An unforgettable menu and wonderful evening.

Super delicious, very upscale cuisine. You will be called the day before about any intolerances so that we can address them. At the reception you first chill downstairs for an aperitif. Then you are led upstairs to the square. And here it starts right away. Incredibly delicious. Everything. Even things that I don't normally like. The only deduction for 1 star was the ambience, as I didn't like the fact that plates were washed in the guest area (small sinks behind the counter). Do that in the kitchen in the future and it will be perfect. LG and keep it up.

A great restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. Our event here was especially unforgettable, thanks to the help of the owner and his wife. We were there again after the event and will definitely be back soon.

I think I'm done with the Michelin star restaurants. It's usually the same story, the service is amazing, but the food is somewhat lacking and not worth the price. Here it was the exact same story. From the moment you walk in the staff is incredibly professional and courteous. You can't ask for a better front of house staff than what is at this restaurant, but once again, for a 350 euro dinner (PER PERSON), the food and experience just isn't worth it. The beet salad, cod, and pork courses were excellent , really wonderful, good wine pairings too, but the other courses just didn't have the "wow" factor. The sweetbreads were fine, just a bit bland. The shrimp course was awful and incredibly fishy, definitely the worst course by far. The dessert was really bad too, strange texture and just not a traditional dessert. I'm sorry to say, I won't be back, because I can't justify paying these prices for food that is totally hit or miss. If the food could match the front of the house staff and their customer service, this would be one of the best restaurants in Germany.

A very chic designed restaurant, a delicious five menu. The wine accompaniment is delicious and surprising, the non-alcoholic version is a little weaker, but also very good. Definitely going to be resubmitted.

Unfortunately, service is far removed from upscale gastronomy. Although the food is really good, the poor service ruins everything. The food is fresh and really creatively prepared.

We had an amazing time celebrating my wife's 30th Birthday dinner at 5! The flavorful dishes and wine pairing were top-notch, making the evening truly special. The relaxed ambiance and attention to detail made the experience unforgettable. It was a perfect choice for such a special occasion.

If you are coming to Stuttgart, you MUST come to this restaurant!!! We had the best food and service! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and take very good care of you. The food is phenomenal and they do an excellent job with wine pairings. If you are lucky to get the risotto on the tasting menu, it will be the best risotto you will ever have! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant! We will definitely come back!

Drinks and food at the highest level, as is the service. Feeling good instead of stiffness. Look for taste instead of aromas. How can it be better? I don't know it. I was there twice for lunch. Positive: Every course is really excellent to sensational. I haven't eaten so well in a long time! Service perfect, friendly and accommodating, that's what you want. Negative: Warning about wine accompaniment: For the 2-course menu, this includes exactly 2 glasses of 0.1l of an excellent, suitable wine from the open bottle (roughly estimated this is 10-20 euros/0.75l bottle); one for dinner, the second for dessert. If you add 0.1l while eating, the wine accompaniment for the 3-course menu will be charged (+16 euros). I know very well that top gastronomy is not a gold mine, but such "small-mindedness" spoils the experience in the end. Therefore only 4 stars.

We went to 5 for the first time last night and were totally thrilled. The menu was a taste work of art that we have never experienced before. We've been to 1-star restaurants a few times, but the 5 puts a crown on all previous restaurants. Visual and tasteful works of art that were so good that we are already looking forward to the next time. :-) The team is young and super friendly. The sommelier made us a wine pairing that was fantastic. For me as a driver, there was also an alcohol-free accompaniment to go with the menu, which I have never experienced in the catering industry before. Incredibly great juices and, to quote the sommelier, not just “7x Geiger” :-). This great break yesterday almost felt like a short vacation in the middle of downtown Stuttgart. We can recommend the 5 without reservation.

We have been here again for a long time and had an excellent meal. Modern, relaxed and yet at the highest level. This is how modern cooking works. Keep it up!

I found the breakfast price excessively high and the treatment of customers unfriendly. Unfortunately we were disappointed. I just liked the ambience.

Great taste, but service with a lot of room for improvement: On the occasion of a milestone birthday, we reserved a table for two people at 5 on the day of the birthday because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed overall, as we know much better at this price level. From the Tuesday menu we chose 3 of 4 courses, 1x with wine accompaniment, 1x wine separately. All courses tasted very good, as did the presentation. But the portions were extremely small (not enough for a normal appetite, and the 4th course = dessert, which we partially saw on the neighboring tables) wouldn't have changed anything. What we also really noticed was that the wine accompaniment we ordered for the first course only came when there was a clear demand (when the warm course had already been 50% consumed). Despite stating my birthday when booking, the service (or boss?) was very surprised when my partner briefly mentioned his birthday again. We won't go to the 5 anymore.

Perfect evening with complete satisfaction! We spent a wonderful evening, I can't even describe how perfect everything was - that's rare (even at this level). The service was very professional, extremely attentive and courteous, friendly and at the same time not intrusive. The food was amazing, you can tell the star cuisine!! It's been a long time since I've had such a fabulous meal in such a cozy and beautiful atmosphere. We love eating in star restaurants and this was definitely one of the best so far! Yes, you have to say, it is expensive but it is also really an experience. A culinary dream where quality, service and ambience harmonize perfectly. The 5 is worth the money!

The three of us had dinner. We sat right next to the entrance to the kitchen, loud and restless. In the kitchen they said that they should hire 5 more people in order to be able to properly serve 35 guests. It's not possible that you have to listen to it. We know establishments where the chef comes to each table briefly in the evening and find this very pleasant. Unfortunately not a perfect evening. There are better star restaurants with a much quieter atmosphere and better service.

We started eating out in star restaurants quite some time ago...Our first "attempt" was in the 5th. So far no other restaurant has managed to surpass the quality and sophistication as well as the excellent service!!! Were here a second time and our expectations were exceeded. It won't be our last visit, even if the journey takes longer...

Had the 6 course meal and it was really very good. All the employees were extremely friendly.

I left my wallet in the 5th. When I came back the waitress told me that my colleague had found it. However, the 200 euros that were in the wallet were no longer there. The boss of 5 refused to ask his employees and follow up. Since then I have never been back to 5 and will not be there again!!!

Today we stood in the completely empty store for five minutes and waited for reception. After no one showed up, we left. I also found the clothes rails with the clothes in the corner strange. Once a cool place with fancy dishes and cocktails, it's just embarrassing now.

The Restaurant 5 “Businesslunch” from the star kitchen exceeded our culinary expectations and took us on a great taste journey. Modern, creative courses were served, which created an indescribable taste experience with a fascinating combination of different components. The elaborately prepared courses were served at the pace specified by the guest, so that this highlight is equally suitable for a working lunch as well as a special lunch break, although the menu is undisputedly in the culinary league. In summary, the business lunch offers a fantastic opportunity to escape from everyday life and enjoy an outstanding star menu at a very attractive price.

We enjoyed the entire "big" menu, with great pleasure in every course. Each one was great in its variety of flavors and aromas and in its presentation. Extremely pleasant service, well-founded wine advice, impressive wine selection - everything is tip-top!

We became aware of the 5 during fine dine. We reserved a table quite spontaneously. The day before our visit we were called to discuss any allergies and intolerances, which we thought was great as they actually existed. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and were allowed to wait briefly in the lower area until we were escorted to our table on the first floor. Wow, what an atmosphere! Wonderful with very comfortable chairs! The menu was discussed with us in detail in advance. And that was an absolute dream! Every course is a sensation! The entire service team is so attentive and friendly! We had a great evening with fantastic food and great care! At the end I said: "It's a bit like a play!" The whole thing was worth every cent! Thank you all!

We both had an onion roast with spaetzle and it was very good. The meat is tender and the onions are nice and crispy. Add a naturally cloudy drink and the evening was perfect. The service was there quickly, but it could have been a little friendlier. We can therefore recommend a visit.

To be honest, I thought the "5" was overrated. However, I have to say that I was completely wrong. From the start the service was very attentive and friendly. The food was simply fantastic and easily exceeded expectations. Together with the tasteful furnishings and modern ambience, the "5" is always worth a visit. That's why it's 5 out of 5 stars!

We had a wonderful evening with Alexander Dinter's team. Very relaxed atmosphere with a good mix of service background, music and conversation. Throughout, the presentation of the food was really excellent and very appealing. The first two courses were very good and perfectly balanced, also thanks to the amuse bouche and the sommelier's excellent wine selection. With the third course of five came (as expected) a slightly more neutral composition. The actual main course of the Waygus was very good, but in our opinion it didn't offer any improvement in the chronology even with the accompanying drinks. In our opinion, the dessert was too savory due to the relatively fresh and smoky note of the cream cheese sorbet and not a perfect end to a star menu. But that's a slim matter. What was a bit disappointing towards the end was that after the initially perfect choreography of the service, we were simply forgotten for almost 30 minutes. Neither the final course nor the request for a hot drink or schnapps were actively offered to us. The sommelier tried to end the evening well, but for the price (over €200 per person) we would have liked a consistently high level of service until the end. So unfortunately we went home a bit disappointed.

Top food, top service, top ambience. From the welcome, aperitif to the end, everything was perfect for us. The star is definitely deserved! Keep it up!

We had a wonderful evening in the gourmet restaurant of the 5th. From start to finish everything was just right here. We will definitely come back and thank you very much.

To be honest, we were pretty disappointed. The 5 is certainly ideal in terms of location. At the reception we were allocated a table in the basement and offered an aperitif. What was interesting was that the music was played via YouTube, which had to be stopped to check the reservation. It can definitely be done differently. After discussing and agreeing on the menu, we were escorted upstairs and assigned a seat. You sit relatively close to the next table, but the location is still very attractive. The greetings from the kitchen weren't bad, but certainly not outstanding. It took a while until the first course was reserved for us. There was a complete lack of a warm welcome speech at the table. We actually know this differently from star restaurants. We constantly had other service staff at our table, which created a completely uneasy atmosphere. Certainly everyone tried very hard, but it was an extreme mess. The sommelier poured the wines, but served the sauces for certain courses or cleared the tables. None of this fits in with a star restaurant. The wines weren't all bad, but not a single one was really outstanding or a perfect match for the menu. In our opinion, relatively uncoordinated. To be honest, I have never been so disappointed with the wine pairing in a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it is certainly a matter of taste. The courses were really top-notch in terms of craftsmanship, but nothing could convince us in terms of taste, apart from the dim sum. All of the courses were extremely salty. Between courses, the wines from the next course were sometimes presented and served even though the glasses from the last course were still full. That's not possible and only indicates that the program should be completed as quickly as possible. Overall we didn't have the feeling of a relaxed evening. Sorry, we were disappointed.

Let me tell you something. If you will visit this restaurant you will not be able to eat somewhere else in Stuttgart. I highly recommend it, best in Town. The decoration is very cosy and relaxing, The service is top, the people working there are very professional and careful.. The real meaning of Hospitality.. I started the night with the winter spritz the aperitivo and I finish it with a nice desert kiwi 🥝 trifft mango .. The manager recommended me to have the set menu surprise and I followed him and I was really nicely surprised with the quality of the food, the taste, the presentation.. everything ❣️ 🔝 Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience! Incredible and unique experience. Was there for the second time and was completely blown away again. I have to say again, if you've never been to a star restaurant like this, you can't imagine what it's like. You discover new worlds of European tastes and that has more to do with an experience than with classic food. Food 2.0. Service also great. We were served by a Mr. Kaiser, who was particularly accommodating. The sommelier and the other waiters were also super friendly and it was just fun in a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended, speechless!!!!!

Wir hatten gestern einen sehr schönen und super leckeren Aufenthalt im "5". Vielen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter - speziell Herr Kaiser für seine sehr nette Art und Begleitung des Abends - aber auch allen anderen im "5"-Team. Meiner Meinung nach wäre hier auch ein zweiter Stern gerechtfertigt. Ich kann das "5" sehr empfehlen. Top Essen, super Crew, sehr schönes Ambiente, perfekte Lage..... wir kommen wieder !!!

The backdrop of the original Stuttgart main station in combination with the appropriate furnishings creates a very special ambience in which you can only feel comfortable. The entire service gives you a warm welcome and you always feel well looked after. Sympathetic, authentic and humorous - perfect. The food here is just as perfect. Visually it's awesome, but it's also in no way inferior in taste. Exceptional and intense taste creations and always the right wine from the sommelier if you want. The Michelin Guide says “worth a stop” - I would say at least worth a detour, if not a trip. Big compliments to the team from the 5th, thank you very much and I'll definitely see you again soon. :)

Erstmal unten Platz genommen, der Winter- aperitif war der Knaller und die Überraschung war so lecker, dass das Versprechen, so lecker würde es weitergehen, absolut zutraf. Das phantastische 5 Gang Menü und die Grüße aus der Küche - allein beim schreiben läuft mir das Wasser wieder im Mund zusammen ;) Der Rotwein eher hochpreisig, aber aus 2014 und sowas von vollmundig und toll - wirklich außergewöhnlich! Der Service super nett, aufmerksam und mit Freude und Leidenschaft dabei, danke nochmal an das tolle Team! Der Abend war absolut außergewöhnlich, in fast allen Belangen…fast…uns fehlen tatsächlich die außergewöhnlichen Sitzmöbel oben, die das Restaurant besonders und extravagant haben wirken lassen, nun ist alles „ein Guss“, der aber auch stylisch ist und edel wirkt!

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal in einem Restaurant mit einem Michelin Stern. Das Restaurant hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen und aus einem Abendessen ein Erlebnis gemacht. Das Essen war besser als ich es mir vorstellen konnte und genauso war auch der Service. Dieser hat mich nach anfänglicher Nervosität meinerseits durch den Abend geleitet und diesen zu etwas sehr Speziellem gemacht. Ich hab bis zum gestrigen Abend noch nie so etwas Leckeres gegessen und durfte davor noch keinen schöneren Abend verbringen. Vielen Dank!

Super freundlicher Service, toll angerichtete Gerichte mit ausgefallenen Kombinationen in einem schönen (vielleicht etwas dunklem) Ambiente. Eine besondere Freude waren der Sommelier und die überragende Weinauswahl. Schönes Erlebnis!

Gestern Abend hatten wir das Vergnügen, das Restaurant 5 in Stuttgart zu besuchen, das mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet ist und eine aufregende, abwechslungsreiche Crossover-Küche bietet. Unser 7-Gänge-Menü war schlichtweg hervorragend. Zusätzlich wurden uns 4 Grüße aus der Küche serviert, die unsere kulinarische Weltreise noch aufregender gestalteten. Das Zusammenspiel von Geschmack, Textur, Qualität und Optik der Gerichte war schlichtweg überragend! Mehr wird nicht verraten! Der Service war äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich, was unseren Abend noch angenehmer machte. Das Team war professionell, aber gleichzeitig nahbar. Einziger negativer Punkt: Trotz der von unseren Freunden hinterlegten Überraschung wurde diese leider übersehen, was im Nachgang sehr schade war. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war sehr angenehm, allerdings sind die Tische ein klein wenig zu flach, was das Essen etwas unpraktisch machte. Die Geräuschkulisse war leicht erhöht, aber dennoch haben wir uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt. Die alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung zum Menü war das Highlight des Abends und hat uns in Bezug auf Geschmack und Kreativität absolut beeindruckt. So etwas hatten wir zuvor noch nie erlebt! Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die eine alkoholfreie und gleichzeitig phänomenale kulinarische Erfahrung suchen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und können das Restaurant 5 in Stuttgart nur wärmstens empfehlen.

War zum Frühstück in der Bar. 65€ für großes Frühstück für 2 Personen. Frühstück war mittelmäßig, für den Preis aber leider nichts besonderes. 2 Rose Sekt für knapp 30€ ist schon ne Ansage. Service hatte leider auch nicht seinen besten Tag.

Das Essen war ein Geschmackserlebnis! Allerdings übertriebene Preise und überhaupt nicht transparent z.B. bei Getränken. Es wird immer nur Versucherle hingestellt, man wird nicht wirklich satt.

5 never disappoints! Our favorite thing about this restaurant is that the menus are always unique, interesting, and exciting. Is every dish the best I have ever had? No, BUT each dish is always something exciting that I have not seen before. The team at 5 is always striving to create something fresh and new for their patrons. I will also say that the wine pairings are some of the best that I have ever had and again they are so unique! At our most recent visit there was a red/white blend that they served with the first dish. Totally unheard of for me and it worked so well! Talking to the sommelier he explained how he and the chef chose that the one together. I love that the team is really communicating with one another to provide the best possible experience. Every time we go we get something fresh and new. It is a gray place wether it is your first time eating at a fine dining restaurant or your 20th.

Mein kulinarisches Highlight 2023 war bisher unser Besuch im 5, hat zwar noch keinen Stern, kann aber nicht mehr lange dauern. Ich war von A bis Z begeister. Es gibt da auch nichts mehr hinzuzufügen. Schaut euch die Fotos an und besucht das 5.

War schon ein paar mal im 5 und bis jetzt wurde ich noch nie so enttäuscht wie heute abend. Als wir ankam gab kein Empfang am Eingang und als ich nachgefragt hatte wurde gesagt dass wir einen Tisch aussuchen durften. Die Kellnerin kam nach ein paar minuten mit die Karten und fragte direkt ob wir schon wussten was wir trinken wollten. Ich bestelle einen Wein und es kam erstmal eine Probe von dessen. Leider war der Wein WARM!!! Als ich die Kellnerin darauf aufmerksam gemacht hatte sagte sie mir dass es kalt gemacht wird. Den Wein kaam nach 2 Minuten und es war immer NOCH WARM!!!Wolte es die Kellnerin bescheid sagen aber die war nirgends zu finden. Leider muss ich aus diesem Grund sagen dass ich nicht mehr ins 5 kommen möchte. Und dass auch NICHT weiter empfehlen kann.

Sehr freundlicher und kompetenter Service. Gut gebucht, ohne Reservierung kaum ein Platz zu bekommen. Essen sehr gut und innovative Kombinationen. Nicht billig aber angemessen.

Das Essen schmeckt gut und entspricht natürlich dem Preis. Die Portionen empfand ich als zu klein und auch nach dem Menü mit mehreren Gängen, musste ich zu Hause erstmal was essen um satt zu werden. Die Kellner machen einen sehr freundlichen Eindruck und sind sehr aufmerksam.

Die Preise sind völlig überteuert. Die Portionen sind zum anschauen da, aber nicht zum Essen, da sie so klein sind um nicht zu sagen mikro.

Das 5 ist ein hervorragendes Restaurant. Der Service ist sehr gut, freundlich, top organisiert und sie machen eine gute Atmosphäre in der man sich wohl fühlt. Das Essen ist ein absolutes Highlight. Jeder Gang war ein Geschmackserlebnis. Wie bei einem Wein tasting, habe ich bis zum letzten bissen versucht, die komplexen Geschmäcker zu erfassen und ich hatte nach jedem Teller Lust den gleichen nochmal zu essen weil es so eine Freude gemacht hat. Das passiert mir nicht sehr oft, aus dem Grund kommt das 5 auf meine Liste mit den Lieblingsrestaurants

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend. Ganz herzlichen Dank an Ex-Fußballprofi Michael Zeyer und sein Team um Sternekoch Alexander Dinter. Neben den wunderbaren Gängen hat uns die lockere Atmosphäre in stielvollem Ambiente und die Weinbegleitung überzeugt. Das hat natürlich seinen Preis, aber es lohnt sich.

Wir hatten einen genussreichen Abend bei excellenten Services und ausgezeichneten Weinen. Das 5 Gänge Menü war perfekt, sowohl für den Appetit als auch das Auge. Der Platz bei offenen Fenstern und lauer Sommernacht, wohl temperiert. Insgesamt ein gelungenerAbend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wie immer gibt es hier schon seit langer Zeit nichts zu beanstanden. Hier wurde seit Beginn - hoher Standard angesetzt - und auch gehalten. Die lockere, stylische und gepflegte Atmosphäre tut ihr übrigens. Sprich: Die GF passt, dann passt auch der Rest!!!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend im „Fünf“. Im Aussenbereich, bei einem Aperitif, wurde entspannt das Menu besprochen, dann ging‘s hoch ins Gourmetrestaurant. Alle Plätze waren belegt, trotzdem hatten wir das Gefühl von Intimität. Ich empfehle einen Platz am Fenster, weil der Raum insgesamt eher dunkel gehalten ist. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und motiviert-locker. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt, z.B. dass wir uns die (phantastische) Weinbegleitung gerne teilen wollten. Die Produkte waren von höchster Qualität und die Teller unglaublich kreativ, überraschend und fast zu schön zum essen. Wermutstropfen: Alexander Dinter benutzt bei allen Gerichte Zucker als Gewürz. Beim asiatischen Dim Sum passt das noch halbwegs, aber für mich gehört Zucker nicht zu Fisch- und Fleischgerichten, denn auch die waren richtig süß im Geschmack. Das ist natürlich Geschmackssache; das Essen war trotzdem toll. Aber für uns ein Grund, nicht wieder zu kommen, war es auch noch so schön.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend. Der Sommelier und die Weinbegleitung waren herausragend und eine tolle Bereicherung des Essens. Auf alle Sonderwünsche bezüglich vegetarischer Gänge oder alkoholfreier Begleitung wurde ohne Zögern eingegangen. Ein absolutes Highlight! Das Preisniveau hebt sich jedoch ab von anderen 1-Stern prämierten Restaurants; >220€ pro Person sollten dabei schon einkalkuliert werden.
