A lovely, rustic restaurant (apple wine tavern) with delicious Hessian food and reasonable prices. The waiters are all very friendly and funny. Highly recommended.

Excellent price-performance ratio in terms of portion sizes and rock-solid quality. The Jägerschnitzel was delicious, the large portion even filled me up. When it comes to salad, I would do it differently, perhaps use more lamb's lettuce or higher quality types of lettuce. Nevertheless, it deserves 5 stars because of the price-performance ratio and the super nice service.

The place is very atmospheric, but unfortunately it clearly lacks comfort, care and good cuisine. I took Jagerschnitzel with potatoes and it was simply terrible - overcooked in old oil and covered in an incomprehensible sauce with pieces of champignons. There is a smell of fumes in the establishment, and the cook is constantly touching the glass and constantly checking to see if you like everything. It might be nice to drink here in the summer, but I won't eat here again.

Un auténtico y atmosférico restaurante alemán. Llegamos sin una reserva, pero el propietario se las arregló para encajarnos. La comida estaba bien cocinada y presentada. Sin duda recomendable.

The portions were very good. The staff was really super friendly. Because of an operation I was only able to eat very little and asked for a second plate so I could eat with my daughter. This was complied with very kindly. We had a lovely evening in a large group that was only registered at short notice. Thanks for that. P.S. Parking in the area is a bit difficult. But you can finish eating straight away like this 😀

Amazing staff, really helpful with gluten free and dairy free options. Very well done traditional food, we had the chicken schnitzel and the potatoes with green sauce and eggs. The green sauce (grune soße) was so delicious, nothing like we’ve had before! And we tried the apfelwien, which was super refreshing and went well with dinner. Really recommend trying this place for dinner! Great atmosphere and great food. Lots of vegan, gluten free options!! Love love love

Good home cooking with a Frankfurt touch. U too close to the ECB or the VHS. Fast and tasty. I had breaded veal schnitzel with salad. Äppler in Bembel was really good. 👍 especially good for outside with friends on warm days. You're sitting right on Sonnemann Allee.
