Very cozy, friendly staff, and the food is delicious and plentiful!!! And the prices are really okay.

Like every year, we went to Seppche to eat goose leg. Luckily, we found a free table, even though it was quite busy. Nevertheless, the service was very friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Great 👍

First time there, everything was very good (except for finding a parking space, but the owner can't do anything about that). The restrooms were clean. Very good value for money. The service was very friendly. I'd gladly come again.

I ate the brisket, the potatoes were cold, and after several attempts to inform the waiter, unfortunately without success, I had to get up to complain. Then the dish arrived with warm potatoes, but the meat was dry – perhaps it was cooked in a microwave. The second dish, pork knuckle, had a very unusual gravy. The extra salad was something they could have done without. I used to be a regular, but not anymore!

I was delighted to discover they now offer vegetarian schnitzel; otherwise, I wouldn't have come back. The food, atmosphere, and service are still just as good as they were when I was a child. It's one of the few German restaurants that has managed to stay relevant over the years, and that's saying something. Highly recommended.

The service is okay, although the waitress's voice is loud and unfriendly. When we asked if they had hot chocolate, the answer was, "No, we don't have any. You should be glad you have a coffee machine." Well, it would have been enough to simply say, "We don't serve that here." So, the food is good and plentiful; the schnitzel is a size 58 (EU), and there's a selection of different dishes. The downside is the rather unfriendly and annoyed male waitresses.

If you're looking for a typically classic Frankfurt restaurant, this is the place for you. You don't always have to go to the touristy spots in Sachsenhausen. Upon entering the restaurant, you'll immediately be captivated by the pleasant, typically Hessian and rustic ambiance. A dining room stretches out in the middle of the restaurant, resembling a typical outdoor area or beer garden, but with a full roof. The floor is paved with classic concrete. Plants decorate the space between the tables, benches, and chairs. The menu, with its home-style dishes, offers something for everyone. There are also special meals for seniors. The staff is attentive, friendly, and on the ball. Private rooms are also available for parties.

It's rustic and really good compared to all the modern pubs. Schnitzel day, knuckle day, and roast day are great. The quality may not be top-notch, but the portions are large, tasty, and great value for money. They serve good Frankfurter Äppler and a variety of beers. The waiters and waitresses know their business and some have been working there for years. The seating is rustic and comfortable. It's possible to reserve a larger table for 8 or 10 people. If it's just the two of you, we'll find a seat and you'll be sitting with other nice people. What always amuses me, though, are the knives and forks. They give the impression that they came from a military barracks that was sold off 50 years ago.

The Frankfurter Hof "Seppche" is a rustic apple wine tavern in the Schwanheim district with a large beer garden. This can also be converted into a weatherproof winter garden. It serves simple, home-style dishes ranging from hand cheese to rump steak. Friendly and helpful staff. The value for money is excellent, especially with the "Special of the Week." I come to "Seppche" regularly 👍

A truly historic pub in Frankfurt. We often stop by here; it's a great destination for a lovely bike ride along the Nidda River. Perfect service and super friendly.

They're a 10 overall. The food is exquisite, the location is wonderful, and the service is spectacular. We were there with our boxer, and they very kindly offered him water.

Very nice location. The beer garden is huge, with a great atmosphere and very cozy, and sometimes there's live music. The servers are all very friendly. Drinks and food came extremely quickly. The menu selection is huge, including schnitzel, steaks, grilled meats, Hessian specialties, and much more. There's also a special menu with portions for seniors. All schnitzel dishes are also available in vegan versions. Everything tasted truly delicious. There's nothing to complain about. The portions are very generous, making the price-performance ratio absolutely excellent.

I'm giving this place three stars for the following reasons. The food is average and only worth trying during the week when the specials menu is available. Unfortunately, the waiters there seem to have a bad day every day and are unfriendly. The ambiance is decent, and there's a covered courtyard in the back that's open in the summer. It's not really good here, but it's not really bad either. Hence the three stars.

Well, it's okay for a quick schnitzel, but you have to accept that it's a ready-made schnitzel with a pre-made sauce that lacks flavor. Unfortunately, the price is a bit too high for that. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately, people smoke in the courtyard, including the staff! If you take small children into the courtyard, you have to walk right through the smoking staff! Not very nice. Overall, everything could be a bit more tidy.

The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. The service was very friendly. We sat outside in the beer garden. Parking is difficult; there are only a few on the street, and you'd have to be lucky to get one.

The Frankfurt schnitzel was okay. A bit lacking in fried potatoes, and there's definitely better green sauce in Frankfurt. The service gets 4 stars, but we had to wait an hour for our food. That's too long! Overall, nothing special. If you live around the corner, it's good for a quick bite.

We've lived in the area for seven years now. It was our absolute favorite restaurant at first, until the coronavirus pandemic seemingly wiped out all its quality and customer service. I also don't understand why, in 2025, only cash payments are accepted, citing the high fees as the reason. I'm happy to pay 2 cents more for food if I can pay by card ;) It's a shame, but Seppche is no longer an option for us.

I ordered a steak with asparagus, but it wasn't good; everything on the plate was just carelessly prepared. The other dishes we ordered tasted much better, for example, the schnitzel with mushrooms was really delicious. That's why I'm giving it a 3. The service was simply perfect; all the waiters were super friendly and nice. The restaurant in general is nice. We'll go again in the winter, though. It was really warm, and they didn't use a fan or anything like that so you wouldn't eat while sweating. The prices and portions are quite good.

Very quaint and cozy with a great beer garden. We had delicious schnitzels and the service was attentive and friendly throughout. It won't be our last visit there.

We visited this traditional German restaurant and ordered a mixed platter for 6 people — even though we were 7 at the table. To our surprise, there was more than enough food for everyone! The platter came with a great selection of meats: pork knuckle, different kinds of sausages, sauerkraut, and even Grüne Soße. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. If we had known how generous the portions were, we probably would’ve ordered a 5-person platter for the 7 of us. Definitely a great place if you’re hungry and want to enjoy hearty, traditional German food.

Here you can enjoy excellent German cuisine and home-style cooking, and at affordable prices. I'd be happy to come back.

The food is great, but paying by credit card for the establishment can be a problem. A group cannot make individual payments, that is, only one pays the bill, only then do they accept the use of the card.

Quaint restaurant located in downtown Schwanheim. Service is friendly and fast. Good value for money. Schnitzel with cream sauce is okay. Breading is a bit dark. Overall, though, very good.

We're currently here because we're spending a night at the Steigenberger Airport and were looking for a restaurant where we could eat well. I'm absolutely thrilled and haven't gotten such a large and, above all, delicious portion for my money in a long time. High praise! If we stay here again, we'll definitely be back.

The menu is extensive and varied, but the specialties are particularly impressive - the schnitzels and Frankfurter sausages are simply superb. A large selection of beer and wine, fast and friendly service. A great place to meet friends or have a family meal - and all this at a very reasonable price.

We deliberately stopped there just to have a snack: pickled hand cheese with bread and butter and a half-liter of Rose Apple Wine. Everything was exceptionally good, exactly as we had imagined and hoped. Unfortunately, we didn't try anything else and therefore only give it 4 stars because there's room for improvement. We can recommend what we saw, tasted, and experienced to others with a clear conscience. We ourselves would be happy to come back. Staff were on the ball and friendly. Hallo für das es so gelobt ist und viele Menschen hin gehen . Was ich nicht verstehe das Schnitzel im Supermarkt ist besser die Bratkartoffel Horror so schlecht . Ganz ehrlich für Schnitzel ist der Weg umsonst und man müsste dafür sogar Geld bekommen :((((

It's nice in the beer garden for an Äppler and maybe Handkäs, but otherwise the food is just bad ☹️. Roulade and sauerbraten had the same thin reddish sauce and the Frankfurt green sauce definitely came from the factory. The women's toilet is in need of more than just renovation. Even if the house is an old traditional restaurant, it can be kept in good condition. I won't eat there again.

The portions were very good. The staff was really super friendly. Because of an operation I was only able to eat very little and asked for a second plate so I could eat with my daughter. This was complied with very kindly. We had a lovely evening in a large group that was only registered at short notice. Thanks for that. P.S. Parking in the area is a bit difficult. But you can finish eating straight away like this 😀
