Sind hier schon öfter Mittags zum Essen gewesen. Nach wie vor sind die Speisen lecker, aber die Portionen vom Mittagstisch sind etwas "geschrumpft"!!! Positiv ist, das der Mittagstisch sich wöchentlich ändert bzw. abwechslungsreich ist und genügend Parkplätze direkt vorm Restaurant sind. In den Wintermonaten ist es jedoch etwas kühl im Fensterbereich zu sitzen.

We were there with the family and there was nothing to complain about. The food was very good (all four dishes), the service was friendly and quick. The time of tablecloths is also over here, and for environmental reasons this is absolutely understandable (a lot of water and energy is saved here!) The tables are cleaned after every meal, before the new guest arrives. It is essential to make a reservation here on the weekend, and you may have to wait a moment even then (there is then a welcome drink "What are you drinking like that?" We'll be back, no question!

As always, we were very satisfied. In our opinion the best Greek in the north of Hamburg.

On a Sunday afternoon we were overcome by an appetite for something Greek (despite the Hanseatic city and the fish offering) and we went to the Pegasus tavern. There we found a nice place on the veranda and then we had very tasty food, both the tomato soup and the main courses really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, because we were drivers, we couldn't try the ouzo on offer. They would certainly have made a good contribution to digestion. Conclusion If you go to the Greek in the north of Hamburg then go to the Pegasus tavern

The service is excellent and very friendly. It's a pleasure to drink a beer here and eat delicious Greek food. In warm months you can always find a place outside and inside. Pro tip: If you don't want ouzo, say so too!

We have been customers for a long time and eat there regularly. We also order just as regularly. It is now possible to order online, which is of course more convenient than having to call a busy restaurant. Both for us and for the owners. This is now the second time that the order has been ordered 2 hours in advance and the food hasn't even started on the pick-up date booked online, which, mind you, was confirmed by email. We then had to wait 40 minutes on site because the store was of course full (as always). We're giving it one last chance. If you offer pre-orders, you have to have them on the list and deliver them on time. You can handle 5-10 minutes, but not 40 minutes! Of course the food was good as always… But it just doesn't make up for it.

We went to Taverna Pegasus for the first time on Monday following a recommendation. We got a table without a reservation, even though it was very busy for a Monday evening. We sat comfortably outside. The terrace is “covered” with umbrellas. The food was super tasty. The meat is typically Greek seasoned and very juicy. The fries are crunchy without salt. Salt and pepper were on the table. This means that every guest can add salt or seasoning to their own fries and dishes. The portions were very filling. The price-performance ratio is right. The map is extensive and clear. Everyone should find something here. There is a star deduction for the service. It took quite a long time until we got a card. Guests who arrived after us had their drinks before we could place an order because they had personally contacted the staff and were obviously known. Even during the visit there was no response to hand signals. Either the staff overlooked it or intentionally didn't respond to it. When we wanted to pay we signaled this to the waitress and she said that her colleague would be coming soon. This took just under 15 minutes. Of the three waiters, only one was allowed to collect. The service should be worked on, then things will be fine.

A really great experience, we haven't eaten so deliciously in a long time and so we have a new regular restaurant. Certainly not cheap, but worth every euro. Fantastic food, a good and cozy atmosphere and great staff. Even when it's full, there aren't long waits. 👍

Went to Pegasus for our birthday dinner today because we really liked it in December and were greeted with a handshake. Everything was fine and we spent over 3/4 hours. Waited for the food, just wanted to go to Forne to ask. And then the food came too. When I went up to the front to pay, there was a mix-up between the tables and the bill, which the service noticed in a timely manner. But I had already paid with a card. After a lot of back and forth, I got the difference back in cash. The service apologized to me very often for this mix-up. The boss wasn't so enthusiastic and the two had some more (in my opinion) discussions. My partner then ordered another ouzo to kill. We had only just drunk it when the boss came to collect. So that we don't make any mistake, it wasn't because I paid. I/we would have thought that the boss would come and say sorry, on the house. That's something I would have liked. Sorry Pegasus. They have actually been customers from the very beginning and have always been satisfied, but that has changed since Sunday. I ordered the gyro pan with fresh mushrooms. Apart from a few 3rd choice champions from the can, there were no mushrooms to be found. In response to my complaint, I received one In response, I'll report it to the kitchen and that's it. When I didn't give enough tips, I was insulted a bit by the waiter who was allowed to collect. But the store is running so you can also become a bit megalomaniacal.

What's wrong with the service? We have been coming since it opened and have always felt comfortable and eaten well. But the last 4 times were really disappointing:( we were ignored and only after we politely asked after 20 minutes if we could order something was our order taken with a bad-tempered "Yes, please"... on the previous visit we were given the wrong food twice brought and we left the restaurant without eating. We no longer feel welcome there :( despite visiting several times a week and giving good tips... it's really a shame...

Das Preis -Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Das Essen ist lecker. LEIDER etwas ungastlich, durch nicht eingedeckte Tische. Auch eine ziemlich laute Atmosphäre. Nichts für ein Essen für ein "Liebespaar". Das Essen kommt zügig, auch da LEIDER zu schnell, da wir die Vorspeise noch nicht mal beendet hatten. Nach 1 Stunde waren wir wieder draußen! Also wer es eilig hat, ist dort gut aufgehoben.

Es war früher besser. Sehr viel Unruhe Tische wurden früher Eingedeckt und ziemlich laut Nur noch ein besserer Imbiss. Die Speisen sind noch sehr gut der Service nur noch mittel mäßig.

Completely sufficient and also reasonably priced for the quality. And even though it was very full, you didn't get the impression that they wanted to "get rid" of us, even though we mostly talked and hardly ate anything. We were served in a friendly and attentive manner by all the employees present. Since the table was only a two-person table, the dishes were cleared away quickly. Unfortunately also the bread with the delicious dip - we would certainly have eaten all of that. But we were distracted and the plate was gone very quickly. Here we would have been happy to be asked whether the plate could be cleared away. I deducted one point because, as many others have already mentioned, there was a very high noise level. In my opinion, an attempt should perhaps be made to dampen this down a bit by making changes to the spatial concept. On Friday it was also very warm in the rooms, so as a non-smoker I voluntarily went outside to smoke to get some fresh air and cool down. Finding a good solution for everyone here is probably impossible; there will always be some people who are too warm and others who are too cold. If I have the choice, I would rather have my meal too warm than too cold. The only thing I can say about the parking situation is that when we arrived around 4:20 p.m. there were still enough - free - parking spaces available on the Taverna premises. Due to construction sites in the area and politically motivated abolition of parking spaces in Hamburg, parking spaces could certainly become scarce at a later date. My conclusion: I felt warmly welcome and ate wonderfully at a reasonable price. And one thing is clear to me -> I will come back :) Promise.

I ordered various dishes to take away. The gyro was excellent. Unfortunately, the cold appetizer platter was a complete disappointment (it was always my favorite before!) I've never experienced it here before! Tomatoes, grape leaves, coleslaw and feta were missing. If the Greeks don't have feta, the world is doomed... Overall I had a salad for €16.

We were there 2 days ago. We actually wanted to have lunch but the menu didn't appeal to us at all. We were only given one normal menu at the table instead of three. Pretty quickly a boy came to our table and wanted to take the order. Upon request, he brought us two more menus, which reminded me more of a snack bar and not of a good restaurant. Then the order was placed and the food was brought to us by a gum-chewing waiter with a pigtail. Chewing gum is a no go. My meal was Giros with fries. Ordered mayo was missing. After drawing our attention, three plastic bags were slammed onto the table. I would have expected a bowl here. Well, it fit the snack ambience without a tablecloth. The Giros reminded me more of a sliced ​​neck chop with a few black pieces in it. Well, fries too. In addition, the waiter wanted to clear away even though there was still one person eating. Never this store again. We used to be regular guests under different owners and were always warmly welcomed by the waiters at the time and the ambience, the service and the food were top.

Super friendly staff. Typical Greek hospitality. Totally warm. The food is super tasty and the portions are really big. My favorite is the classic gyros in Metaxa sauce, so delicious! The meat in general is great. Not grilled to death, as is often the case, but grilled juicy. Lamb fillet is excellent! Small drawback, the atmosphere is rather dark but there are good seats, not too cramped. The wine selection could be a little more and I miss a Greek beer such as. Myth camp.

Unfortunately I have to change my rating. Was here again, I have to say the food was good again, but the motto is now quantity instead of quality. The table was assigned to us but wasn't wiped down and wasn't set until we were seated. We received a menu, drinks and food in a reasonable time. After 50 minutes the waiter came and asked if we wanted to pay (and not even for dessert) as there were other guests waiting for the table. We also noticed the process at other tables. I think it's a shame that you can no longer eat there in peace because it's really delicious there. It's a shame that it's always just about the money.

Last Sunday I called Taverna Pegasus but only had an answering machine. Because I couldn't get through on the phone, we just went there at random. We were very kindly assigned a table for two. It was at an unused exit door. It was like pike soup. I asked for another seat, which was possible immediately. It was our first time in the Pegasus tavern and we were impressed by the thoughtful and very friendly, guest-oriented staff. Everyone feels responsible for every guest! Not like in other restaurants: a colleague comes straight away... But when an eaten plate was at the end of the table or a glass was empty, an employee always came and either cleared it up as he passed by or asked if anything else was wanted. We've actually never experienced anything so great before! An absolute feeling of well-being!! We felt like we were in good hands as guests! The taste of the food was very tasty. The first thing we had was fresh, warm bread. (and Ouzo😉) The salad that was served beforehand was crunchy and had a delicious dressing. Limitation: the baked sheep's cheese could have been a little longer so that it was really crispy. I had beef liver with gyros. The liver was perfectly grilled and delicious, the gyros tasted good, but the size of the meat was more reminiscent of goulash and unfortunately didn't have enough roasted flavor. My husband had a grill plate with gyros, the meat skewers were also tasty and okay, but also the gyros like mine. What we also thought was great was, although we only said afterwards that my husband would rather have rice instead of roasted potatoes, he got roasted potatoes and rice. This means that you are happy to respond to the guest's wishes. It was our first but certainly not the last time at Taverna Pegasus. Just a little tip to the manager of the restaurant, this door should sensibly be marked with e.g. B. Tesa Moll must be sealed, because it seems to be known that there is a draft because gaps have already been plugged with paper. Nevertheless, the ambience is very pleasant, although noisy, because the restaurant is very busy.

Instead of setting up a table for guests like before when reservations were made, this time we were completely overwhelmed and they were desperately looking for a table for us. Since there was no table for us despite a reservation, they wanted to put us in an unheated side room. We refused and pointed out that we had actually made a reservation. The boss shrugged his shoulders and said everyone here has reservations. Nevertheless, he found us another table and left us standing there. We followed him and he grumbled at us to wait. 5 minutes passed and they moved 2 tables apart so that we sat in the middle of the room. There is no feel-good atmosphere here anymore, since there was apparently a change of ownership last year, it seems to only be about profit here. It's like a fast food restaurant here. You are dispatched in order to occupy tables as often as possible. Unfortunately, as a guest you notice this clearly. It was already full before, but the guest was still the focus. Empty glasses are not cleared away, empty bottles remain. There was no asking if you wanted something to drink, I had to organize my own cruets from the neighboring table. Tables are cleared like in a canteen. The food and drink menu has been significantly reduced and now has a style like any other snack bar. The big hit was when we ordered the bill. The waiter said we should come to the checkout because the boss couldn't handle it. We only received an invoice when we asked, which was pretty annoying. I told the boss my displeasure about the service conditions. He immediately became aggressive and said he wouldn't lick our shoes. We should be happy that we got a table after we didn't like the table in the unheated room. After I said that the service had nothing to do with a restaurant and informed him about the conditions, he kicked us out of the restaurant and said people like us weren't needed here. It's clear to me now too. You only want guests here who eat their plate as quickly as possible, pay and make room for the next ones as quickly as possible. Satisfied guests are not wanted at all and apparently you don't even need them because the food is really good. Conclusion: If you want to have a nice evening with your family or wife, this is the wrong place for you. But if you don't care about any of that and want a quick, good meal, you'll definitely find what you're looking for here. The food is very good, but unfortunately not from the charcoal grill like it used to be.
