The restaurant has a beautiful exterior design with a view of the Rhine Bridge. The furnishings are also very attractive. Unfortunately, I wasn't at all happy with the turkey schnitzel - it was extremely bland and dry, I've never experienced anything like it. Unfortunately I couldn't finish it. The sauce, however, was very good. What struck me negatively was that after we had eaten, my friend wanted to finish her wine in peace, but they kept checking to see if our table was free. That left an uncomfortable feeling. The quick preparation of the food is a positive aspect. However, it bothered us that we had barely had the menu a minute before we were asked for our drink order - we hadn't even read the drinks list properly. Overall therefore 3 out of 5 stars.

It's been a long time since I've had such good Greek food.

I actually always enjoyed eating here. The service was friendly and the food was good. I recently had dinner there with a large group. You had the feeling that you had to go home immediately after eating. The portions (gyros gratinated) were also really small. A friend then ate the leftovers from others at the table because he was still hungry. Individual first names were called out from the cash register, which the waiter must have picked up that you still had to pay. Some of the group wanted to linger a while and have a drink. But as soon as the first ones left, the whole group was basically asked out. It was incredibly unpleasant to be called across the restaurant saying: "(first name) you still have to pay". I was neither on a first name basis nor would I like to be called that way. I won't be coming back. Some others in the reviews seem to have experienced something similar.

I was thrilled with the food, which was plentiful and delicious, but the service wasn't that friendly. Of course there's a lot to do at Christmas, but that's when you get the feeling that you're not wanted.

Good tasty food. Large portions will not disappoint. The greeting is pleasant and not intrusive, you are served an ouzo as a “welcome”. Of the starters, I particularly liked the aubergine gratin with a garlic topping, and of course the tzatzicki (that's for sure). Bifteki with Metaxasausse is simply top! The service is friendly (although everyone's hands are busy) and not too slow. Overall, a solid restaurant that you'll be happy to come back to.

The food was again super tasty. The staff is typically Greek friendly and also very quick. There are only two drawbacks you have to make: the salad bar is gray and the noise in the main room is too high. The ceilings should be taken down here, that would help. It is also mandatory to reserve a table, otherwise you won't get a place. Lots of Dutch guests.

Best Greek restaurant in Emmerich, the shop offers a lot of space for eating and is well known among Emmerich residents. The food tastes very good, regardless of whether you order classic gyros, seafood or a steak, the quality is generally good. The service is also good and the innkeeper also lends a hand. The ambience is classic Greek and therefore suits the restaurant. In summer, the restaurant even offers outdoor dining. Thanks to suitable covers, you are not exposed to the blazing sun even in summer.

Pleasant busy restaurant with tasty meat and salad buffet

We were greeted with a handshake, probably by the boss. This sweetened our first visit here and we were very positively surprised. Unfortunately the service was very cold and not very attentive. Of course, this could have been because it was the last Sunday before the well-deserved vacation. But no questions were asked about drink requests or satisfaction. The gyro was quite soft, not greasy, but the consistency wasn't crispy enough for me personally. The portion of tzatziki was very manageable, as was the portion of fries with the gyros gratinated by my husband. The gyro was swimming in the Metaxxa sauce. I know people who swear by this Greek one, and they didn't taste it at all, sorry about that.

Meze, everything convinients, and also the zucchini, eggplant not even drained on paper after frying. The pig for my medallions definitely died in vain and was then killed again in the frying pan. This place has been recommended to me as a lively, welcoming Greek restaurant with great food. Suffice it to say, it did not disappoint. Their hospitality is something very rare these days. The boss himself greets every patron, shakes their hands and exchanges few words. It only gets better from here. The staff is very efficient and makes sure that you get your drinks asap. I'm still in awe of how well managed and organised everything seems, especially in the kitchen. Waiting time is very short even on a busy day and special wishes are welcomed and always fullfiled. I am a regular at this point and I can wholeheartly recommend this establishment to everyone who values great food alongside friendly atmosphere.

Located on a dike on the Rhine near Kleve. You don't immediately expect a busy Greek restaurant. When we arrived the entire parking lot was full of (Dutch) cars. I understand why, the food is great! Large portions, lots of choice and fast. You will receive an ouzo both before and afterwards. Very friendly service. Definitely recommended if you are near Kleve.
