We love Greek cuisine, but this restaurant was the worst dining experience ever. Everything was prepared with poor-quality ingredients. It was inedible. The fries were poor quality and fried in old oil. There was no olive oil. We received rancid oil in the dirty condiment jars! All the dishes were left on the plates… The value for money is disproportionate. The terrace where we sat was dirty. We will avoid this place completely. We do not recommend it.

Simply brilliant for the second year in a row! We were able to spontaneously reserve two outdoor seats. Not a given for a Saturday during the holiday season! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our order was taken quickly, and the food arrived very promptly. Everything was absolutely delicious—we'd love to come back! Efharisto!😊

We've been coming here for a long time, and year after year, the food on our plates has become less, the service (especially the rudeness of the chef) and the ambiance have gotten worse... We're really disappointed, because the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not justified.

There were two of us in the dining room and we sat comfortably. The food was plentiful and delicious. The price/performance ratio was good.

I don't know where the bad reviews are coming from; we were very satisfied with everything. The young waiters were very friendly, the food was delicious, and we left the restaurant feeling plump. For my parents' wedding anniversary, they even gave us two free Uso, which we thought was great. It's clean and tidy. I would recommend this place to anyone. The three of us were there for the second time. The first time was on Christmas Day 2024. We were alone in the restaurant. The entire time we were there, someone—presumably the manager—was on the phone in Greek in the dining room. His cell phone was on loud volume. On our second visit, this man again subjected us to the same noise. This time, he didn't sit in the dining room but sat among the guests on the terrace. He was talking loudly on the phone the entire time we were eating. This is so disrespectful to the guests that we will not be visiting this restaurant again.

Our table was booked shortly before our visit; we received a friendly welcome, were prompt and friendly service, and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced.

We went to this restaurant today. It was very disappointing. I had bifteki, which was rubbery, and the service was very unfriendly. I know that in Greek restaurants, you're greeted with ouzo. It's not a requirement, but there, only every fifth table got a drink, probably the regulars. I understand that you're under a lot of stress, but I don't think a smile or a question about whether everything is okay is too much to ask.

We really don't understand the negative reviews. They almost put us off visiting, but thank God we didn't :) the food was amazing, it brought us back to Greece. The service was very nice, they willingly prepared a takeaway for us, which was ready in 20 minutes. The price was adequate, the portions were huge. We are very sorry that we couldn't leave a tip. Unfortunately, they didn't take cards and we didn't take cash :( We will definitely be back! Btw. whoever wrote that you can't park here probably didn't notice that there is a large parking lot ten steps from the restaurant..maybe they just didn't want to pay a euro per hour :))

We were there on July 21st. The food was good, but the service was terrible. The second round of drinks only arrived after repeated requests. The plates sat on the table for 45 minutes without anyone clearing them. The same thing happened with the bill, which also only arrived after repeated requests. The manager finally came with the bill and simply said he didn't have much time. One more small note: there wasn't even an ouzo with the bill.

The food was delicious, but the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. The tomato soup wasn't really tomato soup. A bottle of water cost €7.50. Halumni cheese (1 piece) cost €12.90, and baked feta cheese (2 small pieces) cost €10.90.

During our short vacation on Usedom, we visited the Athens restaurant in Heringsdorf – it was a real stroke of luck! We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered – almost as if we were coming home to a good friend. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm, authentic, and lovingly designed – traditional Greek, but with a modern, tasteful touch. The food was simply outstanding. We had various grilled dishes, all perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. You can immediately taste the passion and high-quality ingredients used here. The portions were more than generous, and the prices were absolutely fair. We were particularly impressed by the service: despite the tables being full, the team was attentive, friendly, and always smiling. The owner even personally asked if everything was to our satisfaction – a sign of true hospitality that you don't find everywhere. If you want to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere, Athens is the place for you. We'll definitely be back – and recommend it wholeheartedly!

Very good gyros and the bifteki were a dream

We arrived without a reservation, but it was still relatively early, around 4:30 p.m., so we were able to choose a table. The service was very friendly and courteous, and they brought us the menu quickly. The food was very good; we had two different pan dishes. We've been to this Greek restaurant three times already and always enjoy coming back for dinner during our vacation in Bansin.

Tasty food. The ouzo wasn't chilled, and we would have appreciated being asked if we'd like some. Otherwise, very pleasant.

We're always excited to try a new Greek restaurant when we're on vacation. Unfortunately, we discovered that this was the worst and most expensive restaurant we've been to so far. The appetizer platter for one person was quite expensive at €17.90, and apart from two vine leaf rolls, four slices of zucchini, one baked cheese, and beans, the rest was just decoration, which I found quite expensive. I have to say, though, that it tasted good. I'm used to the small farmer's salad being different. There was no lettuce. It was tomatoes and cucumbers, feta, pepperoni, and olives. And all pretty bland for €11.90. The 0.2l Coke costs €3.90. The waiter (maybe the manager) wasn't friendly, but he wasn't unfriendly either. And part of service is to smile now and then or ask if everything is OK and whether it tastes good. But unfortunately, nothing like that. The plates were placed carelessly on the table, and it felt more like a slap on the wrist. That's a real shame. I want to feel welcome in a restaurant, and that includes a kind word, a smile, and a friendly tone.

Ich kann die, zum Teil negativen Bewertungen, nicht teilen. Wir sind 7 Tage in Heringsdorf und werden dieses Lokal ein weiteres Mal nutzen.

Nice little local where you can have a warm dinner even after 9 p.m. The waiter gave us an ouzo to greet us 😂 we didn't know that - but it wasn't the last one we ordered either. My husband had classic gyros and I ordered the moussaka. Both meals arrived in record time and were very tasty. We were looking forward to a relaxing evening for two with delicious food. We received an extremely unfriendly waiter and food that led to gastrointestinal problems. Everything was processed like it was on an assembly line. This restaurant is definitely not worth visiting. Anyone who values ​​friendliness, nice service and a nice atmosphere should give this restaurant a wide berth.

We experienced exactly the opposite here of what we know from Greek restaurants. The reception was unfriendly and everything was "slammed" onto the table instead of being served. Ordered a small black beer and got a large draft beer instead, there was no ketchup with fries and schnitzel, which is a given especially with children, and at the end when you paid in cash you got less change than you should have and you took it for granted and you were then said goodbye after the meal without even getting an ouzo, which is actually part of a Greek restaurant. We are more than disappointed after our visit here and definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

The portions are rather moderate. Ketchup is only available on allocation. Rather untypical for a Greek restaurant. The service is abrupt and the receipt ends up flying across the table rather than finding a nice ending. Gyros are €19.90.

The two of us went there spontaneously for the evening. When we walked in we were offered a small table inside. However, it was very loud, which is why we went out. (The owner can't do anything about that) There is currently construction work on the facade outside, which is why it isn't that comfortable, but that also has to be done and didn't bother us. The service employee was friendly, but also very quick. You had the feeling that he was working there alone. Drinks and food came very quickly. Everything was very tasty and completely reasonable in terms of price-performance ratio. If we are here again, we would eat there again!

We wanted to eat here on Easter Sunday. Just when we entered the entrance area/winter garden we were overcome with cold horror: dirty everywhere we looked. Then we opened the door to the restaurant and were greeted by a completely overwhelmed waiter who couldn't even tell us whether there was still room. He referred us to another older colleague who was unrivaled in terms of unfriendliness. He wanted us to sit down to eat in the cold and dirty winter garden. We left again and will not make a second attempt. The one star was only given so that I could post this review.

Solid Greek. We were there on Good Friday, very full, always new guests hoping for a free table. The innkeeper still had everything under control. The food, taramas, haloumi and garlic bread as a starter, gyros as a main course was certainly not gourmet food, but good and plentiful. The landlord is rather taciturn but friendly, the young woman behind the counter and the young man in service are quick and very friendly. So overall, highly recommended, especially considering what other restaurants in Bansin (don't) offer.

We had reserved and informed in advance that 🐕 would be there. The table was right at the counter and it was crammed with tablets full of glasses. There was hardly any space for the four of us. The meal took less than 15 minutes and it quickly became clear that nothing was made fresh here. That's how it tasted too. SO IF YOU WANT TO EAT GOOD, YOU SHOULD AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

Food is super delicious. The waiter takes some getting used to. He doesn't have the time, maybe he doesn't feel like it either. The waiter may not know that the customers pay his salary.

The food was so well, the 32 had no less than 1 olive and a pepperoni on the plate. In the case of the 52, the rice was as if it had been mixed with ketchup and was completely cooked to death. But the price is rather high. 🤔

The restaurant is highly recommended. The food was extremely delicious and hot. The waitress was very friendly and made a lot of effort. The owner is a bit taciturn, but not unfriendly or dismissive. Everything tasted very good. The service was friendly, the boss was a bit peculiar but also a bit funny and still friendly. Food came quickly.

The ambience could also be any other restaurant, no Greek passion evident. The dishes are so uncreative, Greek is more than meat with fries, there is so much more. everything was done so carelessly. e.g. the salad was very roughly cut, a bit of tomato, cucumber, peppers, olives, shepherd's cheese (definitely not sheep's feta but the cheap one from the supermarket) that was it. I can do it more lovingly at home. Otherwise very oily and greasy food, nothing with Mediterranean lightness. everything floats in oil. And I don't want to assume anything, but as dirty as I felt after eating (I had vegetarian moussaka as the main course) I would even say that the food wasn't good and maybe I even caught food poisoning. At least I had spent a very intensive time going to the toilet immediately after eating that day and this lasted for over 48 hours until I was relatively well again

Clear 5 stars in all categories. We had gyros, souflaki and naussa. 11.2.25: now a normally good Greek. Still completely ok.

The 2nd star is only towards the understanding of New Year's Eve. There was a shortened menu, with food that was easy to prepare in the kitchen for the masses but was simply not well received by the guests. There were basically only main courses that were reasonably priced for the day, had no quality and were unloving was smashed down. The first and last! Drinks came with the food. Beforehand we were all given a salad and the request to serve us 4 ouzo before the meal was completely ignored. You were simply ignored and so were many of the tables next to us. We wanted to pay the bill separately but everything came together anyway, so we should split it ourselves xD it just left... all in one with far too few staff in the service. You shouldn't accept so many reservations if you don't have the staff capacity! Shortened menu ok but what is offered should be for the PRICE! above all, be good! We still saved money because it was hopeless to order more drinks. By the way, the beer was still warm and we're sure: we won't be coming back and we really can't recommend this restaurant!

Unfortunately there were no garlic potatoes here and the feta minced steak didn't suit our taste either.

First of all, our meal today on December 10th. was delicious, except for the salad. This was floating in a watery dressing. But unfortunately, as already described in many previous reviews, the boss was in service (apparently recognizable by the Porsche in front of the door, along with other luxury cars). The service was below average, I've never experienced anything like it before. We won't come back a second time and we can't and don't want to recommend this restaurant for a nice evening. It's a shame about the boys in the kitchen, 3 stars only because of them.

Such a careless preparation of saganaki (say and write in every corner of the plate an olive, a slice of cucumber, a quarter of a tomato and a piece???) - not to mention the preparation (two slices of breaded sheep's cheese), that's what we're up for 10.90 € and 0.25 l house wine for 8.90 € have not yet been experienced. In the end, the boss collects the tip for the waitress's honest effort. :-(

6 p.m., a waitress for a restaurant, the menu+ouzo arrived quickly. The restaurant filled up very quickly, now a man intervened, as it turned out to be the boss... the salad was carelessly slammed onto the table without a proper look, the salad was fresh, the dressing was watery and had no taste... the starter was just the same thrown away....the main course was very bland. I ate better Greek even in the provinces. We only got drinks once because they never checked whether the glasses were empty. The unfriendliness shows its face again when paying in cash... card machines are carelessly thrown away without a glance and without a goodbye from the boss...

Cold food. Very little for the price. Lackluster service. Cola for almost €6 non-carbonated with lots of ice cubes. This is how holidaymakers are ripped off here.

We were just at this “Greek’s”… very nice inside.. the reception… by the Romanian “boss” well… hands in the trouser pockets… that’s not possible…. The food we ordered came very quickly... The feta cheese I ordered for €11.90... just a joke... loveless... with 2 tomato quarters... a slice of cucumber... and some olive oil... the gyros for €19.90, a bit of meat with a few fries... hmmm... you know We (both restaurateurs ourselves) found it much better and cheaper... my fiancée spoke to him... and received the answer: we had chosen it... Hmm all in all…. It's unbelievable that a restaurant like this still exists... but gather your own experience (whoever reads this)...

Great Greek restaurant in the heart of Bansin. We ate deliciously and were thrilled with the service!

We were there last week as a family (2 children/2 adults) based on a recommendation from our accommodation that the owner was fond of children. Without a reservation we were quickly and carelessly assigned a table, we didn't think anything of it. The restaurant was relatively empty, the waitress was very friendly and quickly brought us ouzo and children's schnapps to the table. The owner took our drink order without any interest, and shortly afterwards 3 of the 4 drinks we ordered were brought to us incorrectly! When we explained that we had ordered something different, the waitress took it kindly and brought us the correct drinks. The owner didn't seem enthusiastic and asked. Then we were practically pressured to ask about the food; he didn't seem to care at all that we were still looking on the menu. The children decided on spaghetti with minced sauce, unfortunately not really tasty and completely over-seasoned with allspice. My husband had gyros which tasted good, unfortunately the tzaziki tasted like it came from a package, the fries tasted like old fat and the rice tasted like baby jars with tomato sauce. I had meat rolls in tomato sauce, but got a kind of boulette that was very dry, with a hint of tomato sauce. When serving, the owner slapped my husband's plate on the table and there was no sign of a good appetite... All in all, we were more than disappointed and we didn't really have an appetite anymore and we didn't feel welcome! At some point our drinks were empty and we were not asked if we would like anything else. We ordered the bill, paid (~100€), didn't get any ouzo or farewell, the children got a lollipop. This Greek is no longer an option for us, nor would we recommend him to others

All the dishes were simply great! We were thrilled and will definitely come back.

Don't forget to pay the parking ticket! Food and drinks excellent, experienced staff and good atmosphere. Unfortunately it is not open on Sundays, although it says on the internet that it is open from 12pm!

Very unfriendly!!!! We soon had to wait half an hour before we could even order anything. When ordering it was said that payment by card was not possible. The guest at the table next door was able to pay by card!!!! There was also no notice on the door or anywhere else that card payment was not possible. So we went without eating!

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't fit. Food was lukewarm, tasted ok.

We made a reservation for 5 p.m. We were the first in the restaurant and we sat in the porch. A single service employee was responsible for the entire restaurant and was completely overwhelmed. The restaurant then filled up very quickly and the boss drove up in his Porsche and then helped out in the restaurant. He was very rude and inattentive to the guests. We ordered two starters for €15 each and two main courses for €36.90 each. The menu included lamb baked with tomatoes, pepperoni and cheese. There was actually a whole pepperoni and a quarter of a tomato in the dish. We were shocked. The food was very oily and later gave both of us stomach pains. When we finished eating, our plates were cleared by the boss. He didn't even look at us. Afterwards we sat with empty glasses for 43 minutes and no one came to our table. My husband then went to the counter and paid. He paid €107. The service wasn't good and the food wasn't good either. But what should you expect when there are only two people in service. This was our second time there and this time surpassed the last time. We give every restaurant a second chance. We could have saved ourselves that. No recommendation for the Greek in Bansin.

We are currently here with 7 people and we already know that it will be the first and last time. We waited over 40 minutes for the drinks to be delivered. The starter was okay, but not a highlight. Then it took another 30-40 minutes until the main course was served. Surprise, this one was almost cold. The table next door was well served, but that was probably because they were business customers that he knew personally. But showing this difference like this is already questionable. Accordingly, I can only recommend perhaps visiting another Greek restaurant here and avoiding this one! As my friend just said: "If you don't have any demands, you've come to the right place!"

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very appealing. There is an ouzo to welcome you. The drinks we ordered (beer, wine €8.90) were too warm. The salad plate looked monotonous, cheap and bland. We had to season the main meal a lot and the prices were definitely too high (lamb fillet €36.90). I know Greek restaurants that offer better cuisine with more acceptable prices. I can only recommend this restaurant to a limited extent.

Very inflexible when it comes to side salad, you only get iceberg lettuce and no coleslaw like you would in a Greek restaurant, you have to order it separately as a salad. Meat dishes taste OK, but smaller portions and higher prices than in 2022 and 2023.
