Artemis in Berlin

I always enjoy coming here. Delicious food, friendly service, and a view of the Spree River. What could be better?

For me the best Greek restaurant I've ever eaten in. The food was delicious, the garlic bread is highly recommended, everything else was also very delicious. The service was very nice, friendly and numerous at all times, nothing was left to be desired and I could easily get used to the small ouzo pots at the table. We were here for the third time and it certainly won't stay that way, we're looking forward to the summer so we can finally sit on the terrace directly on the Spree. Many thanks to the entire staff for the lovely evening

Our favorite Greek. Always very friendly and a great terrace. The overall experience doesn't need to be spoiled with too much free ouzo. It just fits.

The guys (probably SBS) beat us, kicked us, made noise like orphans... terrible behavior, never again

We received very friendly service and enjoyed the salmon and gyros pan. We were a bit disappointed with the spaghetti ice cream, supposedly with bourbon vanilla ice cream, but unfortunately it was just a ready-made product from the freezer. On Sunday afternoon we were lucky to get a table with a time slot of just under two hours, reservations are recommended.

Very friendly staff. The cold starter was nothing special. But the main courses were A1. I have hardly ever had such delicious and well-seasoned gyros. Lamb was on point and tender, the meatballs were simply delicious. And on top of that: a view of the Spree. Next time I will forego the starter and instead order more of the delicious tzatziki.

Popular Greek on the Spree. The restaurant is quite large and you can sit both inside and outside (in a kind of tent with heaters in the cold season). You can then have a good look at the water. The service staff is friendly and quick. The menu offers typical Greek dishes at moderate prices. The taste of the food is ok.

Unlike the establishment of the same name Things are quite civilized and dignified here. At least that's what one can assume. For men, women and the entire family, you can experience the culinary highlights of Greek gastronomy here. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food we ate all deserved top marks. Neither the small hunger nor the big hunger are neglected and even those with a sweet tooth will be completely satisfied. The selection of non-alcoholic drinks could be larger. I would definitely like to come back.

Food was good, service was okay, the outside terrace is not so chic...

The food is well cooked and the lamb is particularly recommended. We've been there several times before, but this time the service wasn't attentive, as if no one felt responsible for our table. I made the reservation with the desire to sit by the water, but unfortunately it wasn't fulfilled even though a table was available for the entire time. It's a shame.

We had a nice day there today. We sat in the winter garden. It's nicely heated... what bothered me was that it was a bit narrow. Maybe two tables less makes it better. The food was fantastic. For the prices you get great quality. Service was great too. Super friendly. You felt at home.

We had a nice place in the heated winter garden with a direct view of the Spree. Really nice atmosphere. Drinks came quickly and the GinTonic was mixed really well. The food also came quickly, tasted delicious and was rich. Good value for money. Friendly service.

Went here based on the great reviews and was not disappointed! The back patio is enclosed and has heaters in winter which makes it still comfortable. Very friendly staff, my lamb skewers and spanakopita were delicious, and we had a great time here.

I've been going to Artemis regularly for years and I can only say every time that the food, service and ambience are great. No other Greek restaurant comes close to the food at Artemis. So far I have enjoyed every dish there.

A good restaurant with excellent Greek cuisine and very attentive service

Great ambience on the Spree with delicious food and fine drinks. It was our first time at Artemis, but definitely not the last time. Service friendly and calm. The dishes are just delicious from the starters to the main courses. The only thing that should be allowed for is a little more time in the sequence between the courses. Not nice when the starter hasn't been eaten yet and there's some time for the main course. Otherwise everything fits - really recommended.

Very nice restaurant decorated with love. Very nice operators and the staff is also very accommodating, the food is very tasty and the prices are also acceptable, we come here once a month and feel at home. Conclusion is highly recommended.

Had dinner there last night. The food was very tasty and sufficient. What bothered me were the waiters and waitresses who joked among themselves, laughed loudly and paid no attention to the guests. They were still playing with a small child, I don't think it's appropriate.

Jamas It is definitely recommended to like ouzo when you visit this little Greek in Schöneweide. But more on that later. The Artemis, not to be confused with the establishment of the same name in Charlottenburg Wilmersdorf, basically offers its guests the usual Greek cuisine without being able or willing to come up with any big surprises or refinements. The focus is of course on meat in all its variations especially of course gyros, as well as lamb and beef in one piece or chopped. Vegetarians don't have it easy here. Every self-respecting Greek family has its own tzatziki recipe. I can't say whether the owners of Artemis do the same, but the tzatziki here is definitely incredibly good (best with fresh garlic bread ) In the warm season you can sit on the terrace directly on the Spree, but I would strongly advise you to make a reservation because these places are of course particularly popular. I generally recommend making reservations on weekends in the late afternoon and evening hours, as the Artemis is busy then. The prices for food and drinks are very moderate and the portions are really generous - Greek portions. The appetizer platter for two alone (grape leaves, tsziki, tuna, Tarama sheep's cheese, beans, squid rings, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, pepperoni... and fresh white bread) is almost enough to fill you up. At irregular intervals the very friendly and extremely brisk waiters come with ouzo trays and put the national drink on the tables... so that on our last visit I got a whopping 9 ouzo (I don't say no if there's something free) The typical Greek interior and a tidy, clean dining room with the same sanitary facilities complete the positive image of this Greek taverna. My recommendation: appetizer platter

Very pleasant atmosphere with delicious food.

Was there with my girlfriend on Tuesday evening. We got a place right on the water without a reservation. Service was top, as was the view and the food. Gladly again.

Very good Greek restaurant. The portions are appropriate and the quality of the food is good. The interior is discreetly decorated in dark brown. Most tables separated. The terrace is excellent. Directly on the Spree, covered and equipped with radiant heaters. If you want to sit there, you should definitely reserve in advance. The staff is attentive, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended. Update: no changes 👍 Update: Sitting on the terrace in cool temperatures can be a challenge as the heaters make it very warm. That would have to be readjusted. Otherwise everything is good

We sat outside under the roof, despite the patio heater it was cold. The food was ok. But nothing outstanding in terms of taste. Drinks were only brought to us when we asked for them a second time. For a Greek restaurant it was very quiet, although busy. 👍🏼 We probably won't come by again. Because there are definitely better Greek restaurants and service.

The restaurant is overall quite good, service is friendly and relatively quick. Food tasted okay to good, you can tell it's Greek and not Italian, the pasta is a bit slimy and rather below average, sauce was good. But the dessert surprised me very positively. The ambience on the Spree was nice and the restaurant ambience is OK.

Great food, but long waiting times

The food was ok, the service wasn't really. Arrived and had to wait quite a while before we got the memory card. Instead of asking what we wanted to drink...the waitress had already left... Then it took a while until someone found their way to us. Ordered food and drink. Then we waited again... other guests who ordered later already got their drinks. Then suddenly the starter and salad arrived...still no trace of the drinks. I spoke to the waitress about it...then the drinks finally came. I had never experienced that before. The rest was fine so far.

The restaurant is right on the Spree and even has 1 or 2 guest boaters for guests. A very inviting and spacious atmosphere. The prices are ok and the mixed meat plate for 2 people was a measured size. There is a free ouzo before the meal and the espresso coffee after the meal was also on the house. The quality is very good. The appetizer Saganaki was particularly delicious. The service was very quick and the food was served to us at short notice as we had ordered shortly before the kitchen closed at around 9 p.m.

The food is still great after many years! Prices have of course increased over the years, but the taste is consistent and still well attended! Keep it up .☺️😉

The prices are quite okay for the dishes. The beautiful view of the Spree is free. Larger groups should reserve in advance.

I'm now cautious about reviews in Berlin, but the store is really great. Went there today without a reservation (because of the reviews) and it was actually full. They took care of it immediately, consulted and found a solution. Unfortunately inside, not outside because it's full. We asked to move if something became available and they took care of it. After the appetizer, we were offered to move outside. A bit noisy on the terrace but great location by the water. Food was consistently great. The main courses are a little smaller than I know at Greek restaurants, but we thought that was great. After the starter and salad it was just manageable and we are good eaters. Everyone, absolutely every employee took care of every table, asked questions etc... absolutely awesome... 🤩 After the flop with the Greek in the middle, it was a relief... we'll be back!

We had booked a table and that turned out to be right. The restaurant was already busy for a Sunday at 6 p.m. In this warm weather, the table on the terrace, directly on the Spree, was just the right place. The service is not only very friendly, but also creates a very relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely eat here again.

When we are in Berlin again we will make a reservation and go again. Even during the week, it makes sense to reserve if you want to sit on the terrace.

I've actually been to Artemis several times and the food is usually pretty solid. However, when the restaurant is full, you quickly notice that the kitchen is reaching its limits. A medium steak can quickly become well done, or lamb that is simply too well done. It's a shame, it shouldn't happen, but it can happen. I'll try again at another time :)

Wir waren heute das erste mal im Artemis und müssen sagen wie sind total begeistert. Wir warne spontan mit dem Boot da, haben vorher angerufen und sofort einen Platz mit dem Boot bekommen und einen tollen Platz im Lokal.. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch..die Bedienungen super aufmerksam schnell und freundlich. Wir kommen definitv wieder.. Danke für den tollen Abend
