Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Wartezeit war nicht zu lang.

Kalispéra. Ein sehr schönes authentisches griechisches Restaurant. Die Servicekraft war super nett und immer am Lächeln. Eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Da ist es nicht einfach sich zu entscheiden. Bei einer gemischten Fleischplatte kann man nichts falsches machen. Sehr lecker zubereitet. Für meinen Geschmack waren die obersten Pommes bisschen zu salzig, aber dennoch ein sehr leckeres Essen. Das Gyros war richtig gut. Der Rest auch und die unteren Pommes waren dann auch sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind mega groß. Unbedingt viel Hunger mitbringen und falls nicht, wird der Rest eingepackt. Ein Besuch wert.

Es ist typisch deutsch, mit Pommes, Kraut und viel Fleisch. Wir waren zu zweit und haben uns ein Grillgericht geteilt. Die Fleischreste haben wir mit nach Hause genommen und selbst zwei Tage später noch nicht alles aufgegessen. Aber alles in allem war es sehr gemütlich. Das Lokal ist ein altes, charmantes Gasthaus.

Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem reservierten Tisch geleitet. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Die Auswahl ist groß, da findet jeder etwas. Auch auf individuelle Wünsche wird gern eingegangen. Das Essen kam trotz vollem Lokal zügig. Es war wirklich lecker. Besonders positiv: Das Essen ist nicht so fettig, wie leider oft in griechischen oder balkanesischen Restaurants üblich. Also wirklich lecker und frisch zubereitet. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gegart und die Beilagen perfekt. Zahlung per EC- und Kreditkarte möglich. Zum Schluss bekamen wir noch einen Ouzo aufs Haus angeboten. Alles in allem sehr positiv, ich war das erste Mal da, aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Man kommt als Fremder und geht als Freund. Rundum empfehlenswert!

Wir waren zu sechst da. Sehr freundlich und super Service auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Riesige Portionen die sehr lecker waren und Reste kann man auch mitnehmen. Einfach nur weiter zuempfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Eine typische griechische Taverne wie man sie sich vorstellt. Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut. Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Um 12.30 Uhr Tisch bestellt. Da gab es kein Fladenbrot für die Vorspeise. Das erste Rindersteak war entgegen der Bestellung durchgebraten und hatte einen komischen Beigeschmack. Wir haben gedacht, dass es versehentlich Leber sei, was jedoch verneint wurde. Als ich das neu gelieferte Stück anschnitt, fiel es in sich zusammen, als wenn es mit Gas aufgeblasen war. So etwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Das Gyros war geschmacksneutral. Nein Danke.

Heute mal wieder lecker hier in der Taverne Rhodos gegessen und getrunken! Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier, das Personal ist super lieb und aufmerksam und das Essen ist top!

Es war soweit sehr schön. Leider fehlte am Ende der sonst übliche Uso was etwas verwundert hat.

Wir wollten einen Tisch reservieren, gerne in einer Ecke, damit unser kleiner Hund nicht stört. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass Hunde nicht bzw. nur auf der Terrasse erlaubt sind - im Januar eher semigut 🙄 Sehr schade, aber dann gehen wir eben woanders essen und lassen unser Geld lieber da, wo Hunde willkommen sind 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry, but I can't understand the good reviews. The service is good and friendly, they even offered ouzo, more than one. The ambiance, however, is truly unpleasant and unattractive. But you come for the food, right? The portions are huge, that's true. But delicious? Not a chance! Take the Cappadocia platter, for example (lamb steak in vegetables with Metaxa or wine sauce): frozen vegetables, like you'd get at Aldi—broccoli, cauliflower, carrot slices. Unseasoned, just warm and drenched in tons of Metaxa sauce. The lamb, which you couldn't help but feel sorry for, was mixed in. The side rice was also unseasoned. You search in vain for anything Mediterranean, perhaps steamed, or even just onion or garlic. The appetizer salad was also coleslaw from a big bucket, with a few leaves of lettuce and no dressing. If you just want to devour large quantities, this might be the place for you. Greece is different.

Update: November 2025: Fries: Crispy and plentiful. Tzatziki: Generous and homemade! Meat: Large gyro pieces from the spit, crispy and juicy. Tender kebabs and deliciously seasoned minced steaks. Regular Coke ~ €50 for 2 people

I've known Rhodos for almost twenty years, ever since I first vacationed in North Frisia. I went there again today, on a whim, it was the weekend, I hadn't made a reservation... but it worked out. The service is very attentive and consistently friendly. You don't have to wait long for drinks or food, and there's no downtime where you have to wait forever to order another drink. The selection is actually quite large, yet somewhat limited. The selection of "Greek dishes" is a bit small, in particular. But that's not meant as a criticism; I'm sure everyone will find something they like—and ultimately leave satisfied. The portions are quite generous, and the value for money is excellent! They accommodate small special requests without complaint and implement them without any problems. So, if you're in the mood for Greek cuisine, you can confidently go here. I would recommend making a reservation.

The food was okay. The two waitresses weren't paying attention and, by the time we walked in, had already forgotten what we'd said a minute earlier. Therefore, the wait for the bill was far too long – unfortunately, it didn't include ouzo. They're apparently out of business.

I was really looking forward to the Greek restaurant. We were on vacation there, wanted to celebrate our anniversary with my girlfriend, and were unfortunately disappointed. The meat was very dry and the fries were rock hard. :(

We were coming from the car train and wanted to go out to dinner in Niebüll on Tuesday evening. The Greek restaurant was fully booked, so we'd go to Niebüll on Tuesday. After a short wait, we were seated, received friendly service, and the value for money was excellent, and the portions were so large that you couldn't finish them. An absolute recommendation: super delicious, friendly, and reasonably priced, too. We'll be back.

Suitable for groups or families with children, especially since it's outdoors. There's a slide and swing to keep kids entertained. The food is solid, and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly but sometimes overwhelmed. To be fair, though, it's almost always full. Be sure to make a reservation!

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Taverne Rhodos in Niebüll. I've rarely eaten such a good gyro, and my companions' other grilled dishes were also excellent. But what rounded it all off noticeably was the service. Super friendly, they regularly asked if everything was OK and if there was anything missing. As soon as the bread ran out, they brought more without hesitation. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We'd be happy to come back next time we're in the area.

The first time we came without a reservation, and the place was packed. Unfortunately, we didn't get a table; everything was taken. Instead, we were offered a table in the waiting area, which we politely declined. But at least it was an offer. On the second attempt, we reserved a table by phone. Once we got there, we were greeted warmly and our drink order was taken straight away. The Coke definitely needed more carbonation, and the first beer was unfortunately a bit warm. But oh well. As the evening progressed, however, things changed for the better. Our food order was taken, and the food arrived extremely quickly. The portions were also huge and very tasty. All in all, it was a very good visit with an international flair, as there were English- and Danish-speaking guests present. Coupled with the owner's Greek, there was plenty of variety. There's even a Danish menu for Danish guests. A very good restaurant which serves very good food in keeping with the ambience and is very good value for money.

Today we ate at Taverna Rhodes and were definitely not disappointed. Greeted by the super friendly service, we went into the great outdoor area. The order was taken quickly and the food was there after about 10 minutes. The food was super delicious. 😋 The meat was grilled to perfection. My wife's turkey fillet in particular was perfect and a large piece at that. 👍🏻 My Paris plate was also super good and a very good portion. Great respect also for the kitchen. We'll definitely be back. 😁✌🏻

Spontaneously with our family of 4 people. to eat. My whole family was actually happy. I chose the leg of lamb Stifado in a spicy sauce with onions, with salad. Salad good. 3 small pieces of leg of lamb in a ceramic baking dish with 750 ml gravy, 25 spring onions and 1 spoon. What's that supposed to mean? Stifado works differently. No one could eat that. Food went back. I order sea bream. Waited 40 minutes, sea bream comes, raw inside. Waitress says even the boss is cooking today. Please boss, don't cook anymore. Too bad. Service friendly, restaurant cozy. Parking spaces available.

We got takeaway for 4 people. Super nice service and the food would have been enough for 6. Super tasty and very fresh. The gyros are simply delicious. And then a bottle of ouzo too. This store is highly recommended!!!

Truly THE Greek in North Frisia. Always order bread with it.

If you go from the non-existent parking lot to the restaurant, you have to be careful not to visit the kitchen. Even in the heat, a fly screen door is an advantage and necessary. Once you're inside, we quickly notice why the place is so dark - you can pass the waiting time by dusting. Niko is at the table quickly but regular customers are still served food first. THE food is a matter of taste but burnt gyros are not my thing (the bean soup was ok but a bit bland and poorly seasoned), the service was friendly but quite blind to the dirty plate. A large party had already left for an hour and then the plates also left. Unfortunately, the first impression went wrong and I will no longer check whether anything has improved. Addendum to the review: A lot of money was spent on creating a nice restaurant (as of 04.25) but the food still hasn't arrived where the love for the look is.

Nico's Tavern is a family experience that you should be able to get involved in. Those who come more often will be recognized again and can look forward to particularly good service and funny conversations with the boss. The portions are larger than many would expect and are definitely filling. Nico and his staff are always friendly and in a good mood, which makes the experience even better. Extra wishes are respected and you can't say anything bad about the little ouzo at the end. The main area is very nicely designed, a bit dark and cramped for some perhaps, but I think it reflects Nico's warm and cozy nature, the outside area is beautiful in itself, but we rarely use it. For smokers who get cold quickly, there is also a separate room where you can sit and eat.

Always great, my favorite at Greek, beef liver here too, a large portion, unbeatable for the money.

After almost exactly a year, my wife and I were back in Rhodes today. My wife's steak was good, my grill plate "Paris" was also okay, unfortunately seasoned quite bland... Two pieces of the skewer were tough as rubber. Everything else was good to eat, but the prices had been increased and the quality of the entire food was too expensive in comparison. I find a 0.4l Spezi for 5 euros to be quite sporty. 51.50 euros for 2 main courses and 2 drinks are too much for the quality of the food. Nevertheless, it was a nice evening with very good service.

We are thrilled! Nicely decorated, very friendly and relaxed staff. The menu is very extensive, the portions are really big, and the prices are incredibly good. And we really enjoyed it too. It was a spontaneous visit that was definitely worth it. I haven't been this happy in a long time :)

Pita was much less as we know it, unfortunately. I would rather pay a euro more instead of being so disappointed. It used to be better 👌

Maximum average, gyros dry and lukewarm. Other types of meat burnt. Side dishes also not of particularly high quality. Complaint management inadequate, no recommendation.

We ate at the restaurant today. The rooms are very comfortable and the service staff is friendly. But we noticed a few things: It was the first and only Greek place we were at that didn't serve ouzo. We also had our leftover food packed up. The fries were supposed to be packed separately, but that didn't work. Unfortunately, half of our food wasn't given to us, we don't know why. Too bad.
