Das Ribeye-Steak war sehr gut, aber der Burger war furchtbar. Da es sich um ein Steakhaus handelt, ist das zwar verständlich, aber wir hätten uns gewünscht, das vorher gewusst zu haben.

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Die Kellner waren sehr schnell, professionel und sehr Freundlich. Gerne weiter empfehlen!

Die Bedienung war den gesamten Abend über äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Ein bezauberndes Lokal, in dem man köstliches Essen und exzellente Weine genießen kann. Der Service ist tadellos und sorgt für eine fantastische Atmosphäre im Restaurant. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

Ich probiere es zufällig mit meiner Frau aus. Aber wir finden ein sehr gemütliches Lokal mit außergewöhnlichen Steaks.

Die Atmosphäre ist fantastisch, eine gelungene Mischung aus gehoben und entspannt, und auch die Getränkeauswahl ist exzellent. Ein besonderes Lob an Ramzi, der den ganzen Abend über unglaublich herzlich und professionell war. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf gleichbleibende Qualität und exzellenten Service gelegt wird. Wir kommen seit sechs Jahren hierher und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Durchweg hervorragendes Essen, erstklassiger Service und eine großartige Atmosphäre – jedes Mal. Obwohl das Gebäude von außen auf den ersten Blick nicht einladend wirkt, ist es DER Ort für gutes Essen; ich kenne kein anderes Restaurant, in dem Fleisch so hervorragend zubereitet wird. Dazu werden sehr gute Weine serviert.

Es war in kulinarischer und atmosphärischer Hinsicht ein wunderbarer Abend am 03.05.2026. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ein gutes Filet Mignon gegessen!

Ich habe in dem Restaurant im Februar mit einer Freundin, meinen Geburtstag nachgefeiert. Als Vorspeise hatte sie eine Suppe und ich den Hummer mit Kartoffelschaum. Als Hauptspeise hatten wir beide das Filet mit Kartoffelpüree. Ich muss zum ersten Mal leider gestehen, dass mir ein Hummer nicht geschmeckt hat. Ich liebe Hummer und esse ihn so oft ich kann und es hat hier nicht geschmeckt. Was das Restaurant unter einem Kartoffelschaum versteht, war mir schleierhaft, denn ich habe kalte, schlecht gestampfte Kartoffel bekommen. Die Steaks waren leicht angebrannt, obwohl wir sie Englisch Medium bestellt hatten und das mitgelieferte Kartoffelpüree war der selbe, kalte Kartoffelstampf, den ich schon bei dem Hummer hatte. Ich habe insgesamt 230 € für das Essen bezahlt. Ich war maßlos enttäuscht, weil ich von einem Steakhouse erwarte, dass es weiß, wie man mit Fleisch umzugehen hat. Es war mein erster aber leider auch mein letzter Versuch.

Das Essen ist hervorragend, beste Qualität und das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam , nett und zuvorkommend. Ich kann es nur empfehlen 🤗

Klasse Steakhouse mit exzellentem Service.

Deutlich zu teuer für die Qualität, die man bekommt. Am Ende wurde uns direkt zu verstehen gegeben, dass man jetzt den Laden schließen möchte und es Zeit sei, zu gehen. Samstag gegen 2230. :))) Laden war so gut wie leer. Wir werden auch nicht wiederkommen.

We were brought to the table, our coats were taken away and we started straight away with advice on the aperitif. Then another waiter came with a plate of pieces of meat that were not on the menu today, the meat wrapped in foil, presented nicely, explained in detail, origin, taste, preparation, price. Wonderful. After the first sips of the aperitif, the menu came. We ordered, had special requests, it was a relaxed atmosphere and all questions were answered in a friendly manner and all wishes were fulfilled. The food was fantastic. There were three of us, we had fillet, ribeye and rump steak, side dishes, drinks and desserts. We were happy with everything, thrilled with the taste of the meat, the roasted flavors were intense and the sauces were restrained, emphasizing the taste rather than masking it. A great restaurant with a great atmosphere, spacious, you have space, you're not crammed in and you can have a good chat. The prices are absolutely justified, not exorbitant. We were under 400 including tips. Deserved 5 stars.

The two of us went to Black Bulls Steakhouse and had a truly excellent start: The appetizer platter for two was absolutely fantastic – a diverse mix of different specialties, all fresh, flavorful, and highly recommended. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the main course. I had the dry-aged ribeye (400g, €69.90). The meat that was shown to us beforehand looked significantly higher quality than what was ultimately served. The steak was a bit tough in places and not as consistently good as I would expect at this price. For almost €70, I expect a perfectly tender and top-notch ribeye. The side dishes were tasty, but could have been a bit more generous. The service was very friendly and attentive, and contributed positively to the evening – definite pluses. Overall value for money: satisfactory to good, but not entirely convincing. I've had better steaks for less. Nevertheless, a nice restaurant with excellent service and outstanding appetizers.

We had a lovely evening with business partners. The beef was cooked to perfection and truly excellent. The shrimp on the appetizer platter were unfortunately a bit dry. The price-performance ratio was on the high side, including the wine selection. The service could have been a little more attentive to our conversation.

This was the best steak I've had in Frankfurt. I've tried other steakhouses in the area, but this one is by far the best. The service is excellent and friendly.

We went there on the recommendation of the hotel. At first, everything was good; the waiter was nice and funny. We ordered drinks and later received the menus for the meals. The first waiter was otherwise very busy. The second waiter came over and wanted to take our order, but we weren't ready. He left, slightly annoyed. When we agreed, the annoyed waiter came back. We ordered the meat. He asked us what the side dish would be, but we didn't know because the first waiter had recommended a tomahawk for two people, and we thought it would come with side dishes. The second waiter actually said, "We've been looking at the menu for two hours and we still don't know what the side dish would be..." and he meant it completely seriously. In conclusion, waiters who make comments like that and always look at their watches to see when it's finally time to call it a night are in the wrong profession.

It was our first time there. There were four of us. The food was delicious. A tip for the meal with the three sauces: serve them in bowls. When we paid, we received a total bill. You should have asked who was paying for what beforehand. It didn't go down well that we had to work out who was paying for what ourselves.

Compared to M Steakhouse, this place was better. 😳. The snails, the meat, the extra seasonings for the meat—absolutely amazing. So why pay more at that other hyped-up place when you can sit outside and watch beautiful vintage cars drive by in the evening? Super friendly service 👍👏🤤

Wow. The Black Bulls is a culinary highlight. The filet mignon in a fiery, spicy spice coat is my absolute recommendation! We were very happy with everything, cooking levels were perfect, hot plates were served, very attentive and friendly staff. I would recommend a table reservation to be on the safe side.

I was a spontaneous guest at this restaurant, just spontaneously walking past without a reservation. The boss gave me a friendly welcome and had a nice table ready for me. The menu has something to offer for everyone and there is also a changing range of recommendations. I felt very comfortable during my stay and you can pay significantly more for this quality in this location. I'm very satisfied.

We expected a steak that is charcoal BBQ, but instead it was done on hot surface, the meat that touched the hot surface was cooked and the rest was not. Maybe because we are not German, my wife is Chinese and they thought we don’t know about food, as we normally dine at gourmet restaurants. But the staff was blind.

Not far from the Palmengarten, on the next corner is The Black Bulls Steakhouse. Here you get very good meat dishes that are very digestible.

Was there with a friend, very good steak, nice side dish. However, the waiter was a bit tight-lipped and couldn't say anything about the wine he could recommend with the meal and other tables were shown a platter with different types of steak to choose from, but not us.

Please refrain from such misleading actions. When we asked for the bill, the waiter brought us a receipt that looked like this. I wanted to add a tip but was told that the tip was already included in the amount. I found that very uncomfortable. Is it customary here for the staff to add a tip to the bill at their own discretion if you ask? And so cleverly that the amount and the tip are hidden by a stamp? The food was really excellent. However, I think it's a shame that graduating was such a negative experience. As far as I know, tips are determined by guests as a way to express their gratitude to the employees in a pleasant way. Please consider a better solution for this service concept.

The Black Bulls Steakhouse proves that the old saying of "you get what you pay for" is still true. My girlfriend and I had dinner including appetizers and spent just over 110€. But the food was amazing. And so was the service from the courteous, professional, and attentive staff. The atmosphere was upscale, yet cozy and we never felt out of place or underdressed. Highly recommended!

I have visited together with two colleagues from work and the black Bulls has a nice atmosphere. The prices are okay. It’s certainly cheaper than the M steakhouse which is just around the corner. The meat is of best quality the waiter presents you the options shows you the meat. There are multiple seafood options as well for the starters. I had dry aged ribeye and I must say rarely in my life have I eaten such a good steak. I will definitely visit again.

The food was absolutely delicious without exception. The steaks are a dream. Service attentive. The side dishes could have been a little more substantial, given the price... Overall, the ambience was pleasant, just a little drafty where we sat. We would come back, but only on special occasions due to the high prices.

Excellent steak restaurant. Very high quality food and very friendly staff. If you don't like it so salty, you should ask for a little salt on the steaks. The ambience is very nice, unfortunately not much on the corner, but only opposite seating options and therefore a bit of a deduction, but otherwise great... Very expensive in terms of price.

We simply waited 50 minutes for food and you expect good food, the meat was just very cold and dry, not recommended at all.

A 10% tip is automatically added, but there is no shortage of food and The service was perfect. I ordered an extra plate and the steak was warm enough to eat. You gave it to me.

Not cheap, but good. Focus on steaks 300-400 grams. It can also be heavier. Meat perfectly prepared and of good quality. Annoying: Steaks are “solo”, side dishes have to be ordered (for a fee). Our "waiter", and I can only judge this one, lacked a certain servility. I felt like he was gracious enough to tolerate us as (paying) guests. By the way: The steak knives on the table require a firearms license elsewhere... 😉😉

If you are looking for a good selection of stakes in Frankfurt, you have come to the right place. The service was courteous and the food was perfectly prepared. First of all we had a mixed platter with a very good tuna tartare. The chocolate mousse is a must for dessert.

Not big, stylishly decorated and a very attentive staff. The dishes are incredible. The meat is perfectly grilled, the side dishes and starters such as spinach, king prawns or the garlic potato puree round off a perfect meal in terms of taste. Top wine list and simply the perfect place for a special business dinner or dinner.

If you only order filet mignon it's ok, other meat is unfortunately hard/tough. Overall too expensive.

We asked for a menu to the waiter and they said it was not possible because the owner should be explaining the meat selection. The owner came and basically he managed an appetizer according to his own desire without option to choose our food. Same for main course he showed 4 pierces of meet and it didn’t look as we had other options. He forced to order wine as well with bottles that costs 15 euros were priced 80 eur . They tried to force dessert as well but we became wiser on the journey. No price was showed anywhere and we ended up in paying 620 eur in 5 person for appetizers and a 400 gr of average meat cooked with a lot of butter. Definitely not recommended

One word: they are just stealing your money. Overpriced bad cuisine is a classic in Westend, but I decided to write a little review because The Black Bulls is probably the worst in the art of food fraud 🤣 Picture that: Is a restaurant with menu published outside. You enter and you take your sit. A man arrives showing you a platter of classic steaks cut (raw and foil wrapped). They clearly have no clue about butcher’s cuts or beef breeds and ignore any questions going in that direction. No menu either. Without any other details this could be an average supermarket choice (a note to the reader from an italian immigrant such as the writer: local supermarket and open markets are quite equipped in Frankfurt for beef steak cuts). This will be of extreme importance later in the review: NO MENU. JUST PLATTER. Not just to me or to the group of japanese behind me that didn’t want any beef: NO ONE WAS ALLOWED TO CONSULT A MENU. I could observed all tables after mine completing their order: the man clearly forced each and every table to pick from this creepy platter of foil wrapped cut. Including the two japanese ladies that didn’t want ant beef. I know I am repeating myself. Anyway. You order a “New York Dry Age Steak”. An absolutely normal cut that you can find in the local supermarket (called “Rewe”). You recall “45€” from the menu published outside (price that was lifted from 38€ vs some years before. i attached an old pic). You order the dry age steak. It arrives. You eat. You go and pay. I attached the bill with a couple of funny details. The waiter at the speed of light adds 10% of automatic tip and stamp it over to conceal his greediness. At my stern interrogation on why he may have done so he answers “tip is already included sir, don’t worry” (you think: “I guess this works in making turist assumes that this is the common practice here”). But that’s not the interesting part of the bill The already overpriced supermarket steaks is now chrged 51€… more than what you recall. You check the menu exposed outside: is still 45€. You enter again. You interrogate the waiters on the reasons and you receive the following answers: “45€ on the card, but 51€ from the plate”. Remember when I told you about the fact that no one was allowed to read the menu? Exactly… this was designed to stage the lucrative scheme. So now I wonder: 1) why the hell they didn’t charge those 12€ of margin across my bottle of water, potatoes and glass of wine like any normal dishonest restaurant? 2) I understand the fake tip of 6€: i hope it gets in the waiters pockets… but why, as a waiter, you do all this theatre to make your employer earn 6€ more on each steaks? Anyway: welcome in Westend, Frankfurt 🤣

It used to be really good...unfortunately not recommended at all anymore. Service tried very hard, but somehow overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is no longer the same as it used to be... Very disappointing...unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Wie immer sehr gut. Dry aged filet Mignon mit Pilzen und Kartoffel. Guter wein und sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Lediglich der Lautstärke Pegel war kurz etwas hoch aber es wurde sich darum gekümmert. Nichts zu bemängeln.

Food was amazing! Waiters were so kind and caring! BUT, they were missing organized way of working. The waitress asked for our dessert’s order, after a long time waiting, another waitress came and ask if we like to order dessert!!! We asked for bill to pay, they forgot us and we had to again remind them. Our table was next to window and draft of wind was so much which even could move the leaf of plants!! Generally, in this type of restaurant, the customer looks for a good service in addition to good food. There is still plenty of room for service improvement in this restaurant. Will we visit there again? YES, and hopefully we will get better organized service!

Das The Black Bulls ist weiterhin ein Garant in Frankfurt am Main wenn es um leckere Steaks geht. Anfang Dezember 2023 habe ich erneut ein wunderbares Mittagessen genossen. Der Service war wie eh und je sehr aufmerksam und der Fleischspieß hat ausgezeichnet gemundet. Auch in 2024 werde ich wieder das Restaurant in der Bockenheimer Landstraße besuchen!

Sehr schönes Ambiente, gehobene Preisklasse aber durchaus gerechtfertigt. Durch unglückliche Umstände und ohne Reservierung angefragt und man hat uns kurzfristig mit sechs Personen einen wunderschönen Abend ermöglicht. Danke dafür!!!

It was good to go to once. I was in the area and walked by, and I was able to be seated immediately. I was by myself, not sure if that was what impacted the experience, but the server seemed to be more interested in tables with more people. The food was good but not super memorable. Nice presentation, though.

Wir waren gestern Abend dort und ich muss sagen die Location und vor allem der Service war top. Hier wird man super gut beraten und alle mitarbeiten sind sehr sehr freundlich. Das Steak und die Vorspeise waren auch lecker.

Das Black Bulls sagt uns vorallem - natürlich neben dem guten Essen - aufgrund seines angenehmen Ambientes zu. Das Restaurant ist stylisch eingerichtet und das leicht gedämmte Licht lässt eine gemütliche Stimmung aufkommen. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist gut, das Fleisch wird genau so zubereitet, wie man es bestellt - raw, medium, well-done. Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Parkplatzsituation gestaltet sich, entsprechend dem Frankfurter Westend mit den zahlreichen Anwohnerparkplätzen, etwas schwierig, aber händelbar.
