At the kitchen party we were able to try a variety of great dishes at the highest level! We found the concept of only offering 4 wines from a single winemaker (Schloss Schönberg) for an entire evening with 12-15 different dishes to be really bad, including only 1 Pinot Noir red wine. I really couldn't believe that when I asked what kind of wine I could buy if I wasn't impressed with the Pinot Noir offered, the waitress initially replied: "Well, then you won't get any red wine." They then deigned (perhaps grumpily) to pour me another red wine, but I was negatively surprised at how unconfident and tight-lipped they were. We won't be going to kitchen parties here anymore if the wine concept is "1 winemaker - 4 wines - nothing else!" is.

We had a very good dinner at this restaurant. All the staff are very helpful, the food is excellent. The prices are quite high though. The atmosphere is calm and refined.

A fantastic evening in this very cozy, culinary highly competent restaurant. The food was fabulous, as was the service and atmosphere. But the great sommelier Melanie Wagner deserves special mention. She not only commands highly competently over a still outstanding and very friendly calculated wine cellar. In addition to her outstanding wine expertise, she also has a skill that only the very best in her field have mastered: an outstanding knowledge of people; she can "read" guests and knows what they want before they even realize it. She acts discreetly, reservedly, but also clearly and decisively and brings the wines to the table in perfect condition. What bliss!

Overall, it was a thoroughly successful evening characterized by excellent food, excellent service, great wines, flexibility and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back!

Valuable experience 4 hours. Delicious food/enjoyment at a very high level/taste explosion enchanted me. THE dessert was particularly...price matches the performance. Atmospheric restaurant with very tasty dishes

The starters were outstanding, highly recommended. In my opinion, the Wagyu burger isn't worth its hefty €35 price tag, but it definitely tasted very good. Service was friendly and. the atmosphere is very pleasant.

An excellent restaurant in the heart of Freiburg in the well-known 5* Haus Colombi. The menu presented was great with beef, fish and duck and a fantastic dessert. The service was generally excellent, but you can feel which tables and guests are "more important" as well as a certain strictness in the management of the service team - possibly necessary at this level. We had a wonderful evening here and can only recommend it to gourmets.

Unser Besuch im Restaurant Hegel 1 war ein Erlebnis, das uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Gastgeber Jan und sein Team haben uns an diesem Abend mit einem hervorragend abgestimmten Sechs-Gang-Menü verwöhnt, das in jeder Hinsicht begeisterte. Die Menüfolge war perfekt getaktet – die Gerichte kamen weder zu schnell noch mit zu viel Abstand, sodass der Abend einen harmonischen Fluss hatte. Jeder Gang war für sich ein kleines Kunstwerk, sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die stimmige Weinbegleitung, die nicht nur die Speisen perfekt unterstrich, sondern auch von einem tiefen Verständnis für Aromen und Nuancen zeugte. Der Abend wurde durch die angenehme Atmosphäre abgerundet. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist elegant und einladend, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Gastgeber Jan hat mit seiner charmanten und professionellen Art einen wesentlichen Beitrag dazu geleistet, dass wir uns rundum gut betreut fühlten. Alles in allem war es ein stimmungsvoller und kulinarisch beeindruckender Abend, der keine Wünsche offenließ. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant Hegel wärmstens empfehlen.

The warm and quiet ambience, the courteous service and the great food gave us both a wonderful first evening at Markos. At the end of the evening we agreed that this would not be the last visit. Thank you very much for the wonderful evening.

Seit wir das erste Mal hier waren, gefällt uns fast nichts anderes mehr. Das wunderschöne Restaurant im Brenner‘s Parkhotel bietet perfekten Service mit einem geschmackvollen & exzellenten Menü. Hier gibt man gerne sein Geld aus, weil man viel dafür bekommt. Angefangen von einem top Aperitif im Bar Bereich wird man im Anschluss zu seinem Tisch geführt. Wir hatten bisher immer eine sehr geschulte, freundliche und persönliche Service-Begleitung sowie Sommelière, die uns durch den Abend führte. Das Menü enthielt zum Auftakt zwei Amuse Bouche, gefolgt von abgestimmten und kreativen Gängen, die wunderbar umgesetzt wurden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut gerechtfertigt, in einer traumhaften Kulisse. Ganz großes Lob.

Very very tasty. Simply an unforgettable taste experience with lots of umami and other culinary delights. The only thing that bothered us a little was the turnip compote in the desert, but that didn't put a damper on everything. We'll be back.
