Very nice location, great menu without any frills and super friendly service and cuisine.

We had a very successful evening. We had the 6-course menu with a non-alcoholic beverage pairing. We really enjoyed the menu, and the taste was outstanding. As you would expect, there were ingredients you wouldn't normally order or expect, and these were perfectly balanced and combined. Various allergies (announced in advance) were taken into account with more than enough consideration, and the menu was adjusted accordingly. They also followed up by phone to ensure everything was implemented correctly. I really appreciate that. The service was excellent. Friendly, unobtrusive, and very attentive. High praise again. We regularly compare the restaurant to the Cheval Blanc in Lembach and found the more urban and relaxed atmosphere very appealing. The non-alcoholic beverage pairing was interesting, but we wouldn't choose it again, as we didn't like two of the drinks, and then the price/performance ratio was no longer right. Wine, then ;) We had a great evening, with perfect food and service.

Overall, a great experience at Opus V. Overall, the menu was of really great quality and very well-balanced flavors. We felt that the overall experience was even more successful with the omnivorous menu than with the vegetarian one. Otherwise, the wine pairing was recommended, although the timing wasn't always perfect, which is to be expected given the price. Great service.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Abendessen mit tollem Servicepersonal. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gern wieder. Das Essen war phänomenal.

We were at Opus V on a hot Saturday evening and were warmly greeted at reception. We were given the choice of whether to sit inside or on the terrace. Great start! The first bottle of water arrived at our table within seconds, as did the first refreshments from the kitchen! What a welcome! We ordered the four-course menu with a bottle of wine; the service was friendly, professional, and simply professional. I should briefly mention that for a two-star restaurant, the four-course menu costs €160, which I consider an absolutely fair price! The cuisine under Chef Dominik Paul was completely convincing, from the first greeting to the praline in the dessert. Visually, taste-wise, and technically simply magnificent. For example, asparagus with Parmesan foam reminded me of the taste of spaghetti carbonara. The additional course of beef tartare and caviar... magnificent! The service remained in "ninja mode" throughout the evening, invisibly unobtrusive, but always keeping the table in focus. Every glass was refilled, white wine was always refilled in small amounts, and special requests were easily accommodated. We'll be back!

An unforgettable taste experience! At Opus V, everything is just right: creative, top-notch cuisine, excellent service, and a stylish ambiance. Every course was a work of art – refined, surprising, and perfectly matched. I was particularly impressed by the non-alcoholic wine pairing. Thoughtfully varied and perfectly matched to the food. A must for connoisseurs, even without alcohol!

Wir waren wiederholt im Opus v diesmal zur white Party. es war eine Offene Küche mit 4 Vorspeisen 4 Hautgängen und 4 Desserts. war vom Essen wieder alles super und man konnte außen sitzen.Aber was mir dieses mal nicht gepasst hat war der Service. Sehr unaufmerksam ständig vorbeigeschaut nicht nachgeschenkt musste mehrmals direkt aufstehen um nachbestellen zu können oder nachgeschenkt zu bekommen .Personal war reichlich vorhanden aber eher im Chill Modus. Klappt bestimmt beim nächsten mal besser.

We were at Opus V again on Thursday, June 12, 2025, this time for the white party. The food was all very good, but the service was unusually inattentive—it was almost like a chilled-out situation—seeing nothing and hearing nothing. Refilling drinks, ordering, and paying went very poorly. Unusually inattentive. I think things will go better next time.

Es war ein Erlebnis, jedes Gericht eine sensorische und optische Überraschung und Freude für uns beide. Die Küche hat sich sehr um meine bei der Reservierung angekündigte Laktoseintoleranz gekümmert und mir passende Kreationen angeboten. Die Bedienung war freundlich, vielleicht ein Tick zu distanziert, und die Weinempfehlungen fundiert. Wir hatten rundum einen wunderschönen, entspannten Abend bei fast sommerlicher Wärme.

We had a truly wonderful evening – the food and service were outstanding. Unpretentious and authentic, yet very attentive.

Very good, but also very questionable. I thought the food was really top-notch, and it was absolutely worth the money. What we were a bit surprised about, however, was the pricing for the wines, glasses, and bottles. We're happy to spend money on food and drinks, but unfortunately, the wines weren't worth the price. There are some such beautiful wines – you can easily get a good return on your investment and still make a profit from them. So, after dinner, we ended the session sooner than we had originally planned. It's a real shame, I would have loved to invite one or two people to dinner.

This was our second visit to Opus V and we were thrilled again. The menu courses are a dream in terms of taste, and the service is attentive and friendly. It's great that they offer non-alcoholic drinks.

It was simply perfect. Too perfect, but there's no other way to describe it.

Yesterday I had dinner here with my husband. Attracted two Michelin stars. But how disappointed we were. It's time for this establishment to cancel all the stars.... Well, first of all, I have never met restaurants with Michelin stars, artificial flowers 💐 THIS IS A SHAME!!️‼️‼️The summer terrace is completely unprepared for changes in weather conditions. The sommelier was next to us for 2 minutes and then seemed to ignore our table, either she was afraid to approach us, or the reason was completely different. Well, in general, the first appetizer was tonic in a green apple, with a spoonful of salad with coarse branches of dill sticking out and a small tartlet that even tasted quite good. The next was white asparagus, for a restaurant with two ⭐️⭐️Michelin it looked cheap and the taste was ordinary noticeable. The creamy cheese sauce was boring, they could have added some green notes. We could have tried. Then the next appetizer in which I didn’t understand anything. Oh well. Two hot dishes followed, the first was fish 🐟 Well, a completely boring sauce for it with the taste of fish 🐟. That is, fish with fish sauce is a FIASCO ‼️‼️‼️ Behind that, as I understand it, the filet mignon was beautifully presented, the sauce was too aggressively rich with eggplant 🍆 and shallots. 🍖 The catfish meat itself was perfect and the fresh eggplants drowned out the rich sauce, everything together worked perfectly. They brought the first dessert a piece of 🍦 ice cream in citron espuma, with a splash of vanilla spray on top. I was not surprised, but on the contrary, disappointed. The second dessert also did not live up to expectations, it also came with ice cream, in such ⭐️⭐️ Michelin restaurants, dishes cannot taste similar to each other.... The menu is either outdated or the cooks don’t understand and don’t try what they cook. In the end, I didn’t even want ☕️ and I wanted to leave quickly. My mood was spoiled, my expectations were not justified. We will never go there again ‼️‼️‼️ Yes, I forgot, the compliment from the restaurant pleasantly surprised me with both the taste and the original presentation. This is the only thing I liked...

The food was very good. The ** are deserved. Price/performance for the menu is almost unbeatable. For 159, I have never eaten at this level. Unfortunately the wine list is not adequate and the wine pairing offered was overpriced and somewhat weaker compared to the dishes.

For my 40th birthday, my wife surprised me with an unforgettable evening at OPUS V in Mannheim. A gift that couldn't have been more perfect! The modern, stylish atmosphere, the excellent service and, above all, the cuisine, which was awarded two Michelin stars, made this evening a true experience. Under the direction of chef Dominik Paul, we were served a menu that was impressive in every respect. The culinary introduction with salmon, hamachi and snacks showed the creative style of the kitchen. Each course was so perfectly composed that you wished it would never end. I was particularly fascinated by the country egg with beetroot and parmesan, which surprised me with its incredible depth of flavor. The quail with onion and mushroom was a masterpiece of balance and texture, while the halibut with cauliflower and kombu impressed with its precision and delicacy. The pre-dessert with green tea, honey and yuzu was a wonderful refreshment before the grand finale: the dessert of blackberry, white chocolate and eucalyptus - a dream of sweetness, freshness and elegance. And as if that wasn't enough, a selection of petits fours, including a Dom Pérignon praline, topped off this culinary work of art. Each course was an experience in itself - so delicious that you simply wanted more. Dominik Paul and his team created an unforgettable evening that made this birthday something very special.

At lunchtime, only the three-course menu is offered, which can be expanded with two extras—both highly recommended. The service is sometimes a bit inattentive when refilling drinks.

We celebrated my partners birthday here and we were extremely impressed by the service and the taste of food . The four course meal was perfect - beautiful looking but also extremely flavour-full dishes - each one better than the last one. The wine selection was great too. Fine dining at its best in Mannheim.

We were completely satisfied with everything that evening. From the food to the service to the ambiance, everything was wonderful. I had requested vegetarian options beforehand, and I was given a vegetarian menu that was in no way inferior to the non-vegetarian option. We will definitely come back for a special occasion.

At the kitchen party, we were able to sample a variety of fantastic dishes of the highest quality! We really found the concept of offering only four wines from a single winemaker (Schloss Schönberg) for an entire evening with 12-15 different dishes, including only one Pinot Noir, to be awful. I really couldn't believe that when I asked the waiter what kind of wine I could buy if I wasn't impressed with the Pinot Noir on offer, their initial response was something like, "Well, then you won't get any red wine." They then deigned (seemingly grumpily) to pour me another red wine, but I was still negatively surprised by how unconfident and tight-lipped they were. We won't be going to kitchen parties here again if the wine concept is "one winemaker - four wines - nothing else!"

I recently dined at Opus V with my husband, drawn in by its two Michelin stars and high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of what we expected. We started with a glass of champagne (€30 p.p.), which set the tone for what we hoped would be an exceptional evening. We then opted for the chef’s choice menu (€159 p.p.) with wine pairing. However, the wines were disappointingly small pours and lacked the creativity one might expect for €109 p.p. Whilst waiting we could not drink wine because we’d otherwise would run out of wine during the course. Non of the waiters anticipated but I’m sure someone should have seen that. The food was enjoyable but not particularly remarkable or surprising. We felt hesitant to voice our concerns during the meal, thinking the staff would notice and rectify any issues in time. But we didn’t really have the opportunity either; the conversation at the tables was very standard and echoed across all the tables. So, you don’t really have a meaningful conversation with anyone. This would make you feel more comfortable sharing your thoughts without it negatively impacting your evening. We found ourselves largely overlooked, feeling somewhat forgotten as tourists in what should be a high-end dining experience. Minor details also contributed to our disappointment. Our serviettes were not folded when we left the table, and our table was not completely cleared. Additionally, the presence of a loud group nearby detracted from the atmosphere. We also noticed that there were no hand towels available in both restrooms. At the end of the meal, we were left waiting for our bill for over 20 minutes before finally having to flag down a server. To our dismay, the bill was incorrect, missing charges for water and coffee. Although we provided feedback on our experience—considering the hefty total of €650—we felt our comments were met with indifference. In summary, our evening at Opus V was far from the exceptional experience we had hoped for. While perhaps regular guests might receive better treatment, as a one-time visitor, I would not recommend this restaurant. It was not the memorable night we expected.

It was a lovely dinner. There is no question about it. Lovely dishes. My favorite was the crayfish with tonka bean. The lollipop ice-cream was amazing too. The Swiss schnapps Etter was a huge pleasant surprise - schnapps are usually too strong for me. One of the reasons why I noted 4 instead of 5 for food is because …. I wasn’t sure the identity of Opus V even though the food was excellent. I wished there was something more unique about what the restaurant could offer. Maybe it’s just my unvarnished thinking but it could try to build a more unique identify as a 2-star restaurant? But the staff at the restaurant was excellent - he really brightened the whole atmosphere of the dinner. Bravo.

This restaurant was quite the surprise as it’s very creative, the food and combinations were unexpected making it fun. The service is polite, natural and friendly. This place is a must for anyone living or passing through Mannheim.

The Opus five is a two star restaurant in a department store… Unusual location but also unusually good service and very high quality. Regional dishes, interesting tastes, components… We were at the kitchen party, highly recommended to get to know the restaurant.

There's not much to tell here. All in all 5 out of 5 stars. No deductions, nothing... super tasty, beautifully presented, service great, ambience great... everything I would love to come back, absolutely recommended.

The food is undeniable, great and full of works of art. What stands out are the starters, which are even more creative than the warm dishes. Despite the absence of the sommelier, we were excellently guided through the evening by a motivated young man. We'd love to come back

It really was a very special evening. Perfect from start to finish. Every dish, every course is a delight. Even the bread was excellent. The service was attentive, always there, the glasses were never really empty. The atmosphere, the ambience is wonderful.

First class food preparation and presentation. We were also guided through the aisles in an exciting way with the wine accompaniment. The service was attentive and consistent with a 2* restaurant. To our surprise, we were casually told about a power outage in the kitchen, but we didn't notice it at all. Magic! We think it's positive that "extras" are offered separately at "extra prices" and that you have free choice, even if they were pointed out in addition to the card text. The cheese dessert was almost too normal. Thanks for the evening!

Ganz großes Kino, der Advents Lunch im Opus V, ein absolutes Muss. Eine Geschmacksexplosion folgt der anderen. Toller Service, wundervolles Essen, bei dem keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Der Küchenchef kann sicherlich mit den besten Sterne Restaurants in Deutschland locker mithalten. Wir kommen wieder.

Indescribably beautiful evening. The ambience and the courteous service were the first things that immediately caught our attention. We had the 6 course menu and loved it! Actually there were even more courses, the speed of the courses served was perfectly timed, the courses themselves surpassed each other in taste and detail one after the other! We were thrilled and would love to come back!

First of all: The cuisine here is beyond any doubt and confirms the two stars. All courses are of outstanding quality, complex and very tasty and intense. All plates are arranged artfully and with attention to detail. The menu is a real highlight. The guest room is furnished in a Scandinavian style with high-quality materials and looks very modern. This is how casual fine dining works. Through a window to the kitchen you can watch the chefs' concentrated activity. The service is also very professional, attentive and friendly. Despite the young team, the service unfortunately seems artificial and unnatural in some places. The courses are advertised in great detail and exuberantly, so that as a guest you could at least cook them on paper. Sometimes less is more, but that's a matter of taste. Something that is very present here is upselling. From caviar beforehand or as a starter, to additional courses and truffle upgrades, all stops are pulled out. The offer is good and justified, but it seems rather pushy. Because the upgrades all have to be presented individually, sometimes requested at different times and, if necessary, actively rejected, you as a guest feel a bit too pressured. The gastronomy particularly earns money from the drinks. That is clear here. The wine list is ambitious, to say the least. I've been able to experience this better recently at some other multi-starred restaurants. A sparkling wine finds its way onto the menu with a surcharge of over 700% and the Roederer Rosé for the aperitif costs just under €40 per glass. For that price you can even get Krug on the open bar in a Hamburg star restaurant. Well, Mannheim is not on the Elbe. On Saturday lunchtime, the evening menu is served in a slightly shortened form. For 30€ more you get another part of the mood in the evening, a full course and also a pre-dessert. This additional course is also offered as an extension at lunchtime, so that the overall price then exceeds the price of the evening menu. This offer is not entirely convincing. The menu can be viewed in advance online. It is not immediately clear what is actually a course and what is added to it because the formatting was somehow not correct. For example, the pre-dessert appears on the lunch menu online, but unfortunately doesn't find its way to the restaurant, so the guest has to go without it. All points that unfortunately cloud the overall impression somewhat, because with two stars comes very high expectations. I'm happy to spend (a lot) of money on good quality. In the end, this type of gastronomy must also be economically viable. Good products and performance can and must be paid for accordingly. In the overall package, however, the points here have, as the Swabians say, a “flavor”. Anyone who can see beyond the small dots will be treated excellently here. Real urban nature cuisine above the rooftops of Mannheim. If price-performance plays an important role, you should take a look at what it's like in Karlsruhe at lunchtime.

Meine Frau und ich hatten mal wieder die Gelegenheit ein Abendessen im Opus V zu genießen. Es war nicht unser erstes Mal und wird auch nicht unser letztes Mal bleiben. Das gesamte Menu war außergewöhnlich gut und sehr, sehr lecker. Die Getränkebegleitung (nicht nur Wein sondern z. B. auch Sake, Port) war perfekt auf das Essen abgestimmt. Und: bei Gängen mit Soßen wurden diese auch am Tisch belassen! Also keine optischen Blickfänge zu dem Soßen leider ab und zu verkommen. Einziger Schwachpunkt: Das Bries ging geschmacklich ein wenig "unter".

Nachdem wir gestern noch in einem anderen 2 Sterne Restaurant waren, muss ich sagen, dass das Opus V um Längen besser war. Die Gerichte sind kreativ und perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Auch der Service lässt nichts zu Wünschen übrig. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl und noch dazu durften wir unseren kleinen Hund mitbringen, was für mich persönlich alles noch viel sympathischer macht. Wir hatten einen absolut unvergesslichen Abend im Opus V und kommen ganz bald wieder!!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend mit insgesamt 14 Gängen und Getränkebegleitung. Tolles Ambiente, aufmerksamer und sehr kompetenter Service. Tolles Menü, überwiegend mit Fischgängen. Fantasievolle Getränkebegleitung. Wir hatten das gleiche Erlebnis, wie in vielen anderen Rezensionen beschrieben: Es gibt die Möglichkeit, das tolle Menü durch Zusatzangebote anzureichern. Wir haben uns dafür entschieden, und wurden nicht enttäuscht.

Wir haben hier einen wunderbaren Abend mit ganz besonderen Köstlichkeiten verbracht! Die Qualität des Essens einfach nur hervorragend! Wir waren völlig begeistert! Die 2 Sterne sind völlig verdient! Wir können es rundum nur empfehlen!

Wir waren schon sehr lange nicht mehr im OPUS V . Der Empfang war freundlich. Auch die kulinarische Einstimmung in 3 Gängen war sehr gut. Toll präsentiert. Die Jakobsmuschel war gut. Der Thunfisch war Spitzenklasse und der Krapfen gut. Ein schöner beginn. Das Amuse Bouche: TASCHENKREBS · PONZU · SAKE war absolute Spitzenklasse. Auch wieder auf 3 Sterne Niveau!! Nun zum ersten Gang, der total Outstanding von einem Koch erklärt und „am Tisch“ gefinisht wurde. Ein knackiges Doraden Tatar mit allerlei Gurken Variationen. Das war Weltklasse!!!! „Absolute Götterspeise“ das ich persönlich mit 3 Michelin Sternen bewertet hätte. Unglaublich, ich bin jetzt noch total geflasht. Wir dachten: WOW was ist den hier los???? Nun zum nächsten Gang: Tomate Mango Kardamom War vollkommen O.K. , aber das ist schwer auf 2 oder 3 Sterne Niveau anzuheben.Wird mir aber nicht in Erinnerung bleiben. Nun zum nächsten Gang: HUMMER · KAROTTE · YUZU Unglaublich dieser Gang!!! Wieder ein absoluter Volltreffer!!! Absolute Götterspeise!!! Absolutes 3 Sterne Niveau. Hummer super gegart und ein göttlicher Sud dem der YUZU die Krone aufsetzt. Absolutes Hammer Gericht. Ich kann es heute noch schmecken, so gut war das. Und weiter geht es mit: ZANDER · STEINPILZ · VERJUS Solide. Zanderhaut superkross. Schöne Jus, stark konzentriert. Machte aber mit dem Steinpilz das Gericht etwas zu schwer. Ich persönlich wünsche mir mal war anderes zu Fisch wie Verjus oder Beurre Blanc. Mal ein Aufguss dazu, gerne auch mit asiatischen Nuancen. Nur als Anregung. Alle anderen Gänge waren von unglaublicher Leichtigkeit. Doch dieser Gang , machte Rumms im Magen. Trotzdem war er gut. Nun zum Wagyu: WAGYU · AUBERGINE · SENFKÖRNER Tolle Präsentation.Das Auberginen Arrangement war schon sehr klein. Die Jus mit Senfkörnern sehr gut. Aber das Fleisch war doch eher zäh und es blieb einfach nur ein eher fettiger Geschmack übrig. Mir fehlten die Röstaromen. Das Gericht war gut, konnte aber nicht das Niveau einiger Vorgerichte erreichen. Nun zum Pre Desert: Himbeere mit Pecorino Käse Wow das war Spitzenklasse!! Super die Kombi. Endlich mal was anderes. Auch die Präsentation war Spitze. Das Dessert war auch Spitzenklasse. Ich suche jetzt schon nach einem Termin wann ich wiederkomme.. Was macht das OPUS V so besonders???? Netter Empfang Toller Blick, man fühlt sich frei. Tolle Tischanordnung, man fühlt sich unbeobachtet. Lockerer Service mit einer extremen Freundlichkeit. Der junge Mann, der meistens die Gänge an den Tisch brachte und mit äußerster Hingabe erklärte war Spitzenklasse ( da kenne ich keinen besseren). Auch der junge Sommelier ist Spitzenklasse und erklärte die Weinbegleitung super. Die kulinarische Einstimmung und das Amuse Bouche waren auf 3 Sterne Niveau. Auch die Dorade und der Hummer waren absolute 3 Sterne Wert. Das Pre Desert und das Desert waren 3 STERNE. Das OPUS V ist noch besser als zu „ Herrn Brand`s Zeiten. Sorry aber wahr!! Alles in allem ein Erlebnis, das zu meinen Top 3 aller Zeiten gehört. Ein perfekter Abend und vielen Dank für solch ein Erlebnis. Wir kommen bald wieder!!!!

Exzellentes Restaurant mit zu Recht 2 Michelin Sternen. Jeder Gang ein wahnsinns Erlebnis und ausgesprochen gut. Fantastisches Personal mit super Service, immer synchron bedient, vom Feinsten. Alles in Allem ein atemberaubendes Erlebnis, uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Das sonnige, warme Wetter ließ einen genußvollen Abend auf der Dachterrasse zu. Wir starteten mit einem empfohlenen Glas Jahrgangssekt von Dreissigacker, der wirklich vorzüglich mundete; gut dass wir zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht wussten, dass wir hierfür pro Glas (0,1 l) 28,00 Euro in Rechnung gestellt bekamen. Dagegen waren die anderen Getränke - mit Ausnahme des Mineralwassers (Fl. 0,75 l für 9,90 Euro) - fast schon günstig ... Das Menü wurde - wie in der Sterneküche üblich - in zahlreichen Gängen serviert und war optisch (zum Teil sehr filigran angerichtet) und geschmacklich herausragend. Für das wirklich großartige, mit viel Aufwand zubereitete Essen von höchster Qualität war der Menüpreis absolut angemessen. Der Service war angenehm und unaufdringlich. Die zwei Michelin-Sterne hat das Lokal zu Recht verdient!

Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man auf der herrlichen Dachterrasse bestens. Leckeres Menü (Saint Pierre ragte heraus) und guter Service wussten zu überzeugen! Lediglich der Sitzplatz auf der Holzbank war - über mehrere Stunden - unbequem.

Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Zu Beginn war das Sektglas mit Lippenstift vom Vorgänger verschmutzt.. Ich habe keine Entschuldigung erhalten und es wurde einfach mit unserer Flasche nachgefüllt, heißt es wurde nicht mal der Sekt ersetzt, der wegeschüttet wurde. Darf in einer solchen Lokalität nicht passieren! Interessante Gerichte, wobei mir am Ende vor lauter Gewürzen und Geschmäckern der Mund wund war. Vielleicht hatten wir aber einfach nur Pech. Schade um den Abend...

Von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde bezaubernd. Es stimmt einfach alles. Ambiente, Service, Weinbegleitung und natürlich das Essen kann man nicht besser machen! Wir haben es mit Glückseligkeit auf dem Teller zusammengefasst. Dafür kann es nur die volle Punktzahl geben.

Hier war es ein unvergessliches Event in toller Gesellschaft, was wir beide nicht so bald vergessen werden. Danke an das gesamte Team.

Wir fühlten uns wie im Urlaub bei offener Terrassentür mit leichten Wind und haben das Mittagsmenue in vollen Zügen genossen. Der Service war äußerst charmant und aufmerksam.Jeder Gang war ein Geschmackserlebnis. Beim Heilbutt hätte mir persönlich etwas weniger Salz besser gefallen. Den Sekt, 0,1 als Aperitif fanden wir mit 28 € zu teuer wie auch 0,1 Weisswein mit 18€. Die Auswahl der offenen Weine begrenzt sich auf Sauvignon blanc und Chardonnay was leider gar nicht in meine Richtung geht. Das wäre der einzige Kritikpunkt. Es war für uns ein wunderschöner Mittag mit einem herrlichen Blick über Mannheim

Eines der schönsten erlebnisse die wir je hatten. Opus V ging auf jedes unserer Wünsche ein. Wir hatten unseren 11 Hochzeitstag mit der Familie dort verbracht und alles so vorgefunden wie mit der Rezeption vereinbart. Das Essen war lecker aber gewöhnungsbedürftig, da solches Essen auf einer ganz anderen Liga spielt. Ich persönlich kann Opus V nur empfehlen und würde dort immer wieder Essen gehen. Nur ganz billig ist der Spass nicht aber ist jeden Cent wert.

We had multiple friends with different food allergies and the kitchen adapted to the allergies very kindly and smoothly. We sat at the chefs table which made the experience even cooler. One sits in a separate room and the folding walls open to the kitchen to watch the creation

We had lunch here when my parents came to visit me and they loved it. Amazing service and very good quality of food and presentation for the price you pay. Looking forward to the dinner menu in summer when they come here again.

Ein Abendessen im Opus V ist ein absolutes Erlebnis! Sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen und der Service sind jedes Mal perfekt!

I dined in here three times and tried different menus in spring summer and winter. There’s great Riesling and champagne collection. The starter is designed for wine pairing. If you enjoy the starters with water then it would be much less interesting. The choice and arrangement of the tableware is interesting especially for the desserts. The waiters are overall professional and knows everything they should know. Worth to give it a try on special day. I would recommend the full menu if you have the appetite. (Unfortunately I have difficulties understanding the main course and the soup sometimes. Maybe Europeans will love it?)

Der Service war dem Niveau entsprechend und erwartungsgemäß erstklassig. Bei den Gängen muss man jedoch in den Punktabzug gehen, da nicht alle die hohen Erwartungen erfüllen konnten. Insbesondere zwei Gänge stachen hierbei besonders hervor und konnten unserer Ansicht nach nicht über das Niveau einer gehoben, gutbürgerlichen Küche hinausgehen, vor allem weil Sie im Geschmack wenig überraschend waren und die verschiedenen Texturen gefehlt haben. Die Getränkebegleitung (auch Alkoholfrei) war tadellos stimmig und hervorragend ausgesucht. Insgesamt ein gelungener Abend mit leichten Schwächen.

Mit Worten kann man dieses Erlebnis nicht gebührend beschreiben! Die angebotene Kulinarik muss man schmecken. Das ist Kunst und Genuss in einem, gepaart mit außergewöhnlichen Menschen, die sich um das Wohlbefinden kümmern in einem herausragenden Wohlfühlambiente. Tu Dir etwas Gutes kann man bedenkenlos umbennen in tu Dir OPUS V - das muss man erleben! Danke Dominik, Addi und Team für einen unvergesslichen Abend, wir waren wunschlos glücklich!

Ich bestellte über voilá das Menü the Taste vom Opus V im Postversand. Angefangen über die optionale Vorspeise Kaviarblinis mit Sauerrahm, über das exzellente Brot mit Butter, dem Saibling samt raffinierter Aromenspielen und den Kalbsbäckchen bis hin zur Doppelnachspeise war alles von so aufregender Aromendichte, dass man geneigt ist wie bei einem großartigen Kunstwerk dieses Menü noch einmal nachzubestellen, um weitere Aromendetails herauszufinden und diese wunderbare Erfahrung noch einmal zu machen. Ganz großes "Kino"! Nur einen kleinen Wermutstropfen habe ich: Beim Saibling fehlten die Croutons. Somit war das Gesamtkunstwerk leider nicht komplett.

Einzigartige Zubereitung und Präsentation der Gerichte top Service.Jedes Jahr mindestens 1 Mal🤩👍😋

Der Gastraum mit den teils "nackten" Wänden ist zwar ziemlich rustikal, aber die Möblierung und Beleuchtung macht das ganze dennoch gemütlich. Der Service ist hochprofessionell und sehr zugewandt-freundlich, da passte fast jeder Handgriff. Das Menü und die Getränkebegleitung wurden prima erklärt. Ich wählte zum 6-Gänge-Menü noch zusätzlich den Käsegang, der mit 36€ einerseits ziemlich teuer war, andererseits eine klare Empfehlung, da es eine große und sehr gut zusammengestellte Auswahl war. Meine alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung korrespondierte ganz ausgezeichnet zu den einzelnen Gängen - das habe ich in der Form bislang noch nicht erlebt. Umso bedauerlicher, dass immer nur so sparsam eingeschenkt wurde! Scheint aber leider Standard in diesem Restaurant zu sein, wie ich in anderen Kommentaren gelesen habe. Ich bleibe dennoch bei 5 Punkten in der Gesamtwertung, muss dafür aber beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis einen Punkt abziehen. Denn 75€ für pro Gang allerhöchstens 0,1l sind einfach zu viel. Über jeden Zweifel erhaben war dagegen das Menü, sowohl qualitativ als auch in der Präsentation. Hier lasse ich gerne wieder ein paar Bilder sprechen. Da in manchen Bewertungen die Portionsgrößen bemängelt wurden, sei nur eins angemerkt: Wem es in erster Linie darum geht, richtig satt zu werden, der hat das Konzept und den Sinn von Sternegastronomie schlichtweg nicht verstanden! Zumal ich auch wirklich nicht sagen könnte, dass die Portionen so besonders klein gewesen wären. Gerade die Hauptgerichte (Rochen und Rehrücken) waren völlig ok dimensioniert, und es gab schließlich auch noch diverse Vor- und Zwischengänge.

Wir hatten zu zweit ein schönes Abendmenue mit alkoholfreier Getränkebegleitung. Das Essen und die Ideen der Kombinationen waren wirklich toll. Der Nachtisch war etwas enttäuschend und konnte nicht überzeugen. Der Service war sehr gut. Ein Stern weniger gibt es für die zu kalt eingestellte Klimaanlage. Die Kälte machte den Abend ungemütlich und lud nicht zum Verweilen ein. Zudem war die alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung nicht ihr Geld wert. Es wurde minimalst eingeschenkt und geschmacklich waren die sog. Säfte wirklich nicht empfehlenswert.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben durchgehend fantastischer Service am Abend. Alles frisch sehr lecker! Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Nette, gemütliche Atmosphäre.
