Ein sehr schönes Lokal mit toller Atmosphäre und köstlichem Essen. Das Personal ist sehr gut geschult und freundlich.

Der Service war hervorragend; die Bestellung wurde perfekt auf einem dampfend heißen Steinteller serviert, falls sie kalt werden sollte.

Ein wirklich großartiger Abend im Abacco’s Frankfurt / Druckwasserwerk. Das Ambiente ist mega – stilvoll, besonders und einfach etwas ganz Eigenes. Die Fleischqualität ist hervorragend, man merkt sofort, dass hier mit sehr viel Anspruch gearbeitet wird. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und kompetent. Man wird sehr gut beraten, ohne dass es aufdringlich wirkt. An dieser Stelle ganz liebe Grüße an Boris, der den Abend perfekt begleitet hat. Ich hatte das argentinische Filet groß, rare. Rare bedeutet natürlich sehr roh – der Kern war mir persönlich einen Tick zu kalt, aber das ist wirklich Jammern auf hohem Niveau und tut dem Gesamteindruck keinen Abbruch. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis, absolut empfehlenswert und definitiv einen Besuch wert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

When this place was suggested to me, I was initially very skeptical as a vegetarian, but the side dishes, which were constantly replenished without me even having to ask, were simply irresistible. The price-performance ratio is more than fair. I would like to highlight the excellent service from Barish, who was very friendly, professional, and attentive. A very pleasant atmosphere.

I can't say anything about the food. I didn't get very far. After waiting 15 minutes for the menu, the waitress told me to go inside. I'd get the menu and assigned a seat. Considering the prices, the service could be friendlier.

I ordered chicken breast fillet and was absolutely disappointed. It was served like a steak on a hot plate, so you had to cut and fry it yourself – a concept that, in my opinion, is completely unsuitable for chicken. I wasn't informed about this concept before ordering. Immediately after receiving my dish, I asked the kitchen to cook the chicken thoroughly. However, this request was denied – as if there were no kitchen... The meat was neither marinated nor seasoned, tasted nothing after cooking, and quickly became dry and unappealing. Finally, I wanted to pay. I waited for almost 10 minutes, but no one came. Finally, I went to the counter to pay myself. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Anyone who thinks a steak concept can simply be applied to chicken should think again.

Very nice interior design and a historic building. Due to the height of the room, it's a bit noisy, but it fits the ambiance. The air extraction is good. Due to the way the steaks are prepared, there's often a strong grill smell in the room. But everything's okay, you have to do it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and they cater to all requests. Fast service.

If you want to eat delicious meat, this is the place to go. You cook your meat on a hot stone plate yourself at the table. The meals are for sure on the more pricey side, but the whole evening was a really nice experience. Free parking is possible in front of the restaurant or in the nearby car park (paid).

Great location inside an old factory. All steaks are brought raw and ypu cook them on a hot lava stone. Best thing ia when the stone gets cold, they bring you a warm one. The meat quality was great! I took 450 grams Steak. Strongly recommend it!

Druckwasserwerk Steakhouse – A steak experience with small drawbacks The Druckwasserwerk Steakhouse offers an exceptional culinary experience in a stylish ambience. I was particularly impressed by the concept of the hot plate, on which the steak itself can be further cooked - a great way to individually determine the perfect cooking level. The meat was of excellent quality, juicy and tasted excellent. The side dishes were fresh, well balanced and rounded off the dish harmoniously. Another highlight was the coffee, which definitely left an impression with its intense strength - a pleasure for coffee lovers, perhaps a little too strong for some. However, there are also small points of criticism that slightly cloud the overall picture. The knives weren't particularly sharp, which made cutting the steak unnecessarily difficult - a detail that shouldn't be underestimated in a steakhouse. A small improvement would be desirable here to round off the enjoyment experience. Overall, the Druckwasserwerk Steakhouse is a recommended address for steak lovers who like to cook their meat individually. However, due to the small weaknesses, it's not quite enough for me to get a top rating. I give it a well-deserved 3.5 out of 5 stars - with potential for improvement if the details are further refined. Conclusion: ✔️ Great concept with the hot plate ✔️ Excellent meat quality and taste ✔️ Strong coffee – a matter of taste ❌ Knives could be sharper ❌ Some details could still be improved Would I come back? There are actually very few positive things, the steaks are rather average but expensive, the atmosphere is more like a large canteen, the only bright spot was the service, which was really great. There are competitors who are cheaper and definitely better. By the way, I expect you to say hello back when someone greets you. This is especially true for the strong gentleman who welcomed us at the entrance.

Very good food, pretty good prices and great service. Only thing was, I didn't realise you get fries automatically with your steak until after I ordered an extra serving of steamed potatoes. They're listed as "Fritten €0,00" which I obviously misunderstood as "you get fries with your steak for free".

Good meat but also vegetarians will be satisfied. The staff are attentive and if you don't have any problems with the noise level of the trains, sitting outside is pleasant.

The location is beautiful, but the service is impossible. The tables are set in record time with simple placemats and cards. After that, the service goes aww. The staff doesn't know the menu and then you can't get the drinks you want. What is that supposed to be, hence a star. Personnel definitely need to be trained for this category.

This is no longer the Druckwasserwerk restaurant you’ll read about in guidebooks. It is now a higher end steak house featuring beef from the US and Argentina. Very good food and wine list. Conscientious service. Two of us split a Caesar salad and medium size steak and a couple glasses of wine each. $100US.

Unfortunately the service was a little overwhelmed that day, but the quality of the food and value for money are still perfectly fine and the ambience is very nice, even if it is a bit loud.

We were in the restaurant on the evening of April 23rd, 2024 and it was simply miserable!!! Only decoration looked good. Staff were overwhelmed and sometimes rude or had no manners. In order for the waiter to pass, we had to get up every time until we suggested changing tables. There were a few customers who left without ordering. Our waiter was the colleague with tattoos and earrings - we ordered - after 65 minutes only 1 steak came... He said the rest would come. My companion finished eating and my order never came - every time he says the same thing... Then I canceled my order. In return he says "ok then I'll cancel" without apology or explanation. When I paid I complained again then he said the kitchen wasn't fully staffed and there was nothing we could do about it... Service 0 out of 10 still seen For the price and the waiting time, the food was miserable. Never again Worst idea. Luckily I advised all my colleagues not to go Simply embarrassing NEVER AGAIN !

I love this place and the food always satisfies. You can cook your steak just the way you want it. Only reason im giving 4 stars for service is the waiter took forever to tend to us after we received our food. Other than that, I highly recommend this place for steak lovers.

Walldorf salad with brown edges, horseradish sauce very tasty but comes with the skin, spinach not even lukewarm, good steak but unfortunately oversalted (why?) Mayo never made it to me... The only bright spot was the ice-cold 0.33 Coke from the Glass bottle. It was my first visit, I won't be back, it's a shame...

Beautiful place and atmosphere to have a convivial evening meal with friends. Truly a real surprise in Francofonte. The only negative note is the peripheral place near the station but not very pleasant to reach on foot. However, I would definitely go back because I felt really good and at ease in this place. The gastronomic offer is also focused on quality meats and cuts composed with absolutely well-prepared and unmissable side dishes.

That was our second visit there yesterday. Last October for the first time and now yesterday. After a great first time, yesterday was a bit of a letdown. When we arrived we waited 5 minutes to be seated. Waited an hour for food after ordering. A re-ordered hot stone only came to the table after repeated requests. The drinks we ordered didn't come at all. Very unfortunate.

We were at Abaccos for the second time (with a reservation) after we really enjoyed it the first time. Unfortunately the choice of places wasn't the best, there was a pull from all sides. Since we made a quick decision, there was only one reservation available at 5:15 p.m. or from 8:30 p.m., we chose 5:15 p.m. and were told right away when we made the reservation that we only had until 7:00 p.m. and then the place have to vacate. The restaurant was absolutely empty at that time. The drinks took a long time to arrive, the Prosecco was warm and different waitresses were constantly running to us. The starter came relatively quickly and was OK too. We had to wait for the different steaks but still thought it was OK. Unfortunately we haven't started eating yet, the plates were cold and the meat couldn't be cooked anymore. In total we had to order 3 new plates for our 200 and 300 gram steaks! The side dishes were lukewarm. The offer of DRÜ desserts was NOT taken into account on the bill and when we asked, the response was disinterested and as if we didn't understand us. A great location was chosen for this birthday dinner, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't actually worth a star!

The starter salad was garnished with ice-cold and therefore tasteless tomatoes. The volume of the dressing could only be guessed at. After ordering drinks, which unfortunately didn't arrive, we asked the nice waiter: We had run out of glasses!? It was endlessly drafty and of course you smelled like a barbecue. Never again!

Delicious steaks, fries and top dips to eat (reorders are free, except for the steaks of course). Great, appealing atmosphere. WE RECOMMEND!!!

I went there for my wife's birthday. The steak on the stone plate was so delicious, and the homemade butter on top of the meat was especially exquisite. (For reference, you can add a stone plate. If you feel it has cooled down a bit, ask for more~👍) After eating, the view of the Main River right in front of you will open your mind. It's a place worth going with your loved one. Rustikal eingerichtet, freundliche Bedienung. Steaks auf heißem Stein serviert, man kann selbst entscheiden wie man das Steak essen möchte.

Das Restaurant ist leider relativ kalt und leicht zugig. Vor allem wenn man früh am Abend eintrifft und der Raum nicht durch viele Gäste "aufheizt". Ich hab anfangs schon leicht gefroren. Und das bei Außentemperaturen um 5 Grad- wir ist es im Winter? Das Essen war Klasse. US Filet war Butterzart. Man muss es halt am Tisch individuell garen. Hat so ein bisschen was von Raclette. Da muss man mögen. Da Capacio war lecker, die Desserts in Ordnung. Aber nicht herausragend. Der Service war zwar nett, aber dennoch mau. Um Getränke nachzubestellen musste man den Ober herbeirufen. Trinkgeld wird automatisch auf die Rechnung geschrieben... Sind wir denn in den Staaten? Das finde ich schon ....*naja* >100 Euro p.P. ... Dafür erwarte ich etwas mehr. P/L für die Qualität "noch OK... " Ob ich wiederkomme? Hmmm,.. evtl wenn es Richtung Sommer geht.
