Today we are waiting to eat at TimeOut. In addition to the really nice service, the food was just OK. But nothing more. Koch's timing still needs to be worked on. We hadn't finished the starter yet when the main course was already served. So it became tight at the table. The portion size was also “okay” but nothing more. However, a kidnapping into the Mediterranean, as announced in the map, did not materialize.
The restaurant has a beautiful exterior design with a view of the Rhine Bridge. The furnishings are also very attractive. Unfortunately, I wasn't at all happy with the turkey schnitzel - it was extremely bland and dry, I've never experienced anything like it. Unfortunately I couldn't finish it. The sauce, however, was very good.
What struck me negatively was that after we had eaten, my friend wanted to finish her wine in peace, but they kept checking to see if our table was free. That left an uncomfortable feeling.
The quick preparation of the food is a positive aspect. However, it bothered us that we had barely had the menu a minute before we were asked for our drink order - we hadn't even read the drinks list properly.
Overall therefore 3 out of 5 stars.
You can't buy hospitality.
The new owner bought the name and menu, but everything else is no longer what it was!
There have been several chances since the change, but after more than 10 years the living room is changed.
The Mythos is an instance in Unterhaching. For many, many years you have always been able to eat well there, always receive friendly and courteous service and simply feel good. This is my Greek restaurant of choice in the surrounding area
