The service just worked its butt off. The ambiance could use a bit of cleaning. The food arrived before the salad was served. When I asked for it, it was slammed down on the table. They used a fork twice, and it was gone. The souvlaki was okay, but the gyro was greasy and not crispy at all. All in all, too expensive 😤

We were very satisfied. A warm welcome, and the service staff was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The food was delicious (gyros with liver and gyros with calamari). The price/performance ratio was absolutely perfect. We'd be happy to go back.

Usedom plate, well, the portion was okay, but the liver was cold. Garlic potatoes were ordered separately. We got fried potato slices without garlic. Yes, the chairs were showing their age. The service was nice, but when I wanted to pay with a card, it was only contactless. Inserting the card didn't work. Then they were annoyed and waited for cash. So, once and never again. Go anywhere else. They give you food for your money, which is what makes Usedom so nice. A clear no-no, that's okay.

Incredibly bad food! The service was absolutely terrible! The food was cold, the ouzo was warm, and the meat was half-raw, and the order was wrong. A complete rip-off for tourists.

We were there for dinner. We got a table right away. The decor is good. The staff seemed stressed and very unfriendly. The food came quickly, and the ouzo that came first was unfortunately very warm and diluted. The food was unfortunately not good. The gyro was so saturated with fat and gristle that it was barely edible, and the tomato rice had no taste at all; it was very dry and sometimes even very hard. We wouldn't eat there again; we're used to something different from Greek restaurants. The salad at the beginning is no longer a salad, but just a small plate of coleslaw. Tzatziki didn't taste of garlic, and the Metaxa sauce tasted more like a paprika and tomato sauce. €82 for two people (Coke, appetizer, and main course) is very overpriced. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this Greek restaurant. If we do, we'd rather go to the Greek restaurant in Bansin.

We often go to a Greek restaurant. The restaurant is cool and cozy. However, the prices are very high, and the food isn't that great. The gyro comes with a dollop of tzatziki (a tablespoon), and the larger portion, which we ordered, cost 12 euros. €130 for three people takes some getting used to.

Simply Disappointing! We decided to go out for dinner today and stumbled upon the Greek restaurant "HELLAS" because it's located right on the main road. What was striking was that, despite the crowds, both the parking lot and the outdoor area were completely empty – and this on a Sunday at lunchtime in beautiful summer weather. The service was prompt, and our order was taken quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. However, what we were served was unsatisfactory. The tzatziki we ordered, like the salad, was quite bland. The main courses were completely oversalted and inedible. When we pointed this out to the wait staff, they simply said, "The guests yesterday enjoyed the liver." Even though we returned most of the main courses, we were charged the full price. The food was covered in oil, the salad was oily, had no flavor, and was just white cabbage. Ouzo wasn't even offered, even though it's customary. The price for the food was overpriced.

It's located right on a main road, so it wasn't really possible to relax. In addition to the heartless service, we (and a wheelchair user) were seated on worn-out chairs on a knee-high lawn. The salad consisted of a simple, unseasoned coleslaw, and the spaghetti bolognese was served with a lot of cinnamon, but in a small amount. NO RECOMMENDATION!!!!!!!!!

We don't know what we did wrong. The first time, the service was minimally friendly, and we even got an ouzo with our order. The salad plate was purely a cost-cutting measure. No cucumbers, no tomatoes, just coleslaw from a bucket. We wanted to try it again a second time, but that backfired. This time there was no ouzo, very arrogant behavior towards the guests, unfriendly, the staff only cleared our plates after we had ordered another one, no ouzo, no friendly conversation, no smile. Really awful. They didn't get a tip from us either. The waiter was very arrogant and expected a tip... (didn't even ask how we wanted to pay)... no longer recommended. Since you're the only Greek restaurant in Heringsdorf, you can afford this kind of behavior. Truly sad. But we're done with this.

I can recommend it without hesitation. Only the beer garden and the seating on the main street might be a bit distracting. But that's not a problem for me.

From the outside, it looks very unkempt. Some of the outdoor seating is in a grassy area, which I'd be worried would be ticks just waiting for someone to sit down. With the current crowd, the staff seem very stressed and unfriendly. I chose three starters for my main course, so I was the only one at the table who didn't get a salad. I found that very unfriendly. The Bolognese was burnt, which was noticeable, but they kindly didn't add it to the bill.

So we were there today, 3 adults and 1 child, the ambience is getting old, we had 3 main courses and 1 starter for the child because he didn't want anything else, we ordered 2 gyros with Metaxa sauce and found that it only tasted of fat and the sauce wasn't a real Metaxa sauce but some kind of broth, I know completely different from a Greek restaurant, so the food doesn't even deserve 1 star and the garlic bread isn't even garlic red but some other bread and then you just get it covered in oil and as a side dish you get something other than garlic, really sad 😢 for the restaurant and it is definitely not recommended under any circumstances, sad 😢, it is in a stronghold for holidaymakers

The gyro salad wasn't really my thing, and the meat tasted kind of burnt. The beer was very low in carbonation. The terrace was a reflection of 50 shades of gray; it could definitely use other colors besides gray.

My wife's apple spritzer was more watered down than anything else, and my meal wasn't exactly amazing. And it cost 65 euros. At other restaurants in the area, you can get an appetizer and an extra drink for 2 euros more. The staff was very friendly, though. That's why the service gets 5 stars, but that's it.

My husband and I were guests here. Since we prefer a quieter place, we chose a seat in the busy outdoor area on the main street. The nice weather offered a chance to breathe in the fresh exhaust fumes. There was also a hint of sewer smell. A very friendly waitress took our order and promptly brought us drinks and appetizers. Then, she bustled off, and her charming colleague brought our food to our table. The appetizer – tzatziki with fresh bread: the tzatziki was fresh from the package, mixed with a clove of garlic, and served nicely on a plate. The white bread, which you'd expect from the self-service counter, was served sliced ​​on the side. The main course included a tasteless coleslaw. My husband then received his ordered gyro bifteki plate with fries and a pile of "Rizi me Domata." I asked for a small portion of stuffed bifteki with the same side dish. The meat was drenched in a ready-made Tetra Pak of tomato cream sauce, to which strips of bell pepper and a splash of Metaxa were added. After we finished our meal, the waiter gave us a personal gift as a token of hospitality. With impressive aim, we were treated to a brief demonstration of the Greek "ground spitting" with a precise landing. A master of his craft! The overall lack of love touched us so emotionally that we decided we definitely wouldn't pay this place a second visit. Thank you very much!

Mixed... The food wasn't bad and it was nicely served. But first the service lady's cell phone privately rings for a long time over the loudspeakers in the restaurant and then the "boss" comes and makes loud calls in the restaurant. And that wasn't a table reservation. I don't think the prices are that good. A short vodka 2 cl 4.80 euros. I didn't find Ouzo on the menu. The salad had nothing of its own except some parsley. Otherwise, no dressing, nothing. Tasted like it was fresh out of the bucket. Overall the main course tasted good but everything around it could be improved.

The visit to this restaurant was not satisfactory. When I entered the restaurant it made a pretty good impression, but it was over very quickly. The furnishings, especially the chairs, were very uncomfortable, which became torture despite the nice look. A longer stay--->well everyone has to find out for themselves. The waitress came quite quickly and took the order. The salad plate that was served was not at all what we expected. Simple white cabbage salad with "0" pep. The main course wasn't really convincing either. For 23.90 we had gyros with bifteki with fries and rice. The gyros were quite dry and had a neutral taste. For this price you would expect something different. NOT recommended!

We have been coming here every time we visit Usedom for a few years now. The service is consistently very friendly, dogs are welcome and immediately receive a bowl of water. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat dishes has deteriorated a little, personally I would prefer not to have such a large portion but better quality.

Never again, we have never had such a bad meal as in this restaurant. Reservation was no problem (no wonder) Drinks order: 2 Alsterwasser. Without asking, 2 large, 0.5 liters were served. Well 11 euros is borderline. Food Order: Giros in Metaxa Sauce. (The Metaxa was probably all there) The meat was very firm and baked way too thick with cheese. Plus fries, lukewarm and stuck together. The rice almost cold. 2. Food: Athens Platter. Pork meat is hard, liver is stringy, mince is hardly seasoned, Giros is of poor quality. Before the main course there was a tiny coleslaw and unfortunately not even bread. They didn't ask in between whether everything was okay. Only when clearing away. I then said some of the complaints...but no one there seems to be interested in that.

Unfortunately there are no vegetarian main dishes on the menu. So only ordered appetizers. These came noticeably quickly and didn't taste like much. The waitress was so semi-friendly and the furnishings are supposed to be historical, but they look more like leftovers and things that you wouldn't want to have at home anymore. Finding something better shouldn't be particularly difficult P.S. Stop putting alcohol on people's tables without asking.

Now our favorite Greek. The ambience is lovingly furnished down to the last detail and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. No matter what we have eaten here in the last 4 years, it has always been perfect (we try to stop by here 3 times a month) Our New Year's Eve has already become a ritual here and our friends, acquaintances and business partners are also regularly enthusiastic. A not particularly clean place, quite old and showing its age. But we were hungry, so we ordered food. Opinions are divided about the prices, which are quite ambitious for a Greek restaurant of this standard. We thought we'd have a glass of wine... but 8.50 for a glass of wine??? Which must have come from a large bottle in a restaurant???? We then ordered a bottle of water. The food arrived after about 10 minutes... braised leg... and metaxa pan.... Neither was particularly tasty... and it was definitely not fresh... I didn't have a pleasant evening after that... but that was my experience in this case too. Everyone should form their own opinion.

When the main course came, it was brought to the wrong table, there were only a maximum of 5 people, and since no one ordered it, it came to us. At least one dish was the right one, but unfortunately very little for the price, the second dish was the wrong one, gyros with mushrooms and onions were ordered and gyros with mushrooms and onions came gratinated. In terms of taste, I have rarely eaten something so bad, it was bland and not at all fresh, the gyros were in some places more like a slice of meat the size of gyros, and in some places it was very hard that you thought your tooth was about to break. When I tried to pay, my debit card wasn't accepted on the first attempt, so I heard that it wasn't, but a combination card. Well, I knew better, and it worked on the second try.

Last time the garlic was forgotten and I didn't get a replacement. It's a shame... what was even worse was that none of the employees had an eye for empty drinks. That was the case last time too. We sit there for an hour and a half and about an hour of that with empty glasses. Every restaurateur knows that you make most of your money with drinks, but not here. And honestly... in a Greek restaurant you look forward to an ouzo. Here you get ONE to start with. That was it... Well... food ok but service...

The food was totally over salted, the salad was swimming in oil and the garlic bread and bruscetta were rock hard. The wrong food was brought. In the end a very unfriendly service.

Since we had performed "Greek Wine" by Udo Jürgens at our wedding, I felt like going out for Greek food. The relatively low rating on Maps made me hesitate, but we gave the restaurant Hellas a chance. We waited at the entrance at first because there was no one to show us a table. That wasn't really necessary anyway, though, as there were only a few guests dining there, a bit unusual at 7:30. But we didn't regret it: The food was solid, and the portions were very generous. The Greek coffee afterwards was also very good. As a teetotaler, it always bothers me that in Greek restaurants, you're offered ouzo without asking, which you then have to refuse, but that's probably what most guests like. Overall: An average Greek restaurant that's recommended with reservations, albeit with above-average prices.

Found this restaurant by chance on our vacation. Since it is still low season, we expected that the full service program would not be offered. But unfortunately that was the least of its problems, the tables were sticky and carelessly prepared. Service was lackluster and not really motivated. Food was bland and unseasoned, absolutely not what you would expect from a Greek restaurant. The cocktails were ready-made mixes and tasted accordingly. The prices are quite impressive, but for us it's just an absolute tourist trap. The crowning achievement, however, was a hair in the food, we left it unclear whether it was human or from a kitchen brush, but we were full afterwards. There is much better and more open-minded gastronomy on Usedom.

The blonde waitress didn't work at all, the lady ran around the restaurant all evening, complaining about the guests. When we told her while paying that she was in a very bad mood...she went to her Greek colleagues and complained loudly that we complained about her behavior. With the words “I don’t know what the old woman wants”. There is absolutely no sign of Greek hospitality. All we can say about the food is that the portions don't justify the high price. Oh, and we didn't receive the welcome ouzo either. Once and never again.

Ordered gyros and garlic potatoes and just got fried potato slices. (It could happen if the hut was on fire. But there was nothing going on. Following our advice, they simply gave us garlic oil. Nothing with sauce. This meant that the potatoes got sticky relatively quickly. My food tasted extremely of rosemary (533). Only an ouzo at the beginning. We didn't ask if we would like to drink again. Despite a €5 tip, no ouzo at the end. I don't think I'll go there again.

The reception was friendly, but then unfortunately things went downhill. You weren't really paid attention to and had to ask for your order. Walk-in customers are apparently not very welcome, as this was evident from the fact that there was no ouzo in advance and payment by card was not immediately possible at the end. The waiter came with the device and, as with the guests before, it didn't work, the waiter disappeared with the device and the EC card, that's not possible!!!!! Then the boss came and tried it and finally explained that it had to do with the WiFi, but since I inserted the card and the device didn't respond, that was misinformation. The previous guests were sent to the ATM with a notice....only cash is real....we were then very lucky that a second EC card suddenly worked. Otherwise, the souvlaki skewer was very dry, tzatziki tasted like mayonnaise and the seasoning was also missing. Price performance is not in line... far too expensive... not recommended.

Ohhhhhhhh. That's not Greek. Poor service, overly seasoned food, Sugar bowl dingy, espresso lukewarm.... Overpriced and no Greek hospitality.

The restaurant is located in close proximity to the train station. There are only 3 parking spaces available, but as mentioned the train station with additional parking spaces is right on site. The sanitary facilities are neat and clean. The restaurant is nicely designed and furnished, offers plenty of seating and has a cozy atmosphere. The service staff are very friendly and accommodating and are available immediately if you have any questions. The food was delicious and the price-performance ratio is pleasant.

We spontaneously ate in Hellas today, despite several reservations we got a table without much effort, the waiters and the ambience were great. Just eat 😋 delicious. Would come back at any time.

First of all there was a small typical Greek salad and an ouzo on the house. My partner had gyros with fries. The gyros were mostly nice and crispy, but there were a few fatty pieces in between. I had chicken breast with fries. This was very tasty and tender. For dessert we had halva and galactomboureko. Both desserts were solid and good but nothing outstanding. The service was very friendly and attentive. The decor is typical Greek and we liked it, but the chairs aren't the most comfortable. You can sit on them for a certain amount of time, but they are not very comfortable. Nevertheless, all in all we were very happy with our choice and left full and satisfied. Thank you very much!
