Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit unserem Besuch im Poseidon! Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen, und das gesamte Team war während unseres Aufenthalts durchweg aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir, wie liebevoll und selbstverständlich unser Hund behandelt wurde – das ist heutzutage nicht überall selbstverständlich und hat unseren Besuch noch angenehmer gemacht. Dafür ein großes Dankeschön! Das Essen war hervorragend: sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Auch die Portionen sind großzügig, sodass man definitiv satt und zufrieden nach Hause geht. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch ein wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Qualität, Service und Atmosphäre stimmen hier einfach. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Unfreundliches Personal und der Speisesaal war mittags nicht beheizt. Man musste mit Mantel essen. UNERTRÄGLICH!

Hab eine Vorspeise und eine Hauptspeise gegessen,Tarama und Herakles Teller, da ich in jedem griechischen Restaurant Tarama bestelle Denke daß ich es auch sehr gut beurteilen kann und muss leider sagen das es mir sehr gestreckt vor kam und ich leider nur an der Farbe erkennen konnte was es ist! Als die Vorspeise kam wurden allen einen Teller hingestellt aber die Portion war nur für eine Person,wir dachten vielleicht gibt es noch Zaziki aber leider nein!Der Herakles Teller war sehr gut das Fleisch zart und nicht trocken, hatte Bratkartoffeln bestellt und Pommes bekommen, wurden sofort nach geliefert 👍 ,der Service war gut und auch freundlich nur die Wartezeit etwas zu lange der Tisch neben uns kam später und hat das Essen früher bekommen! Als Willkommens Trunk gab es einen Ouzo und nach dem bezahlen einen Metaxa, alles in allem ein schöner Abend!

Ich habe schon bei vielen Griechischen Restaurants gegessen. Der gereichte Ouzo am anfang war warm, der darin schwimmende Eiswürfel tat dies auch nichts ab. Das Knoblauchbrot war ein normales Roggen, Weizenmehl oder Sauerteig Brot angeröstet mit irgendwas das nach Knoblauch schmeckte. Ich habe noch nie Bifteki mit Emmentaler Füllung bei einem Griechen bekommen dazu noch Bratensoße darüber. Auf den Lampen im Gastraum war eine rechte Schicht Staub. Die WC's waren leider nicht sauber. Leider kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren dort, um ein Familienfest zu feiern. Ich hatte im Voraus online einen Tisch reserviert. Es war genau der, den ich mir gewünscht hatte – nicht in der Nähe der Küche oder des Eingangs, sondern schön ruhig. Die Getränke kamen sehr schnell, und das Essen folgte nach etwa 20–25 Minuten. Alle waren begeistert, bis auf eine Fleischsorte, die Teil einer Drei-Gänge-Platte war. Das Tzatziki war zwar scharf, aber trotzdem sehr lecker. Das einzige Gericht, das sie nicht zubereitet hatten, war das Geflügelschnitzel (obwohl sowohl Hähnchen als auch Pute verfügbar waren). Normalerweise ist das in griechischen Restaurants kein Problem, und Bestellungen werden selten abgelehnt, aber vielleicht wollte der Kellner sich den Aufwand sparen, in der Küche nachzufragen. Trotzdem war es gut zubereitet. Ich kann das Restaurant empfehlen.

Ich besuche dieses Restaurant schon seit vielen, vielen Jahren – und das aus gutem Grund! Das Essen ist immer super lecker, das Ambiente wunderschön und jedes Mal fühlt es sich an, als wäre man für ein paar Stunden im Urlaub. Besonders schätze ich meinen Stammkellner, der seit Anfang an dabei ist und mich stets herzlich mit einem Handschlag begrüßt. Obwohl das Personal häufiger wechselt, sind alle Bedienungen immer freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ein rundum tolles Restaurant, das ich nur weiterempfehlen kann! 🌟

Typischer Grieche, das Ambiente, wie man es kennt, die Speisekarte ebenso. Das Service Personal war sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Die Preise sind absolut okay und es gab vorab ein Ouzo und danach ein Metaxa, auf's Haus. Was ich gut fand, es wurde mir angeboten die Beilagen auch zu variieren, das fand ich sehr gut, habe dann Pommes und Reis genommen.

Sehr gutes griechisches Speiselokal, sehr lecker und alles Gut gerne wieder, danke für die Aperitifs und Desitifs und das Weihnactspräsent.

Haben dort was zu Essen bestellt, Vorspeisen/Grilteller für 2... Das Restaurent war bis oben hin voll, Service war direkt bei uns haben zu unseren Bestellung eine kleine Flasche Wein bekommen und direkt einen Ouzo zum dort trinken. Waren alle super freundlich essen hat auch geschmeckt nichts zu meckern... Kann man nur empfehlen...

Nach längerer Zeit wieder da gewesen. Sehr freundliches Personal, Essen war lecker, aber Restaurant ist durch viel Besuch auch etwas laut. Bifteki bestellt, etwas langweilig mit nur 3 Häufchen Reis. Fritten oder frittierte Kartoffelscheiben wären eine tolle Ergänzung gewesen. Aber mit über 20 Euro nur für Bifteki allein einfach viel zu teuer im Vergleich zu anderen Griechen in der Region.

Der beste Zaziki den ich je gegessen habe, die 2 Suvlakis auch gut, leider habe ich beim Gyros wohl Pech gehabt, dicke Fettstücke und Knorpel dazwischen. Der Salat ist einfach Geschmacksache, meiner war es nicht, es fehlte für mich Karotte, Rot-und Weißkohl. Das dazu gereichte Brot war ein aufgeschnittenes Brot, kein Baguette oder so. Der Chef war total zuvorkommend und freundlich. Der Ouzo vorab war meiner Meinung nach auch von guter Qualität. Da ich mich wohl gefühlt habe würde ich nicht ausschließen noch einmal hinzugehen.

Ausgezeichneter Service, sehr leckeres und authentisches griechisches Essen. Wir lieben dieses Restaurant und kommen hier immer gern zu besonderen Anlässen mit der Familie und fühlen uns immer wohl :) vielen Dank!

Herzlicher Empfang. Wir saßen drinnen. Das Ambiente wirkte nicht wirklich griechisch. Ouzo und Haussalat. Freundlicher Service. Wir waren auf dem Rückweg in die Niederlande. Gyros und Rhodos-Platte. Es schmeckte gut, aber ich frage mich, ob tatsächlich Griechen in der Küche standen. Ich habe selbst jahrelang in sehr guten griechischen Restaurants gearbeitet und kann daher gut vergleichen. Was den Salat angeht, würde man normalerweise Krautsalat servieren. Meiner Meinung nach war das Gyrosfleisch nicht vom richtigen Typ und wurde nicht am Spieß serviert. Der Sasuki wird normalerweise nicht in Soße ertränkt. Aber alles in allem war es eine nette Pause.

Ich war das allererste Mal im Poseidon und bin sehr begeistert. Meine Begleitung war schon öfter und hat mir dieses schöne griechische Restaurant empfohlen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, der Chef persönlich hat seine Gäste begrüßt und immer mal wieder nach dem Rechten geschaut. Das Essen war sehr sehr gut und kam schnell an de Tisch.

Yesterday, we went to this Greek restaurant for the third time, and we've been very satisfied every time. The food is truly delicious, the prices are reasonable, and we always get a free glass of raki or ouzo before our meal and at the end of our bill (so a total of four glasses). Where else can you get something like that? 🤗 Plus, the staff have always been friendly and quick; we've never had to wait long. We're happy to come back. You're welcome to order! Awesome!

Good food, open quite late if needed, serious and polite service

We used to eat at this restaurant from time to time, and so far, nothing to complain about. While it's certainly not haute cuisine, the result is quite good, and usually the welcome and service are as well. During our last visit, on the evening of June 29, everything went well, right down to the bill. We noticed that the server had made a mistake on one dish (the Heracles plate was charged instead of the Poseidon plate), a difference of about €3. Not a big deal in itself, but as a matter of principle, we like to pay for what we ordered and ate, and no more. We pointed out his mistake to the server, and then... disaster struck! This dear gentleman spent five minutes explaining to me that if it was written on the receipt, it was because that's what I received, that there was no room for error, and that no matter what I ordered, it wasn't his problem. As it turned out, the difference between the two plates boiled down to extra lamb chops, which I didn't get, otherwise I would have pointed it out to him sooner!! But no matter what I said, he was calling me, in a barely concealed manner, a liar. His manager, a very brave and reckless man, was pacing around and muttering incomprehensible words under his breath, rather than taking control of the situation. A bit of a show... I had to get angry and raise my voice, until, reluctantly, the waiter finally corrected the bill. All while continuing to make innuendos. We left angry, upset, and deeply shocked by such bad faith. The result: a ruined evening, and clearly, they won't be seeing us again anytime soon! P.S. If by chance the manager of this establishment comes across this comment and has a human-sized ego, I'm perfectly willing to accept his most sincere apologies and reconsider my opinion of his restaurant. A word to the wise!

The ambiance and service were good...Unfortunately, the gyro was dry and not particularly fresh. But that could have been a slip-up.

We've been going to Poseidon regularly since I was a child, and every time the same gentleman greets us at the entrance in a highly professional manner and shows us our seats. The ambiance is very cozy and has a strong Greek feel. The columns and statues invite you to make yourself comfortable. Before dinner, there's a light snack to whet your appetite. The menu and the food, as well as the service, have never left anything to be desired in the last 25 years. We will be happy to visit again and again!

Very disappointing, the quality of the dishes has dropped significantly. Restaurant half empty for a Friday evening. Refusal of a glass of tap water to 1 child (after ordering 5 drinks with the dishes including 1 small bottle of water) Apparently customer loyalty does not count: "es spielt keine rolle" repeated twice by the owner of the restaurant, deplorable! After years of avoiding it, let's try it again. The dishes were carelessly prepared and the gyros were cut far too coarsely. Service was tried hard. When he asked if everything was OK and we answered no, he stopped briefly and apologized but immediately ran away. There was no further reaction from the operator. I would also like to warn you about the positive reviews and try out other Greek restaurants.

Restaurant "Poseidon" is the first place our family goes when we want to celebrate something special. Everything is right here: delicious food, large selection, very friendly and attentive service, great atmosphere. The portions are large, beautifully prepared and taste simply delicious. Only here do we enjoy lamb, elsewhere we are very careful with it. You get “Ouzo” for free before your meal. After the meal, men get “Metaxa” and women also get a sweet liqueur free of charge. This is a really great tradition. Fried potatoes here are simply heavenly: crispy and delicious. Veal liver is very tender. We also always enjoy the side salad, the dressing is particularly good. Grilled vegetables as an appetizer are also highly recommended. We really enjoy coming here and are happy to recommend this restaurant.

Normally we have a local Greek, but he was closed today and we spontaneously went to Poseidon. Food was absolutely fine. Ambiance is rather very dark and not as inviting as one is used to. But otherwise everything is fine.

There were four of us eating at Poseidon. We tried many different dishes from many starters to several main courses. Unfortunately, at the end of the day we really weren't happy. We were looking forward to delicious Greek food, but unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. Gyros Metaxa, for example, tasted like gyros cream sauce. Anyone who has ever had a good Greek meal should not try this Greek place. There is one positive aspect to mention: the waitresses were very friendly.

Normally I don't like going out for Greek food and so far I've only had "negative" experiences. My in-laws loaded, so I got over myself. I honestly can't understand the negative reviews. The gyros was soft and delicious (I know it completely differently), the lamb was tender as butter. My fish plate was delicious. I probably looked too young to get an ouzo, so I would have thought it would have been great if they had asked beforehand. For me it wasn't earth-shattering and not bad either 🙈🌸 The highlight for me was the super friendly staff. You were warmly welcomed and the obvious regulars were greeted like family. There was a bit of teasing; Of course you have to be open to that, I found it funny. I really enjoyed my visit, everyone was helpful and nice. The next time I'm on vacation in the area again, I'll come by again 🍀

We had a table outside the window. The entire window sill was dirty, dead insects, cobwebs, etc. Not inviting. Ordered Mousaka from the lunch menu. The price was calculated from the normal card. Quote from the waitress, you have to say that you are ordering from the lunch menu (lunch at 12.40 p.m.) Mousaka was extremely dry and quite bland. But you could help this a little with salt and pepper. Conclusion, been there three times now, three times a failure. There definitely won't be a fourth time.

Best thing first.. U get a free of charge Ouzo b4 the main dish 👍👍👍 Always good. I go there since it opened. The quality was constant. They have wine from greek, and the desert is very good. The amount is very good. You always can take ur leftovers home. The waiter is very friendly. Im always happy to see him. Over 20 years he is there 👍 You also can go there with groups. Parking is also available. If you very hungry this is the place to go, you wont get dissapointed. 🤝

Das hohe Preisniveau entsprach in keiner Weise der Menge und Qualität der Speisen. Der Eisbergsalat war mit einer Eimersosse sparsam angerichtet ( wenn man das so nennen darf); die Gyrosbrocken (!) zäh und geschmacklos; die Pommes latschig und nicht frisch. Der Preis für diese sehr kleine Portion einfach eine Frechheit. Einzig die Bedienung war nett und freundlich. Und das Lokal war am Freitag Abend für diese Uhrzeit ( schönstes Sommerwetter) sehr wenig besucht....🤔. Wir werden dieses Lokal in unserer Favoritenliste streichen und gehen wieder einmal mehr nach Heitersheim ins Vlachakis 🤫.

If you fancy tzatziki and sirtaki, then as a guest you are in good hands at the Poseidon restaurant. As regular guests, we were always able to experience very friendly and attentive service from Ervis and Thommy. The dishes are highly recommended and fine. Efcharisto at this point and we always look forward to coming back. ;)

A dark place. Really carelessly prepared food. Basically thrown on the plate. There is a lot of room for improvement. Price/performance is not right. I can't recommend it more.

Greek restaurant conveniently located on the B3. The subscription meals at lunchtime every day are offered at a good price/performance ratio. In the evening there are almost no dishes under 20€. There have also been some savings in quantity since the price adjustment. Soft drinks are offered for an average of €2.60 for 0.2l. The service staff is friendly and happy to help with any questions.

Belle terrasse, propre, très sympathique le serveur. L entrée à partager : tout est sorti de la boîte, le thon, les haricots blancs, le calmar les sauces aussi! L assortiment de viandes,rien de grec! Même pas le pain. Passer votre chemin.

All pretty tasty. Only the side salt was pretty bland and not that great. Service is nice and quick. Food also came in a reasonable time. The ambience is cozy and because the restaurant is "hose-like", it is not that loud even when it is full.
