Absolut das Beste – eines der besten Restaurants im gesamten Kreis Recklinghausen! Und ich würde behaupten, ich habe wirklich schon fast alle guten Restaurants im Kreis ausprobiert. Mit großem Abstand ist dieses hier das Beste in Oer-Erkenschwick. Wer etwas anderes behauptet, den kann ich ehrlich gesagt nicht verstehen. Das Ambiente ist total modern und gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Alles ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert – man merkt sofort, wie viel Herzblut hier drinsteckt. Selbst an Valentinstag war das komplette Restaurant wunderschön geschmückt, überall rote Herzluftballons – einfach nur traumhaft! Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und super organisiert. Alles läuft flott und professionell, ohne dass es hektisch wirkt. Und das Essen? Einfach nur lecker! Besonders hervorzuheben sind die tollen Salatbuffets mit immer wechselnden, kreativen Varianten – absolut kein Standard. Dazu eine riesige Auswahl an Dressings, Ölen, Essig und Balsamico – hier bleibt wirklich kein Wunsch offen. Für mich wirklich ein herausragendes Restaurant. Einfach nur schön, unglaublich lecker und mit ganz viel Liebe geführt. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Das Restaurant, das Ambiente ist gemütlich und schön. Zum Service, kommt darauf an „wer“ gerade zum Tisch kommt. Wir haben vier Getränke bestellt aber es kamen dann nur drei. Zur Freundlichkeit…kommt auch darauf an „wer“ gerade zum Tisch kommt, ist halt echt unterschiedlich denn wie sagt man so schön, „ Der Ton macht die Musik“. Zum Essen, ja es schmeckt aber es ist nichts wirklich besonderes. Cevapcici, Cordon Blue und Co. bekommt man so auch in jeder guten Pommesbude. Dessert…Palatschinken…gekaufter aber (ganz schlimm) vor allem „kalter“ Teig, ein no Go! Anstatt den Teig in der Mikrowelle heiß zu machen, wird das Dessert wirklich komplett kalt serviert! Es gibt auch weder vorher noch nachher einen Julischka auf‘s Haus. Es war unser erster Besuch und gleichzeitig aber auch der Letzte!

An Weihnachten nicht zu empfehlen . Sonst ein super Restaurant , Qualität super ,Service super, Preise vollkommen Inordnung , Auswahl super aber Weihnachten waren wir sehr enttäuscht . Das es eine kleinere Karte gibt, vollkommen verständlich aber das war keine Auswahl. Preise extrem teurer als zur normalen Karte . Warum? Weil Weihnachten ist?! Nicht nachvollziehbar . Zu meinem Gericht gab es Kroketten , vorgebacken und in der Fritteuse erwärmt . Sie haben nach altem Fett geschmeckt . Sehr schade

Sehr gute und schnelle Bedienung, welche absolut weiss was sie tut. Aufgrund der Beliebtheit kann es je nach dem Gästen etwas lauter werden. Ansonsten uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Ein paar Meter weiter gibt es eine gute Parkmöglichkeit, wenn vor dem Haus nichts mehr frei sein sollte.

Es war ein schöner Abend mit Freundinnen. Das Schweinefilet das ich bestellt habe,war auf den Punkt gebraten und sehr lecker. Das Salatbuffet war auch top,sehr grosse Auswahl und cremigen Feta-Käse gab's auch,was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Den Service fande ich ein bisschen zurückhaltend, wenn man noch etwas bestellen wollte. Alles in allem ein schöner gelungener Abend.

Das ist mein Lieblingsrestaurant. Schöne, abwechslungsreiche Salatbar, super Qualität bei allem was man isst. Netter und angenehmer Service, keine lange Wartezeit, schönes Ambiente.

After more than 10 years I was in this restaurant again. It used to be the “Alt Oer”. I really liked the atmosphere. The menu is TOP and the daily menu is also impressive. The food we ordered tasted very good. Compliments to the kitchen. The service was also very friendly and what I particularly liked, in contrast to another restaurant visit in Düsseldorf last week. We were given time to empty our glasses. Many people probably know what I mean. I felt very comfortable with my companion in the Mediterranean steakhouse.

Very nice restaurant, unfortunately the food wasn't that good. Fries were oversalted, although that's a matter of taste, but we actually like eating salty. Unfortunately, the vegetarian plate for just under €20 won't fill you up and the vegetables were partly fresh and partly thawed. Since we unfortunately tasted it and saw from the potato pockets that they weren't homemade, we were of course surprised by the price. The meat was ok, but not great. We also found an ice cream with three mixed scoops and some cream for €8 to be quite expensive. Unfortunately we won't be coming back again, even though we liked the atmosphere.

We were there today, February 15th, 2025, on a recommendation and were given a very warm welcome! Although we didn't have a reservation, we were lucky enough to get a table as we were there just in time for opening. The reception and service were exceptionally friendly. People regularly asked if everything was OK, or they could draw attention to themselves through eye contact or hand signals. We were the couple with disabilities and were looked after particularly attentively by the waiter. He kindly asked us if we wanted the meat to be pre-cut - that was unusual for us, but a really nice and not at all intrusive gesture. A big THANK YOU again for that! We hope that people with disabilities will continue to be welcomed just as warmly in the future. A small note: Unfortunately, we were not told that a side dish could be chosen with every main course, but this was quickly clarified when we asked. The fries were a little too soft for my taste, but everything else - especially the grill plate - was delicious! We also really liked the atmosphere and were happy about this recommendation! Before I rated here, I read other reviews and can't understand the negative comments about the service - any more friendliness would really be "ass-kissing"! We'll be back! I think the restaurant is very good and the food is recommended. This is our second time here and we all enjoyed ourselves both times. I would definitely recommend it here👍🏻 it definitely gets a thumbs up from me. Only one thing is perhaps the parking situation... if we had arrived 5 minutes later, I don't think there would have been any free space and we would have had to park further away

We had a really cozy meal in a lovely atmosphere, everything was decorated for Valentine's Day. The food was tasty, sufficient and presented to the eye. All in all, value for money is right for me. We would be happy to come back.

Wow! 👍👍 We're amazed! Beautifully decorated today on Valentine's Day. At least now romance arises. You enter the restaurant with a happy smile. Here people have created a wonderful atmosphere for us guests. Heart balloons, love decorations and heart sweets! For just one day... The salad buffet is sensational. Endless selection, lovingly prepared salads, fresh and very tasty! The main course - we had cordon bleu and steak - was absolutely delicious. Great quality, great portions, fresh and a fantastic garlic sauce. The service - the boss himself - was extremely nice, friendly and interested in the guest. Decorated with love and cooked with love. We felt comfortable and welcome! We thank you, our Valentine's Day was perfect, thanks to you! ♥♥

Mega disappointment for Christmas My husband and I wanted to end the celebrations on Boxing Day with a nice dinner for two. After we had eaten surprisingly well and, above all, consistently well here several times in the previous months, we chose this restaurant. We were offered a time slot from 6pm to 9pm; reduced menu. So everything seemed perfect. But everything was completely different... Even now - a good 3 weeks later - I am still so disappointed and angry that I can only report in bullet points... Time slot: Despite the fixed time slot, there was a "flying" change, which meant that the tables were not set or not set correctly (our table was set for 4 people) and were only partially clean (grease residue under the placemat). Menu: That got us thinking… just beef soup or mushrooms as a starter. Main courses kept very simple: grilled plate, schnitzel, pork fillet, beef steaks, a fish dish, additionally various sauces, croquettes. As a side dish, salad from the buffet. Beef fillet would have been ok, but a 350 g cut is far too large a portion for us. We could perhaps have combined a portion with a nice starter or a nice vegetarian dish, but that wasn't available. Food: Chosen out of necessity the pork fillet with pepper sauce and croquettes. The quality of the ingredients was good; Unfortunately, preparation and presentation were not at all. The croquettes tasted good, but they were fried too short and too hot. The pork tenderloin was cooked in one piece and although it wasn't well seared, it wasn't too dry. But the “hit” was the “pepper sauce” — a thick paste with an unpleasant color and consistency. It didn't help that the taste was quite acceptable. Everything together was quite carelessly “slapped” onto a plate, just like in the worst cafeteria kitchen. I lost my appetite just looking at it. Service: We had only eaten half of our salad when the waitress was at our table with the main courses. Our questioning looks were answered with the comment “we don’t want to keep our guests waiting”. When we tried to convey that we would like to eat our salad in peace first, we received a rude reply: “You have to understand that. We've been standing in the kitchen all day..." When my husband then signaled to the waitress to simply put the plates down, the snippy remark followed: "I hope you enjoy your meal when you start eating..." Conclusion: After 50 minutes we were on the way home again. A truly unforgettable Christmas experience! The operators have decades of experience in the catering industry, so there can be no excuse for being hopelessly overwhelmed in all respects. And there is absolutely no excuse for the arrogant, disrespectful behavior towards the paying guests.

7 people to eat. Messed up food 7 times. There are no fries in any dish. Some of the meat was raw and the sauce was cold. After this was complained about at the service, there were only 3 new portions of fries. We were able to share it with 7 people. No new meat, no new sauce. Unfriendly service in the service. Unfortunately an attempt that didn't work. Nevertheless, good luck, maybe we'll try again from today.

Mega customer service 👍🏻 In the restaurant itself everything was as you could wish for. Great service, delicious food, very nice atmosphere... and... met the WhatsApp writer in person. We were there with the company for the second time, but unfortunately it doesn't get any better. The food is definitely just average, out of about 30 people, 20 said that it wasn't great. There were tons of pomegranate seeds in my rice, which was really disgusting and didn't match the dish either. The service could smile a little more. It was simply uncomfortable, you book a large room and then have to sit at individual tables of 4 people, which didn't create any comfort.

Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's baptism with around 70 people. All guests were enthusiastic about the ambience and the service. The celebration was a real success. The buffet was really tasty and the candy bar, which was ordered from outside, was made a highlight by the restaurant. Even though I'm really picky and a perfectionist, the staff fulfilled all my wishes and was always in touch with me if I had any questions. We talked and planned together for weeks. I was really happy with the result and will definitely celebrate there again! The people really have heart and are great!

We were there last weekend and were initially impressed by the very cozy atmosphere. Very chic facility! The service was very friendly and accommodating. The salad buffet was varied and, like the main course, we also really enjoyed it. All in all a successful evening for us. We generally don't think much of negative reviews at the beginning and therefore always make our own judgments. That's why we can't share the negative experiences here and would be happy to come back.

I wouldn't say it was a cozy restaurant, it was very loud where we were sitting. Salad bar is well stocked and fresh. The main course (pork fillet) was simply dry for me and my wife, and the fried potatoes were rather "simple". The service staff was very nice and accommodating. Next time I will order something different and I am convinced that it will get more stars. Finally: It is a recommended restaurant

Unfortunately it was just ok... the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't really tasty either. The potato soup beforehand was like that, not much taste. The main courses were also ok but not “I absolutely have to have them again”, meat was tough, advice took too long. Taste ok. Unfortunately, the dessert didn't go together at all and didn't taste great either: a small apple pancake and chocolate pudding on top... well. The salad buffet was very rich, with good ingredients, but unfortunately not everything was tasty. The staff is not unfriendly, but not super nice and hospitable either. They are there and bring the food and drinks. No offense intended, just an honest review from a guest's perspective!

Das Essen war nicht gut. Das Schweinefilet war viel zu trocken, genauso das Doradenfilet. Wir hatten das Gefühl das die Bedienung zu gestresst war. Dadurch war ein gemütliches Weihnachtsessen nicht möglich. Die Essenszeiten waren in Blöcke aufgeteilt welche zu eng getacktet waren.

So 2023 und wir waren wieder am ersten Weihnachtstag mit der ganzen Familie Essen. Auch diesmal war es wieder ein Erlebnis. Das Agentinische Rinderfilet war der Höhepunkt. Tolles Fleisch auf den Punkt zubereitet. Das Salat Buffet hat sich zum Vorjahr auch verbessert. Der Service war toll Kommen gerne wieder. Danke nochmal an das ganze Team. Dieses Lokal bekommt meine Empfehlung. Wer gut Essen möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Ich war erst zweimal da und bin beide Male vom Mittagsangebot begeistert gewesen. Das Essen war super lecker und es gab eine Auswahl an Hauptgerichte zum 4 Gängigen Menü, sodass für jeden etwas dabei war. Auch auf Sonderwünsche wurde ohne Probleme eingegangen. Die Portionen waren in Hinblick auf das Angebot reichlich. Das Service Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. Alles in allem habe ich mich überaus wohlgefühlt und kann das Mediterran guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Meine Begleitungen waren der gleichen Meinung. Wer vegan essen möchte, sollte sich jedoch ein anderes Restaurant aussuchen.

Als Tipp eines Bekannten mal ausprobiert und total begeistert. Ein super Ambiente, perfekter Service und vermutlich eins der besten Steaks, welches ich in den letzten zehn Jahren hatte. Am Salat Buffet kann sich so manches andere Restaurant ne Scheibe abschneiden alles, was das Herz begehrt und optisch, wie frisch aus der Küche kommend. Trotz vollem Haus, super nettes, gut gelauntes Personal, dem man den Stress nicht wirklich angemerkt hat. Für das Essen hätte man hier eigentlich mehr als fünf Sterne vergeben müssen. Kommen definitiv wieder. Kann man wirklich nur als Geheimtipp empfehlen.
