In my opinion one of the best Greek restaurants in the region. No, even the best with really authentic Greek cuisine. Whether mezedes, fish or braised dishes, everything is prepared to perfection and often leads to a taste explosion. Keep it up!!!?

An almost authentic Greek restaurant with typical and tried and tested Greek dishes. During peak times, it can take a little longer in the evenings, both during the week and on weekends, despite reservations. Good gyros and guests can put together a salad for each main course at the salad bar.

Everything went smoothly with the online reservation. The service on site was exemplary and friendly. The food was beautifully arranged and my partner's birthday was also remembered. We would be happy to come back 😊

I had pre-ordered a mixed starter platter and main course for 5 people… I have to say it was beyond delicious! A treat for the palate and an explosion for the taste buds! So diverse, opulent and fresh. Attentive and nice staff and great ambience. Thanks to the Meteore team for the nice evening!

Best Greek I've ever been to! The service is great and the atmosphere is really nice. The food was fantastic! The portions are also nice and big. We were here on my birthday and there was even a dessert with candles and birthday music/singing. That made my birthday a lot sweeter.

The food at Meteora is delicious and the portions are large. Unfortunately, the wine for €30 per bottle wasn't particularly good. The service still needs to be worked on. We tried to order a vegan appetizer platter, that wasn't possible. As an alternative, we decided on the vegan declared pita (garlic flatbread) and a portion of lentil cream. We were brought garlic bread, but topped with tomatoes and sheep's cheese. I pointed out that it was declared vegan, but the waiter simply ignored this. Those in the non-vegan group ate the bread. The lentil cream for almost €8 was of course completely unnecessary for the lavish sandwich. When the portion was already eaten, I informed another waiter that they had a mistake in the menu. Only then did he realize that his colleague had apparently noted another dish. He offered to bring the other one as well, but by this point we were well into the main course and most of us were almost full, so we declined. There was no discount etc., after paying I noticed that even the dish that had been brought to me incorrectly had been charged - at over €10 and therefore more than twice as expensive as the bread I actually ordered. In total, with the lentil cream that didn't match the bread, that was about €19 for a wrong starter that I couldn't eat.

Nice shop, nice staff and the food is fresh and tasty. I've eaten at better Greek places BUT here the overall package is very good.

We were there with a group, which meant we were able to test a variety of food. The result: all the dishes were very tasty and delicious. The drinks were also excellently prepared. Service very good, not intrusive and always present. The ambience is well decorated, only the light was a little too bright, but we didn't say anything, maybe it could even be dimmed. One star deducted because the ratio of quantity to price for the entire group didn't really fit. When it comes to side dishes such as fries and rice, a good portion should be available at the price given the prices. A large ouzo was served during the payment process, which made up for the small side dish. Keep it up...

Es ist einfach toll hier. Die Vorspeisenauswahl sucht seinesgleichen und überrascht immer wieder. Tolle Kompositionen die einfach nichts mit einem Standardgriechen zu tun haben. Alles sehr lecker und auch die Hauptgerichte sind besonders. Natürlich gibt es auch Gyros mit Pommes, wer das bestellt versäumt jedoch viele tolle andere Gerichte. Wir kommen gerne wieder

We recently had dinner there with my husband and what can I say... It was wonderful. We really enjoyed the food and the service and atmosphere were great. The ελληνικό καφέ (Greek mocha) is authentically brewed in front of you and there was even a small live band that played wonderful Greek music during the meal. As a Greek, the only thing that didn't appeal to me was the combination of lamb fillet and mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, so I would have liked a different combination for my dish. It was a culinary experience and all in a very cozy atmosphere. The service is excellent and the food tastes delicious. We tried 8 different dishes and all were delicious. The stay was very relaxing and felt like a wonderful mini vacation.

We had reserved a table and had to cancel. But that wasn't possible because after six phone attempts no one answered. At first the line was free and then only busy. That's clear. Very hospitable.

This is the second time we've been there and we're thrilled again. The food was really good, the service was very friendly and attentive. To top it off, two guitarists also played on Friday.

Best Greek I've ever visited! The food was simply delicious, especially the starter for two people, which really blew us away. (see photo) The prices are high, but absolutely justified for the quality offered. What struck me as particularly positive is that the card states where the goods come from - this is something you rarely see and shows a great deal of transparency and quality. The entire visit was a complete success. Even the toilet was an experience as they played disco music that made you want to dance! I would love to come back and will definitely recommend the restaurant.

The restaurant is really incredible! The lamb was tender and very flavorful. One dish, “Arni Marinato,” is flambéed in front of you by the waiter, just like the “Crème Brûlée.” How the food is served is an art in itself and with the delicious appetizers and the ambience with live music, it is probably the best Greek restaurant in Hanover.

We had to wait a while before we could get to a table (we, 3 people, did not have a reservation). Very good meal. Meat tender, pasta well flavored and well filled, vegetables with a bite. Very friendly help, our son wanted simple pasta with tomato sauce and chicken… it was not on the menu but it was no problem. You could taste that it was fresh tomato sauce, well seasoned. Glass of 'house' wine, dry red, full and very tasty. All in all, we would love to come again.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. Super nice restaurant. Very nice staff. Our babysitter canceled at short notice, which was absolutely no problem here. The food was delicious and the little ones really enjoyed it too. Always happy and highly recommended.

The food was great. I was impressed by the great fries and delicious grilled vegetables. Of course the gyros were also tasty. Just seasoning Suflaki with Koreander doesn't work at all. All in all it was a nice experience to be there again.

Great selection of food, lots of exciting vegetarian dishes, great quality. Good-humoured and attentive service staff even when things are busy. The atmosphere is modern and yet very cozy.

The restaurant stands out for its welcoming staff and a pleasant location, but the prices are disproportionate to the service provided. The food was overall disappointing. We ordered two fish dishes, two meteora and a lamb shank, with each dish costing between €26 and €35. However, the quality of the food was poor. The salad buffet, which was included in the price, was not refilled. The bread was the only thing that was really tasty. The main courses were a disaster. The fish was raw inside, the flesh was tough and tasteless. The only thing to enjoy were the fries and the pasta. Even the rice cooked with tomatoes tasted like a ready-made meal from the supermarket. The drinks were acceptable and up to the standards of other restaurants. Basically the food was nicely presented, but overall just bad. Overall the experience was disappointing and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant. For a better culinary experience, I would instead prefer a kebab shop in Hanover where the meat is not frozen.

The visit to Meteora was once again excellent. Friendly and attentive service rounds off the visit with exceptionally good food!

We had reserved a table at 6 p.m., were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table and from then on everything was smooth, harmonious and perfect. The restaurant has such a great ambience, which is best seen for yourself because you can't describe it all, the staff is very attentive, the food was super tasty and very good. We were there until 9 p.m., no sign or feeling that we had to leave because the table was already reserved for the next guest. We've never experienced anything like this before. We'll definitely be back. It's a shame that we don't have a restaurant like this here, we're not from Hanover. And of course the disco ball and the music in the toilet are really cool😉 We can only thank you for a wonderful evening. Hopefully see you again very soon.

This restaurant will always be my favorite restaurant in Hanover! I can't express how wonderful everything is here - the food, the service, everything! I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday here and it was one of the best birthdays I've ever had. The atmosphere was fantastic and they made the day very special for my husband and I. Many thanks to the team for the great hospitality! And the food – simply incredibly delicious! I also highly recommend their own olive oil – it’s just amazing! We were there for the first time. And I can only say one thing about it: This was the BEST restaurant we've ever been to. The food was impeccable, the service was on point and the ambience was great. The food simply tasted great. The service was just great. Arranging the food was simply a dream to behold. If you want to eat something other than a simple Greek meal, this is the place for you. The staff and the owner are extremely friendly.

Very friendly welcome from the team. Nice ambience with a lot of interior space, which creates a bit of a tight space, but significantly reduces the volume of conversations and immediately makes you feel at home. We were there with a larger group and were looked after attentively. The menu is extensive and you are spoiled for choice. The food came to everyone at the same time, although almost everyone ordered something different. My moussaka from the daily menu (freshly prepared!) was both visually appealing and a culinary delight. The fine coleslaw from the salad bar was also homemade and extremely tasty. The farewell, again from the majority of the team, was also very friendly. It was my first time there and I was very impressed. Here you can really tell from the first moment: you are a guest with friends.

Have been coming to Joti's Meteora for 14 years. The quality of the food is always top. There are always new variants and innovations in the menu. The ambience is an absolute highlight, several completely different design areas in which neither cost nor effort has been spared. The staff is absolutely professional and courteous. The boss himself is a restaurateur with heart and soul and a pioneer in the catering industry. We are already looking forward to our next visit, keep it up…..

Perfect attentive service, consistently excellent food, most of which differs significantly from that of "classic Greek restaurants", large selection of vegetarian dishes, also upscale wine selection, larger selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit 4 Bereichen in unterschiedlichsten Einrichtungsstilen. Der Service ist vom Empfang bis zum Verlassen des Restaurants einfach perfekt gewesen. Die Speisekarte ist relativ umfangreich mit ausschließlich frischen Zutaten (die Lieferanten für alles sind aufgelistet). Große Auswahl an Vorspeisen, davon viele vegetarisch. Die Präsentation aller Gerichte auf Platten und Teller außergewöhnlich, teilweise am Tisch flambiert. Sehr leckeres Brot vorweg mit Olivenmus und Olivenöl ohne Berechnung obligatorisch. Die Hauptspeisen unterscheiden sich in großen Teilen von denen "klassischer griechischer Restaurants". Zusammengefasst: Wir hatten eine rundum gelungene Geburtstagsfeier mit 11 Personen in denen sich auch unsere 7-jährige Enkeltochter nie gelangweilt hat. Trotz einer 100%-igen Auslastung keine lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke und Essen.

Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden sowohl mit dem Service, dem Ambiente als auch mit dem vorzüglichen Essen. Auf unsere Kinder wurde sehr gut eingegangen und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Fleisch (Suflaki) war zart und nicht wie manchmal tot gegrillt. Wir kommen gerne wieder beim nächsten Besuch in Hannover. Absolute Empfehlung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
