Not so great this time. We had to wait 45 minutes until the first starter came and after an hour and a half the main course came. Something must have gone wrong in the logistics. The white wine was no longer cold and was replaced, espressos were on the house.

The service, he introduced himself as Sebastian, was very attentive without being intrusive. An example: There was still fruit in the glass of my aperitif. When the server went to clear the glass, I said that I would still like to eat the fruit. Without being asked, Sebastian immediately provided a small plate and a long-handled spoon. The food was very nicely prepared and tasted excellent. A bread basket with green sauce cream was served beforehand. As a starter we had a mixed platter with: burrata with artichoke salad, beetroot, king prawns with avocado, a mixed salad and hand cheese tartare with chutney and hash browns. My main course consisted of a grilled pulpo, two king prawns, a chorizo ​​and a saffron risotto. Everything was cooked excellently – the pulp in particular was tender as butter. My partner had half a farm duck with dumplings, cream kolrabi and sauce. The duck was deliciously crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. The dumplings were also soft and fluffy - so they weren't dry even without sauce. For dessert we had an iced Frankfurter Kranz. Here, a cake was recreated using sponge cake, brittle and vanilla parfait and served with red fruit jelly. The only point of criticism: There was a lot of the very dominant red fruit jelly, which is why the taste of the wreath was somewhat masked. Overall, the evening wasn't particularly cheap, but given the quality of service and food, it was definitely worth the price.

We celebrated my wife Christina's 60th birthday and everything was excellent! With 12 people we experienced a wonderful atmosphere. In addition to the once again outstanding food, this was also due to the great service. A huge compliment to Sebastian, who pampered us throughout the evening with his kindness and excellent wine recommendations. Thank you very much for this successful and unforgettable evening.

The location of the location is great - great view. We sat outside on the large terrace. It was very nice and cozy. In the evening you could snuggle up in a blanket that was on almost all the chairs. The portions are manageable. For dessert there was "Crème Brûlée" I was really looking forward to it.... and unfortunately I was disappointed. With crème brûlée, the crust has to crack really nicely and crispy. Unfortunately, this was not the case 😏 There was a light layer of sugar that was minimally flambéed. But the cream was delicious. Still, it's a shame!!! The location gets 5 P from me - but unfortunately the food only gets 3 P... in total we are at 4 P. 🤗

We had a fantastic evening in Main Nice last week. From the arrival, to the reservation and the great place with a view of the Main (sheltered from the wind), the excellent service (thanks to Valeriu - you mad our day, lively, humorous, quick and with gastronomic advice) to the enjoyment of the food We felt royal yet relaxed again. In fact, I go there often and enjoy special moments there and unwind with friends and family. Thanks to the team and of course H.!

A few weeks ago we had dinner again on the terrace at MainNizza. The fish soup was a dream, the schnitzel was good as always and my companion's lamb shank was a sensation. Our service (Sylivia that evening) was extremely professional, with a station size of 40+. This is not a given given the temperatures (end of July). The only downer: The wine list is nowhere near what it used to be. The selection in the lower and middle segment is simply too small for such a restaurant. However, this is complaining at a high level. All in all a successful evening. We'll definitely be back.

An easy stroll from our hotel and what a find. Best Schnitzel on our entire 5 week trip around Germany. Lovely outlook and friendly team. We visited during the Euro cup which was difficult but worth the effort. Dined on 2 occasions as my husband was really enjoying the schnitzel.

The restaurant was holding 3 big groups, which occupied the main building. Therefore we were seated in the external aisle which is not comfortable in winter, covered with plastic. The food was good, but it was served after 5 min to be ordered, giving us the feeling on not being fresh prepared, just warmed up in the moment

I wouldn’t recommend visiting here to my friends for business occasion. I made a special note about business occation in my reservation. Due to 10 min late arriving called the restaurant to explain that. There was no need for an extra explanation or even a reservation. There was no table setting ready. They didn’t do any Tisch set until we finished our meal 🤣. The service was unforgettable awkward and clumsy . The server was rude and unkind. He bumped into my guest while pouring wine and didn’t apologize . He said just ‘Hoppla’ 🤣. This was the worst host experience I've had in Frankfurt for more than 15 years. Big one - Hmm. Staff super nice and friendly. The map is a bit strange. Hardly any choice and definitely not something for everyone. Schnitzel for over 30 euros? Don't know if that has to be the case. But it was very tasty, you can't say anything about it. Waiting on the other hand? Oh well. We waited over 20 minutes for the drinks. It took almost another hour for the meal. Since it took a while for our order to be taken, we didn't eat until 9 p.m. (We were there at 7:30 p.m.) I would maybe try it again when I'm in Frankfurt, after all, you can always have a bad day (understaffed, etc.). But now the rating is like this, I'm sorry.

I think it's too expensive for the taste. We paid 130 EUR for 2 gin and tonics, 1 apple juice, 1 cocktail, 1 starter, 2 main courses (Cesar salad + schnitzel), 1 dessert. The cheese tartare and the dessert were delicious, unfortunately the Cesar salad was one of the worst I've eaten so far... Pieces of lettuce were too big, chicken was undercooked or something was strange, two cheeks were extremely salty, and I can't understand the extra honey, it just doesn't fit.

It is possible to have a drink in the bar below the restaurant, highly recommended! They are open every day depending on the weather and you can drink on site or take something with you. The environment is very nice and the prices are reasonable (6€ for a glass of wine).

The food is ok, however is expensive for this kind of quality. We had a lunch with some friends and we decided to split the bill. The waitress was not happy with tip in the middle of payment when the full summ even wasn’t paid yet by all friends. The waitress was really rude and spoke arrogant.

On the Main river. Tasty food we ordered schnitzel and cesar salad and two small beers. Fast service. Good cook! A bit expensive bed paid 65€

Good restaurant overall. Nice dishes and nice wine. We celebrated a newly wedded couple and they put together a nice desert to surprise. Would have loved to sit near the Main river instead of the far end of the outdoor space. But we still had fun.

Service was good and its a nice location. BUT Really over priced for pretty average food. Charged an additional 10% tip 110€ for 2 people for 2 mains & 2 drinks.

Tolle Location mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Main. Die Weinempfehlung war sehr gut. Die Vorspeise mit Handkäs sowie der Hauptgang mit Forellenfilet und grüner Soße sind sehr zu empfehlen. Das Trüffel Risotto mit Pilzen konnte, für meinen Geschmack, leider nicht mithalten, aber als Wiedergutmachung gab’s zwei Espressi aufs Haus.

Last Friday evening, due to a small emergency at the drinks counter, I asked to refill my aluminum water bottle with tap water. An extremely friendly employee filled it up for me straight away. However, when another person behind the counter (possibly the owner?) saw this, she grabbed the bottle and emptied it again. Then (for whatever reason) she talked to me in English and gave me the empty bottle back. In this store, business is above humanity, what a shame!

I don't know if the one at the bottom is also included in Mainnizza, but my opinion concerns the lower part on the boulevard. The food was very good, the service too. The toilet is a bit to the side (I don't know if it belongs to them or not).

I was forced to pay a 15% tip! (I'm writing this in English so that more people can see it.) I've been living in Germany for many years, and I'm well aware of the tipping culture here. Since I wasn't the one who paid yesterday, I didn't find out about this immediately. I communicated with the staff entirely in German, and I have no idea what went wrong that made you think you could deceive us because we're foreigners. There were six of us, and we spent nearly 300€, but we were forced to pay a 15% tip without receiving the total bill. What kind of restaurant operates in such an unprofessional and dishonest manner? I even asked my German friends and confirmed that there's no such thing as mandatory tipping in Germany. I can't help but suspect that you are discriminating against us based on our race. You have shown us great disrespect, and you subjected my family to unfair treatment. I'm extremely angry and disappointed, and I demand an apology! Add on: I am now releasing the bill and card transaction record from that time. According to my friend's description, when he made the payment, the bill showed that a 15% tip was already included, amounting to €336.52, but we only received a bill showing €295.20. As a restaurant with many years of experience, it is impossible that you are unaware that handing over all the bills to the customer at checkout is the most basic requirement. My demand has never been for a refund; rather, it is because you took advantage of him being a foreigner and unfamiliar with the process, causing him to overpay. We used the restaurant for our after business meeting and the choice was excellent. Stunning view of Main river and nice terrace outside. The food was great!

Our booking for 2 was for 20h30 but our starters did not arrive before 21h30 and main course around 22h. I do not understand why we had to wait so long for the food because the restaurant wasn't so full (plenty of empty tables). The food was ok, the employees were sympathetic and pleasant.

Uniquely beautiful location. This is understandably noticeable in the price level. Wonderful walk along the Main to the Römerberg with great sights.

The last time I was there was probably 10 years ago and I was very pleasantly surprised on my current visit. We had the deer veal steak with creamed chanterelles and bread dumplings, the chickpea-aubergine biscuits & spinach salad, the lamb shank and the Argentine Rodeo beef fillet. All dishes were extremely tasty, the beef fillet was cooked perfectly. Service was very attentive without being intrusive.

Excellent location, clean tables and benches outside and friendly staff. Family friendly prices. It's worth a walk there.

My friend invited her to her birthday dinner here. The service was very attentive, friendly and fulfilled special requests immediately. We were able to enjoy the delicious dishes together and even had a wonderful view of the banks of the Main. What was particularly special this evening was the view between the old trees of the Ferris wheel, which alternately lit up in colorful colors (main festival with fireworks on August 5th)!! Luckily the rain didn't stop, as ordered!!

5 stars for the food. Deduction for the fact that they quite conspicuously give the good tables to supposedly wealthier people and refer younger people and tourists to the worse seats. Further deduction for the water price of over €8, the waitress tried extremely hard to sell as many of them as possible. We probably won't come back, it's a shame.

We ate there for a business lunch during the week. The restaurant was very busy and I can generally only recommend a table reservation. Our table was outside on the terrace which offers a great ambience. With a direct view of the Main, you can relax there. The service was excellent as there were enough friendly staff. The food was also excellent and the waiting time was short. Definitely recommended for both private and business purposes! There is a parking garage directly opposite.

As part of a business lunch on August 1st, 2024, we had an excellent dinner on the wonderful terrace in Main Nice. The schnitzel is, as its reputation is, really excellent and our wine is perfect. But the most important thing: We were accompanied by VALERIO the entire evening - incredibly attentive, friendly, professional and with genuine warmth, he gave us an extremely nice evening - it couldn't be better! Came in highly recommended from our hotel receptionist. The spot we had was very nice overlooking the river. Staff was nice and friendly. Very attentive. Price is good for the quality of food. The only set back eating outdoor is having no control of the bees around this time. Indoor was not an option at this time when we ate here for dinner. This was a good finish for a long day of travel for our family. Very satisfied with the food.

Mainz is one of the nicest places in Frankfurt, by the river, french pizza, legendary beers, starting from 4€.

Die Mittagskarte besteht aus vielen Gerichten, u.a. saisonal - für jeden ist etwas dabei. Es gibt auch vegetarische Optionen. Wir haben Maispoularde, Lamm und Wiener Schnitzel (hervorragend!) bestellt. Sehr empfehlenswert: Großartiges Essen und sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung.

Dem Anlass gebührend wurden wir versorgt. Freundlich, zuvorkommend, menschlich. Sehr zu empfehlen und zum Genießen....
