You can't buy hospitality. The new owner bought the name and menu, but everything else is no longer what it was! There have been several chances since the change, but after more than 10 years the living room is changed.

Best Greek far and wide and by far our favorite restaurant. Often very crowded, early reservation is recommended.

Courteous and nice staff, reasonable prices. Enjoy your meal.

We often come here for lunch, unbeatable lunch menu with ouzo, soup, pudding. The quality of the food is excellent, the service is always nice.

Great Greek restaurant where the price and performance are really consistent. Due to the size of the restaurant it feels a bit noisy, but if it's tasty the restaurant is pretty busy. We really enjoyed both the gyros and the liver, and there was also a small side salad and an ouzo. We'd love to come back ☺️

The food was really tasty, but I thought the prices were about 20% too high. The service was attentive and courteous, but a bit very matter-of-fact and sober, not warm. It was also very busy, the store was certainly doing great, but that was at the expense of the coziness. Overall, all complaints are at a high level. To be fair, it should also be mentioned that there was an ouzo at the beginning and a small bowl of pudding at the end on the house. Overall, definitely a recommendation but not an insider tip.

Got a table here on an early Saturday evening without a reservation. The food was very tasty, the greeting from the kitchen before and after the meal was very nice and attentive. Can absolutely recommend.

Today I had dinner here with my family and we really enjoyed everything. The staff is funny and very attentive! From the starter to the dessert, everything was perfect👌🏻 We'd love to come back, even though we live about 70-80 kilometers away, but it's worth it ;)

Very nice restaurant, very friendly and sometimes very professional service. The food was mostly very good, but unfortunately the octopus was completely acidic and all the side salads were forgotten...

Stopped in spontaneously and was surprisingly very good in everything and ate plenty. Everything fresh and very tasty. We'll be back.

We understand rising costs and price adjustments. But if the prices rise and the portions become smaller, we're out.

Rooms are poorly ventilated. Please do not serve the sauce over the turkey steak; it would be better served in bowls. But bad air gets the bigger disadvantage.

We went there spontaneously without a reservation. Friendly, attentive staff even at late hours. Our drinks and food orders were brought very quickly and were delicious. The presentation of the calamari was also unusual but extremely tasty. Gyros with metaxa sauce and gratinated cheese were easy to eat. It even tasted good the next day. So we were definitely not there for the last time

Very good service, better food, good portions and quality

Went there yesterday (10 people) and the next appointment is set at the end of the month. I'm there 3-4 times a year. *Food: Good 1-Olives and bread for free as a snack, I think it's great, I always eat 1-2 slices of bread with olive oil (tastes simply great) with a pinch of salt until my order arrives. 2-The main course could have a little more meat or a ball of rice, the plate (see picture) looks pretty empty but tastes very good. 3 salad is really, but really nothing special, it's just there for decoration. 4-Chocolate mousse was also delicious. *Service: friendly, we received everything we ordered, quickly and without errors. *Recommendation: we got 10 ouzos and didn't drink all 10, so maybe ask who would like one first. - 1 star **see picture. and point 2

It was delicious, service was very friendly and quick. The ambience is quite simple but casual and ideal for sitting together in the evening.

Were there on New Year's Eve and were served quickly. The food was great and we didn't even have to wait 30 minutes

Update at the end of May 2024 And once again we were very positively surprised, as always warmly welcomed by the boss, like all guests, whether new or regular, is not self-evident. I followed the "house recommendation", tuna steak with vegetables and rice (I posted the picture), simply divine, I have never eaten such a good piece of fish grilled to perfection, unfortunately the quantity was so large that I only had half managed, which caused the boss to gasp, which of course was not intentional :). People ask for "recommendation of the day" and I've never been disappointed. Update May 2024 We moved a year ago, what a tragedy, we never thought that we could miss a restaurant with such good quality so much.

Very tasty food and courteous service. The leg of lamb with okra is highly recommended.

The food was OK. The stuffed grape leaves were seasoned a little differently than I know... The staff was very friendly, but the waiting times were very long! Not just the food, unfortunately also the drinks... The ambience was too oppressive for me due to the small number of tables.

Been back to El Greco for quite some time today. My meal was a disaster - the potato slices and gyro were rock hard. With the drink I had to pay EUR 24.50 for a meal that wasn't worth ten euros. I was there last time.

This restaurant is exceptionally customer-friendly, the food is very tasty and the meat is super tender and has a great grilled aroma.

Great Greek restaurant with very nice operators. Food and service excellent. Sometimes a bit noisy, but that doesn't stop us from coming here once a year despite the long journey.

Within 5 minutes of sitting down there were two welcome snacks and bread with olive oil on the table. The service is very fast, so you can order within 10 minutes and get the salad starter despite the full restaurant. The food was very good, the meat was very fresh and tasty. The staff is very friendly. All in all very successful and definitely recommended.

The food was incredibly delicious. I ate scampi and calamari from the grill. Everything was excellent. The service was excellent and the ambiance is beautiful. We'd love to come back.

We reserved a table for 6 p.m. and were kindly brought to the table. After 45 minutes we had to ask if we could order. Then we had to wait over an hour for our food. It's a shame we were here for our birthday. But apparently other guests were given preferential treatment, came later and got their food quicker.

Brilliant Greek, I ate very well, was almost full after starters, great selection of food, good price/performance ratio, simply top. It is always advisable to pre-order.

A restaurant you should definitely visit. My opinion may not appeal to everyone, but the food was good and plentiful, the service was courteous and the atmosphere inside and outside of Mingolsheim really appealed to me.

Very good food, very friendly and fast service, olives and enough bread as a greeting from the kitchen, 2x ouzo (aperitif and digestive) and chocolate pudding, all as a house bonus! Cooked very quickly despite many guests and absolutely delicious! For the first time I really enjoyed tzatziki because it was so finely tuned and chopped into small pieces.

A really good Greek restaurant, nice staff. Right at the beginning there is an ouzo and olives, as well as a bread basket. Enough time to choose from the menu, which offers a lot of choice. Everything was very tasty, gladly again. 😃

We went to the restaurant for lunch. Although the interior was already well filled and a birthday party of around 20 people arrived at the same time as us, the service was very friendly and seemed relaxed. We were greeted with a free ouzo and free chocolate pudding for dessert. The food was delicious. The only negative point: the outdoor spaces are right on the street, so passing cars disturb the peace

Place was dirty, I sat outside because I'm a smoker. Food was ok but the table and chair legs urgently need to be cleaned. If I had seen this before, I would have preferred to eat somewhere else.

Honestly? The cook should do an apprenticeship in the kitchen of the Klosterschenke in Lobenfeld/Lobbach. Dried out gyros and meat. The tzatziki is definitely not homemade. The 2 free ouzos don't help either. A pity.

And of course you should definitely make a reservation here in advance and be able to handle the noise easily, because there is always a good atmosphere here. The restaurant is simply wonderful!! Nice waiters, delicious food and perfect atmosphere. This is now my favorite restaurant. Be sure to try the medium-rare steak with potatoes and pepper sauce. Bravo!❤🇩🇪🇬🇷

Our favorite Greek! Everything fits there. Food great! Before you order, you get Quzo, olives and bread. You feel pampered and enjoy being there. At the end there is a small dessert and Quzo again.
