Always a great idea! Probably the best classical french restaurant in the region. Amazing products transformed into amazing dishes! We had our birthday celebration there and it was just amazing! Highly recommended to every foodie and fine dining enthusiast. Also a huuuge selection of wines! Wine lovers - this is a must visit for you!

We ate at Doblers for the second time yesterday... There were four of us and the bill ended up being around €800. Everything was fine except for my main course. We had cod three times as main courses and the veal fillet once. Twice the cod was perfect (nice pieces, perfectly cooked). Unfortunately, I got the end piece, which was completely overcooked and dry. I don't think that's acceptable for a €53 dish. Here, like all the other guests, I got a middle piece. This isn't to say that the end pieces should be thrown away. However, this isn't suitable for a main course. We brought this up, but it was completely ignored, which is unacceptable, especially in a restaurant with a Michelin star. At this point, not only did the kitchen serve something they shouldn't have, but unfortunately, the service also completely failed due to a lack of competence. A real shame...

It was a perfect evening with excellent and exceptional food. By the end of the four-course meal, we were pleasantly full; everything was fresh and tasty, without the overly lavish sauces or other condiments that are typical of other Michelin-starred restaurants. The service was also very attentive, and the chef personally introduced himself.

Perfect for a special evening, exquisite dishes, lovingly and meticulously prepared, will give your taste buds a workout. But there was also plenty of filling side dishes. Highly recommended

Dobler's One of the few Michelin-starred restaurants open for lunch. They offer 3- and 4-course menus, as well as individual meals, especially for extended lunch breaks. You can preview the dishes in advance on the well-designed website. Reservations are also made through the website, which is easy, and response times are short. The restaurant is located directly behind the Kunsthalle (Art Gallery), or 500 meters from the Rose Garden and the Water Tower, which stands at the entrance to the Planken pedestrian zone. It's also a 500-meter walk from the main train station. If you don't mind the price, DOBLER'S is worth the trip! The ambience is clean and sober, allowing you to indulge in indulgence with joy. The chef and his team have been able to defend their Michelin-star 🌟 once again, for the umpteenth time! The entire service is plentiful, extremely courteous, competent, and the interaction was almost affectionate. Everyone there strives to give you a good time, so DOBLER'S stays in your mind and heart 💚, at least for us. Give DOBLER'S a chance, and I'm firmly convinced you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening that we were able to spend with you on the occasion of our 30th wedding anniversary. From the excellent service team, to the exquisitely selected menu, to the excellent wine pairing, everything was perfect. It's rare that there are no weak points on such an evening, but there were none. We started at Dobler's L'epi d'Or over 30 years ago, and now we've come full circle. Since we now live near Mannheim again, we'll certainly be back more often.

My wife and I tried the 3-course lunch menu in the beginning of May. The experience was beyond our expectations and we enjoyed a lot. Overall, fully worthy of its Michelin one-star. All dishes are very well prepared. Appetizers, main courses, desserts, and even the free snacks were seasoned excellently. The flavors were prominent and balanced, almost impeccable. Although the presentations were not particularly outstanding, they were still pleasing. We will definitely revisit this restaurant.

The atmosphere is elegant, but by no means stuffy - hospitality is lived here. The cuisine at Dobler's is a true masterpiece. The French-Mediterranean orientation is reflected in every dish - refined, harmonious and of the highest quality. Every course was a pleasure where you could literally taste the attention to detail. What was particularly impressive was the perfect balance of flavors and the artful presentation of the dishes. A highlight was the excellent service: everyone in the team was attentive, but never intrusive. We felt completely looked after without it seeming too formal. The wine pairing is particularly noteworthy - if you don't want to worry about which wine you want to drink when choosing a wine, you're in the best hands with Matheo. The recommendations were not only perfectly matched to the dishes, but also a treat in themselves. For me the best restaurant in Mannheim, I was there 3 times and was never disappointed. Was there again after 2-3 years, the food was good as always. But the prices surprised me. They were extremely expensive. € 500,-- for 3 menus (one davov vegi) without wine is already steep

The best food I have eaten in Mannheim for years. Perfect and attentive service, very nice ambience and excellent food. We ordered the 5-course menu, where you have two dishes to choose from per course. There was a good mix of fish, meat and seafood. Everything was very nicely prepared and the portion sizes were more than adequate.

It was our first time there and it was excellent. Nice atmosphere, great service and very tasty food. And the portions were big enough to fill you up even with three courses. And gluten-free was no problem at all... We'll definitely be back.

Dobler’s in Mannheim is and remains an institution when it comes to fine cuisine in the region. Fantastic classic dishes, warm service and very good value for money for the level offered.

Not a hint of a Michelin Star restaurant is here to be found. The service was so riddled with mistakes, from dropping cuttlery to bringing wrong courses - I could go on and on how badly this servers are trained. the food lacked technique and the amounts were off-balance. the ambiance was 0, from my point of view an 0815 pizzaria. the Michelian hasnt lead my down as much as this time in Mannheim, shame.

Excellent meal from beginning to end. A creative amuse gueule (creme brulee of four gras), one of the best halibut dishes I have eaten (with a beurre blanc flavoured with woodruff) to a perfect dessert. Wonderful. Very attentive service, although they in the end overcharged us (5 courses instead of four), so check your bill.

From the moment we walked in to the point where we had to say goodbye with a heavy heart, everything was just perfect. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish at the same time. You immediately feel welcome, supported by the super friendly staff who really know what hospitality is all about. The menu is to die for. Everything we tried was a hit. Especially the scallops - you have to try them. It's obvious that they place great importance on fresh and high quality ingredients. And the wine – a perfect complement that rounds off every dish wonderfully. The sommelier impressed us with his know-how and gave exactly the right recommendations. In short: Doblers is the place you can't miss. I can't wait to come back and anyone looking for a top culinary experience!

Just a warm, old school classic Michelin restaurant! Very, very good food, wonderful regional and international wines. Personal and warm service without being intrusive. If you want to enjoy classic “Michelin cuisine”, this is absolutely the right place. I think the price-performance ratio is good. Compared to other restaurants in this class, I actually think it's very good. The lunch menu offered is, in my opinion, a good introduction to this type of restaurant, at a very reasonable price. Above all, the classic but relaxed atmosphere is an important plus for me personally.

Eine der ersten Adressen bei den Restaurants in und um Mannheim. Und das seit vielen Jahren, ja Jahrzehnten. Bei jedem Besuch war die Qualität der Speisen extrem gut. Man hat die Möglichkeit einer Menüwahl, drei, vier oder fünf Gänge. Vor allem die Hauptspeisen sind fleisch- und fischlastig. Zu den Gängen kommen Grüße aus der Küche, Brot und nach dem Essen eine Auswahl kleiner süßen Teilchen. Siehe Fotos. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das gilt für alle im Service, inklusive der sehr sympathischen Frau Dobler. Klar, die Preise sind sehr gehoben. Unter 100 Euro pro Person geht abends praktisch nichts. Ich würde mit mehr rechnen, auch ohne große Ausflüge in die Welt der Weine oder Champagner.

It'd have been 5 star review from me. Food is great but be cautious there is no English menu. We do the Google Translate but even so we told the waitress who can speak well English. We specifically order a Course Menu which there is Lunch Course Menu. So my wife orders one Course and I ordered a different course. I even ask the waiter how much difference between 4 and 5 course without dessert, so the waitress is well aware that we order different Course set. But when the bill comes, my wife's course is correct but mine is a la carte order which ends up much more expensive than the course ordering. The restaurant explanation is my course set must order for 2 people but she did not explain anything not even when I ask between 4 and 5 course. In the bill, I have also found one extra item charged which I did not order. So she said it was a mistake and take that item off the bill. Ummm...... Food is good for 1 michelin star, service is good. But not very happy with no explanation of order 2 person same course where I have emphasize the 4 and 5 course price. What happen if we did not find the item we did not order then we will be overcharged.

Das Dobler´s ist eine Institution in Mannheim . Seit Jahren mit konstanter Leistung der Sterneküche , geht nun in die Hände des langjährigen Souchefs über. Der überraschte uns gestern Abend mit einem perfekten Menü. Der nette und freundliche Service sowie die fachkundige Sommeliere machten den Abend perfekt. Optimal gegarter Heilbutt an Beurre Blanc, eine tolle Variante des Onsenei. Aber die Krönung war die Rehkeule mit der besten Sauce, die ich seit langem genossen habe. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

From amuse bouche to desert we enjoyed every course. The wine list is great. But the best thing at Dobler's is the service. You feel welcome from the start. They are so professional and still nice and relaxed (no star restaurant stiffness). We'll be back!

Ist schon vom aller Feinsten was man hier geboten bekommt. Vom Service über das Essen. Auch Fr. Dobler stehts freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ist ja auch gehobene Küche. Dennoch nicht übertrieben. War wirklich ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, dass man sich gönnen sollte.

Le restaurant est petit (moins de 10 tables) Il n'est pas facile de trouver une table. Cuisine traditionnelle de bonne qualité. C'est un restaurant avec une clientèle d'habitués, ce qui est bon signe. Très bonne cave à prix modérés.

Très bon restaurant gastronomique, service un peu lent entre l’entrée et le plat puis entre le plat et le dessert (38mn à chaque fois) 2h30 pour un repas complet pour une table de 4 personnes. Il faut en tenir compte si vous faites du tourisme à Mannheim. Mais le restaurant mérite le détour, merci pour cet excellent repas et l’accueil convivial.

Die Gerichte, vom Amuse-Gueule bis zu den Abschlusspralinen, waren alle qualitativ sowie optisch exquisit und haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr gastorientiert und kompetent-einfach perfekt. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Über die Parkplatzsituation kann ich leider keine Auskunft geben, da wir mit dem Taxi dorthin gefahren sind.

Der Service war sehr gut ... könnte, auch wenn es ein Sternerestaurant ist, etwas lockerer sein. Hier möchte ich die männliche Bedienung hervorheben. Leider weiss ich den Namen nicht mehr. Sehr schönes, geschmackvolles Ambiente, auch wenn man das von Aussen nicht denken würde. Das Doblers können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
