Food is typically Greek. Leg of lamb with green beans tasted good. Very mega friendly service. Huge location. Very pleasant to sit on the outdoor terrace. Ouzo is an obligatory addition. Recommended but not top class

Recommended Greek restaurant on the outskirts of Duhnen, only a few dunes separate the restaurant from the beautiful beach. In the evening you have a wonderful view of the sunset from the large terrace and you can make yourself comfortable with good food and drinks. The selection of food is quite large and everyone should find something, especially since the prices are comparatively humane. The portions are sufficient even for good eaters and taste appealing. These good qualities mean that it is better to make a reservation if you want to eat out at peak times, otherwise you may have to wait a long time until something becomes available. We also liked that the well-stocked salad buffet is included with most dishes. Children also get their money's worth here, there are several menus for them to choose from, starting at €7.50 including a drink and an ice cream for dessert, which will also please parents. Overall, highly recommended, but you should note that there are hardly any parking spaces and it is better to combine your visit with a walk on the beautiful promenade, the restaurant is a few minutes behind the Ahoi Bad.

We are absolute fans of Greek cuisine and therefore often go to the “Greeks”. But we haven't eaten something so tasty for a long time. It was fantastic. We'll definitely come back.

We were there twice on vacation and were always very satisfied. Although relatively large, very personal service. Ouzo on the house and ice cream for the children, unfortunately no longer a given.

Reservation recommended, good price-performance ratio. Keller was very attentive despite it being full. Quite a nice view of the sea.

I'm a bit torn. The food here is really tasty, but the overall ambience is more reminiscent of a large all-in hotel in Egypt. It was really incredibly loud, crowded and warm inside. Unfortunately, this cannot be said to be a pleasant evening. I think it's better to sit outside or maybe come at lunchtime.

We had previously reserved a table for 10 people. A positive thing to mention is that there are parking spaces in front of the restaurant. If you are there promptly, you can secure one. When we arrived at the restaurant, our place was first prepared so that there would be enough space for 10 people. The air conditioning, if there was one, wasn't working, it was unbearable heat. Our order was taken promptly and at the salad bar we were able to put together “a” side salad ourselves, with the corresponding waiting time in the queue for other guests. The food was brought to the table quickly; it tasted good and was plentiful. However, you had the impression of mass processing, as everything around you was constantly in turmoil and movement. On the one hand, I would actually bring the side salad to the guest directly before the actual main course, this would defuse the situation enormously, and on the other hand, quiet accompanying music would create a different atmosphere. So it has more of the character of a large kitchen... It's a shame...

Very tasty food, of which I would have liked slightly larger portions. The only thing that was a little difficult was paying with Mastercard because the card readers seemed to be on strike for all customers and then payment had to be made in cash.

We were there today and wanted to go out for something to eat with 8 people around 2 p.m. but that wasn't possible because it was lunch break I've never heard that before and the older gentleman at the service wasn't very friendly when he told us this

The food was good, the view outside was great, unfortunately we caught a snooty waiter who only honored tips from the sum of his own preference and - although there is a guest toilet available - depending on the tip, only on the public ones. Toilet points out - it doesn't work at all🙈

The Greek, with a sea view! Where is this already available in Germany? The food is excellent! Always delicious! Whether meat or fish, everyone will find something to enjoy here! One point deducted because there are hardly any parking spaces available! The Ahoi-Bad underground car park costs an exorbitant price of €5 per hour!

We had reserved a table and that was a good thing. When we arrived, people were already lining up. But it is spread out very well because the interior is very large and so is the terrace. The restaurant as a whole is huge! The terrace offers a great view of the mudflats, sea and Neuwerk from almost all seats. Everything is covered with large parasols when the sun comes out! The service is really good. Despite the huge crowd, the employees appeared calm and were very friendly and helpful. The food came quickly, although the short time in which food is served is not an important criterion on vacation. The prices are reasonable and everything was really tasty. Only the parking spaces... it's a disaster. Two handfuls of parking spaces for 300 guests (the number may actually be different). In addition, many "guests" stay on the beach, get something to eat at lunchtime and then block the very few parking spaces all day long. Either creative parking is required or a space has to be found in the settlements on Dünenweg and then you just have to walk a few steps. But it's always worth it under the pond!

Everything is simply 1A!! There were 5 of us there for dinner and everyone really enjoyed the food!! The personnel is very friendly and courteous!! We can only recommend the restaurant to everyone!

Very tasty Greek. Super Service. Beautiful sea view. Takeaway food, easy to order on site. Already tested several times. Unfortunately something was missing from the last order. After calling, this was immediately cooked NEW and delivered to the outermost door with compensation. Super nice service, absolutely recommended.

A very large and full restaurant in summer. Booking a table in advance is absolutely recommended. The waitresses are friendly and also very organized. This is not a given given the number of visitors. Drinks well chilled and the food is delicious. Despite many orders, the food doesn't take long to arrive. Many waited outside for a table, but we were not made to feel like we had to leave now. I only gave 4 stars for the ambience because it is very large. If we are in Cuxhaven again, we would like to come back again.

First of all... One of the best Greeks I know! Location located on the beach side on the outskirts of Duhnen that can easily be overlooked. Generous rooms and space inside and outside with partial views of the mudflats. The cuisine and menu is extensive in selection and offerings and is authentically Greek. Price performance is right, more than fair! Were there with a group of 9 people. The quality and preparation of the food is very tasty and to the point. Presentation and quantity top and plentiful. No matter whether starters, main courses or aftertaste. Had two large starter plates, lamb files, gyros etc. The service is very flexible, quick and friendly. Really recommended restaurant with great Greek cuisine. It's worth stopping by!

Unfortunately, the food was more than unsatisfactory. Fish fingers from Iglo. Redfish bland and tasteless. Lamb from the grill was ok, but not amazing either. Pork medallions dry, Metaxa sauce was "ok". I'm not a big fan of Greek food anyway, but unfortunately that was the worst I've personally had to date... And the price is very high. Unfortunately, our assigned service person was unmotivated and inattentive. Different service staff would have significantly improved the dining experience. Therefore, unfortunately not too many stars to give.

The food is absolutely top, unfortunately it is always very crowded and the service is very impersonal, frequent mistakes have been experienced and observed. Been there 3 times so far. If the weather is good, you can also eat outside with a view of the Wadden Sea. Prices typical holiday resort.

A really very good Greek restaurant. We ate inside with a view of the dunes and the sea. Both the view and the ambience in the restaurant are great. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The waiting time for the food was quite short. The extensive salad buffet, which comes with every dish, is very worth mentioning. The portions themselves were more than generous, freshly prepared and very tasty. Children get an ice cream for dessert, adults get a free ouzo with their meal. The prices are OK. The toilets were clean. All in all, we can only highly recommend the ambience, the staff, the quality and the prices.

Service staff often walked past the table without asking if anything else was wanted or if everything was OK. Food came very quickly, super tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately, the starter didn't come until the main course, even though it was ordered differently.

Service & food 1A .. nothing to complain about. 1 star deducted because it wasn't possible to park in front of the restaurant (the parking lot was full) and I was forced to drive to an underground car park some distance away where the hourly charge was €5...so show up very early to find a parking space or whatever pay and walk a few meters. But we would stop there again if we were in Cuxhaven again.

Top Greek restaurant, great view and location. There are parking spaces in front of the door. You can quickly walk there from the beach, without stairs. Children's chairs available. But if the restaurant owner has no experience in the restaurant field because he is young and his current age does not allow any experience. We have to stand here and say. If you order a fish dish for two people, you must learn with your chef how to calculate the price of additional dishes and you must consult your chef about the calculation of this dish because the chef is more important than the restaurant owner and he has experience about you, but unfortunately when I told you to ask your chef, your answer was so negative that you insulted your chef and said, “You are mine. The cook doesn't know anything. The chef only cooks and I am the one.” Who calculates the price of the dish? I paid a lot of money for a dish whose ingredients were all from Edeka, but I don't care because the real Greeks honor their guests, but you left me with my family and went there and didn't care, it's German- Greek and non-Greek in origin, because of the taste and because of the dishes from other cuisines that are not Greek that I found on the menu. As I am a 5 star chef with 24 years of experience in restaurants and hotels, I advise you: you must consult your chef about the price list and if you and your restaurant are of Greek origin, you must respect the taste and elegance You those who love Greek food and don't prepare any dishes outside of Greek cuisine because that's a shame when I walk into a kitchen and find Greek spaghetti carbonara on the menu. I wish you much success, take my criticism with grace and learn the art of management well before becoming a restaurant owner so that you can be proud of yourself for being a Greek restaurant owner. 60€ A plate with 3 small fish fillets, 2 pieces of shrimp and an Edeka shrimp stick!!!! Your excellent location and sea view are the reason for your fame, not your food, which for me and the customers who understand what Greek taste means is not Greek, but unfortunately frozen food and not handmade. The only Greek restaurant we know of where there is no ouzo before or at least after...at least not for every guest. Some guests, apparently "premium guests", get up to three ouzo per visit and occasionally. Others who obviously don't eat and drink below a certain value like we do today. At the neighboring table, the drinks were refilled several times. Some service employees are impersonal and pragmatic. They're just doing their job... Nevertheless, the food is very tasty and good, and the portions are still sufficient. If you have a very big appetite or are hungry, you should fill your plate at the salad and cold appetizer bar. There are beautiful views of the sea and Neuwerk, especially from the restaurant's outdoor area. We don't know whether the difficult parking situation at the time has improved.

Went here for dinner for the first time today. Reserved a table the day before. We were quickly taken to our seat and a short time later we were able to place our order. With the drinks, each adult received an ouzo on the house. A little later the food was served. Large portions and you can get a salad from the salad bar with the main courses. Friendly and competent employees. There are also meals for children up to 12 years old. Good price/performance ratio! Would love to come back Were here for dinner for the second time. Very nice restaurant with an outdoor area almost directly on the dike. The view is heavenly. We had a starter and main course and it was delicious. There is a salad buffet with a huge selection. Whether tomatoes, green lettuce, corn or cucumber fresh to put together yourself or the already prepared salads that I didn't know before. But you can try everything at a buffet like this, which is very worthwhile, so I found a new favorite salad that I would never have thought of. Everything the ♥️ desires, very fresh and colorful. You should just hurry up if you want to eat the salad first, because the main course came very quickly, which I found very positive. The staff was very nice and helpful. We wanted 2x tzatziki in advance, the waiter said, take one first because they are big and you can then order more. He was absolutely right, because then we wouldn't have been able to finish the main course😉 We were there around 5 p.m. and got a spot, but you should make a reservation if you want to eat later or outside wanted to sit because as our meal progressed it became more and more crowded. Conclusion....... I can fully recommend the restaurant, the food and service were top!! I'd love to come back!

We ordered beef liver today, the expectations were high, but the disappointment was even greater. Three naked slices and seasoned with two heaps of rice, no onions and a huge dollop of yoghurt mosses??? Lovelessly and with a shrug of the shoulders. Never again, what a shame

Wir kommen seit Jahren zu El Greco zum essen wenn wir in Duhnen Urlaub machen und waren immer sehr zu frieden leider hat die Qualität im El Greco enorm nachgelassen Gyros kein Geschmack Katoffelspalten sind ein Matsch wie Kartoffelgratin der Krautsalat am Salatbuffet ist so grob das i ic hn nur mit Messer und Gabel essen kann. El Greco hat sich nicht nur für uns Erledigt.

Modern restaurant, openly furnished with a terrace in summer and a beautiful view of an extensive water/river area. The menu is well-stocked with many dishes to suit all palates. The food and drinks we consumed were consistently very good and the service didn't lack anything.
