Delivery disaster!!!!!!!!!! Food was just slapped on, sauces and salads were missing. Food was cold and soggy...fries were like rubber. Never again!!!!!

A real deal! Superb service, even when the place was packed. The food was excellent. Everything arrived piping hot. The Loher grill platter was so generous for two really hungry guys that there was no need for seconds. All the meats were delicious and grilled to perfection. Fantastic! Thank you!!!

The best place ever! Great selection of food, excellent value for money, delicious, Greek charm abounds. They offer schnitzel, pizzas, pasta, and of course, Greek cuisine. It's the perfect location for tradespeople, offering a classic snack bar with an attached restaurant for more refined diners. Takeout (delivery service) is also available. I'll be back tomorrow! 😉

The food is outstanding in every category. We can wholeheartedly recommend it. We initially ordered for takeout, but everything we've tried has been incredibly delicious. Thanks to the grill!

A very nice Greek restaurant with a wide selection of dishes. The food is always fresh and delicious. I would describe the ambiance as standard, nothing extraordinary, but with a Greek flair. The prices are in line with the general average for restaurants in Wuppertal. The service was friendly and quick. We highly recommend it.

It's been ages since I ordered something from Loher Grill. The result is that the phone number of this now overpriced snack bar has been deleted. I ordered a taxi plate. A bit of gyro, a currywurst, and fries with mayo. I pay between €10 and €12 for that everywhere these days. When the delivery man arrived, I almost fell apart. The asking price was €17.70. That's outrageous and, in my opinion, borders on extortion. On top of that, the fries weren't cooked all the way through. The Loher Grillers could have done without the small salad with questionable ingredients that I didn't want. I didn't order it. Kalinichta Loher Grill - Not with me anymore. Your price-performance ratio is no longer right.

Unfortunately, as a traveler, there's no chance of eating here: "We only accept German cards" – in an area where you hardly see any Germans anymore. Definitely not recommended.

Delivery time is confirmed by phone as 30-40 minutes. If you follow up angrily after 75 minutes, the lady on the phone calls you "disrespectful." I find the blatantly false delivery time information disrespectful! My tone was neutral—my question about when my food would arrive was also neutral.

I'm always satisfied when I order something there and pick it up, or order it to go. A note for all those who are upset that the pizza isn't sliced. The staff is often so overwhelmed that they simply forget. When I order pizzas, I always say, as soon as they're ready and handed over to me to take away, "Please don't forget to slice them." Then they take the pizzas back briefly, open the lid, use the pizza cutter a couple of times over each pizza, close the lid again, and give me the boxes again. Then I'll take them with me. You're creating problems where there aren't any.

First of all: DO NOT CUT THE PIZZA FOR SURE THINGS!!! Even if you specifically request it when ordering over the phone... the baker is completely allergic to pizza cutters or anything like that. For years, you've been able to rely on the fact that the pizza DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE CUT!!! WHY OH WHY? Otherwise, very friendly and fast service/staff, and a very good (and ultra-greasy) hangover pizza.

One of the best restaurants in Wuppertal. I've been a regular here for 40 years. The Loher Grill is the perfect combination of a restaurant with an attached snack bar. From takeout to cozy celebrations, you're in good hands here.

Thankfully, I gave the place another chance and ate there, and it was delicious! The gyros, tzatziki, and fries were all absolutely delicious. I'm glad I gave the place another chance. I especially like the friendliness of the waiter—he was a very nice person! 5 stars

The food used to be great, and today I went there again after years. The staff is still super friendly, but my meal was unfortunately disappointing: burnt pizza rolls and soggy fries. Hopefully that was just a slip-up, but I won't be back for a while :(

What a cozy Greek restaurant! I ordered a schnitzel with Bolognese sauce and melted cheese, a crazy combination!! 😁 It was so filling that I saved half for the next day 😅. The beer was good, the staff was super friendly, and as a surprise, they even gave me a free shot of ouzo at the end. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We've been going to Loher Grill for a long time. Over the past few years, prices have steadily increased, portions have become smaller, and quality has deteriorated. Yesterday, we were so disappointed once again that, after almost 35 years of loyal service, we've decided to stop eating there for the time being. I hope Loher Grill returns to its former quality with reasonable prices.

The Loher Grill has been around since I was a kid. Still delicious and very filling. We were just there again, in the beer garden; the portions were very large again. When we paid, they also gave us ouzo and a little watermelon.

Hello, it was very nice and funny. I was there with my girlfriend and a total of 3 children with strollers of course. We were able to order our food at the door even though it is a restaurant. So great. The waiter was very friendly. The fries and pizza Margherita were delicious. Next time we'll go in. We got hungry from so much playground 🤣 The fries were fresh and big and thick. Pizza was baked well. Thank you for the opportunity to order outside of the restaurant. Next time we'll come in. Keep it up 😃

I've been there three times now and each time it got worse. I don't feel comfortable there at all. I recently ate a salad in the snack area there. Since I was in a hurry and there was no service for a while, I got up and went to the counter to pay there. The man kept telling me that he would come to pay soon and that I should sit back down. But my place was already occupied by other people! I told him that, but somehow he didn't understand it. He kept repeating in an unfriendly manner that he was collecting and that I should sit down. I had my receipt in hand, so what's the problem that I can't just pay quickly?

You'll get your fill here! The gyro plate is highly recommended! Together with a drink it costs a little over €20, but the next meal can be small or even non-existent.

Just ordered, cold fries and little to no sauce!!!!! Tzatziki 5€!!!!!! It's certainly fine on the plate, but in such a mini pack it's an outrage! The days when the Loher Grill was run by a married couple, with a small counter and with heart, are long gone since the renovation...what a shame!!! 😟😟😟😟 It was an attempt, we won't order anymore!

Yesterday we enjoyed the Loher Grill again. No. 93, crispy schnitzel with mushrooms, peppers and onions - delicious. And the 135, gyro plate - delicious. Everything delivered super quickly. Thank you very much❤ Due to illness, I had to cancel the reserved table. Instead we ordered food to be delivered. Cordon bleu and schnitzel Bolognese. Super tasty, super fast delivery from a very friendly driver. Thank you And all the best to the whole team for 2025❤❤❤

It's always great outside in the beer garden.

We were there spontaneously with four people and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The currywurst was an imposition - the sausage didn't seem to have even touched the grill, and the curry sauce was heavily watered, completely tasteless. The schnitzels were clearly frozen, which you could immediately tell from the breading and the even browning. For the quality offered, the prices are absolutely excessive and not justified. The quality is more like a snack bar, while the prices are at Maredo level. We will definitely not visit this restaurant (although the term “restaurant” hardly applies here) again.

Friendly service staff, upscale chip shop ambience. Unfortunately, my bifteki was of poor quality, poor in taste and an annoyance to the palate. Fries and tzatziki were OK. I didn't think €18.50 was appropriate.

A difficult review, written reluctantly, but meant honestly. A very rude, rude reception at the entrance from an older gentleman who lingered sullenly near the entrance until the end of our visit and delegated a little to the other very nice employees. He doesn't even come close to feeling the Greek hospitality that we otherwise know and love. Not a friendly word, not even when leaving the restaurant, although we greeted in a friendly manner and behaved in a waiting and polite manner. If that's one of the bosses, hopefully he just had a bad day... the nice lady who brought us to the table basically turned things around, otherwise we would have been gone again. But no matter, everyone has a bad day sometimes, to the main topic: The food was good, the service was quick, nice, polite, everything was good. Although the ambience feels like a restaurant, there is good "good old" Greek food here, like in thousands of good, friendly chip shops in the country. But, it's just not a great kitchen art, ok so far and you've known for years what you get here and you'll be full. Good portions! Dressing for the side salad, mayo, chips and Bernaise sauce is ready-made/convinience and not very sophisticated, but if it were cheap, that would be ok. Tzatziki and gyros, on the other hand, are great and “homemade”, delicious!!! The price level for the main courses and some starters is almost outrageous for this well-meaning "standard level"! It has also become more expensive in the last few months. Phew, like other reviewers, that means we've been here for the last time. Get the hang of it, be more relaxed and without greed, then maybe we'll see each other again sometime.

Simply very good food and great service. The food is highly recommended and as a special feature there is a special table with a tap. Here the beer is billed via a flow meter.

Yummy! We were here on a Sunday evening and it was full, which always speaks for the place. The restaurant is spacious and has two entrances, one for pick-up and one for the restaurant. We were greeted warmly and the service was great. You can also go here with a larger group, but reservations are important! The meat wasn't too dry and the portions were sufficient. In addition to pizza and pasta, there are authentic Greek dishes!

We can't even count how many times we've been here. Every time we are super satisfied. The price-performance ratio is definitely still right here and when asked what we can recommend, we always answer “everything”. :)

I often order from Loher Grill. The food comes super quickly and you get exactly what you ordered. I particularly liked the gyros dishes and the noodles. I've already eaten in the restaurant, the seating there is very good and the staff is friendly.

Pizza was completely soaked from too many olives that had given up their water. Also over-salted and underbaked. Once it arrived it was returned as it couldn't be eaten. First and last visit to this restaurant.

So let's be honest... Good for a snack bar, but not so good to charge 7.50 euros for an extra portion of tzatziki on the gyro plate that was delivered. A gyro plate costs 13.50 and I had to pay 21 euros. That is an absolute impudence. Some extra tzatziki cost more than 50% more than the entire meal cost. For me it was the last time to support such cutthroats.

If I go with the prices, I shouldn't go down with the portion size and the general quality of the food. That was nothing. Anyone who eats or orders something here is their own fault. But to each their own. The operators probably don't care.

Unfortunately, it has become incredibly weak and bad, price developments in recent years are hardly comprehensible, plus a sharp decline in quality; see other negative reviews. Quality was once XL-super 20-30 years ago regarding the first owner (father/founder of the grill - I knew him personally as a child); He was great, always friendly, always nice and there were great portions at great prices there. Unfortunately, today's grill at Loh is getting worse and worse. Prices like in a posh restaurant. What has happened to this cult store? In some cases, certain snack bars in the city are better and of course cheaper. We as a family have been loyal customers for decades, but unfortunately we've had enough now. I want the former founding father back! *sorry*
