Food was good…but the prices are pretty high! Zazziki €7.50!!! Gyros with fries €19.59 well…island prices…

Yes, I was lucky, there were still two places so I went in and had a good meal without complaining. Thank you for that

The food (souvlaki) was hardly seasoned. The salad was sour because it was only prepared with vinegar. The female waiter was very unfriendly. We were in the restaurant 2 years ago and everything was great. How can you run down a restaurant like that? !

Best pastizio outside of Greece

You don't necessarily have to visit, it's an outdated restaurant with lackluster service and snack-quality food. But the price is in the top league.

Food is ok, very tasty. Large portions. Unfortunately, the billing wasn't correct if you paid individually with several people. We were later contacted by an acquaintance saying that we were cheating because we supposedly only paid for one beer and didn't pay for the cappuccino at all. It's a good thing we kept the bill. That's not possible .

No special food, the salad consisted of cucumber and cucumber and some tomato. Little frta and olive. Too big and too expensive. Bifteki with herb butter doesn't fit. I wouldn't visit the restaurant again.

Total disaster... we have never been treated so unfriendly by a Greek. The restaurant was half empty. We were offered a "cat table in the passageway" at the exit door to the outdoor area. We politely declined and looked for an unreserved table right next to it. The announcement from the snippy and already arrogant waitress was... We would only be served at the cat table. Our answer... we don't want to sit there, we want to sit wherever we like... It would be half empty. ... She then left with the menus. incredible !!! Arrogant because of wealth. There is no other way to interpret it. Getting to the boss became impossible because he quickly left the dining room...certainly so as not to have to talk to us. We then left the “unfriendly Greek in Germany” and ended up in a nice restaurant with super friendly service.

Clean, nice. Food tasted very good. Highly recommended. Nice ambience. Again and again. 2024 Unfortunately, it has decreased significantly. Salad poured with vinegar. Prices too high for the gyro plate €20. everything is so oh-so.

No air conditioning in the restaurant. The waiter was in a bad mood and let the guests know. The gratinated sheep's cheese was a breaded finished product. Since when do Greeks eat a salad like this before a meal? And anyone can grill souflaki in their sleep. My father would have been ashamed to offer such a meal in his tavern.

The food was very tasty, but the portions were a bit smaller compared to other Greek restaurants. I can't say anything about the ambience in the restaurant as we sat outside. Unfortunately the outside area is right on the main street.

We spontaneously stayed here with 8 people as guests and our expectations and wishes were met with complete satisfaction. The drinks came quickly, as did the food and was delicious. Small supplement requests were also responded to in a friendly manner; and the children also enjoyed it very much. Thank you very much for the two lovely evenings on our holiday, we would love to come back 👍

Excellent gastronomy. There are dishes here that I have never had at any other Greek restaurant. The dishes are delicious and very lovingly prepared. The service is friendly and attentive. Even when the restaurant is full, the service staff try to do justice to their guests. They are not annoyed, which has already been expressed many times. We like to eat there when we are on holiday in Ahlbeck. The ambience is appealing. We like it. Keep it up.

Food okay. Unfortunately I have to wear something for the service, the young lady came to meet me with a mood when we entered the restaurant, unbelievable. Just because we didn't make a reservation. Is it unusual for people to come spontaneously to a holiday destination? The male colleague, on the other hand, was also kind and courteous to the kids.

The first time that everything that was on the gyro plate didn't taste good. Gyros too soft and flabby, fries were gold/yellow but tasted too strong of frying oil. School grades 6. It was nice that the boss himself came to us, but his volume wasn't good. As a customer, I felt oppressed by him. Never again Zeus Ahlbeck.

Unfortunately completely disappointing. I don't even know where to start. Ok, I'll start with the good stuff. The food came really quickly and the draft beer was tasty too. The service was also quite ok. Now, unfortunately, I come to the unpleasant things. The salad was a ready-made mix without dressing or oil. In terms of taste, I would give it a 4 out of 10. The food arrived super quickly and looked good too. My daughter ordered "Mousaka" and it was a ready meal that was frozen and heated in the microwave. Very watery inside. In terms of taste, I would give it a 2 out of 10. I had Biftiki, which was also a ready meal. The mince was warm on the outside and lukewarm and watery on the inside and of course completely tasteless. I give it a 2 out of 10. The 2 points only because the tomato rice was ok. My wife was the only one who had a somewhat edible meal (gyros). Because we complained, we gave away a 10% discount. For us this was the worst Greek restaurant we had ever visited. As usual, the prices were around €20 per dish. Sorry... very bad.

We were there for the first time today. Service was really friendly, the food was quick but also very tasty and good 👍👍👍. The ambience was nice and clean. If we come to Ahlbeck again, we will go there again. 👍👍👍

Food was okay so far, salad was a bit too vinegary for me personally, main course was delicious. The young man who served us was very nice... However, we wanted to change tables every now and then, as we were sitting outside and it was changeable with sun and rain. When a table under the awning became available, we asked the young waitress whether we can switch there. As usual, the table is actually wiped beforehand, I asked her politely if she would like to do this beforehand, and she just rolled her eyes... And an annoyed look on her face... Thanks for that... I'm working even with customers and that is an absolute no go

Not to be missed in terms of taste. Every Greek I've tried before has been better. Cold rice, unsalted fries, etc. The beer was the only thing that didn't disappoint.

We are happy to recommend the Zeus. We enjoyed it very much, the staff is friendly and the rooms are attractive and very clean. We will be happy to come back on our next trips to Ahlbeck. My husband particularly liked the Suzuki covered in tomato sauce, I love the feta founu (baked sheep's cheese with tomatoes, peppers and olives), the bifteki was also very good.. Thank you for the nice evenings, the delicious food and your hospitality.

We all love Greek food and we tried it out a few days ago. The food was delicious and the service was nice. But the price was too high. What I didn't like at all was that we had a seat inside by the window to the outside terrace and I had to look at the small cleaning bucket with cleaning rags. Something like this shouldn't be displayed for customers to see.

We were very disappointed this time. The food went down quite a bit. We really wanted to have a Greek meal here as it was very tasty last time. We drove extra, even though there was a Greek guy not far from our holiday apartment. The food for our son came with our salad, so he ate before us. We didn't like it because he became restless when we got our food. He couldn't play either because it would have stopped his little brother from eating. A pity

The service is very fast, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent: the dishes were attractively presented and simply delicious. In the outdoor area, the tables are sufficiently spaced apart.

Food was ok. But it was more mass processing instead of enjoying a meal in peace. Starter came after 5 minutes. The main course arrived, not even ready, and 30 minutes later they were dancing around us the whole time so that we could pay and leave. So just clearance.

Food fantastic. We had 5 dishes on the table super quickly. Absolutely fresh and truly one of the best Greek restaurants I have ever eaten at. And there were a lot of them. The staff was very quiet but friendly. The restaurant is very small but designed with a lot of love.

Good Greek with very good food. The service was friendly and quick. Basically a bit expensive. Some dishes, such as our favorite starter, grilled pepperoni with fresh garlic, are out of the ordinary. We have never paid more than 7.5 euros for this. A whopping 12 euros are charged here. The panels are in the frame and, as already described, very good? Basically recommended.

The ambience was very nice, the inside was really great, the toilets were also very tidy and clean. The outdoor area is also great for sitting, although the view of the main road isn't particularly great. We were served quickly and friendly. The dishes also came in a reasonable time. Appetizers were considered and brought first. The portions were decent and we were all full. The prices for food and drinks are adapted to today's times but are not excessively overpriced. Unfortunately, a point was deducted because there were no vegetarian dishes on the menu and nothing for the children to paint or play with.

Staff and food are top. The terrace is not recommended due to the location (main street and construction site traffic light). The online menu is not up to date, the menu in the restaurant differs from the prices. This is due to the increases.

Went there on a Sunday around 4.30pm in May and there wasn't much going on (which is a real shame). But the food was great... large portions, quick service and not as over-spiced as some other Greeks! The drinks and food came quickly and, as already mentioned, we liked it very much. We are in Heringsdorf at least 2 times a year and neither come back. Thank you very much... we really enjoyed our stay with you.

Waiter inattentive, busy with his cell phone! No flexibility with birthday guests. You felt uncomfortable as a guest, more like a burden.

Unfortunately, an (offered) reservation via the website was not answered, but it still worked by phone. The welcome was nice and very targeted, the cards arrived quickly, as did the drinks and the food. What was surprising was that there was no peppermint tea or chamomile tea... oh well. Overall, the menu is clear (no vegetarian warm main dishes) and largely adapted to the prevailing German audience. The food was ok, reasonably priced for the region, but it wasn't the best we were able to enjoy. The ambience is a bit cold, trying to pick up on the typical country stereotypes (statues, amphoras, Greek patterns), but it wasn't really comfortable. We were there, but wouldn't necessarily go there again.

We wanted to reserve a table by phone for 7 p.m., but we were told that everything was full and that we could still come by in the next 15 minutes. When we were there there were 6 tables available. We ordered our food, which arrived very quickly (it was a rump steak) but the quality was very poor and too thin for a rump steak. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, but it was rare. I complained about it and got a new one very quickly, which was medium but still not edible. The waiter asked if everything was okay and was very annoyed at my opinion by rolling his eyes. The waitress, on the other hand, tried to salvage something from the failed situation and waived the price for my meal, which I found to be very accommodating. Conclusion: The chef doesn't know what a rump steak should look like and unfortunately I can't recommend the restaurant in terms of price-performance ratio recommend. A pity !!!

On our Baltic Sea short vacation it is a must to go to a Greek restaurant. We were at the restaurant shortly after 5:00 p.m. There was still enough space and we were served friendly. The food was, as always, very tasty. The portions are large and worth the money. The meat is tender and not overly seasoned. €10.90 for the grilled pepperoni is a steep price, but the portion was enough for two. I can't understand the negative reviews. We have been coming here for many years, whether in winter or summer. We can 100% recommend the restaurant.

Great, attentive service, nice atmosphere. We felt very comfortable and the food was very good. Even the salad was lovingly prepared. The meat was tender, the sides were tasty and the portions were just right. The three of us were completely satisfied.

We arrived there spontaneously at 6:00 p.m. and were greeted unfriendly by the female waiter/waiter. There was no welcome Uozo and when there was a misunderstanding when ordering and the wrong food was brought, the correct food was slammed onto the table in a very unfriendly manner. Our waiter was friendly, but he spoke so quietly that it was difficult to understand him. For the feta starter, the feta was halved. Overall, the food tasted good and the portions were quite large. But we won't come back here. If you haven't encountered such unfriendly staff in a long time, you shouldn't be here.

Worst Greek place we have ever visited. Ambience well-intentioned, but unfortunately not well implemented. Far too bright and the volume of a train station hall. The waiter was annoyed and was tempted to ask if we shouldn't go back. Drinks were ok, starters partly convenience - grape leaves and coleslaw from a tin/tin) at first wrong (waiter rolling his eyes), main course ok. Bill completely overpriced: 2 adults and 1 small child almost 100 €!! A lot of money for very little service and performance

A typical Greek. The food was good and typically Greek. The card as expected and balanced. What I didn't like was the service. The service was a bit unfriendly. The drinks were requested with the food order and took quite a long time. The restaurant was hardly attended. When asked if the candle could be lit at the table, the answer was that there was no lighter. The others don't have a candle on either. Only the boss brought a light and was very friendly. Lots of room for improvement.

A waiter who constantly walks past our table like a tiger in a cage. There just wasn't much going on. We had to pay for the second Ouso ourselves, despite a bill of almost €100 for the two of us. I missed the usual Greek friendliness here. Food was okay. Don't force it again!

We enjoyed hospitality here during our holiday in Ahlbeck. For us, the quality of the food was just as good as the ambience and the service. The price/performance ratio also deserves a positive mention in our opinion.

Schade war das wir kein Uzo vorher bekamen erst nach Aufforderung.Die Fleischspieße waren etwas trocken.Dennoch sehr zu empfehlen.Das Tzaziki war sehr gut👍

Qualität von Essen sehr gut ich war sehr positiv von meinem überbackenen Gyros mit Spinat überrascht. Was ich allerdings feststellen musste, sind die Preise vom letzten zu diesem Jahr um ca.20 Prozent gestiegen. Gyros mit Pommes 17,90 €, Tzatziki Vorspeise 6,90 € wofür man sonst zwischen 4,50€ bis 5,50€ bezahlt und Gyros 13,80€ bis 14,90€. Aber gut man muss wohl einen Touristen Aufschlag mit einrechnen.

War jetzt nichts besonderes . Portionen sind gut. Essen war normal.

Wir lieben griechisches Essen und griechische Kultur. Deshalb nun das Zeus in Ahlbeck. Das Lokal zweckmäßig, griechisch dekoriert und sauber aber ohne Ambiente. Das absolute Highlight vorweg war der Service. Ein junger Mann und eine junge Frau managten alleine ein vollbesetztes Lokal ohne Hektik mit viel Freundlichkeit und Professionalität. Ein Service, den sich viele Lokale nur wünschen können. Chapeau! Die Speisekarte war sehr eingedeutscht. Auch ich mag das manchmal gerne. Vieles mit Metaxa Soße, vieles überbacken. Der Salat vorweg war sehr gut. Das Essen im Anschluss auch gut. Aber der Fairness anderen griechischen Lokalen gegenüber nur 4 Sterne. Würde ich es weiterempfehlen, definitiv ja.

Wir waren trotz nicht so guter Bewertungen heute bei Zeus. Aber wir wurden positiv überrascht. Essen sehr gut und die Bedienung auch sehr nett und höflich. Wenn hier jemand über die angeblich nicht freundliche Kellnerin schreibt, dann sage ich nur, man muss nicht nur lächelnd rumlaufen. Vielleicht liegt es auch nur an jedem selber… 5 Sterne für Alles .

Nach den gelesenen Rezensionen sind wir mit Skepsis in das Restaurant gegangen. Aber wir waren positiv überrascht, das Essen war sehr lecker und auch die Bedienung war freundlich. Selbst die weibliche Bedienung brachte immer mal ein Lächeln zu Stande. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war lecker aber wir hatten einen Tisch zum Geburtstag bestellt. Uns wurde vorher versprochen das es eine Torte gibt und der Tisch zum Geburtstag hergerichtet wird. Leider waren das nur leere Worte.9.20€ für einen kleinen Kinderteller Spaghetti ist auch ganz schön fett.

Etwas kühles Ambiente, aber Essen war gut und vor allem eine etwas andere Zubereitung und hat uns geschmeckt. Eine sehr leckere Metaxasauce 😋

Wir waren diese Woche 2 Mal im Restaurant. Eleni, die Kellnerin, ist sehr freundlich zu ihren Kunden. Ich verstehe nicht, warum die Kreter, die sie googeln, so negativ und falsch sind. Sie lächelt sehr und ist sehr nett. Besonders mit den Kindern, unsere beiden Kinder, besonders unser kleines Mädchen, liebten sie und fragten uns immer wieder, wann wir sie wiedersehen werden. Ich arbeite auch in der Gastronomie und wenn jemand ohne einen guten Abend ins Restaurant käme und nur nach einem Platz zum Sitzen suchte, wäre ich auch nicht mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht da, deshalb ist der Kellner oder die Kellnerin in einem Restaurant getrennt von uns zu dienen. Ansonsten sind viele Restaurants mit Selbstbedienung eher der ideale Ort dafür. Das Essen war sehr lecker und es gab sehr große Portionen und wir fanden die Preise für das Angebot sehr gut. Der Kellner war auch sehr nett. Abschließend möchte ich noch sagen, dass an den Tagen, an denen wir dort waren, der Laden voll war, Sie meinen, es wird Druck geben und einige Dinge werden die Kellner nicht nachholen, Sie brauchen Geduld, Sie sind im Urlaub, Sie haben viel Zeit, Noch fünf Minuten warten, nichts passierte. Unsere geliebte Eleni, mach weiter so und du bist von negativen Kommentaren betroffen. Alle netten Leute und die Kunden des Ladens wissen, was für ein guter Mensch du bist. Es war alles perfekt und wir waren mega satt. Super deftige Portionen und für diesen Preis wirklich super.

Wir waren schon in sehr vielen griechischen Restaurants, das "Zeus" in Ahlbeck gehört eindeutig zu den besten Gaststätten davon. Vor zwei Jahren waren wir schon mal dort, jetzt wieder am Wochenende. Alles wirkt sehr sauber und ordentlich, hell und freundlich, kein Vergleich mit dem ehemaligen Lokal "Rhodos" das vor Jahren an gleicher Stelle war, da hatte ich mir tatsächlich mal den Magen verdorben. Doch wie gesagt, das war einmal, heute ist alles anders und es sind vermutlich auch neue Wirtsleute, die sehr viel Wert auf Gastlichkeit, freundlichen Service und wohlschmeckende Speisen legen. Sehr gutes Essen, flinke Bedienung und die Preise sind für die heutige Zeit normal, auch die Portionen. Wir waren fünf Gäste mit verschiedenen Gerichten, allen hat es prima geschmeckt und satt wurden wir auch. Gerne mal wieder im Urlaub und vielen Dank...

Wir persönlich gehen total gerne zu diesem Griechen in Ahlbeck. Seit 3 Jahren ist es für meinen Partner und mich zur Tradition geworden, dass wir dort einmal in unserem Sommerurlaub essen gehen. Dafür fahren wir auch gerne 96 Kilometer. Die Ostsee ist ja auch gleich direkt anbei. Bisher wurden wir nie vom Restaurant enttäuscht. Die Gerichte schmecken alle super und sind toll angerichtet. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind lieb und aufmerksam. Die einzigen Kritikpunkte sind, die etwas laute Straße am Restaurant, ein bisschen zu wenig Würze beim Fleisch und den Pommes und dass es bisher keine vegetarischen Gerichte auf der Karte gibt. Ich glaube, dass der Koch dazu super Ideen entwickeln könnte und das auch ankommt. Vom Geschmack her würdet ihr jetzt schon 5 Sterne bekommen, also seid ruhig mutig und traut euch was neues zu. Könnte ja z.B. auch unter den Empfehlungen des Tages landen, damit man mal ein Gefühl der Nachfrage bekommt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns auf's nächste Jahr!

Das Essen und der Service waren wie immer hervorragend, wir können die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wenn wir im Urlaub sind ist Zeus immer einer unserer Stammlokale und wird es auch weiter bleiben .

Leider nicht empfehlenswert. Essen war kalt und man hat geschmeckt das der servierte Reis und auch die Weinblätter nicht frisch waren. Hat sehr nach fertig Essen geschmeckt und dementsprechend stimmt auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Service war ansonsten gut und das Personal sehr freundlich.
