Meteora in Hannover

I haven't eaten this well in a long time. The meat is of outstanding quality. The dining room is very interestingly decorated, with everything in white – it feels very classy.

An all-around successful evening, with delicious, varied food and very friendly service. For me, Meteora is one of the best restaurants in Hanover.

Everything was really tasty. Only negative thing was, we had a reservation but we still had to wait for 30 minutes to get seated. Other than that everything was truly amazing .

It is the best Greek Restaurant in Hanover. Everything is top. Friendly staff, well organized, clean and delicious. A bit pricey but I would love to pay more for the quality. Salad-bar can be improved. Otherwise everything is well decorated and organized.

The food selection is outstanding, and the dishes are fantastic. Dates with caramelized bacon and kunefe (?!) was the best appetizer I've ever eaten. Upon entry, we were warmly welcomed by over five employees from the entrance to our table, and we will definitely be back 🤗 (PS: Even using the restroom is a highlight here!😄)

Such amazing, incredibly good service, sooooo good Greek food – even in Greece, I've rarely eaten at this level, and such friendly people – an incredibly great and friendly owner – everything was perfect and highly recommended. I ordered a pasta and meat set with the salad bar, which was very filling. It was a hamburger steak, but it had cheese inside (not melted) and was so salty that I couldn't eat it all. On the other hand, the tomato pasta was exquisitely delicious and I finished it all. The staff were very friendly and would ask if my food was good every time I passed by. It's a little pricey, but the atmosphere is nice and I recommend sharing it with your partner or group.

This restaurant is definitely recommended for its high-quality and delicious Greek cuisine. It was a delight, just the right choice for our wedding anniversary.

The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside, but inside is done beautifully. The waitress/waiters are friendly and welcoming, although service was a bit slow. Nice little touches with complimentary bread and an olive dip with olive oil to start and a touch of live music. We had a variety of the tapas dishes, all good portions, and tasted great! Throughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend

The food and the location are really great, but not being able to reach them for days when trying to make a reservation by phone bothers me so much that I won't be coming again. Just answering the phone can't be that difficult. And it's been like this for the last 10 times.

A bit unassuming from the outside, but magnificent on the inside. And well-attended. We were warmly welcomed by the manager, and within 10 minutes a table was ready for us. And the food: truly delicious. And the disco in the restroom was priceless.

The Meteora has now become our favorite Greek restaurant! Very friendly and accommodating staff, they cater to guests' requests and food intolerances, and for birthday children, they serve a special firework display with dessert. Plenty of different seating options, well-trained staff—there's nothing to complain about. The food is excellent, extremely plentiful, and available in a wide variety. If you can't make it, they'll even pack your own food for you! Even though the parking situation is sometimes a bit difficult, that doesn't stop us from visiting. So, Greece, ten points👍

We've been here several times and are always impressed. Excellent service, a great atmosphere, and if you go to the bathroom, you can enjoy a fantastic disco atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone. When you've finished eating, albeit reluctantly, and left the restaurant, you're well-satiated, but there's no typical bloated feeling like you get at many other Greek restaurants. We will definitely be back again.

Once again, we were not disappointed; in fact, our expectations were far exceeded. Whether it's a business lunch or a private dinner with family or friends, this is always the right place to eat! The restaurant has plenty of seating, but the layout of the rooms keeps the noise level extremely low. The live Greek music creates a holiday atmosphere and isn't disturbing. The food is simply top-notch, and some of it is prepared by the staff right at your table (flambéed, cooked, mixed, etc.). Just watching it is an experience in itself. The restrooms are not only clean, but with the disco ball and club music, they're also a highlight; everyone leaves with a smile :) A table reservation is highly recommended. During table changeover times, it can get quite busy in front of the restaurant, but don't worry, everyone who has a reservation will get a table.

We were spontaneously in Hanover and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant by chance, where the price-performance ratio is absolutely justified. We really enjoyed the ambiance, and we were thoroughly entertained by a Greek band. The service was generally very courteous and professional, and we felt very comfortable as guests. The food was fantastic! Everything was carefully and thoughtfully seasoned, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the drink selection was varied and authentic. We had a great evening and will definitely return.

Never eaten such good meze! We were passing through and spontaneously stopped in for lunch since it's across the street from the Prizeotel. Great service, fantastic ambiance. Highly recommended! A wafer-thin lamb fillet was flambéed in a pan at our table. Unfortunately, no photos were taken because we were so captivated. But the octopus, vegetables, baby calamari, appetizer, and house wine were also perfect.

The food was delicious and consisted of several appetizers so we could try a variety of dishes. Among other things, there was octopus, feta cheese with dates and bacon, tzatziki, grilled vegetables... Overall, all the dishes were delicious. We will definitely come back.

The main course – a selection of fish fillets and shrimp with side dishes such as Mediterranean oven-baked vegetables – was superbly seasoned and cooked to perfection. We were particularly impressed by the dessert: The crème brûlée was charred right at the table – a real eye-catcher and a dream in terms of taste. The chocolate cake with a liquid center was also heavenly and beautifully presented. The ambience was stylish and cozy, the service attentive and friendly. All in all: simply recommended. Regarding the price, I have to say: We really treated ourselves to a lot. We had starters, we had main courses – and we had an awful lot of food on the table, as well as plenty of drinks. Of course, that adds up.

Frankly, we were a bit prejudiced when we went, since we go to Greece often and love its cuisine, we thought it wouldn't be better than what we ate there, especially since Germans don't have a good food culture, they were exaggerating this place, but we were wrong. Forget what you ate in Greece, definitely try this place. Fine dining Greek cuisine :) prices are a bit above the city average but it's definitely worth it👍 reservation is definitely required

We spent a wonderful evening at this restaurant with the whole family. A table for 14, fast and attentive service, very, very good food (!), and a lovely atmosphere. Our kids loved the disco in the bathroom and danced there for the first time. But what impressed us most was the food. The only other place we've ever had such great Greek food was in Greece, at my brother's in-laws' house. Prepared and presented with love, finesse, and very creatively. Simply fantastic!
