This is an Argentinian Steakhouse restaurant. The service was the best I have received in a very long time. Waiters were very quick and responsive. The drinks, dinner and dessert arrived very quickly to my table. Something I really enjoyed about Buffalo Steakhouse was the possibility to order a steak at any size. I got 500grams of tenderloin, that was very nice. For dessert I got the chocolate suffle. - The custom size big steak showed prominently on the bill, that came to 98euro, but was worth every cent💪🏻🦖

This place rips you off if you look like a person who's on business trip or just a rich Foreigner. The waiter was very helpful and nice and the food was okay. As me and my friends was going to pay and gathered and totalled out amount, all of a sudden someone who looks in charge(I'm not sure a manager or a owner) comes at our table and tells that he will count and total our bill( take note: we weren't done completing and still calculating to add tip). After which he start getting in our faces and says " in Germany you have to pay TIP 10-12% of total bill." He was very aggresive and claims that it is a must and law in Germany. We spoke German and 3 in our table lived in Germany for more than 5 years and I my self lived for 3 years and never heard this kind of demand in Germany or this kind or service in my life. The end my mood was ruined and had a very bad experience and never wanna go back. Plus after an arguement and at this point I just wanted him to leave us and be on our way, he asks where are we from(he is judgemental towards a race at this point). What kind of restaurant will do these things and it wasn't cheap either.

A nice steakhouse in downtown Frankfurt. The main dish is pure meat! lol The most important part is the meat, which is exquisite in both taste and doneness, and the staff is extremely friendly. This popular store with a wide selection of wines is always crowded. Highly recommended for steak lovers!

Had dinner at the Buffalo Steakhouse today with friends for about 15 years. Meat was great. Well fried. Salad, whether seleri or beetroot, disappointingly prepared. But that's not what my review is about. 2 things really annoyed me that evening. 1. The owner (managing director) joins our conversation without asking and after a few funny words back and forth, shows me the middle finger for fun. I took it with humor, but that's not appropriate. Who does he think he is and who he has in front of him? 2. We had to wait 1.5 hours for 4 steaks. And they were put off with the cheeky excuse that they had to clean the grill during service (two hours before closing time). It's funny that the neighbor's table gets his food. If the truth had been spoken here, I wouldn't have been so blatant. But with a bill of 240 euros, you can give the guest a little respect. Definitely the last time for me and I will advise every friend against it. No apologies, no overpriced espresso on the house, nothing. Lies have short legs.

Great place for steak with plenty of choice.

I’ve been eating here every time I’m in Frankfurt and I always book table. Today I called the restaurant to book a table and person said for one person I don’t need to book and also it’s public holiday they are not busy. I said ok I’ll come later and I went there 1800pm and they are saying they are fully booked but I can have a table for 1 hour. I told them what I’ve been told they staff on the phone but he didn’t cared and said they don’t have a table. It was very rude of him and I never had issues before management and some other staff member are very friendly and good food but that waiter had attitude and it wasn’t nice at all…

Frozen fries or potato wedges are an absolute no-go for a good steak house! Given the prices you can expect fresh potatoes. Overall, there are better steakhouses in Frankfurt.

Today I was there for the first time and can only recommend it. The staff is very friendly, the selection and quality of the food leaves nothing to be desired. Only very loud when it's full.

Unfortunately we forgot to take photos because the food was so delicious. The service was super friendly, quick and warm. The steak was on point and I would have liked to eat another one. The prices are reasonable. I'm already looking forward to the next time. We would go there just for the steak sauce.

All the experience was perfect. Very good steaks, salad and shrimps. Beer very cold. Desert, ice cream! The waiter was very attentive, helpful and frendly.

Classic when it comes to good steaks in Frankfurt. Nice ambience with a cozy outdoor area near the Fressgass. Colorfully mixed audience. Very pleasant and friendly service. We had steaks with fries and beforehand the delicious garlic bread. The open wines are a bit expensive. We had the Argentinian Carbernet Sauvignon with it. From 10 p.m. onwards, the restaurant clears out guests relatively quickly. We always enjoy coming here.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times. Were always satisfied. Today we came a little earlier and asked an employee if they were open. Wir haben mehrmals mit der Familie in diesem Restaurant gegessen. Waren immer zufrieden. Heute sind wir etwas früher gekommen und haben bei einem Mitarbeiter gefragt ob die offen sind. Die Antwort war so unhöflich und fresh dass wir entschieden haben wo anders zu essen. Er hat gesagt " geh spazieren und komm später'ohne uns mal in die Augen zu sehen. Also schlimmer gibt es nicht. Hier müssen die erst lernen zu den Kunden höflich zu sein dann können neu Kunden gewinnen. Mit so einer Art und Weise werden sie treue Kunden verlieren.

Der Kellner (Chef?) drängt zum Konsum und räumt ab, bevor alle fertig sind. Trotz alledem beendet er seinen Betrug beim Bezahlen, indem er ein Trinkgeld mit einem bedrohlichen Blick verlangt. Wenn Sie einen angenehmen Abend verbringen möchten, gehen Sie 100 Meter weiter.

The food and the waiters were great. We didn't have a reservation and we went to dinner at rush hour and they still gave us a table. The atmosphere was a little stuffy because it was completely full and people were talking quite loudly, difficult to have a conversation at dinner. Had dinner there with my daughter at the weekend. The food was good, I had a rump steak 300g. What I noticed negatively was that my food wasn't even nicely decorated, after all the price was quite high. We had reserved a table for a work event. Without a reservation it is not advisable to go there with several people as there are relatively few places. It's a bit off the beaten track on a side street. I personally didn't think it was that nice, but the inside had a rustic charm. The food is consistently very good and our steaks were cooked to perfection. The price is in the upper segment, but given the quality it is quite reasonable. So if you want to eat very good steaks, a clear recommendation. But for more ambience I would give preference to other houses.

For me best steakhouse in Frankfurt. If you are especially hungry there is an option to decide how many grams of steak you want. A good selection of wine. Staff is very attentive and nice. We came with our rather big baby car, but the staff found a good solution, even though we didn't tell in advance. Ordered food comes quickly. Prices are moderate. There are cheaper places, but so is the quality. Complimentary selfmade sauce, that you can buy to take home. A little to big for my liking though. The atmosphere is a good mix of fancyness and cozy casualness. Few to no parking spots at the restaurant, but a big parking lot within less than 5 minutes by foot.

Ich war mittags da und es war komplett voll, man sagte mir ich solle in einer halben Stunde wieder kommen und da habe ich auxb dann sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Ich habe als Vorspeise die Zwiebelsuppe bestellt und die war sehr lecker. Als Hauptgang 300g Hüftsteak Medium. Das Fleisch war sehr lecker und auf den Punkt perfekt gemacht. Es lies sich wie Butter schneiden. Komme aufjedenfall wieder.

One of the better steakhouse in the center of Frankfurt. Best make a reservation of you’re going during lunch and dinner hours. Was there at 230pm and the restaurant was still quite full. The sirloin is really good and the grilled onions go really well with the steak. The ribeye was good too but was slightly fibrous. Well worth a trip down if you’re in the city.

Immediately next to the time-honored apple wine restaurant on Schweizer Strasse is this design steakhouse, which has a sister house in Offenbach on Wilhelmsplatz. The atmosphere is modern with muted colors, enough space at the table. The quality of the meat on offer is excellent, there are Allgäu, US and Argentinian steaks in various variations as well as some specialties. I had a New York strip rum steak in a spicy herb layer. The service is professional, but the advice is a bit monosyllabic. The owner works in service himself and explained the history of the house well. Overall, my best impression of a steakhouse so far in Sachsenhausen.

My husband and I reserved a table in this restaurant and our overall experience was horrendous and mediocre. First, the waiter guided us to our table and simply left, and did not ask whether we wanted anything to drink. Despite this we sat and decided to look at the menu thinking he was just really busy at the moment and would return. However, he did not even though we were finished looking at the menu. My husband had to flag him down to let him know we were ready to order and that we would like to have something to drink. Anyways, my food arrived which was steak (filet) and fries and I was appalled by what was brought before me. There were no garnishes, no mushrooms or dip for the fries, not even a small stick of garlic butter, literally NOTHING. I've been to other steakhouses where great effort was placed on presentation and the food was great and not as overpriced. We even had to ask the waiter to provide Ketchup or mayo. He apparently had no issue asking others around us if everything was fine but did not once came over to ask us the same. I don't know why on earth anyone would rate highly or even suggest this restaurant. There is no way people should be paying this amount for a meal that is presented like food from the streets of a third world country. On top of that really bad service from waiters. In summary, management needs to hire persons who are polite and hospitable as well as place effort in the way food is presented. Definitely would NOT recommend!!!

No matter when you call and want to make a reservation: everything is full, we don't have a table. The person on the phone was already annoyed and didn't feel like talking. I was too stupid to ask the incompetent person on the phone after a day when something would be available!

You should always make a reservation. We like to go on Saturdays between the rush. It's pleasantly quiet there and you can always find a place. The steak is probably one of the best in Frankfurt! The staff is unique, but once you get to know the ladies and gentlemen better, you learn to love them. Mutual respect and appreciation are thanked and rewarded. For the kids there is a mega minced steak with fries - unique in the city!

Even though at first we were disappointed because of a mistake in our reservation the staff made sure to take care of us. They gave us a table at a later time and gave us a complimentary glass of champagne and gave my girl a rose for Valentine’s Day. It was also probably the best service I’ve had in a restaurant in Germany. I appreciate that since in most places in Germany the service I’ve received as a foreigner has not been that amazing.

I was here with my girlfriend almost every week until the end of 2023 and loved it. From the food, service and the ambience. Today I only experienced bad things, which is why I will avoid the restaurant in the future: on the one hand, every employee "stares" at you throughout the entire stay, which was very unpleasant for me throughout, especially when eating. I was particularly looking forward to visiting Buffalo today (as usual) and it was the first time this year and unfortunately the very last time. The nice employees from our previous visits weren't there today, which may explain the poor service, but still doesn't give me a reason to eat my steak here.
