We went out to eat today and it was delicious

Great typical Greek restaurant. Delicious food, great service and the toilets are what you want everywhere.

We were here today to enjoy Greek cuisine. As a starter we were given a coleslaw, which was inedible for us. It was grated so roughly that you thought it was the stalk. As a main course we ordered gyros and souvlaki. On both plates there was a tiny bowl of quark, it was supposed to be tzatziki. There was no trace of garlic and you could count the cucumber on your fingers. Instead we tasted sugar. The meat didn't taste like typical Greek spices (m.u.k. oregano), instead it had spring onions that don't belong there. When the waitress asked if we liked it and we didn't really answer, she didn't even ask what was wrong. We will never enter this restaurant again and cannot recommend it.

2. Criticism 1 year later (2024). We were in Hellas again. Again just fat chatter, with a bit of lean in between, that has absolutely nothing to do with lamb chops!! The "real" one has a so-called "stem", the other is cut differently and has 80% fat and sinew. Took a picture. See for yourself. The price per kilo between the two is €6 (plus for the landlord)!!! THE PICTURE “2023” is of course from 2022!!! Unfortunately labeled incorrectly.🙈 2023 was already the first disappointment!! The total disappointment (2023)!!!! We were there twice last year (2022) and were thrilled by the great lamb chops, they were simply delicious, fried or grilled to perfection, definitely a real treat!!! Today we are there with this positive anticipation. What we were served there was very disappointing!! We were actually served butterfly chops instead of the traditional lamb chops with a long bone and the most tender meat at the front. The same dish as a year ago, the same menu, the same description and totally fake!! The meat is of course not that tender and has a fatty edge with bits of fat in between. The price was increased from 21 to 27 euros. Guys, if I want to eat lamb chops, then I don't care about 27 or more euros, but official cheating under the motto "They're so stupid and don't notice" is an absolute no go!!! It doesn't work at all. Was probably our last visit if guests are labeled idiots. I'm happy to pay good money for good food, but THAT's not possible!!!!!

A very nice restaurant with friendly, nice service staff and the food was very tasty. Among other things, we had gyros which were crispy and juicy at the same time. All in all great!

The food was a disaster. We once had a gyro plate with calamari, both of which were completely dry. The meat tasted as if it had been hanging over the grill for a week. The second dish was gyros and bifteki gratinated, which was also totally dry and the sauce wasn't really good And then so much money for bad food Rip off and not recommended

Right on the main street - very loud - but inside it was very pleasant, nice atmosphere, we were an hour early without a reservation because the opening times were incorrect according to the website. We were still able to go in and choose a drink. Food was delicious 😋, recommended!

We had lunch here because the restaurant was recommended to us. The restaurant looks dark from the outside and at first we were unsure whether it was even open. Inside you are greeted by a typical Mediterranean atmosphere, it is clean and there are many tables with window seats available. We had bifteki once and gyros with mushrooms (baked). Next time I would choose the non-baked version because the cheese released a lot of oil/fat. But the food was absolutely delicious, the fries were crispy, the sauces were tasty. Only the salad had a little too much oil on it. The bifteki was sensationally delicious, the filling seemed fresh and homemade! The price was above average. Here you should calculate at least €20 per person per meal, and there was almost nothing below that. But we will definitely come back and try other dishes! Side notes: There is a small parking lot with three spaces right next to the restaurant and the sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained.

The atmosphere outside was a bit unkempt, there were a lot of weeds and leaves from last autumn still lying around. Inside it looked much better, was well maintained and beautiful. The toilets were also fine, but unfortunately the soap was empty. The service was nice but a little lackluster. Right at the beginning there was an ouzo on the house. The food was very tasty, the meat was juicy, the Metaxa sauce was spicy and the salad was delicious. I also liked that there wasn't as much coleslaw as in some other restaurants, but that it was manageable. The grilled peppers are also recommended. All in all, happy again

We had dinner here yesterday. Even though we were there 20 minutes before opening, we were allowed to sit at the table and were served very friendly and immediately. Our food was tasty and the portion was very large. Special requests were addressed without hesitation. We recommend the restaurant.

We found this beautiful restaurant and came several times during our stay in Usedom because we were so excited. The service is friendly and attentive. Special requests are taken into account and the food is very tasty and well prepared. All in all, highly recommended and worth a visit.

Contrary to other reviews, I can't complain, neither about the food nor about the friendliness of the service staff. Only the parking space isn't that plentiful. We h Too lucky we didn't get a ticket. But that's the smallest problem.

I had dinner there today with my family and were initially quite skeptical because of the low star rating, but the restaurant impressed us positively as soon as we walked in. Even though we came in an hour before closing time, the service was very polite and nice. We were served very quickly and the food came quickly too. The calamari was very tasty and the souvlaki was incredibly juicy. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit and if I wasn't from Bavaria, I would eat here more often.

Tzatziki was more of a cream quark. The price-performance ratio doesn't match. The menu said roasted onions, but they were just steamed. My wife had pork fillets and they were really dead.

We got a table without any problems without a reservation. The staff was nice but not really welcoming, it seemed rather quick and easy Food was ok, the prices here in Heringsdorf generally seem to be significantly more expensive, a shared starter, two main courses, 2 beers and 1 wine for €68 is already expensive given the quality of the food. Food was ok, the small coleslaw was very tasty, but just ok. Can you go there?

Were there in late summer. Gyros with a lot of shag and a long wait for the food even though the restaurant wasn't full. Not so well maintained outside area.

We were there today. There was an ouzo straight away but the friendliness wasn't great. My wife's meal was good. She had pork medallions with metaxa sauce. My food was hardly seasoned and the meat was very hard. I had gyros with metaxa sauce. When the waiter asked me if it was OK I told him so but no response.

At the beginning we asked whether card payment was possible. When we wanted to pay, the flippant comment was that no, debit is not possible here. Yes, it is already very common. Unfortunately we weren't impressed with the food either. Very tasteless. Service can be expanded

Unfortunately very disappointing, cocktails don't taste good at all because ingredients are simply missing and they aren't beautifully presented. The food is better prepared but doesn't taste great, you can save your money for this restaurant. The outside area looks run down.

Friendly staff with ouzo as a welcome. Unpleasant toilet smell throughout the restaurant ruined the ambience. Card payment would be appropriate.

I was eating there yesterday and it was very dark in the restaurant. I had to read the menu with my cell phone light. The gyro was very dry. The food, well, I had much better and more food at the Greek restaurant. Then I wanted to pay with a card and it didn't work? The waitress says a foreign card won't work for her. I'm from Belgium. Is that a foreign country?

Oh well!! The ouzo came immediately. But the food was less than average. Ordered beef liver: The salad was a joke, some coleslaw, that was it. The liver was grilled to death and the fries looked like they had been fried twice. When I think of a good Greek restaurant, I imagine something different. The external impression also leaves a lot to be desired. We were only in town for a short vacation, but we didn't choose the restaurant well. A pity!!

Without a reservation, we received a very friendly welcome on Women's Day (a Friday!) and felt like we hadn't sat down yet when the ouzo was already there. It was very busy, a table became available and within minutes it was occupied again. Nevertheless, the service was quick and friendly and the food was extremely tasty. We've had a lot of disappointments on Usedom, but this restaurant isn't one of them. We'll definitely come back.

Gyros was very dry, walnut-sized piece of mayo from the tube 0.70 cents I think is overpriced

We also ate here while passing through and I have to say once and therefore the last time. On the plate there were 3 types of meat, some tzatziki, rice and good fries. As you know, a small salad first. But we were missing this salad on our plate. No lettuce leaf, no cucumber, no tomato and unfortunately some sauce in vain. On the bifteki 2 small herb butter. Which makes collecting all the food very dry. The taste was good, but as I said, something moist was missing. Prices are around €20. Drinks I have to say compared to our regular Greeks I think Cola 0.4 at €5.50 is a lot, but what has become cheaper 😁

So I don't understand a single negative review. I was warmly welcomed and served. An ouzo on the house arrived almost before I was seated. There is nothing to complain about! Then the food came (Athens plate with potato slices), extremely tasty and I almost had to struggle with the quantity and that is very rare 😀 Anyone who determines the quality of a restaurant by the number of free drinks should just hold back. I can only recommend Hellas.

Good Greek in the tourist area. Food good average, nicely prepared and medium sized portions. Good value for money for the area. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The ambience was also very good. The tables were close together, but that's complaining at a high level... Clear recommendation

Sind ja doch einige negative Bewertungen hier zu lesen.War mit meiner Frau heute um 16 Uhr dort.Sehr freundlicher Empfang und gleich 2 Ouzo.Ich hatte Hellas Teller und meine Frau Gyros normal.Meine Frau musste nach der Hälfte passen.Ich habe tapfer gekämpft…und kann mich jetzt kaum noch bewegen.Also die Portionen sind wirklich groß.Geschmacklich auch sehr gut.Gyros nicht fettig,Fleisch sehr gut gebraten.Wir gehen sehr oft Essen und bisher waren das die besten Pommes die wir beim Griechen jemals bekommen haben

Habe mich nicht wie beim Griechen gefühlt. Ein Ouzo gab es. Mehr nicht. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Der Service war wirklich nicht gut. Fühlten uns nicht willkommen und mussten ständing nach den Kellnern suchen. Dabei war es nicht mal voll. Sehr schade. Wir werden da nicht noch einmal hingehen.

Na da hat mal Spaß gemacht, wir lieben die griechische Küche und waren auch schon ein paar mal in Griechenland. Hier, im Hellas bekommst du das was du dir vorstellst. Ein lautes, volles Restaurant(das ist zu 100prozent positiv gemeint)mit guter Stimmung und richtig richtig leckeren Essen auf einem super Niveau. Danke euch für den schönen und vorallem leckeren Abend.

Ich war heute mit meinem Freund dort essen und habe mich sehr geärgert. Das Essen war an und für dich lecker für das Geld dennoch viel zu kleine Portionen. Da kein zweier Tisch frei war (trotz Reservierung) wurden wir an einem Vierer Tisch gesetzt was erstmal sehr angenehm war, wir wurden freundlich bedient. Doch dann wurden mehrfach von dem Personal Teller auf unseren Tisch von dem Tisch vor uns wo circa 10 Personen saßen sortiert. Die Knorpel u. Essensreste anderer beim Essen sehen zu müssen (wie sie auf unserem Tisch sortiert wurden) sowie das dreckige Geschirr machte diesen Besuch für uns ungenießbar wir sind empört von dieser Unhöflichkeit. Einen Besuch kann ich nicht empfehlen

Wir haben uns für die warme Vorspeisenplatte entschieden, ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen im Hellas ist sehr lecker. Wir hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte und Gyros. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Das Einzige was störte waren die kleinen Tische die recht eng zusammen gestellt sind. Aber das Essen war wirklich gut👍. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Es scheint ein neuer Koch in der Küche zusein Wir waren sehr enttäuscht werden ich wieder kommen

Von außen sah es nicht sehr einladend aus... aber innen ganz neckisch. Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker schmecker. Personal ist auch nett.

Waren zu viert essen. Die Lokalität ist angenehm und die Bedienung freundlich. Es gab insgesamt nur 1x Ouzo, was für einen Griechen ein no go ist. Das Essen war okay, allerdings sind die Toiletten unter aller Sau.

Waren Gesten Abends zum Essen da. Die Speisen waren lecker nur der Salat vor den Essen war echt klein und die Preise waren für die Lage und das Ambiente leicht erhöht.

Das griechische Restaurant liegt außerhalb des Ballungsraumes der Seebrücke. Ca.15 Min. Fussweg von der Seebrücke zum Lokal. Nun zum Essen. Perfekt im Geschmack, Portion normal Groß. Vorweg gab es Standesgemäß ein Ouzo. Der Salat der vorweg serviert wurde, klein ohne Peperoni und Olive. Teurer als der Durchschnitt. Allerdings für eine einfache Portion Giros knapp 20€ finde ich schon Grenzwertig. Der Service fand ich etwas aufdringlich. Man hat noch nicht einmal richtig Platzgenommen, da hat schon einer von den Kellnern mit der Speisekarte gelauert. An anderen Tischen lauerte die Kellnerin schon mit dem Tablett in der Hand, auf dem der Ozuo stand. Barzahlung oder Girokarte

Super lecker. Gemütlich zum sitzen. Würde gern nochmal hin. Aber wir waren nur im Urlaub dort.

Am Essen fehlte der Geschmack , das Fleisch war trocken . Der Salat den man vor dem Essen bekommt war einfach nur ein Krautsalat mehr nicht . Preisleistung naja eher zu teuer .

Qualität und Leistung stimmen leider nicht überein. Wie überall auf Usedom bekommt man leider für mehr Geld weniger Qualität. Schade….

Personal war freundlich, Essen kam eigentlich recht schnell. Geschmacklich ist das Essen etwas verbesserungswürdig.

Unfreundliche männliche Bedienung , weibliche Bedienung roch stark nach Schweiß , das Essen irgendwie Geschmackslos und klein ,für 3 Mahlzeiten und den mickrigen Salat ( den man dazu bekommen hat) , mit Getränke 100€ ! Es geht preisgünstiger wenn man bedenkt wie klein die Portionen sind. Alles in einem absolut kein Hit .

Als der Vorspeisen übliche Krautsalat kam dachte ich die Portionen sind klein. Sind sie nicht gute leckere Portionen die nicht nur satt machen sondern auch gut schmecken.

das Essen war gut und anders als hier beschrieben, reichlich - uns hat es etwas an Würze gefehlt, was aber keinen Makel darstellt die Sitzplätze im Außenbereich liegen halt nun mal an einer Straße, dafür sind sie super überdacht und wir wurden auch bei Regen nicht nass wir geben eine klare Empfehlung!
