I'd never experienced a Greek buffet before. My kids and I were absolutely thrilled. It was incredibly delicious, had a huge selection, was regularly refilled, and the staff were very friendly.

Buffet for 20 euros. Food was served at a good temperature. Would definitely go back. Very large selection, very large quantities.

We received a very warm welcome, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and we partook of the buffet for dinner, which was very varied and delicious. We highly recommend everything there! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely eat here again! Great 👌🏻👍🏻 A reservation is probably a good idea here!

Personally, I don't find the food that tasty, but that's a matter of taste. If you eat something, you should definitely order à la carte. I don't recommend the buffet. The staff was friendly, though, so I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars.

We spontaneously went to Yamas Restaurant for a buffet dinner for two on a weekday. The service was mixed, sometimes friendly and attentive, sometimes hectic. However, refilling the buffet with plastic Tupperware containers was an unusual sight for us. The selection was very good, but most of the main courses weren't really warm. The price was reasonable at 19.90 for the buffet, and the drinks were moderately priced. After a recent vacation in Greece, however, the taste was bland. Still, the price/performance ratio was okay!

A Greek all-you-can-eat restaurant. You'll get a great meal here for a small price. Great service and great food.

We went there twice during our vacation. It's really cool, an all-you-can-eat Greek restaurant. It's super delicious and, in this case, really cheap! The only thing I missed was some fruit for dessert. The waiters are also super friendly and attentive.

Best Greek restaurant! Truly great, we ate there with small children. Everyone knows each other, there are many regulars, and the buffet food is simply fantastic. The selection is huge, the meat is high-quality, and everything tastes top-notch. You should definitely go for the buffet. Funnily enough, many years ago we saw a guest insist on ordering a la carte, despite the chef's recommendation. The result: the chef went to the buffet and put together the gyro plate himself. :-)

We were there today with two families. The welcome was very warm! We were shown directly to our seats without any waiting time. The staff was always very attentive and friendly. Used dishes were always cleared away immediately. Additionally, we all ate from the buffet, and no requests were left unfulfilled. It was noticeable that the food was regularly refilled by the waiters. It wasn't cold, and everything was very fresh. Anyone who leaves here hungry has done something wrong. Very nice service and a fantastic buffet

Yamass completely won me over! The food is fresh, homemade, and delicious. A very nice buffet with a rich, delicious selection. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm. You immediately feel welcome. The Mediterranean ambiance perfectly rounds off the experience. To finish off, we were treated to a glass of ouzo on the house – simply fantastic! A definite recommendation for anyone who loves Greek cuisine!

In terms of quality, service, and friendliness, it's hard to beat. I'd be happy to go back. P.S. Reserving a table is recommended.

The food (in our case, the buffet selection) was very plentiful and truly delicious! There's something for every taste! The staff were all incredibly friendly and worked very hard to ensure our stay was enjoyable. What made me particularly happy was that we were "secretly" asked if the children could have a lollipop. They usually ask loudly, and as parents, you end up with a salad if you say no. We give it full marks and will definitely be back!

Delicious gyro meat of very high quality. The sauces, salad, and fries are also more than satisfactory. The staff is also very friendly. Reasonable prices.

We ate here on holiday with four people and have to say the food was very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the children even got a lollipop at the end. We really recommend eating here.

We've eaten there several times for the buffet. The selection and quality are very good. Our two children always found something delicious at the buffet. The food was always well-refilled, and all the dishes were hot. If you like a buffet: there's no waiting time to order and a large selection, this is the place for you. And if you like Greek food, you have to go HERE :-) We'll be back on our next vacation, we promise!

We're currently here with seven children and five adults. Absolutely delicious, super friendly, and the kids had something to paint and play with – something we've rarely experienced before. Absolutely recommend it! And the price is more than justified! Parking is easy here too, and everything is completely stress-free. If we ever vacation in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

The buffet was amazing! Everyone was very nice and the food was delicious and reasonably priced, as you get a decent amount. Parking is easy on the street. You should make a reservation! Even if you don't make it until the evening you arrive, you should. If you're on vacation in Cuxhaven and haven't been there, you're missing out.

We had the buffet for four people. It was plentiful and always fresh. The service was also good; they asked questions and cleared dishes without being intrusive. The ambiance is a bit dated, but that doesn't detract from the experience.

We were here on our vacation. My son wanted Greek food, and since we lived nearby, we stopped in. We managed to get a seat without a reservation (very early in the season). In one part of the restaurant, you sit right next to the buffet, but that's okay. The price is very fair. For €19.90, you get to sample a taste of Greece, including appetizers and dessert. Everything was delicious. Sure, there were some convenience foods, but hey, we'll be back again; for €20, no one should complain! The tzatziki and orange cake were divine! And they even serve ouzo. The service was also very, very friendly. Unfortunately, this is only a vacation visit for us, but please keep up the good work!

If you haven't been here on vacation, it's your own fault. The buffet is large and should have something for everyone, and if you leave hungry, you've done something wrong. A tip for all guests: bring cash. We sat here and had to scrape together the money from three wallets; even the bank across the street had an ATM outage. Highly recommended.

Almost all of the hot dishes come with cream sauce and are very greasy. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't great either. Also, almost everything was cold. If you leave something on your plate because it's inedible cold, you're told that's not possible and that you should have stirred the display first. The dessert somewhat saved the day. Drinks only arrived after asking again, even though the place wasn't even full. The furniture could use a renovation; the bench was eaten through, and you could feel the boards under the cushions.

Works great if you have a reservation. Staff are friendly and reliable.

For €19.90, there's a buffet. It wasn't particularly appealing, so I chose a dish from the menu. The quality was truly excellent. The portion size was unbeatable. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't pleasant. Hectic, hectic. There was no sign of comfort. The service was attentive. A little more class would have been appropriate here.

We were unfortunately disappointed with the buffet. The gyro was completely oversalted and frozen! You can tell because it was shredded to tiny pieces. It has absolutely nothing to do with a good gyro, which is what defines a Greek restaurant! The rest of the food was also mostly frozen or canned! What a shame. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance and were completely surprised! All three of us chose the buffet and were thrilled. Everyone can find something to their liking here: varied and truly delicious! And the service was extremely friendly and gave us excellent advice, for example, on our wine selection. We'll be happy to come back again sometime!

We had a buffet there for the first time today. It was super tasty, everything was refilled very quickly if something ran out, employees checked whether they needed to refill anything TOP! Friendliness was also really great. I would definitely recommend it and this wasn't our last visit 😉

We go to Cuxhaven several times a year and on our first evening we ALWAYS go to Yamass, our favorite Greek restaurant. Eating with nice people just like in Greece! We prefer to eat typical Greek food from the menu, but the buffet is always very tasty too. There's something for everyone here and we've also thought about the younger and older children who might not just like typical Greek food and would prefer to eat pasta. There is also a very tasty and very fresh salad from the buffet, even if you order something from the menu. The dessert buffet with cakes, ice cream, pudding and much more. It's definitely not just the children who are happy. Warm, familiar service, great service and delicious ouzo make the evening a complete success. Very nice restaurant. We regularly eat a buffet here, which is offered daily. €20 per person. Very nice owners and service.

Was there for the first time then wanted to eat a buffet and I have to say I didn't like it because some things didn't say whether pork or which meat. Then things weren't even warm but really cold. You couldn't eat the potatoes like that. It's sad for the price, plus the fact that for a 2 year old child they wanted to collect four euros for the other 3 year old child 6 euros, which is already a lot. The children ate a few fries and pasta, we thought it was cheeky. We won't go there again...

I think the buffet is really good and tasty, the sauces are amazing, and the meat is so tender.

Not recommended! Everything looked delicious, but it was only lukewarm and totally tasteless. Some of the meat quality was poor. The entire buffet feels like it only consists of frozen finished goods. Half the range probably comes from the “Eiskönig” shop opposite. You should at least expect simple things like fresh fried potatoes or fries that aren't soggy. The tzatziki tasted musty and not at all like garlic. The plates had a smear film on the surface. When we asked whether everything had been good, we said no and were told by the waitress: "The buffet is not as good as the menu. It's about mass processing." In my opinion, a buffet should also be able to serve decent food. The whole thing had a 2 star all inclusive hotel food abroad vibe. Where the good reviews come from is a mystery to us. So if you really want to eat Greek, please don't go there!

Great buffet offering a wide selection of dishes and nice staff

We were in this Greek restaurant on Saturday March 22nd, 2025. There was nothing to complain about. The buffet had a huge selection and it was very, very tasty. Gyros in Metaxa sauce was my highlight. Service and boss very nice. Unfortunately my card didn't work because it said VISA, which is my regular bank card. Only possible with EC card, or preferably cash.

Great service and nice restaurant. However, by Greek I mean something different. The buffet is a mix of 1/3 Greek, 1/3 German home cooking and 1/3 junk food. I mean chili cheese nuggets on a Greek buffet? We didn't like it. Dessert was frozen goods from Coppenrath & Wiese and ice cream. Really disappointing. In addition, you would have to choose the buffet because the menu didn't promise what you wanted.
