseasoned. The salad with vinegar and oil much, much, much too sweet and the croquettes with a strange aftertaste (cheap Tk goods?) Absolutely disappointing. The service was very nice. The ambience is moderate. Given the many positive reviews, I may have been unlucky, but unfortunately it was a failure... It's a shame...

We got a steak that was still very raw and not medium rare. We wanted to try the Ratskeller because of the good reviews and were disappointed. When informed, the almost raw steak was taken back with the information that it would be remade. Unfortunately we received the same steak back cut in half. In the meantime the spices were also burnt. The degree of doneness was OK, but that was all. Even the sauce that was already on the other plate had to be requested again and was charged additionally. The schnitzel was very black at the bottom and therefore didn't taste pleasant. We eat out very often but rarely eat so badly. Maybe the Ratskeller had a bad day but they could have at least offered each other a coffee or something as an apology. Unfortunately, apologizing with words alone is not effective. We will avoid the restaurant and unfortunately cannot recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised: without a reservation, we got a table with 5 people on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. We had an appetizer, burger and dessert 😋 Everything was fresh and very tasty. The waiting time was reasonable. Big compliments to the kitchen and the friendly service, who also reacted coolly to our little sand accident. 😎 Clearly recommended, as the price-performance ratio was also great! 👍

We happened to stop at this restaurant as vacationers. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and served very attentively. We both liked the food very much, cheese spaetzle and plaice Finkenwerder style. The salad gets special praise, super tasty - with fruits and typical salad vegetables, a little different than usual. We can definitely recommend the Ratskeller!

During our short vacation in Niebüll we decided on the Ratskeller on the second evening. The menu offers something for every taste, the preparation is fresh and the food was really tasty. Since I couldn't decide between the vegetarian options, I got a smaller portion of the dish with Brussels sprouts, potatoes, walnuts and parmesan and a smaller portion of the cheese spaetzle. Both were very well made and simply delicious. The dragon burger that my husband chose was juicy, with delicious sauce and jalapenos. Just so spicy that the name seems appropriate. The chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (delicious!) made for a nice ending. Both women in service were friendly and cheerful. That was a wonderful evening!

Was in the Ratskeller for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. First of all, I was impressed by the presence of an elevator, because with my prostheses the stairs would have been a challenge. The table we reserved, there were four of us, was large and very pleasant due to the niche location. The service was consistently extremely friendly and accommodating. We have a kale menu, full of food, of excellent quality, both the cabbage and the meat and potatoes, and just as deliciously prepared. The atmosphere was like in an old cellar vault (reminded me of the old Braukeller or Ratskeller in Husum. Only the basic volume is very high, the level increased the fuller the vault became. Last but not least, a very nice evening. And that was certainly not my or our last visit there. Today on March 2nd. 24 for schnitzel evening/dinner.... Extremely tasty, goes well with the side dishes... Bonus points for the chef, the small salad was very nice...

Das Essen im Ratskeller war wirklich sehr gut, die Bedienung freundlich, flott und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente jedoch hat uns gar nicht gefallen. Gut, das Restaurant ist tatsächlich im Keller, aber das war es dann auch schon. Einen Ratskeller kenne ich mit altem Gewölbe und urig, zünftig eingerichtet. Hier hat man zwar versucht, mit ein paar wenigen Dekostücken eine ritterliche Atmosphäre zu schaffen, die sich jedoch in dem modernen, fast steril wirkendem Ambiente verliert. So ist bei uns kein Wohlfühlfaktor entstanden. Schade.

Sind am Freitag von Freunden im Ratskeller eingeladen worden. Wir wurden sehr nett in Empfang genommen und wir konnten uns einen Platz aussuchen. GANZ toll war übrigens der Fahrstuhl!!!!Als Eingeschränkte echt super:,) Die Getränke dauerten recht lange(Flaschenbier und Hugo[allerdings ohne Limette und Minze].Der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Aufmachung der Speisekarte war super passend👍.Das Essen war sehr lecker und meins heiß.

Sieht ganz spannend aus unten im Keller. Für einen kleineren Ort eine interessante und etwas ulkige Location. Wer auf Mittelalter steht, wird dort vermutlich happy. Erdapfelsticks waren lecker und die Bedienung freundlich.

Gute Küche, liebenswürdige und aufmerksame Bedienung hübsches Lokal, dass noch sehr neu wirkt - etwas mehr an Deko vertragen würde... 😊

Zum Hochzeitstag haben wir uns heute entschlossen nach Niebüll in den Ratskeller zu fahren, nach knapp 40 Minuten Fahrzeit und kurzer Überlegung haben wir uns dann für Medallions mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat sowie Cordon Bleu entschieden! Das Essen war Super lecker, da versteht der Koch sein Handwerk! Überrascht waren wir allerdings vom Salat mit Essig/Öl Dressing (es ist der bisher beste Salat den ich in den letzten Jahrzehnten gegessen habe) Vielen Dank für den tollen Service und das leckere Essen!

Wir haben bestellt und das essen abgeholt. Wie immer sehr lecker, Empfang sehr freundlich (auch wie immer). Essen war schnell zubereitet und die Wartezeit somit gering. Immerwieder gerne❤️ S

Sehr schönes und leicht ritterlich angehauchtes Restaurant. Die Preise sind in Taler (€) und ritterlicher Sprache ausgewiesen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und aufmerksam! Das Essen war auch sehr gut! Ich hatte ein 300g Rumpsteak nach Tagespreis. 11€/100g heute... Noch vollkommen im preislichen Rahmen, da es gute Qualität ist. Ich hatte medium bestellt und es war medium auf den Punkt! Also gerne wieder!!!

Die meisten Sterne gehen an das Freundliche Personal. Wir hatten uns das Restaurant Internet raus gesucht. Die Speisekarte hatte uns online schon sehr zugesagt. Das Restaurant ist der Speisekarte entsprechend ausgestattet ( Mittelalterlich/Ritterhaft) . Leider war das Essen nicht wie wir erwartet haben… Das bestellte „Saisongemüse“ war augenscheinlich und geschmacklich wie das TK Gemüse was man schnell in nen Topf warm macht. Der Salat hatte sein Strunk noch dran. Die Kroketten waren leider auch sehr „pappig“. Das Rumpsteak was wir als Medium bestellt haben war fast komplett Roh. Und das für ein Gesamtpreis von 70€. Da kriegt man woanders mehr Frische und Qualität für diesen Preis.

Nachdem wir bei zuvor bei Restaurants anriefen und unhöflich abgewiesen wurden, stießen wir auf den Ratskeller und versuchten unser Glück. Am Telefon war das Personal schon super freundlich und sogar mit Hund war der Besuch kein Problem. Parkplätze fanden wir direkt vor Ort. Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und großzügig eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen sehr ruhigen Tisch, was für unseren Hund sehr hilfreich war, da Restaurantbesuche noch geübt werden. Sofort wurde der Hund mit Wasser versorgt und wir konnten das leckere Essen bestellen und genießen! Die Portionen sind üppig und mit Liebe angerichtet. Auch vor Ort war das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiter und kommen bei nächsten Besuch der Gegend gerne wieder.

Wir waren spontan dort gewesen und es war uns ein inneres Blumenpflücken. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war wirklich hervorragend, große Portionen die auch wirklich satt machen aber auch nicht zu groß das man die Hälfte liegen lässt, sehr freundliches Personal, die Speisekarte war sehr ansprechend und brachte uns auch zum schmunzeln. Das Ambiente passt zum Namen und wirkt auch nicht zu überladen. Im Ganzen eine 10/10

Der Ratskeller sieht aus wie ein Rittersaal. Nett gestaltet mit Schwertern usw. Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat war die super nette Bedienung. Vielen lieben Dank 😃 Das Vegetarische Bauernfrühstück war echt große Klasse 👍🏻

Obwohl es sehr spontan war, haben wir dennoch einen guten Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal mehr als freundlich. Die Speisekarte ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und bietet Abwechslung. So heißt die Cola nicht einfach Cola, sondern "brauner Sprudeltrunk" und die Preise sind in Talern statt Euro angegeben. Das Ambiente soll an einen Rittersaal erinnern, trifft dieses Motto aber nicht immer (bspw. passen die Lampen oder die Dekolaternen nicht). Insgesamt aber eine empfehlenswerte Alternative zu den "Standard-Restaurants".

Wir sind hier in Urlaub und per Zufall auf dieses schöne Lokal gestoßen. Personal super nett und zuvorkommend , essen war mega lecker und schnell serviert . Leider kann man nur 5 Sterne vergeben aber wir waren zu 4. hier also 20 Sterne 🥰👍🏼

Sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Eine gute Idee das Baukastenprinzip für die Beilagen. So kann man sein Steak oder Schnitzel nach seinem eigenen Geschmack zusammenstellen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es ist klein und gemütlich. Die Kellnerin ist super lieb und freundlich. Das essen war super gut. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! (und wir kommen aus Hamburg!)

Wir haben dieses Restaurant gewählt, weil hier für jeden von uns was dabei war (ich lebe vegan). Ich habe mich noch nie so wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden regelmäßig nach unserem Befinden gefragt. Mein Vater hatte ein Steak und die Chefin kündigte an noch Mal vorbei zu kommen und zu fragen, ob das Steak so ist wie er es wollte. Es war perfekt. Außerdem war mein 5 jähriger Neffe nicht gut drauf und wollte keine Pommes mit Schnitzel. Wir haben gefragt, ob wir für ihn die Käsespätzle ohne Käse bekommen können und das war auch kein Problem. Kind glücklich. Die Portionen sind recht groß. Also geht mit ordentlich Hunger hin. Desert hatte keinen Platz mehr. Wobei es glaube ich auch kein veganes Desert gab. Mein Burger war auch sehr lecker. Auch wenn ich pickles statt normaler Salatgurke auf dem Burger bevorzuge. Hinweis: Tip geht nur extra bar und nicht per Karte. Hätte mit Karte mehr getippt, mussten allerdings die letzten Barrenserven zusammen kratzen. 🫣
