Es ist einfach toll hier. Die Vorspeisenauswahl sucht seinesgleichen und überrascht immer wieder. Tolle Kompositionen die einfach nichts mit einem Standardgriechen zu tun haben. Alles sehr lecker und auch die Hauptgerichte sind besonders. Natürlich gibt es auch Gyros mit Pommes, wer das bestellt versäumt jedoch viele tolle andere Gerichte. Wir kommen gerne wieder

We recently had dinner there with my husband and what can I say... It was wonderful. We really enjoyed the food and the service and atmosphere were great. The ελληνικό καφέ (Greek mocha) is authentically brewed in front of you and there was even a small live band that played wonderful Greek music during the meal. As a Greek, the only thing that didn't appeal to me was the combination of lamb fillet and mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, so I would have liked a different combination for my dish. I can only recommend this restaurant with its top quality food and excellent service. Ευχαριστουμε παρα πολύ, θα ξαναρθουμε

It was a culinary experience and all in a very cozy atmosphere. The service is excellent and the food tastes delicious. We tried 8 different dishes and all were delicious. The stay was very relaxing and felt like a wonderful mini vacation.

We had reserved a table and had to cancel. But that wasn't possible because after six phone attempts no one answered. At first the line was free and then only busy. That's clear. Very hospitable.

Super great service, the evening was great. It was my wife's birthday, I said when I made the reservation, and the staff serenaded her after dinner and gave her a little surprise. The food was super tasty 😋 Thank you very much for the lovely evening.

Best Greek I've ever visited! The food was simply delicious, especially the starter for two people, which really blew us away. (see photo) The prices are high, but absolutely justified for the quality offered. What struck me as particularly positive is that the card states where the goods come from - this is something you rarely see and shows a great deal of transparency and quality. The entire visit was a complete success. Even the toilet was an experience as they played disco music that made you want to dance! I would love to come back and will definitely recommend the restaurant.

We had to wait a while before we could get to a table (we, 3 people, did not have a reservation). Very good meal. Meat tender, pasta well flavored and well filled, vegetables with a bite. Very friendly help, our son wanted simple pasta with tomato sauce and chicken… it was not on the menu but it was no problem. You could taste that it was fresh tomato sauce, well seasoned. Glass of 'house' wine, dry red, full and very tasty. All in all, we would love to come again.

The restaurant is really incredible! The lamb was tender and very flavorful. One dish, “Arni Marinato,” is flambéed in front of you by the waiter, just like the “Crème Brûlée.” How the food is served is an art in itself and with the delicious appetizers and the ambience with live music, it is probably the best Greek restaurant in Hanover.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. Super nice restaurant. Very nice staff. Our babysitter canceled at short notice, which was absolutely no problem here. The food was delicious and the little ones really enjoyed it too. Always happy and highly recommended.

The food was great. I was impressed by the great fries and delicious grilled vegetables. Of course the gyros were also tasty. Just seasoning Suflaki with Koreander doesn't work at all. All in all it was a nice experience to be there again.

The restaurant stands out for its welcoming staff and a pleasant location, but the prices are disproportionate to the service provided. The food was overall disappointing. We ordered two fish dishes, two meteora and a lamb shank, with each dish costing between €26 and €35. However, the quality of the food was poor. The salad buffet, which was included in the price, was not refilled. The bread was the only thing that was really tasty. The main courses were a disaster. The fish was raw inside, the flesh was tough and tasteless. The only thing to enjoy were the fries and the pasta. Even the rice cooked with tomatoes tasted like a ready-made meal from the supermarket. The drinks were acceptable and up to the standards of other restaurants. Basically the food was nicely presented, but overall just bad. Overall the experience was disappointing and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant. For a better culinary experience, I would instead prefer a kebab shop in Hanover where the meat is not frozen.

We had reserved a table at 6 p.m., were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table and from then on everything was smooth, harmonious and perfect. The restaurant has such a great ambience, which is best seen for yourself because you can't describe it all, the staff is very attentive, the food was super tasty and very good. We were there until 9 p.m., no sign or feeling that we had to leave because the table was already reserved for the next guest. We've never experienced anything like this before. We'll definitely be back. It's a shame that we don't have a restaurant like this here, we're not from Hanover. And of course the disco ball and the music in the toilet are really cool😉 We can only thank you for a wonderful evening. Hopefully see you again very soon.

This restaurant will always be my favorite restaurant in Hanover! I can't express how wonderful everything is here - the food, the service, everything! I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday here and it was one of the best birthdays I've ever had. The atmosphere was fantastic and they made the day very special for my husband and I. Many thanks to the team for the great hospitality! And the food – simply incredibly delicious! I also highly recommend their own olive oil – it’s just amazing! The food simply tasted great. The service was just great. Arranging the food was simply a dream to behold. If you want to eat something other than a simple Greek meal, this is the place for you. The staff and the owner are extremely friendly.

Nice ambience with a lot of interior space, which creates a bit of a tight space, but significantly reduces the volume of conversations and immediately makes you feel at home. We were there with a larger group and were looked after attentively. The menu is extensive and you are spoiled for choice. The food came to everyone at the same time, although almost everyone ordered something different. My moussaka from the daily menu (freshly prepared!) was both visually appealing and a culinary delight. The fine coleslaw from the salad bar was also homemade and extremely tasty. The farewell, again from the majority of the team, was also very friendly. It was my first time there and I was very impressed. Here you can really tell from the first moment: you are a guest with friends.

Have been coming to Joti's Meteora for 14 years. The quality of the food is always top. There are always new variants and innovations in the menu. The ambience is an absolute highlight, several completely different design areas in which neither cost nor effort has been spared. The staff is absolutely professional and courteous. The boss himself is a restaurateur with heart and soul and a pioneer in the catering industry. We are already looking forward to our next visit, keep it up…..

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit 4 Bereichen in unterschiedlichsten Einrichtungsstilen. Der Service ist vom Empfang bis zum Verlassen des Restaurants einfach perfekt gewesen. Die Speisekarte ist relativ umfangreich mit ausschließlich frischen Zutaten (die Lieferanten für alles sind aufgelistet). Große Auswahl an Vorspeisen, davon viele vegetarisch. Die Präsentation aller Gerichte auf Platten und Teller außergewöhnlich, teilweise am Tisch flambiert. Sehr leckeres Brot vorweg mit Olivenmus und Olivenöl ohne Berechnung obligatorisch. Die Hauptspeisen unterscheiden sich in großen Teilen von denen "klassischer griechischer Restaurants". Zusammengefasst: Wir hatten eine rundum gelungene Geburtstagsfeier mit 11 Personen in denen sich auch unsere 7-jährige Enkeltochter nie gelangweilt hat. Trotz einer 100%-igen Auslastung keine lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke und Essen.

Perfect attentive service, consistently excellent food, most of which differs significantly from that of "classic Greek restaurants", large selection of vegetarian dishes, also upscale wine selection, larger selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Everything about this Greek restaurant is perfect... the ambience, the staff and especially the food. We have eaten at various Greek restaurants, but Meteora beats them all in quality and taste. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The restaurant has different rooms, each with its own charm. Bread with olive paste, dressed with olive oil and fresh oregano, is served as a starter. The meat is cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. The fries served with it are very tasty, and you can get fresh side salads from the buffet. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back. We can only recommend this restaurant.

Great, it couldn't be better. It was our first time at Meteora and luckily we had reserved in advance. We chose this restaurant by chance while visiting Hanover. We were very impressed with the correspondence for the reservation. When we arrived we were greeted very friendly. When we read the menu we were positively overwhelmed because there are no usual dishes here. Lots of starters/mezedes and a limited main course menu. So we tried some mezedes. Which we were extremely excited about! If you want to eat something special, you should definitely eat here! When the boss prepared two of the mezedes directly at the table, our enthusiasm increased even more! There are people working here who love what they do. We'll definitely be back!😁 It was an unforgettable evening for us! Thank you for that!!!

..I visited Meteora several times several years ago and was always satisfied. When I visited again 3 weeks ago, I was honestly disappointed. The quality of the food was still good, but the taste was missing. I usually eat a low-salt diet, but that day I had to add salt to my food like everyone else sitting at the table with me. The service is nice, but slow. Despite a good tip (well over 10% of the bill) there was not a word of thanks. I found that disappointing.

You really can't complain about the staff here. Price/performance 4/5 Sure, it's a little more expensive. You pay for everything somehow. However, it still remains in the norm and it is really very tasty. Conclusion: For me personally (I have tested many “Greeks”) it is currently the best there is in the Hanover area. Recommendation! I was a guest in Hanover and was invited by my friends who lived there to “the best Greek restaurant in Hanover”. As a half-Greek, I was very happy about it and I have to say: it was great. From the greeting to the service to the farewell, I was able to enjoy the warm hospitality. The food was very tasty, the portions were reasonable, and the price was very reasonable for the ambience and delicious food. The toilet is also worth a visit, I found it very funny. Just fantastic! The Greek restaurant Meteora completely convinced me. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, exactly how you want it to be. The food was to die for – fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. The lamb dishes and the meze platter are particularly recommended. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. The price-performance ratio is also great. If you are in the area and want to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine, you should definitely stop by here. Absolute recommendation!

One of the best restaurants I've been to. Cozy atmosphere, amazing service (which is very rare in Europe), and the food is incredibly delicious. The portions are very large. While you wait for your food, you have free access to the salad buffet, as well as bread and olive oil. As a gift, after the meal they bring glasses of Greek vodka (it is very soft). I admire these people who work at Meteora and those who created this business.

We were invited to a birthday dinner. The guest room is very tastefully and lovingly furnished. The selection of food and drinks is very extensive. We had the Ena platter and were thrilled with the taste and quality. You get big dishes. The panna cotta and crème brûlée also tasted very good. The service was courteous and very attentive. Es gab ein 3 Gänge Menü welches absolute Spitzenklasse war, angefangen von den gemischten Vorspeisen über die verschiedenen Hauptgänge bis hin zum Nachtisch. Zwischendurch gab es von 2 sehr netten Herren Live-Musik. Die Location war sehr gemütlich und wir hatten einen eigenen Bereich im Restaurant. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal bzw. den Service. Dieses Team war nicht nur sehr engagiert, freundlich und professionell, es kam einem eher vor als ob man bei Freunden sei und hat alles gepasst. Danke für diesen schönen Abend den wir dort verbringen durften

The hype is absolutely justified. From the welcome to the farewell, a perfect restaurant experience. All waiters, kitchen staff and the boss are incredibly friendly, attentive and passionate about gastronomy. You can tell that everyone wants their guests to feel comfortable. The decor is atmospheric and harmonious with different areas such as the library and tavern. In addition, there is a meal that is harmonious, delicious and prepared from the best raw materials, from the greetings from the kitchen to the salad buffet and main course to the dessert. I'm really excited and regret not living in Hanover, otherwise I would definitely be a regular here. Thanks for a memorable evening.

Without an appointment, I was given a seat on the terrace at 6:35 p.m. on a Wednesday after waiting 10 minutes. The restaurant is housed in a corner building at a busy intersection, surrounded by 1960s functional buildings. In addition to the car noise, the cozy background noise on the terrace was enriched every 10 minutes by the annoying noise of a police or ambulance. After about another 10 minutes of waiting, without being asked, with a lot of noise and one-handed by the head waiter, in addition to the menu, a kind of TV screen was placed in front of my nose, which consisted of a tablet built into a wooden box decorated with two tiles. This tablet bombarded me with a Powerpoint presentation of meal suggestions. No one cared whether I wanted to see this presentation and have the wooden monster in front of my nose. I didn't need it and found the thing completely out of place. Many more minutes passed as I watched various cellars hurriedly pass me by. After ordering, a waitress came a short time later and, without asking, placed a bread basket and a small plate in front of me. There was a dark brown mass on the plate 😬 She poured olive oil over it and cut a few leaves from a potted plant with the scissors she had brought with her, which rained onto the table and said plate. The combo tasted quite good, but was also quite greasy. After 35 minutes of arriving, the first drink was finally in front of me. This impression of the service ran like a common thread through the hour. I had the starter platter for two people and was completely full afterwards, also because more than half of it consisted of fatty pastes and mayonnaise. Dolmadakia, grilled vegetables, choriatiki... none. During the hour that I spent on the terrace, I wasn't asked once by the waiters rushing past if everything was OK or if it even tasted good or if I needed anything else or or... instead I was asked by the head waiter jovial words and a wet hand patted on the back. I had to make it clear that I wanted to pay by standing in the aisle ready to leave and waving my cell phone. Thank you, I don't need this experience again.

On my last visit to a charming restaurant, the Meteora, I received an extremely warm welcome. The ambience of the restaurant is not only beautiful, but also remarkably varied. I found the romantic area particularly impressive, which is perfect for an intimate dinner for two. A kind of library conveys a sociable and at the same time cozy atmosphere, while the meditative area with its tasteful design invites you to relax. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to visit all of the rooms, but there are said to be other interesting areas that round off the experience. To start my culinary evening, I was served an ouzo wine mix, the taste of which immediately impressed me. The starter, baby calamari in a spicy tomato sauce, combined with feta cheese and fresh rocket, was a true taste experience and prepared my palate perfectly for the following main course. The pork medallions in a creamy Metaxa mushroom sauce were not only visually appealing but also tasted excellent. The portion was more than enough, so I was full and satisfied. I would particularly like to highlight the service, which was consistently friendly and accommodating. Here, as a guest, you feel truly welcome and in good hands. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. A visit is worth it not only because of the excellent food, but also because of the warm atmosphere and the unique ambience.
