Friendly service, very clean, very tasty, just a bit too much *grin*

Just as you'd expect from a Greek restaurant (albeit a managed one). The ambiance was good (not perfect, but good). The waiter was extremely friendly and in a joking mood. We had a delightful evening. The food was excellent, and we were surprised by how full the restaurant was (which speaks for itself). Everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals, and the tzatziki was world-class – highly recommended.

The restaurant has had a makeover, and it's been a great success. Clean restrooms, delicious food, friendly staff, and all at a reasonable price. Fantastic! The only downside was that the beautiful new front door was opening a bit too often. It was packed inside, so it was warm, and a cold breeze from the door is not pleasant on your neck... Next time, I'll try a different spot, but I'll definitely be back ❤️😋❤️

Ordered a moussaka and a meat dish. The moussaka was mushy; the different layers were unrecognizable. The meat in the other dish was too dry and tough. The retsina was good, though, because they couldn't mess anything up!

The food was delicious, and the menu is very extensive. Requests like a different side dish are no problem. The service is friendly; it would be nice if they asked after the meal if you'd like a drink or something similar. There's parking in front of the door and a nice outdoor area. We had a reservation, and the restaurant was very busy.

We usually eat outside; the atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is excellent, and of course, the food is excellent, including bamies (okras), which I really enjoy. You can almost never order this at a Greek restaurant in the Netherlands.

What a crazy night out. The food was really a lot, but the quality was mediocre. The meat was quite dry and my girlfriend's rice didn't taste fresh either. Afterwards she slept with a bucket next to her bed last night because she was nauseous. In addition, a woman started chanting half an opera through the place. It certainly wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good either. It made everything very uncomfortable.

We've been eating there for years. As always, the food was excellent and the price was reasonable. The service is very friendly and accommodating. There were 4 of us and we were there spontaneously. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a nice place. Although the restaurant was very busy, we received the drinks very quickly and didn't have to wait long for the food. However, the main course didn't convince me. The souvlaki was consistently very dry, the gyros were juicy and the fries were hot and crunchy. When I raised the point with the waitress, they acknowledged it and brought an ouzo. The dessert was completely fine.

Classic Greek restaurant. Despite the crowds, the service and kitchen were very smooth! Grill menu for two people was delicious! Large portion. Total price around 70 euros for main course and dessert and four drinks. Recommended! We would love to come back!

Best Greek restaurant in decades

It's the best food I've ever eaten. The waiters are super nice. The owner family are also super nice.

Disadvantages of this Greek Restaurant: 1. No garlic in the Tzatziki, why not? 2. Sometimes the fries are lukewarm, we don't like French fries, why not regular fries? 3. Expensive, some dishes have become 5 euros more expensive 4. First drink, often takes a long time 5. Gyros sometimes too salty, very greasy and too small pieces

It was so crowded and hectic that it wasn't nice anymore. The lady who switched between reception and service was anything but friendly. After eating we were looked away from the table, so to speak. This was pure mass processing. At least the food was delicious. Unfortunately we won't be coming here again for the time being. Too bad.

We had made a reservation for 15 people for our company dinner at the Athens restaurant in Kleve, but unfortunately the evening was anything but satisfactory. As soon as we arrived we noticed that there was only room for 13 people. This meant that two of our colleagues had to sit separately from the group - a very bad start to an evening together. The seats were also extremely narrow, which further limited comfort. The waiting time for drinks was disproportionately long, and unfortunately the feeling of being welcomed as guests did not arise. The stuffy air inside made the stay even more unpleasant. When we then politely asked whether a window could be opened, the staff reacted unfriendly and unhelpful. The food, which was convincing in terms of taste, should be highlighted positively. Unfortunately, this could not compensate for the numerous negative impressions. In our experience, the Athens restaurant is not recommended for larger groups or a pleasant evening. Service and atmosphere urgently need to be improved.

Perfect and service also perfect

We went shopping in Germany for a day. And we ended up at this restaurant to fill our bellies. We had not made a reservation, but we were allowed to take a seat. We had 1 hour to eat something, but we didn't mind. The plates are well filled. We had to pack the rest and take it with us. We were very satisfied!

Despite reservations, we waited 30 minutes for our table. People who arrived later were more likely to have a table than us. It was more of a mass order, but the food was still very tasty.

We regularly eat there with our 3 children and it is always a pleasure for all of us, good food, large portions and for a reasonable price.

We came here without a reservation with 2 people and a small dog. Fortunately, there was still room and the dog was allowed inside (which is quite common in Germany). The servers were friendly and worked very hard. The food was fine. Good taste, sufficient quantity and, despite the crowds, came to the table quickly. Definitely worth repeating.

We wanted a table for 5 people at short notice on Sunday. 15 minutes later we were there and were shown to a nice table with enough space. The restaurant was completely booked and there wasn't another free table. Nevertheless, the food was served in a reasonable time. All guests enjoyed the food. The service was very friendly and asked at pleasant intervals whether we had any further requests. The evening couldn't have gone better!

Food was good and reasonably priced. Only the drinks were priced high like everywhere else. Service friendly. The atmosphere is exhausting because of the super loud background noise and the pungent smell of food that gets stuck everywhere, in your clothes and in your hair. Nevertheless, the restaurant can be recommended. We will soon prefer to use the lunch menu.

Chose this place based on the score. It was very busy, so we thought that was a good sign. However, the food was especially disappointing. A very "flattened" Greek cuisine. We mainly ordered a lot of mezze. There were no outliers. Apparently people mainly order grill dishes with lots of meat and fries. A Greek restaurant tailored to German customers. The real Greek flavors were missing. Regrettably...

Ridiculous place. My father made a reservation for 19.00. When we came in, the place was full, and other people were already waiting. After 20 minutes, the staff let 2 people that just came in sit at a table for 6 persons, while a group of 6 other people were already waiting next to us. After that happened, we immediately walked away. I can only wonder how this place is rated as the highest Greek restaurant in Kleef. This has to be the worst staff I've ever experienced in any restaurant.

Despite the great stress and high capacity of the restaurant, we were served with great friendliness. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented on the plates. We got the feeling here that we were being discriminated against as Dutch. All the Germans around us quickly received their food, only after threatening to leave without drinks and starters did they finally bring our food. Once but never again.

Good food. We sat outside under the tents. At one point it started to rain heavily, between the tents and along the tents it leaked quite a bit onto the tables. The food was certainly tasty, but could have been a little more extensive for the price. Meat with a scoop of rice or fries. For example, for this price you would expect both.
