Simple environment with no frills. Excellent cuisine and beers!!

I was in Frankfurt on a business trip and was there for the first time. The food was just really great. Everything is homemade, quickly on the table, very hot and really tasty. If I'm in Frankfurt again this will be my first stop.

More is not possible... Really well rounded here...huge portions. Very good prices. The service is unusually friendly... if you are in Frankfurt you have to stop here..!! Frankfurter Krüstchen was great. I would also give 10 stars

Well, at first we were surprised and then we wanted to enjoy Frankfurt cuisine. Once again we were surprised that what we got on the table was good and very digestible. Will come there again to Hanauer Landstrasse 86 in Frankfurt-Ost.

Mit einem Freund und Kollegen habe ich mich hier verabredet, weil er in der Nähe etwas zu tun hatte - und wir sind beide pappsatt wieder rausgekommen: sehr gute Schnitzel, danach noch einen hervorragenden Espresso. Sehr freundlicher und netter Service. Es hat einfach alles sehr gut gepaßt.

Great food, very friendly and competent service. Great price/performance ratio. The shop looks a bit old-fashioned at first glance, but it is very cozy and of a great quality.

If you’re a tourist in Frankfurt and is looking after a real germany food experience this is the place. Great portion size, full of flavour and really good service. I ordered a schnitzel with mushroom cream and it was wonderful. I really recommend it ✨

Extremely attentive and friendly service, even for children. There is also fine food of excellent quality: Greene sauce with boiled beef that melts in your mouth and real fried potatoes. These are all good reasons to come back. Thank you very much for this incredible surprise!

Our flight was delayed, and we arrived very tired and late to Frankfurt. We found this restaurant, went in and the staff were so welcoming. Food was OMG, perfect schnitzel with fries and salad. You should definitely try it.

German food is good but it is very expensive, or maybe they scammed us for seeing us as foreigners since they charged us €28 for the schnitzel each and €21 for a goat cheese salad

Frankfurter Küche is consistently the best-tasting, best-seasoned German food in Frankfurt.. The combination of the owner’a heritage with traditional cuisines creates the perfect balance. The staff are very kind and accommodating. It's my favorite place for German cusine and the only place I recommend to out visitors.

Obwohl ich schon öfter in der Frankfurter Küche gegessen habe, war ich heute nicht zufrieden. Die Bratkartoffeln waren matschig. Ich nehme an, dass sie in der Mikrowelle erhitzt wurden. Als die Bedienung den Teller abräumte, erkundigte sich die Dame, ob es mir nicht geschmeckt hatte. Sie blieb jedoch nicht stehen. Ich wollte ihr eine Rückmeldung geben, jedoch war es mir nicht möglich. Ich stand auf, um ihr die Rückmeldung an der Theke zu geben, damit sie nicht in Erklärungsnot vor anderen Gästen gerät. Anstatt mir zuzuhören, überreichte sie mir die Rechnung. Daraufhin teilte ich Ihrem Kollegen mit, dass ich unzufrieden bin. Er antwortete, dass seine Kollegin neu sei. Ich bin enttäuscht aus dem Restaurant gegangen. Auf meine Ankündigung, eine Rezension im Internet veröffentlichen zu wollen, sagte er: „Dann ist das so!".

Coming from Hawaii, the food was great and outstanding service, family oriented restaurant.

I used to come here very often because the price-performance ratio was right. I now find it a bit expensive, especially for the main courses, so I've distanced myself a bit. I dedicate the five stars for service in particular to the one waiter who is really very friendly and approaches the guests.

A nice local near the Ostbahnhof and the ECB. Very good, attentive and friendly service. The food was very tasty. Gladly again.

Home-style cuisine and friendly staff.

We went with some friends to celebrate one of us's surprise birthday. We ate very well, traditional dishes. The menu is rich and is also translated into English. Helpful, warm and patient staff. Small and quiet place. The courses were plentiful, delicious despite not being our usual tastes given that we are Italian😅 At dessert time we asked if it was possible to put some candles that we brought; they told me that they would do everything they could since there were many candles (happy birthday) and the dessert chosen was a small slice and a glass... Expectations exceeded: the desserts were not small at all, on the contrary. Upon arrival, the music of "happy birthday to you" started playing in the room, the light went down and the clapping of hands started... needless to say, we weren't expecting it. Perfect evening. Highly recommended restaurant if you are in the P R O V A T E L O area!!!

Siamo a Francoforte per una settimana e oggi era il compleanno di una nostra amica. Decidiamo di festeggiare cenando in un ristorante di cucina tipica tedesca. Scegliamo, forse per caso, questo ristorante, vicino al nostro ostello. Locale piccolo, tranquillo ma accogliente. Personale attento e cortese. Menù vario e tradotto in inglese. (Certo non aspettatevi lo stesso che a casa.) Tornando alla serata, ordiniamo dei piatti tipici; arrivano abbondanti e gustosi. Arrivati al dolce, chiediamo se possibile, di mettere su uno dei dolci le candeline a sorpresa per la nostra amica. Ci dicono che faranno il possibile. Mai ci saremmo aspettati sorpresa più grande: ad un certo punto calano le luci e parte ad alto volume la canzone "happy birthday to you". Lo staff aveva organizzato la sorpresa meglio di noi con un'atmosfera di festa. Non vi dico la sorpresa e anche un po' di imbarazzo. La serata è stata la più bella mai vissuta quì. Grazie mille Frankfurter Küche. Esperienza indimenticabile.

Nomene non est omen, because you really shouldn't describe your restaurant as "Frankfurt cuisine" if there is also good home-style, local cuisine, but the majority of the dishes are of Indian influence, like the owner himself. Potato soup with Frankfurt sausages was tasty, with potato and vegetable pieces it was probably made at home and not out of a bag. The beer, however, was quite watery, whether that was due to the Römerpils brand or whether the glass was still very wet when it was filled🥴?, who knows. But when paying with a card, the owner pointing out that you can also add a tip is pretty cheeky. You should leave it up to your customers to decide whether they want to give any and how much. Price-performance ratio is in the upper midfield.

Frankfuter küche is located on the corner of the square. Not very big inside but enough tables considering the space. Very wide menu to choose from. Too much to really get everything fresh, I think. What you get to eat is tasty. The service is really nice and simple, but very friendly and with humor.

Very authentic place with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Rich menu with local food. Very tasty food. Do not come here with a car. No parking totally around. Park your car at any parking places on other streets and walk to the restaurant. If you are a guest in Frankfurt and your accommodation is near (10 min walking) this place, I suggest it as a must be there. Bon appetite!

Fuimos a almorzar aquí. Pedimos la sopa de cebolla francesa para comenzar y luego compartimos un plato de pollo Cordon Bleu y vino con una ensalada de acompañamiento y puré de papas y todo estaba absolutamente delicioso! así que vale la pena.

Super tasty dishes on the menu. The daily menu is particularly noteworthy. Ate schnitzel and herring, both were great. The landlord and the service are very friendly and accommodating. Honestly, based on the reviews, I expected much more. The service was correct, but the food disappointed me a bit. The sausages were below average, more precisely, a pure industrial tasteless product. The steak was correct, but the sausages were absolutely tasteless. We expected much more.

Best traditional German cuisine. We ordered two pils, one apfelsaft with Frankfurter plater and schweinshaxe as a group of three. The portion was huge we did not dare to finish all. The food is very good. I personally liked sauerkraut with the mashed potato and pork knuckle. The staff is all very nice. They were kind enough to check on us frequently. Seen some comments on their English communication but I did not have a single struggle with it. Most staff speaks very good english and everyone is willing to assist us. Atmosphere is also very nice. They played some rock band songs in the background and it perfectly matched the local vibes. Coming from whose tastebuds are used to Korean food, I find German food a little bit salty, not only in here but really all the restaurant we've tried in Germany so far. If you feel great with other places in the country you will be just fine. Seems like everyone enjoys their food. Thanks for the amazing experience in Frankfurt.

Very friendly staff, good home-style food and especially nice cold beer in a stein. The “Frankfurter Krüstchen” was delicious, but due to the number of calories, I needed a medlar afterwards. But veggies can also find delicious dishes on the menu here.

Haksen is delicious! I also ordered a large beer and it was good. Even though I went late, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. They put a tip screen on the machine when paying, but the food was relatively cheap and they were friendly so I was happy to give it.

A good restaurant with a really kind male waiter. How was helpful when there was a stinging bee nearby us and my daughter was afraid of it. He made a funny comment of him being her personal bodyguard 🤣

The food was absolutely lovely and znd extremely affordable. The servers were extremely helpful despite us not speaking too much German. Definetly a place i would recommend to anybody. It has a very home-like atmosphere inside and in general quite rustic but dont let that tic you off as everything was absolutely delicious.

Vi besøgte restauranten da vi boede på hotel i nærheden, og fandt den på Tripadvisor, og blev ikke skuffede! Super hyggelig og autentisk restaurant med virkelig god atmosfære, virkelig lun og opmærksom tjener. Virkelig lækker og frisklavet mad. Fodbold på fjernsyn under euro 2024 var perfekt. Nem at besøge med børn, kommer vi i nærheden, kommer vi helt sikkert igen;)

I visit Frankfurter Küche almost every Monday after a meeting I have near the ECB. They always make space for us. It’s good to make a reservation though. They have the friendliest team there, their food is scrumptious, in the winter I love their dumpling soup with meat broth. Their Schnitzel Cordon bleu is my all time favourite.

Ordered for the first time today. Chili chicken and Frankfurter schnitzel. Both really very good! The chicken is tender and very deliciously seasoned, first fruity, then comes the chili, delicious! The schnitzel is tender, a huge portion of green sauce and fried potatoes, that's a joy! Gladly again!

Crowded shared tables and poor ventilation

While passing through Frankfurt, we wanted to try the local cuisine. This simple restaurant offered us a varied menu and tasty cuisine. The unmistakable sign of quality: the restaurant was crowded with German customers ready to eat typical food in a festive atmosphere. We tried the famous green sauce, very nice with fried potatoes and pieces of beef that were so tender (Grüne Sosse + Tafelspitzwürf) and another dish that was quite nice for lovers of full-bodied cheeses (Handkase Kartoffeln). As a drink, we tried the typical Apfelwein, nothing more. Fair value for money, count 25€/person for a dish + drink.

Quite OK... but not an original, but still the best place to go for lunch
