We had a very relaxed evening with extremely tasty and rich food. The meat in my Elena plate was very tender, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The gratinated gyros with Metaxa sauce also tasted excellent. The piperakia and the tzatziki were just as tasty as were the drinks, which were well chilled. The Uozo before and after tasted the same. Thank you for the attentive and very friendly service throughout the evening.

Have been regular customers, especially at lunch, for years. Always tasty and good. I wanted to order two portions of gyros today and I was out with my dawdling dog. At the restaurant I was told that lunch was only available until 3 p.m. IT WAS 15.oo AND 30 SECONDS. Thank you for nothing and goodbye. I will eat elsewhere in the future. Too bad...

Perfect food and perfect hospitality!! That's how it was here until six months ago. New operators, ambience like a train station with stubbled furniture. Fast processing and no more comfort. After 40 minutes, the four of us, including the salad and food, were ready and outside again. Not even a farewell ouzo... It's a shame about the lovely evenings we've had there so far 🫣

We used to be regular guests, especially when it came to birthdays or other celebrations with 14 or more people. But the last two times were a disaster. Yesterday we came reserved with 12 people. Then we had to wait an hour to order drinks, but three drinks were forgotten. After another 45 minutes we were able to order food. After we had been there for 2.5 hours, the food finally arrived. Two dishes were completely wrong and in three other dishes no special requests were taken into account, such as no tzatziki. When this was pointed out, the tzatziki was scraped down and the plate was brought back. It's just a shame that the person in question can't eat tzatziki at all due to an intolerance and reacts to the leftover scraped tzatziki. The fries were soft, the rice was overcooked and some of the vegetables in the pan were still raw. Of the 12 people yesterday, three were satisfied. Similar experience the previous time. No consideration for special requests, long waiting times and two of the guests received their food 30 minutes before the rest of the guests. Since one order from the menu was already sold out (the scampi), something else was simply prepared without asking (the shrimp). However, said guest doesn't like shrimp. There was no offer to order anything else, nor was there an apology. She shouldn't act like that. The price was also that of the shrimp, which is of course more expensive than that of the scampi. We won't come again.

We have enjoyed coming here again and again for several years. The food is delicious, the selection is large and the service is always very nice.

We've loved going to our favorite Greek restaurant for years. However, the last few times there have been increasing mistakes and things that stand out. Occasionally it takes a little longer, but only when it's really, really busy. Unfortunately, there aren't enough staff in the restaurant, and the restaurant can't help it. What we noticed is that the portions vary greatly, and that's not okay for us. Especially the children's portions vary so much that it's unacceptable. One time there are two pieces of meat on the plate (8x15cm) and plenty of tomato rice, and the next time there's just one mini piece (5x5cm) and very little rice. Dear Taverna Pegasus team, please, please return to your old reliability. The quality of the food is top-notch, and the service is still super friendly.

Attention hygiene problem! Dogs were simply allowed into the restaurant. This is an absolute hygiene problem.

Everything was really great and recommended. Actually you can only give 5 stars, but there were dogs in the restaurant. Unfortunately, dogs do not belong indoors in front of or outside areas.

We were there on Saturday with a birthday party (13 p.) and were absolutely disappointed. After asking several times, the food came after about 90 minutes, although we can only speak of improved snack quality here. Then each plate came to the table individually with a gap of 15-20 minutes, so that eating together was not possible. Two meals were only delivered upon request, one starter was immediately forgotten, but I tried to charge for it later. There was no apology; instead, it was pointed out that the other visitors would also be waiting that long. The service was haphazard and uncoordinated. By the way, my lamb fillet was a mini portion consisting of three thin strips (well under 100 grams) and fries, which you could also count (€ 26.50). Afterwards I went to MCD to get my fill. The kitchen was overwhelmed, the service was unfriendly and unprofessional and clearly failed in its intended purpose. Unfortunately, this store ruined the entire birthday - it's a shame! Conclusion: In other restaurants you feel much more perceived as a guest and are treated as such, and this tavern doesn't offer good value for money. Recommendation: 0

Never again. If you make a reservation you will have to wait over 90 minutes for your food. People who ordered more than half an hour after us received their food earlier.

The food is good but that's about it. The last few times I was there we had to wait over half an hour before we could even order the drinks. The staff there is simply completely overwhelmed.

You come as a stranger and leave as a friend. The food is delicious and fresh (baguette).

Unfortunately totally disappointing today. We went to dinner with our kids today. First we had to take our drink orders because a group had come and wanted to sit there. We had reservations! After our food order we got our starters but not much happened after that. After 45 minutes! The waitress came to us and asked us what we had ordered because she had lost the piece of paper with the order. We waited a whopping 1:10 an hour for our main course. When we asked if the children could at least get the fries, they said “yes, come” after another 15 minutes we all had our food. BUT… my daughter forgot the fries that we were waiting for again. All in one, a no go!!!

There were two of us there to eat gyros. ➖Gyros were sold out ➖The service was totally inattentive - we wouldn't even be asked if the food was tasty - also not whether everything was okay - We didn't feel like we were taken seriously by the waitress and they didn't pay attention to us - We weren't even offered an ouzo, which we thought was a shame because it was always offered - In addition, even though we were still sitting there, the doors were opened wide to bring in chairs, which made it very cold For us it was just a negative experience. Also overpriced for the performance!!!

We had a spontaneous meal there yesterday after a tournament and we were completely happy with our choice. We have never had better Greek food than in this taverna. The service was first class, super accommodating and the kitchen was quick. We have never experienced this high quality of meat and preparation so well. We'll be back!! Kind regards from Berlin

Sind hier schon öfter Mittags zum Essen gewesen. Nach wie vor sind die Speisen lecker, aber die Portionen vom Mittagstisch sind etwas "geschrumpft"!!! Positiv ist, das der Mittagstisch sich wöchentlich ändert bzw. abwechslungsreich ist und genügend Parkplätze direkt vorm Restaurant sind. In den Wintermonaten ist es jedoch etwas kühl im Fensterbereich zu sitzen.

We were there with the family and there was nothing to complain about. The food was very good (all four dishes), the service was friendly and quick. The time of tablecloths is also over here, and for environmental reasons this is absolutely understandable (a lot of water and energy is saved here!) The tables are cleaned after every meal, before the new guest arrives. It is essential to make a reservation here on the weekend, and you may have to wait a moment even then (there is then a welcome drink "What are you drinking like that?" We'll be back, no question!

Ambience is good, service is quick and personal. The food is tasty and plentiful. The prices are reasonable. We plan to stop here every time we visit the cemetery.

I love this restaurant. Sundays are our Pegasus Day. You can argue about taste, but Pegasus suits my taste 100%. It's best to reserve during peak times.

We've been going to Pegasus for years and have almost always been satisfied. We took a break and realized that it wasn't as tasty anymore. we're taking a break again. We think it's a shame that the quality is declining.

We went for dinner on Saturday. There were queues in front of the door, we had booked a table at 6:30 p.m. Everything was fully booked so there was a lot of noise. That was really tiring. But the food was super tasty. But that's why we quickly left the tavern for this reason. It's a shame

On a Sunday afternoon we were overcome by an appetite for something Greek (despite the Hanseatic city and the fish offering) and we went to the Pegasus tavern. There we found a nice place on the veranda and then we had very tasty food, both the tomato soup and the main courses really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, because we were drivers, we couldn't try the ouzo on offer. They would certainly have made a good contribution to digestion. Conclusion If you go to the Greek in the north of Hamburg then go to the Pegasus tavern

The service is excellent and very friendly. It's a pleasure to drink a beer here and eat delicious Greek food. In warm months you can always find a place outside and inside. Pro tip: If you don't want ouzo, say so too!

We have been customers for a long time and eat there regularly. We also order just as regularly. It is now possible to order online, which is of course more convenient than having to call a busy restaurant. Both for us and for the owners. This is now the second time that the order has been ordered 2 hours in advance and the food hasn't even started on the pick-up date booked online, which, mind you, was confirmed by email. We then had to wait 40 minutes on site because the store was of course full (as always). We're giving it one last chance. If you offer pre-orders, you have to have them on the list and deliver them on time. You can handle 5-10 minutes, but not 40 minutes! Of course the food was good as always… But it just doesn't make up for it.

We went to Taverna Pegasus for the first time on Monday following a recommendation. We got a table without a reservation, even though it was very busy for a Monday evening. We sat comfortably outside. The terrace is “covered” with umbrellas. The food was super tasty. The meat is typically Greek seasoned and very juicy. The fries are crunchy without salt. Salt and pepper were on the table. This means that every guest can add salt or seasoning to their own fries and dishes. The portions were very filling. The price-performance ratio is right. The map is extensive and clear. Everyone should find something here. There is a star deduction for the service. It took quite a long time until we got a card. Guests who arrived after us had their drinks before we could place an order because they had personally contacted the staff and were obviously known. Even during the visit there was no response to hand signals. Either the staff overlooked it or intentionally didn't respond to it. When we wanted to pay we signaled this to the waitress and she said that her colleague would be coming soon. This took just under 15 minutes. Of the three waiters, only one was allowed to collect. The service should be worked on, then things will be fine.

A really great experience, we haven't eaten so deliciously in a long time and so we have a new regular restaurant. Certainly not cheap, but worth every euro. Fantastic food, a good and cozy atmosphere and great staff. Even when it's full, there aren't long waits. 👍

We're trying again... after it didn't work the previous time... again Waited a long time for waiters to place orders, e.g. for drinks about 20 minutes, when we reordered for food (tzaziki) received, the food was already cold, if you say THAT, we should please stop coming....... we'll do that too!!! The restaurant Taverna Pegasus is located in the Bergstett district of Hamburg. The welcome is very warm. Here we are happy to welcome every guest, regardless of skin color or religion. You can feel at home here. The range of dishes on offer is enormous. The choice is not easy. The atmosphere is attractive and cozy. The warmth of the service staff will fulfill almost every wish. Whether big or small, there is something for every palate.

There is nothing to complain about, food was on the table pretty quickly, service was extremely friendly in the beautiful sunshine on the terrace. What more could you want ❓🤷🏽‍♀️We would be happy to come back ❣️

Went to Pegasus for our birthday dinner today because we really liked it in December and were greeted with a handshake. Everything was fine and we spent over 3/4 hours. Waited for the food, just wanted to go to Forne to ask. And then the food came too. When I went up to the front to pay, there was a mix-up between the tables and the bill, which the service noticed in a timely manner. But I had already paid with a card. After a lot of back and forth, I got the difference back in cash. The service apologized to me very often for this mix-up. The boss wasn't so enthusiastic and the two had some more (in my opinion) discussions. My partner then ordered another ouzo to kill. We had only just drunk it when the boss came to collect. So that we don't make any mistake, it wasn't because I paid. I/we would have thought that the boss would come and say sorry, on the house. That's something I would have liked. Sorry Pegasus. They have actually been customers from the very beginning and have always been satisfied, but that has changed since Sunday. I ordered the gyro pan with fresh mushrooms. Apart from a few 3rd choice champions from the can, there were no mushrooms to be found. In response to my complaint, I received one In response, I'll report it to the kitchen and that's it. When I didn't give enough tips, I was insulted a bit by the waiter who was allowed to collect. But the store is running so you can also become a bit megalomaniacal.
