Bei Alex in Hannover

Unfortunately, we discovered yesterday that the gyros we ordered to go was completely dry and not fresh at all. It seemed like it was from the day before. The souvlaki, on the other hand, was fresh and juicy. The fries were also extremely dry. The iceberg lettuce was already brown at the cut surfaces, so it wasn't fresh either. And all this for €68! If we had eaten in, we would have sent back the gyros and the salad. It's a shame; it used to be better.

A little piece of Greece right in the heart of Misburg! The food tastes like it's cooked at a Greek family's home – fresh, lovingly prepared with the finest ingredients. I especially want to highlight the hospitality: warm, attentive, and genuine. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Greek food and a great atmosphere!

We went to Alex's again today after a long break. Compared to our last visit, the food was still super delicious, top shelf! I was pleased to note that the portions were actually a bit larger than our last visit. We were completely satisfied. And of course, we'll be happy to go back.

Good old Alex from next door. Here, you'll always receive friendly service. Special requests are always accommodated. My tip: Follow the chef's recommendations. Always something special and even better than the norm. When the weather's good, the large terrace opens.

Yesterday we were AT ALEX's for the first time. It was exactly as we wanted it to be. The owner is so warm and friendly, as are the staff. The food was a dream. Yesterday we had lamb fillet as a recommendation and it was perfect and the price/performance ratio was unbeatable. The whole thing was an evening where you could have stayed forever. Many thanks to the entire team!

I've liked the food for years. If you want to give minus points it is because it is a rather small restaurant, it is clean and tidy and there are no damaged chairs or benches, but due to the size you get the acoustic noise of the backdrop, which doesn't bother me but can bother me. The employees and the boss himself are super friendly. Just as you would expect from a family business.

It was there for the first time and I was very pleased.

Not suitable for vegans, we called ahead to make sure they had something for us, but then they only had oily unseasoned rice with vegetables, not even a dessert.

Food super tasty. Service very friendly and helpful. The beer garden is a great place to sit and enjoy.

First of all, the salad was very tasty and the Corfu plate was great, the gyros were so good, you could have continued eating forever.

I can't fully understand the many very good reviews. To eat Grill plate Quantity ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price performance ⭐⭐⭐ Reason: Fries at best like in a snack bar, Giros unfortunately very dry, skewers were good. But just for the skewers, which were really good, the price is not appropriate. You could eat everything else, but there was no real enjoyment. You get full, no more, no less. I simply expect more from a restaurant. If the quality had been right then the price would be absolutely reasonable.

Today we ordered gyros and souvlaki to take away. Food was fresh and tasty prepared. The only thing that wasn't that good was the fries. We will be back.

Our absolute favorite Greek. Price/performance great. The food is always delicious, you are always warmly welcomed and good service is very important here. If you order food to take away, it's always ready on time, you don't have to wait and it's still hot when you get home. A restaurant that simply understood what makes a good restaurant. Absolutely recommended, even a longer journey is absolutely worth it.

Memories of "everything used to be better" came back when I was served delicious food with friends at Alex's for the first time. A tidy restaurant, a friendly boss who serves quickly and perfectly, the quality and quantity of the food is great, even the slightly smaller but very cheap dishes for lunch. The menu's excursion into the pizza area was also great. Highly recommended, we often stopped for lunch there, never had anything to complain about, until next time.

That's how gastronomy has to be. Had lunch there. Very accommodating and friendly. The food is plentiful and of very high quality. Everything tasted good and the price was also very good.

After our favorite Greek restaurant in Garbsen closed forever, we are looking for a new favorite Greek restaurant :) Today we were at Alex's and the first impression was great! Were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table. Service very nice and friendly. The food came fresh, warm and quickly. We had 1x Alex platter and gyros gratinated. Before that, a tomato soup and small. Salad. The food was very tasty. Gyros gratinated were too “saucy” for my companion. But all in all - we'll be back :) Thank you for the hospitality.

Hello, yesterday I ordered something from Imbiss Alex and I specifically said that the gyros should be cut into small pieces but they were cut off large and the meat was very dry, the fries were very finished and I don't even want to talk about the salad, I was there for a very long time Customer but that was the last time

A small, cozy family-run restaurant. It is always well attended. You can order food and pick it up and also have it delivered at certain times. We have been regular guests here for years and it is always advisable to make a reservation. The portions are already big, so I can hardly manage the grill plate, but you can have leftovers packed away.

Food was good as always… except this time the gyros were a bit dry and too salty… but otherwise it was great and highly recommended… will be back

Nice little restaurant with delivery service. Everything so far is absolutely top. Unfortunately, prices have increased dramatically in the last two years. Which is normal these days. But the portions on the plate in restaurants and in delivery services should not be smaller. Unfortunately, this was clearly noticeable. But the taste is still outstanding.

Super Essen , guter Service der es mit unserer Gruppe nicht leicht hatte da wir erst 20.30 da waren und alles durcheinander bestellt haben und dann kamen noch Gäste von uns nach Küchenschluss doch der nette Chef hat es noch ermöglicht das die Nachzügler noch frisch und lecker Steak bekommen haben! Respekt an die Küche und den Service ! Das nächste mal kommen wir früher und bleiben länger :) DANKE das dass alles so gut geklappt hat.

Eben haben wir bei Alex unser Abendessen gehabt. Das Essen ist lecker. In dem Restaurant ist gemütlich und wenn man an Tisch ist, ist es nicht eng. Also gibt es genug Abstand zum Nachbartisch. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Ohne Zweifel gebe ich dem Restaurant fünf Sterne. Und gestern hatten wir bei Alex klein Familienfest gefeiert. Wie erwartet sind wir sehr zufrieden. Ein recht kleiner Raum, allerdings ist der Platz gut genutzt. Das Essen war reichlich und sehr lecker. Toll gewürzt und schön saftig gebratenes Fleisch. Das Knoblauchbrot mit Zaziki kann ich auch als Vorspeise empfehlen, wenn man genug Hunger mitgebracht hat :)

Wir haben Heute das erste mal was "Bei Alex" zum liefern bestellt. Das Essen kam pünktlich, heiß und gut verpackt an. Der Fahrer war nett und hat vor der Lieferung nochmal Kontakt aufgenommen, um mitzuteilen das er jetzt auf dem Weg zu uns ist. Das fand das richtig gut! Nun zum Essen: Das Gyros war sehr gut, ich hatte nicht ein fettiges Stück dabei *toll! Das Filet war zart, die Suzukakia gut gewürzt, das Zaziki war sehr lecker. Der Tomatenreis war gut, der Beilagensalat war ok, die Pommes waren uns zu wenig gewürzt, da mussten wir nachsalzen. Rund um waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden wieder dort bestellen. Kleine Kritik! Hätte ich nicht bei Google Maps, bei allen griechischen Restaurants in der Nähe aktiv nach einen Bringdienst gesucht. Hätte ich euch niemals gefunden. Da ihr nicht bei Lieferdiensten gelistet seid wäre ein Flyer im Briefkasten echt hilfreich... wir hätten uns dann schon vor 2 Jahren kennengelernt ;-)

Waren heute mal wieder zum Mittagstisch bei Alex und wie immer war es super lecker. Immer wieder gerne

"Bei Alex" ist in Misburg d e r Grieche mit Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Ich war dort immer mal wieder essen. Die Qualität der Speisen schwankte von sehr mäßig bis richtig lecker. Gestern war es lecker! Mein kritischer "Mitesser" war mit seinem Souvlaki zufrieden und mein "Salat Alex" war üppig mit Parmaschinken belegt und appetitlich angemacht! Das dazu gezapfte dunkle Einbecker ist ein angenehm süffiges Bier. Für meine "Bessere Hälfte" nahm ich das mit Feta gefüllte Schweinefilet mit kretanischen Kartoffeln (gegen Aufpreis) mit, was sich als Glücksgriff erwies. Und das sollte auch mal erwähnt werden: Alex hat seine günstigen Preise trotz der Coronakrise und den erheblich gestiegenen Lebensmittelpreisen (noch) n i c h t erhöht. Das verdient Respekt und ist beileibe nicht die Regel.

Heute Essen liefern lassen... Suflaki überbacken mit Salat. Schnelle Lieferung, heiß + lecker und satt geworden. Danke + gerne wieder
