The food was very good, but we had to wait a long time until we got the menu and then the drinks, we had to wait 1.5 hours for the food... that's definitely too long, a shame ☹️ otherwise everything was good....

What better way to do on the day of the beginning of spring in Pforzheim than to have a nice lunch on the banks of the Enzur in the sunshine. Well, the chef can't do anything about the nice weather, but he can do about the good food... :-) There was a great tomato cream soup, crispy grilled meat loaf with onions, egg and wonderful fried potatoes. Plus a beautifully prepared side salad. A fruit salad with vanilla ice cream was served as dessert. Without exception, everything was top quality. And the service was very nice too! Gladly again soon.

Very nice, well-kept restaurant right on the Enz. The food has always been flawless and the meat from the open grill was absolutely top quality. A nice place to enjoy, especially in summer with the outside seating in the evening sun. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quantity and quality you get (e.g. side salad +€4.90). Very nicely located restaurant. Focus on steak. Great open kitchen with charcoal grill. The meat was without exception of excellent quality. Everything is tender and with a fine grilled taste. I waited 50 minutes to get food. The kitchen was empty for 20 minutes, no one was working in the kitchen although there were many people waiting. Also the restaurant was full of smoke, ventilation system doesn't work at all. It was quite hard to breathe. Plus, the employees kinda force customers to pay tips asking "what amount should I enter on the bill?" Very unpleasant experience.

Nice place on the Enz in summer. Food was good but not too much, could have been a little more. Unfortunately, we (and many other guests) had to wait a really long time for the food, so the service provided olives and bread to bridge the waiting time. The service is super friendly.

One of the best things about the evening was the service - extremely nice, attentive, helpful, friendly and competent. The meat, ordered medium rare, came to our table a bit over. But the little bit couldn't affect the taste of the meat because it was of good quality. Nevertheless, mdeium rare would have been nicer. As compensation there was a fee at the expense of the house. Small threat. I'm going there again!!! If the people of Pforzheim accept it and the restaurant crew doesn't do anything wrong, the restaurant has the potential to become an institution. Desirable for me.

It is possible to pre-order and have something to eat at lunchtime in a very short time. In terms of price, it is better than other nearby restaurants, although a bit upscale - but less than the good ambience suggests. So everything is appropriate.

Today we were at Pier Seven for the first and probably the last time. We had reserved a table, but in the end there were fewer people than registered. We were then offered a small table directly in the entrance area with the information that the larger table would then be needed for four people because it would be full. All well and good. But this and another table for four (nice by the window) were given to a couple each after we were seated who hadn't reserved. We felt we were being treated unfairly. About the service: We were served quickly, but people didn't listen attentively, because we each ordered the medium rump steak twice (we also called it that twice), but got the small one (but it was only charged that way). Taste ok, but nothing special. The side dishes (vegetables) were very tasteless. We would recommend salt and pepper on the tables. We will no longer visit Pier Seven.

Pier 7 is always our first choice. Food is always great. I think the boss himself cooks in the open kitchen. In the winter there is a wonderful atmosphere inside by the stove etc. In the summer outside on the Enz. Unfortunately we haven't seen our favorite conditions (an Italian woman maybe (?) and a blonde one) from last year for a long time. But the new ones are also very nice. However, there was a new man (waitress) who spoke to us in a somewhat cross-border and almost outrageously annoying way. We also noticed that he wanted to correct a new waitress who was very nice and polite to us. We then felt a bit sorry for this woman because she had done nothing wrong and he (you could clearly tell) spoke condescendingly to her. What not only we noticed, but also acquaintances who visit Steg 7 from time to time independently of us. There was nothing like that before this waitress (man), on the contrary, there would be more of a family feeling. That's why only 4 stars. Otherwise everything is perfect.

We dined there with 4 people, unfortunately the steak for 2 people was towards the end, totally over salted and inedible. When you made a complaint you were treated rudely by male employees, while female employees were treated very nicely. Conclusion: Everyone has to find out for themselves, tastes are different, we “never” again.

Unfortunately we didn't have the best day. I've been to Steg Sieben several times and have always had a very good experience, so I'm used to a certain level. Last Valentine's Day, February 14th, Steg Sieben was my first choice. However, I had to realize that we didn't experience the usual high level that day. Our order took over an hour to be served to us. Admittedly, the place was pretty busy, but not fully booked. Unfortunately the food was served cold, which is very unusual for Steg Sieben. We also missed the typical bread and olives that are usually served upon arrival. These little things are not important, but such details should be paid attention to, especially in these difficult times for the catering industry. I am sure that Steg Sieben can perform much better and the presentation of the dishes should also be updated in order to stand out positively and make a difference through loving preparation, especially in the crisis. I hope for better luck next time.

The Steg 7 is worth recommending. After a somewhat bumpy start, as there was no wine list or only three wines to choose from, the service was completely convincing with its very nice and humorous manner. Our starter didn't take long to arrive and was both delicious and very filling. The Steg7 burger was extremely tasty and the meat skewer was also impressive. Nice atmosphere thanks to a niche seat rounded off the pleasant evening. Gladly again.

Gerade jetzt ist es wichtig gutes Restaurants mit einer Bestellung zu unterstützen und bei Steg 7 bereut man es 100% nicht. Wir hatten am Samstag 2 Burger mit Pommes und Salat bestellt und ware restlos begeistert. Unterschiedliche Texturen, Geschmacksexplosionen a la Gaumensex. Wer Essen liebt ist hier richtig. Auch im gemischten Salat war kein 0815 Salat aus der Tonne drin, sondern richtig selbstgemachter Kartoffelsalat mit Fleischbrühe. Alles frisch und kann man nur wärmsten Empfehlen.

Das Lokal ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, leider dauerte es sehr sehr lange, bis uns das bestellte Essen serviert wurde. Wir hatten vorab einen Tisch reserviert, und das Essen wurde für alle gleichzeitig gebracht, leider waren die Gerichte dehalb nur lauwarm bis fast kalt......schade schade, daran muß dringend gearbeitet werden. Die Fleischgerichte waren ganz in Ordnung, von den Fischgerichten kann ich nur abraten. Noch ein kleines Manko, nach dem Essen sollte man Zeit haben um sich zu duschen und ggf, neu einzukleiden, die Rauchentwicklung im Restaurant war leider sehr stark.

Ich war skeptisch aufgrund der Berichte über die hygienischen Zustände. Wir waren mit 15 Personen dort. Es war alles bestens. Hat jedem geschmeckt und Bedienungen waren auch nett. Alles gut.

Wir waren heute lecker essen im Steg Sieben. Eigentlich wollte ich den Hirschburger und dazu Folienkartoffel. Dieser war aber leider ausverkauft. Ich habe mich dann für den Racletteburger entschieden. Absolut ein Traum. Auf den Punkt genau gebratener Patty. Mit Raclettekäse überbackene Kartoffelscheiben, selbst geröstete Zwiebeln, mit Gürckchen und Bacon. Ich möchte auch noch die Freundliche Bedienung herausheben. Wir kommen sicher wieder. 🤤

Sehr guter Burger aber anfangs wenig motiviertes Personal. Wir waren Freitags Abends mit Reservierung im Lokal, direkt zur Öffnung um 17:30. Unsere Getränkebestellung wurde erst nach ca. 20 min. aufgenommen, obwohl im Lokal keine Gäste waren. Bis die Getränke wiederrum kamen nochmals 20 min. trotz mittlerweile nur 2 zusätzlich eingetroffenen Gästen. Zum Zeitpunkt 3 Bedienungen (die auch die Getränke richten) im Lokal. Dies als negativer Punkt, deshalb befriedigend.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Ein tolles Feature aus meiner Sicht, man kann in die Küche schauen. Der Service ist jedes mal super (bin öfters dort essen). Manchmal ist es ein wenig stressig, was spürbar ist. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt dafür. Das Essen ist mehr als super. Zu empfehlen ist aufjedenfall das Tomahawk, das Rumpsteak und das Filet. Der Zwiebelrostbraten ist auch nicht von schlechten Eltern. Die Pommes und Wedges sind immer ein Genuss, und der Krautsalat eine super Nummer für sich (kommt immer kostenfrei zum Hauptgericht). Als kostenlose Vorspeise gibt es immer leckere Oliven und super knuspriges Brot. Klare Weiterempfehlung. Als Randnotiz auch einer der besten und qualitätvollsten Restaurants in Pforzheim und Umgebung.

Früher eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants. Leider hat die Qualität des Essens dort sehr nachgelassen. Fade Oliven und trockenes Baguette? Das Burgerfleisch war auch nicht so lecker. Ich hätte lieber kleinere Portionen und dafür bessere Qualität. - Schade.

Was soll ich sagen außer super Wirklich Super !!!

Terrasse, super Service Ambiente draußen an der Enz Wie drinnen im Restaurant wunderschön. Der Chef ist am Grill und leistet richtig gute Arbeit. Immer wieder gerne.

Der Cesar Salad war gut, leider mit Walnüssen, obwohl ich die ausdrücklich abbestellt hatte. Ich habe sie dann einfach rausgesucht, hätte aber bei einem Betrieb, der so auf toll macht erwartet, dass der Service aufmerksam zuhört und auf eine Allergie reagiert. Hätte ich nicht gleich ein komisches Gefühl gehabt, dass dies nicht geschehen ist, dann wäre die erste Nuss im Mund gelandet und ich im Krankenhaus.

Mega lecker... Ich hatte ein Rindersteak mit Bratkartoffeln.. Das Fleisch war sehr zart. Die Kartoffeln etwas ölig aber noch genießbar... Trotz vollem Laden sehr freundlicher Service... Ich komme gerne wieder..

Lunch rate is 12-16€ per person. and dinner is bit higher. For dates, Business lunch, friends or with family, every occasion fits this place. They accept cards and cash.

Dass Restaurant Steg Sieben liegt romantisch an der Enz. Das Essen ist nicht billig, dafür hochwertig. Man bekommt leckere, opulente Burger, Steaks und andere Speisen. Drinnen sowie draußen ist's dass Ambiente schön und angenehm.

In Pforzheim gibt es kaum schöne Ambiente, wie ich finde. Um so überraschender an der Enz entlang zu Sitzen , Trettboot fahrer beobachten, bei einem Glas Wein und super leckerem Essen. Hier steht der Chef persönlich am Grill. Sowohl drin als auch draussen super gute Plätze zum sitzen. Freundlicher zuvorkommender Service. Der Preis mag einem Stolz vorkommen allerdings bezahle ich das gerne wenn ich ein so außergewöhnlich gutes gegrilltes Fleisch erhalte. Empfehlenswert definitiv. Nachtisch sollte man nicht vergessen schmeckt grandios ( schokokuchen) Parkplätze sind allgemein ein Problem....

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt noch immer. Jede Woche neue Mittagskarte mit abwechslungsreichen Kreationen. Lecker. Draußen sitzen bei warmen Wetter, drinnen bei niedrigen Temperaturen oder wenn man es nicht ab kann, dass man rechts und links an einem stark frequentierten Fahrrad-/Fußgänger-/E-Scooter-Weg sitzt. Ich liebe es, am Zaun neben der Enz unter einem Sonnenschirm zu sitzen und neben Essen und trinken dem bunten Treiben zuzusehen. Service ist seit diesem Jahr zäh geworden. Offensichtlich wird am Personal gespart und die beiden Bedienungen müssen sich die Hacken ablaufen, um die vielen Gäste bedienen zu können. Dadurch muss man länger warten, als noch letztes Jahr. Auf Getränk, Essen und am Ende aufs Bezahlen dürfen.

Ein außerordentlich lieber und frischer Service! Die Weinkarte birgt einige (für offenen Ausschank) durchaus anspruchsvolle Positionen wie den Arneis, und hat ein Spektrum an Typen, die über Grauburgunder und Chianti hinausgehen. Bei den Hauptgerichten sind die Steaks zu erwähnen, auch wegen der guten Gewichtsklassen, indes schwanken sie da in der Zubereitung, gerade der Würzung und der Garstufe etwas zu sehr ins viel und durch (bei dem Preis sollten sie etwas umsichtiger sein). Dennoch hat man viel Glück, auch mit saisonalen Angeboten wie spargel und der espresso martini ist wirklich ein schöner Abschluss. Zum Lunch kann man auf die Wochenkarte schauen, da sind gut komponierte Sachen bei wie eine frischkäse gefüllte Hähnchenbrust mit grünem spargel.
