We were lucky enough to spontaneously get a table for 7 people (recommended after visiting the zoo (Röhnstrasse exit)) and what can I say, it was super tasty *.* gluten-free was absolutely no problem. And everyone there was super nice.. I would eat here again and again :)

The waiter was incredibly nice and accommodating. There was bread on the house and the food was very tasty. Vegetarian dishes can be found mainly in the starters, which were very tasty. Card payment is possible. We'd love to come back!

The owner is not only pretty and lovely, but also extremely talkative. Since we had to go to the airport, she actively helped us pack the dishes that had already been served and gave us comfort that our flight would not cause any problems. What was even more amazing was that she even spoke some Chinese, which really surprised and delighted us. Hopefully you enjoy reading this too.

Wow wow wow! When you look at this restaurant from the outside, you don't expect the delicious and varied cuisine that is offered here. There were two of us here, we had the appetizer platter for two people (which was absolutely amazing) and then a seafood platter for two people. I have rarely eaten such delicious food in Frankfurt. Steakhouse really doesn't do the restaurant justice. If you want good Mediterranean cuisine, you're in great hands here. In addition, the service is excellent and really friendly!

Food was bad, but the conditions were nice, there were four of us eating there, And got a bad steak.

Terrific ! We were served quickly and very friendly. The food and drinks really tasted good and we were full. Recommendation: Homemade garlic bread as a starter. The only point of criticism would be that all side dishes cost extra with the steak, including sauces, fries, etc. But that doesn't detract from the 5-star overall impression.

That was a pleasant surprise. We spontaneously went there for dinner. Super nice reception, called shortly beforehand and reserved a table just to be on the safe side. Very nice staff and a nice owner. Then the big surprise... starter platter for 2 is enough for 4. Then the main course... perfect steak in a hot pan!!! All in all it was a great evening. Thanks for that.

Because of the good reviews, we took a detour to eat a steak here. The very friendly waitress brought us to the table and our order was taken quickly and professionally. First came our salad, which was very unimaginative and basic. Then came our steaks and my pepper sauce - if you can call it that. It was completely spice and tasteless brown goo with peppercorns. My fries were forgotten, but arrived very quickly - and of course raw. My steak was completely streaked with tendon, tasteless and 50% inedible. Normally I rarely give bad reviews, but it was so bad for the price/performance ratio that I have to mention it too.

We found this great, cozy restaurant just a couple blocks from our hotel, and really enjoyed it. Most tables were full, but the staff found a small table for us tucked in a corner near a large group celebrating a birthday, which we really appreciated. I had a steak and baked potato, and my husband had chicken medallions with rice and fries. Both were excellent. My steak was a bit rare for me, but the flavor was great. My husband really enjoyed the draft beer, as well, and I had a nice red wine.

I had a wonderful experience in El Nigo last Saturday. Super friendly staff and delicious food, from starters to main courses, especially beefsteak and the homemade sauce with rolls. I would definitely like to come back.

Today we ordered boiled beef with horseradish sauce according to the menu, and what was delivered was completely ready-made, cheap meat, definitely not boiled beef drowned in olive oil!!!!! with horseradish on top and grilled vegetables with exactly 4 quarter pieces of potato from the pan, also soaked in olive oil. When we complained that there was no horseradish sauce, the sauce was brought, we then asked that the olive oil be poured out (because horseradish sauce in a lot of olive oil is just yuck) we got an answer from the waitress (who had already done so We were apparently overwhelmed by the intake of water and a beer (had to ask 3 times what they wanted) so we should look for another restaurant, which we gratefully accepted. If you want to cook German and can't do it, you should leave it alone or write what you serve on the menu. 👎

Just perfect! Super attentive and friendly service. Pleasant and quiet atmosphere. Constantly surrounded by the most delicious smells that whet your appetite for food. And as you can see, it is absolutely not an understatement! The most tender steak and asparagus that simply tastes nutty. The bacon-wrapped dates could have been used as a dessert instead of an appetizer, they were so sweet and tasty.

Everything is just PERFECT here!!! 😊

I was staying nearby and found this restaurant on google. Super pleasant atmosphere, the staff is very friendly. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy and tasty. Potatoes and sopska salad as side also excellent. With a glass of beer, a perfect dinner for not a high price. Absolute recommendations to visit them.

Simple but cozy furnishings. Incredibly friendly waitress and waiter. The grill plate was amazing! Juicy, well-seasoned and perfectly grilled meat, delicious fries and crunchy vegetables. Plus the house-made bread with a tasty barbecue sauce. All in all - a discovery! We will be back!

We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday at El Nigo on March 8th. I was there for the first time since it reopened and was completely amazed. Inside is a little more modern than before, the sideboards are from the 80s, ultra-modern on the wooden boards. As with its predecessor, the meat quality is great, the pork skewers were juicy and the lamb and beef were cooked perfectly. We also had the large appetizer platter, which really offered a large selection of delicacies. The parfait at the end was the crowning glory. The entire service is also excellent, you can always come to our table: is everything OK, does it taste good, do you need something very, very beneficial.
