Update on the rating 05/2025 - Some of the service was unrecognizable as staff, quite rude and not appropriate for the restaurant. The basic rules of etiquette for restaurant staff were not implemented. - At the salad buffet, apart from tomatoes and iceberg lettuce, there were only pickled vegetables to be found. - the plate for two people is still quite rich, but today has clear weaknesses. 1. the meat was very dry and the roasting strips were more like black burn marks 2. Apart from meat and fries, no side dishes such as rice, grilled vegetables or tomatoes, no tzatziki or any sauce You could order these separately for 5.50 euros I think that's part of a grill plate for two. Even mayo and ketchup are charged extra. - Drink prices in the upper segment, not appropriate for this restaurant Conclusion: we won't be coming back for a while because there are much better Greek restaurants in the area. Even some Greek snack bars offer better meat and gyros! That's why I deduct two stars! We were pleasantly surprised by the successful renovation of the former Italian restaurant. + The service was friendly and attentive. + There was an ouzo on the house in advance + Salad buffet for meals + the food, a plate for two, tasteful, very rich + Juicy grilled meat + Fries very tasty, rarely had such good fries - Rice a little watery and only lukewarm - Drinks prices in the upper range + small dessert on the house We'd love to come back!

Hello, it was very nice and funny. I was there with my girlfriend and a total of 3 children with strollers of course. We were able to order our food at the door even though it is a restaurant. So great. The waiter was very friendly. The fries and pizza Margherita were delicious. Next time we'll go in. We got hungry from so much playground 🤣 The fries were fresh and big and thick. Pizza was baked well. Thank you for the opportunity to order outside of the restaurant. Next time we'll come in. Keep it up 😃

Nice little local where you can have a warm dinner even after 9 p.m. The waiter gave us an ouzo to greet us 😂 we didn't know that - but it wasn't the last one we ordered either. My husband had classic gyros and I ordered the moussaka. Both meals arrived in record time and were very tasty. We have nothing to complain about and would come back at any time 😉 Thanks for the lovely evening

Well, not every day is the same. We were very unlucky. The meat was cooked very dry and we couldn't eat it. We then told the waiter at the table. He left without a word and came back later with the explanation that we should have said that we don't like dry meat, then they would have made it juicy too. Whoever believes it will be saved and everyone else will also go to heaven. Speaking of juicy..., the bill was succulent and full, without any concessions, no ouzo, no honey balls and no attempt to soften us up for this miserable meal. When we wanted to have a substantive conversation again, the waiter became rude, insulted us and said we had better leave (to put it politely). We have been to many Greek restaurants and it was nice, filling, friendly and tasty, but We never want to go there again. LG

Today we spontaneously went to Poseidon again for lunch....very tasty as always 😋 also great service. We can highly recommend it to everyone. We'd love to come back.

We felt very comfortable and the service was A1. The food once again surpassed everything. The lamb was spot on. That wasn't the last time we will spend a cozy evening there.

Very tasty food and very nice staff

We really enjoy eating out in Saloniki. The gyros baked with champion cream are particularly recommended. But everything else (I love the liver) is also recommended. Be sure to reserve a seat.

Ordered takeaway today and ate there too. The food was delicious and even the dishes to take away were packaged very neatly. We had 3 dishes and it was ready in 10 minutes. Real praise!

10/10 points! Service is friendly and incredibly fast, even at full capacity. The beer is easy to drink, and the gyros are juicy. Ouzo is always available to warm you up and help you digest.

The best "Greek" my wife and I have ever had! Super good food. Super friendly. very nice old building
