Everything was great – one of our favorite restaurants in the area! Very tasty daily specials!

I celebrated my birthday at "Troja" yesterday, and I can honestly say it was absolutely fantastic. The food and the staff were exceptional. I haven't experienced anything like it in a long time. I also mustn't forget the kitchen staff, who conjured up some truly delicious dishes. A thousand thanks for this wonderful evening. We'll all be back. It's an experience you simply can't miss. And the value for money is definitely excellent.

The ambiance is lovely, but Greek food is not what I expected. The Greek salad was ridiculous – not even feta cheese or lettuce – I've never seen anything like it, and it was so meager. The staff was awful, chewing gum and unfriendly. They touched the glasses where you were drinking, not a smile, nothing. My first and last visit.

I had an amazing experience at Restaurant Troja! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a nice meal. What truly made our visit special was the excellent service. A big thank you to Valbona, who took great care of us throughout the evening. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!

The food was delicious, and the service was really attentive and friendly. The portions, however, were rather modest. Especially with side dishes like potatoes or fries, which cost the restaurant very little, I expected a bit more on my plate.

After several failed attempts, we spontaneously made our way to Troja – and were pleasantly surprised. The first impression from the outside suggests an appealing ambiance, which is confirmed inside. On a Thursday evening, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was attentive, friendly, and well-organized. We ordered a classic main course, appetizers for two, and a salad. All the dishes were freshly prepared and delicious. The wait was around 20 minutes, which was entirely reasonable. Overall, a very successful experience: My wife and I were thrilled and will be back. A definite recommendation for anyone who hasn't yet tried Troja.

The tasteful interior, subtle decorations, and fresh flowers on the tables create a welcoming, warm atmosphere. Especially in summer, the spacious garden is a definite plus – a refuge where you can forget about everyday life. Service & Hospitality: The service was attentive, friendly, and authentic. We were greeted personally, our table preference was taken into account, and minor special requests were easily accommodated. Despite being fully booked, the team didn't seem overwhelmed, but rather professional and dedicated. Food & Taste: The menu offers classic Greek dishes – from gyros, souvlaki, and bifteki to fresh fish and traditional appetizers. The ingredients were consistently high quality: crisp vegetables, good olive oil, freshly prepared side dishes. Particularly noteworthy are the seafood and cold appetizers, which surprised with their delicate seasoning and flavors. My dish (veal liver with onions and pepper sauce) was cooked to perfection, tender, and aromatic—the portion was generous. The dessert, a galaktobouriko with delicate puff pastry and a creamy filling, was also a successful conclusion. Value for money: The prices are on the high side for Greek cuisine, but what is offered, in my opinion, fully meets the expectations. Anyone looking for fresh, carefully prepared dishes in a stylish setting and who places particular emphasis on quality is in the best hands here. Conclusion: Troja im Grünen Kranz offers a thoroughly successful combination of Greek tradition, meticulous cuisine, and a pleasant ambiance. Whether for a romantic dinner, a meeting with friends, or an enjoyable family evening—you feel welcome and well looked after here. I would be happy to return and recommend Troja without reservation.

The water bottles arrive at the table open and are 100% refillable. The service didn't seem to understand this and couldn't or wouldn't help with the problem. The portion of fries served with the main course doesn't deserve to be called a portion. When asked if it was a normal portion, they simply replied yes, and no refills were brought. Customer service is unfortunately a foreign concept. Any other Greek would be ashamed of the size of this portion. Furthermore, the fries were hard.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The waiters were completely disinterested, and it even seemed like they deliberately avoided our table because we had asked at the beginning of our visit to be seated at the more covered tables rather than in the beer garden area with its gravel floor. The food was okay. Not particularly good, not particularly bad. When we finished our meals, we sat for 40 minutes with our empty glasses without a single waiter ever coming to ask if we had any other requests. We then paid because we were completely unhappy. I'm sorry about the money. There are hundreds of Greek restaurants in Munich, and since I come from a service background myself, I want to be treated like a guest on my day off. My conclusion: it seems the restaurant doesn't feel the need to serve its guests warmly and attentively. What a shame! Next time, I'll cook for myself!

Yesterday we visited Kostas again at Troja in Laim. As always, we were thrilled by the beautiful flower garden, the delicious food, and the incredibly friendly service. We're always looking forward to our next visit.

We've been coming here for years... but unfortunately, the service is getting worse and worse... There were eight of us. The appetizer arrived before everyone had their drinks. The gyro special (baked) wasn't hot (this was the second time this has happened...), but it was warmed up. But we sat there for a long time several times without anyone paying attention. In the end, we waited 30 minutes (in front of already empty glasses) to get the bill... The waiters stood around, watched the larger table eat, and chatted... It's a shame. We'll see if we come back again.

We celebrated our wedding here 11-12 years ago. Nothing was missing. We visited again today, after so many years, on July 6, 2025. I had a long journey here, but I had to see Kosta again. It was lovely and very nice. Thanks, Kosta, and everyone at the staff.

The food was tasty but there was far too little of it. Service was okay but slow. The atmosphere is cool and the prices are relatively high.

We went here for dinner and bowling. All in all, it was excellent. The only thing is that the bowling alley isn't in perfect condition.

We tried the restaurant based on the pretty good reviews, but weren't satisfied. Neither of us really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it 😔

Update from February 14, 2023: Although the restaurant was completely full, the quality was once again top-notch. The service was even better, hence the 5-star rating. Everything was perfect, thank you. We have enjoyed coming to this restaurant for many years. The menu isn't overly extensive, but offers something for every taste. Daily specials are offered separately. The dishes are prepared with love. The service is very attentive and charming. You simply feel at home here. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the garden is a great place to relax when the weather is nice. Keep up the good work. It's a culinary experience every time.

Not recommended for Mother's Day. It was also a big celebration, so we had to run after the waiters to get our reserved table. We then waited over 1.5 hours for the food, and another cold starter was available. When we complained and wanted separate bills, the service became quite cool.

Unfortunately we were a little disappointed. We waited exactly 68 minutes for our food. Everyone who came after us had already gotten their food, so I asked the waitress if our food had been forgotten. The food came to the table within 5 minutes but it was already cold. So eventually it was forgotten, but no one could admit it. The food was very messily prepared or not set up at all, just slapped on plates. Not inviting. Nothing for the eye. The taste was okay, but unfortunately everyone who ate the gyros and tzatziki or cream now has stomach problems. Either the food was already stale or it had been left in the heat for too long. Atmosphere very nice, but unfortunately service and food very poor when you consider the price/performance ratio.

Had dinner there today. 6 people including 2 children. We were served quickly. A meal was forgotten..... just for your information, we were the first guests there so there was no stress for the employees. The food came and we apologized briefly that a dish had been forgotten and that it would be there in 3 to 4 minutes. At the end of the song the others had finished eating and then the missing food came. That's not possible, we won't be coming back...

THE BEST GREEK OH MY GOD!! I've never eaten so well and for the price it's simply BOMB! The ambience is beautiful, you just feel comfortable. The service was just nice and respectful and I can't find any words for the food. IT'S SO GOOD THAT IT'S GOING SO GOOD I'M SERIOUS.

This place was my favorite for Greek food. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed on my last visit. Baby calamari 7 pieces each about 3 cm long from the grill with fries about 15 pieces for over 20 euros. A children's portion, that was completely different on our last visit in December.

Had a reservation with a club there. There was a misunderstanding with the nice waitress and the manager came to meet us, brought us the same meal with beef and we didn't have to pay anything extra. (It was pork) I thought it was correct and generous of him. The food tasted great. We had a long reservation and would have to keep our prayer times. Meines Erachtens der beste Grieche in ganz München und die schönste Deko. Wir kommen seit Jahren und es gibt keine besseren Lammkoteletts, nicht mal in Griechenland. Auch die Muscheln sind eine Sensation und ebenso das fantastische Moussaka und die hervorragend zubereiteten frischen Fische, wie z. B. Loup de Mer oder Wildlachs und auch Calamaris. Danke lieber Kosta für die vielen wunderbaren Abende. Und auch vielen Dank an den extrem aufmerksamen und excellenten Service.

We have been to Troy several times as we live nearby. The numerous events are a plus point. There's really a lot there. The food is average, I personally think that the other two Greek places nearby have a more interesting menu, but that's a matter of opinion. Unfortunately the service is below average. Every now and then something is forgotten or swapped around, which in itself wouldn't be so bad. But what's bad is the arrogant reaction. We rarely apologize; a few times, instead of an apology, we were insulted in the manner of "The food has now been prepared, we could be so flexible and take this (wrong one) too." That really doesn't make the visit enjoyable. Today it was particularly bad, there was a double booking and instead of an apology we were hit on. Kind of unprofessional.

I'm a waiter myself, and I can understand that guests can be stressful, but we still have to give the best... we hate the reservation, but no one paid attention to me and I stood there for 10 minutes then the restaurant management was so rude and gave me tables. .. then it took almost 15 minutes again until someone even spoke to me... and the whole evening like that... food was ok... what was great was the ambience... Unfortunately I'm disappointed with a place like this

Я заказала гирос и каламари .Шеф ресторана очень грубо разговаривал когда я пожаловалась ему на качество и количество . Некорректно спросил из какой я страны !? Вечер был испорчен и мне и моим друзьям .

I can only agree with the others: 3x 5 stars. Service is really top. The boss is gigantic and child-friendly in a way I have almost never experienced in Germany. We felt so good that we will definitely come back. The quality of the food was very good, all in all a bit loud and I wish there was some Greek background music but those are just small things.

Unfortunately not recommended. Never had such a meager mixed appetizer platter... some tzatziki, 2 dolmades, potato salad and a few fried vegetable slices and inedible meat patties for over 20 euros... only cash payment.. real cheek.

Great ambience and food was good. But a starter platter without meat was specifically ordered and there was still meat there. Despite being informed, there was only an apology but no compensation. Hence deducting stars. Please pay attention to statements and requests regarding food in the future!!

The ambience is great, whether you sit outside or in the pavilion. The menu had allergen labels, but just to be on the safe side I asked the waiter whether the dish was actually gluten-free. She then asked in the kitchen and confirmed it. The food was delicious and the drinks were good. Unfortunately we couldn't pay with the card and had to transfer the money, but that was probably just a temporary problem.

Gut gegessen, Service weniger als .Mittelmäßig. Ohne dass wir Wasser bestellt haben, wurde Adelholzener (nicht am Tisch geöffnet) auf den Tich gestellt (pures Leitunswasser), mit den Worten, es geht aufs Haus. Auf der Rechnung war das Wasser dann drauf. Das Personal fragt nicht nach, ob man noch etwas möchte. Hier heißt es warten, warten, warten. Den nochmals bestellten Ouzo (den wir bezahlen wollten) kam gar nicht. Etwas sauer gingen wir nach Hause. So schnell nicht wieder, erst wenn das Personal besser geschult ist.

eine halbe Stunde dauerte es, bis der Chef Zeit hatte, unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen, die zahlreichen KellnerInnen durften das anscheinend nicht. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber die Flasche stilles Mineralwasser, die unbestellt kam „vom Haus“ laut Ober, stand doch mit 5,90 auf der Rechnung, obwohl es nur Leitungswasser war… Nach Reklamation ließ sich keine KellnerIn mehr sehen….

War heute das dritte Mal dort die ersten zwei Male war ich sehr enttäuscht. Da man mir sagte, dass angeblich die Küche gut ist, habe ich mich wieder breitschlagen lassen und ging mit Freunde in das Troja Restaurant der grüne Kranz. Leider war meine Enttäuschung sehr groß. Wir bestellten ein Troja Teller für zwei Personen Das liest sehr zu wünschen übrig das Zeug was da drauf war weil vielleicht für ne halbe Person geschmacklos wenig und gar nicht für zwei Leute und was sie uns gesagt hat, das angeblich noch irgendwelche Tomaten kalte speise warme Speise sein soll, war nichts außer ein paar Bohnen, etwas Kartoffelpastete, die unappetitlich mit Mayonnaise angereichert war Und Zaziki naja Zaziki ist ja keine Kunst. Kann ja jeder machen dann Pizzabrot und eine Flasche Mineralwasser. Es geht hier nicht um den Preis. Es geht überhaupt von einem Vorspeise Teller angeblich für zwei Personen, was nicht einmal für eine Person ausreichend war 6 gebratene Zucchini Scheiben 2 gebratene Auberginen Scheiben Eine Artischocke aus dem Glas, ein Hackbällchen, und ein kuriertes Erbsenbällchen gebratenes. Und das hat 21,80 € gekostet, sollte für zwei Personen sein, ja dazu drei Schälchen je ein Esslöffel Bohnen, Zaziki und die polierte Kartoffel passierte mit Mayonnaise😅. Zu anfangs, bevor wir uns was raussuchen aus der Speisekarte, 🤣 ! Wir meinten dann, wir probieren es mit der Vorspeise, bevor wir weiter uns entscheiden irgendwas anderes zu essen und da wir sehr unzufrieden, unglücklich und geschmacklos und vor allem die Bedienung, die uns die Sachen so hin geschmissen hat, als wär das sonst irgendwas aber kein Restaurant… Haben wir eh auch kein Trinkgeld gegeben, zahlten 31,70 € Und sind dann gegangen. Feindselig den eigenen Landsmann gegenüber sind Sie auch, was wir so mitbekommen haben! Ein sehr un empathisch Personal. Man sollte diesen Laden schließen nichts gegen griechische Restaurants aber das ist das letzte was ich erlebt habe außer Bier schenken und sonstiges sind sie nicht wert die haben’s vielleicht schön dekoriert mehr auch nicht ein empathieloses überteuertes geschmackloses Restaurant. Das Personal kann sich mit den Kunden nicht verständigen. Es kann weder griechisch nach Deutsch noch Englisch. Wahrscheinlich haben wir die Kartennummern nur auswendig gelernt und servieren so das Essen, wenn jemand nach einer Beratung oder Vorschläge haben möchte, was der jenige essen könnte oder nehmen sollte welche Empfehlung es ihm gegeben wird das kann man vergessen. Ist nur ein Wunschdenken Für mich ist dieses Eck nicht wert es sollte aufgegeben werden geschlossen werden und was anderes reinkommen vielleicht ein Italiener wär besser würde sogar Boomen ! Wahrscheinlich macht es seinen Namen eine Ehre, trojanisches Pferd, trojanische Speisen spartanisch ³👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿 P.s. Als wir nachfragte, was für Vorspeisen kalt warm auf der Platte sind hat uns irgendwas mit Tomaten mit Dings und etliches gesagt nichts davon ist gekommen. Das einzigste kalte, was dabei war, war Zaziki und eine Artischocke aus dem Glas. Ich bitte euch Leute, ihr werdet dort verarscht die ziehen euch das Geld aus der Tasche und dann sind sie noch beleidigt wenn die kein Trinkgeld bekommen nach so einem Service und nach so eine und dankbare Behandlung. Sie erwarten eine Beratung eine Empfehlung, was sie essen könnten und dann schmeißt sie Ihnen einfach die Speisekarten hin. Also nein nein, Pfui, schwer enttäuscht minus minus minus mach den Laden zu schrecklich sowas

Insgesamt noch in Ordnung, jedoch wahrlich kein Highlight. Zwar ist das Lokal recht nett ausgestattet, die Portionen sehr überschaubar und recht 08/15 zubereitet - insgesamt Durchschnitt - nicht mehr!
