El Nigo Steakhouse in Frankfurt am Main

We were there yesterday on New Year's Eve and enjoyed the New Year's Eve menu. A small, charming place that we immediately loved. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and friendly; you feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, a true 10/10 from the appetizer to the dessert. Everything was simply wonderful and tasty, especially the steak 😍. There was also such a delicious vegetarian dip with homemade bread – a flavor explosion!! We especially appreciated the personal greetings; everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and sincerely hope that this wonderful place will be around for a long time to come. ✨🍽️

The meat was top quality – cooked perfectly medium – the homemade chimichurri was delicious – the tasty bread seemed homemade (I didn't ask, unfortunately) – and the side dishes were very flavorful. My wife and I spontaneously decided to eat here today. The service was warm and attentive, and the steaks were very good. The truffle purée was a bit bland, but El Nigo is definitely worth a visit.

We arrived relatively late, at 1:45 pm, and received a very friendly welcome. The service was great and fast – absolutely excellent! And the food was fantastic. The price-performance ratio is perfect. We'll definitely be back for another meal.

The food is not the tastiest, the potatoes are unevenly cooked, some are raw, but the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We went in early August and it was very quiet. We got a variety of meats with steaks and chicken like a souvlaki, very well cooked with very nice grilled vegetables! The price was a bit steep but the food was delicious. Fortunately that day there were no people and we enjoyed the outside area of the shop. Of course, like many shops in Germany, they did not accept POS and wanted cash, so be prepared (we had been there before and they accepted cards in the past, which would have given it another star if it had existed)

I took two minced steaks home with me, and the portions were decent. Unfortunately, I didn't see or taste much of the feta cheese, and the dish didn't come with a small side salad. For €38, the bread was delicious.

The service was excellent – friendly, fast, and professional. But the real highlight was the food: absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

Quiet, tree lined street across from the zoo, but near train station and shops. We shared a mixed plate appetizer, which included lamb chops, chicken skewers, fries, olives, cheese, bacon wrapped dates, and a few more items. We were so stuffed…and then came our main courses, lol! Ribeye, rump steak, chicken schnitzel, all generous portions. They suggest medium on the steak. If you’re used to medium rare like I am, I would suggest asking for medium rare, as they served the ribeye on a sizzling pan, so of course it kept cooking. Delicious though:) Also had their draft Pilsner, which was great. Very friendly service staff.

The staff was friendly. The lady who took our order smiled brightly and listened to us calmly even though we didn't speak English very well. The meat was chewy and tender, and the French fries we ordered with it were very crispy. If I have the chance, I would like to visit this restaurant again when I come to Frankfurt again.

The food is really worth every euro cent spent - I haven't eaten anything so delicious for a long time, especially from the grill. Everything was perfectly cooked, with great taste and aroma. We were lucky enough to spontaneously get a table for 7 people (recommended after visiting the zoo (Röhnstrasse exit)) and what can I say, it was super tasty *.* gluten-free was absolutely no problem. And everyone there was super nice.. I would eat here again and again :)

Wow wow wow! When you look at this restaurant from the outside, you don't expect the delicious and varied cuisine that is offered here. There were two of us here, we had the appetizer platter for two people (which was absolutely amazing) and then a seafood platter for two people. I have rarely eaten such delicious food in Frankfurt. Steakhouse really doesn't do the restaurant justice. If you want good Mediterranean cuisine, you're in great hands here. In addition, the service is excellent and really friendly!

Terrific ! We were served quickly and very friendly. The food and drinks really tasted good and we were full. Recommendation: Homemade garlic bread as a starter. The only point of criticism would be that all side dishes cost extra with the steak, including sauces, fries, etc. But that doesn't detract from the 5-star overall impression.

Because of the good reviews, we took a detour to eat a steak here. The very friendly waitress brought us to the table and our order was taken quickly and professionally. First came our salad, which was very unimaginative and basic. Then came our steaks and my pepper sauce - if you can call it that. It was completely spice and tasteless brown goo with peppercorns. My fries were forgotten, but arrived very quickly - and of course raw. My steak was completely streaked with tendon, tasteless and 50% inedible. Normally I rarely give bad reviews, but it was so bad for the price/performance ratio that I have to mention it too.

We found this great, cozy restaurant just a couple blocks from our hotel, and really enjoyed it. Most tables were full, but the staff found a small table for us tucked in a corner near a large group celebrating a birthday, which we really appreciated. I had a steak and baked potato, and my husband had chicken medallions with rice and fries. Both were excellent. My steak was a bit rare for me, but the flavor was great. My husband really enjoyed the draft beer, as well, and I had a nice red wine.
