Thank you for a wonderful girls' evening! Your goose with the many side dishes was fantastic and the service was simply great. We'll be back!

Yesterday we had dinner at Schuch's with four people and were thrilled with the food, service and ambience. Super tasty goose, beautiful and stylish menu, great selection of drinks and very nice service. We would love to come back. Thank you for this lovely evening.

Super tasty goose and a fantastic dessert. The service person was new and had to ask something, but her open approach made her likeable. She was very attentive, kind and quick. At the beginning there was a large group sitting at the next table who were incredibly loud, but once they left it became comfortable.

Es ist schon weihnachtslich geschmückt, die Tische haben einen guten Abstand zueinander, sodass man sich nicht gedrängt fühlt und auch sonst hat es eine schöne, warme Atmosphäre. Tolle Getränkeauswahl und eine schöne Auswahl an Gerichten. Und der Service war auch super.

A really great atmosphere! It's already decorated for Christmas, the tables are a good distance apart so you don't feel crowded and it also has a nice, warm atmosphere. Great drink selection and a nice selection of dishes. And the service was great too.

Four of us were there during the week. Nothing works in the run-up to Christmas without a reservation. We had goose leg & breast. Finally, the dessert variations. That was all very good. Service friendly and accommodating. Location is rather rustic but fits wonderfully with the overall concept. We can only recommend it.

I thought one waiter for 20 people wasn't enough. He was very friendly, but overwhelmed. The food, here Tafelspitz, was too salty with the vegetables and the dark sauce. 5 slices of meat were tough and hard, inedible. Unfortunately, the Schuch is no longer what it used to be before the Corona period.

The food there is very delicious and imaginative. The service just took a long time to arrive.

One of the best restaurants in Frankfurt. In a more classic, pleasant atmosphere with sufficient distance from other tables, you can have an evening that is convincing in various ways. First of all, the service is extremely good. The employees had the perfect mix of being friendly, warm, accommodating, always there and being natural. You are a great team! Thirdly, the concept of “apple cuisine”, i.e. incorporating apples into many dishes as an essential flavor element or reinterpreting classic dishes with an apple base, is something special and guarantees unique taste experiences. Kid friendly. Cozy warm place, friendly staffs. Restaurant almost apple themed. If u r lucky u get the prime table under an apple tree in the restaurant. Theres kids corner beside it where they can play. Toilet is so lady friendly too, with tampons n lotion. I heard the gents have hand lotion too! Do remember to make reservations especially on weekends. Food is very yummy apple fries a must try. We had the rumpsteak, deer mandallion, Lende pork cremebrule all yummy delicious!

Cozy, very suitable for our end to the seminar day (Bonnfinanz GmbH). Friendly, courteous staff, buffet and drinks (a lot about apples) were very good. Very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you!

Traditional restaurant in the 5th generation. Very nice atmosphere with outdoor area. Suitable for all kinds of celebrations. Children will never be bored here. Bus stop nearby. Some parking spaces in front of the house, also on the street around it. Since the grandson has been at the helm in recent years, the quality has increased enormously. The magicians in the kitchen are worth the money. And staff/service is (finally) as it should be. The trainee yesterday was so quick, attentive and humorous; a real joy! Last night we enjoyed: - Apple fries with tartar sauce on celery puree with fried onions and trout caviar - Truffle pasta bags in a light cream sauce served with mushrooms and parmesan chips. - Hand cheese (a must), then rump steak with herb butter really medium-rare, At the end we shared the delicious “little temptation” and took a 5l canister of sweets with us. Simply successful!

This place is beautiful! The restaurant had a very cozy/welcoming feel to it. There are Gluten Free options on the menu (although not many), and they take extra precaution with allergies. I had an excellent meal. I haven't had GF ribs in a long time, and the ones here were delicious! Homemade BBQ sauce & fries & coleslaw.

A mix of traditional & modern German cuisine. Foods were also very nice and we really liked it. The waiter and waitress were very friendly and helpful. Must try their handkäse, it was amazing. I had an Apfelwein rose which is very nice as well. Order took a bit long, but it's understandable because the restaurant was occupied by the time we got there.

Was invited for a birthday. The food was delicious, but the service was friendly when it came to ordering drinks. However, it was packed and there was a lot to do! The design of the yard could be nicer. It's nice inside though :)

Good prices but also very good quality. Various comfortable seating options. Both indoors and outdoors with a roof. Also suitable for large groups without it being too cramped. Even in response to email inquiries, e.g. about seasonal dishes, is answered. Although it is clear that means extra work. Very nice staff. Very helpful. With parking space. Tip: come as early as possible.

Very good restaurant for Frankfurt specialties and cider. I can only recommend Schuchs. The restaurant moves with the times. I still know it as a small child. Now it is a restaurant with modern cuisine that always has something to do with apples. I'm already looking forward to the next visit

Very tasty food and very friendly service

In the summer, great variation of the green sauce, something different... Big praise for holding a family celebration! Everything went perfectly, the food and service were top and our guests were obviously very happy. There is also an ambience that combines tradition and modernity in a pleasant way for old and young in every season. Host Jürgen Schuch, the Schuch family, and the entire team have mastered their craft, and this is how this family business has managed to maintain its very good standards over the decades and yet always offer its guests something new. Current: A smaller celebration with friends was also a great success. Everyone was very impressed with the food and the restaurant. Seasonal offers, very good roast goose. We always like to take a few bottles of cider home with us at the end.

Food and service top! The hearty variations with apple harmonized very well. The apple croquettes were very tasty. The service was super friendly and attentive. Prices a bit high but justified. Good selection of Äppler and grape wine.

Wir waren hier vorgestern und haben meinen Geburtstag nachgefeiert. Wir waren von diesem Restaurant begeistert. Ein schönes Interieur innen und auch ein klasse Außenbereich. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und beriet uns gut über verschiedene Apfelweine, von denen es tatsächlich viele unterschiedliche Sorten gibt. Wir probierten den Breaburn und den Quitten-Apfelwein. Zum Essen bestellten wir uns fast alle den Apfelburger mit Pommes und beides hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Wir kommen definitiv bald wieder. Vielen Dank, Markus Schuch!

Considering it's relatively expensive and considered an upscale cider place, it wasn't particularly special in the end. The food was tasty, even if it wasn't something I'll remember forever. The drinks weren't mixed properly and part of the order simply wasn't brought. Only after we asked when the starter would arrive because they had already started bringing the main course, were we told that they had forgotten and would now bring it, which we of course politely declined, since the main course had now arrived. However, this was only brought gradually. There were 9 people and half had to watch while the other half was already half finished. Actually, you should send the food out so that everyone can eat at the same time. Actually one of THE rules, in a restaurant and for a more upscale one, this should definitely be taken into account, in my opinion. All in all it was quite nice. The service was friendly and attentive. It was clean and the atmosphere was nice. But I don't know if I'll come again. I think there are other addresses in the price range that work a little better.

Excellent food Best service in a great atmosphere

We ate there again on Whit Monday, May 20, 2024, after more than a year, and were unfortunately disappointed. The food was good, but the service was catastrophic and, given the increased prices, just bad: In the best summer weather we want to eat outside, but according to the waitress it would be too bad old and we had to stay inside. I suspect that they simply didn't feel like it or were too lazy to serve outside. After waiting forever for the food, the free children's ice cream declared on the menu was "forgotten" and only brought by another waiter and after another wait. Sorry, but given the prices I just expect better service. Anyway, I'm going somewhere else soon.

Good atmosphere, good customer service from staff, and delicious food! The seasonal Spargel (white asparagus) was absolutely delicious.

We visited the restaurant as a large group shortly before Christmas. The portion of deer medallions consisted of two pieces, a dollop of savoy cabbage and 7 Schupfnudeln. At a price of over €30 per portion, it's more than paltry as a side dish. Unfortunately, the medallions were completely cooked through and therefore anything but tender, not only for me but also for the other two people who ordered them. I can't say whether the truffle pasta actually contained truffles. There was no smell of it, nor were there any truffle shavings between the mushrooms. Only the game burger and the beef broth were well received. Even though there were always a lot of cellars running around, the service was poor and chaotic. When no one came to the table for a while, we asked a passing waiter for more drinks. He simply replied that he was not responsible for that.

So I drive to the pampas of Frankfurt and expect at most purgatory, but I find paradise: Schuch’s Restaurant. The kitchen, excellent, and I'm annoyed that I didn't order the starter plate. But the main courses and dessert plate were delicious and the service was extremely friendly. Luckily for me, relatives are moving close to the restaurant, and my favorite restaurant in Frankfurt is clear.

Yesterday there were 10 of us and one employee was only responsible for our table. She did everything great and was very friendly. The drinks and food came quickly and didn't have to wait too long. We'd love to come back

Very nice atmosphere Very nice staff Lamb lukewarm..dry..shoe sole! Ratatouille... vegetable mash... I would like to invite the chefs to my place so they can see what a ratatouille should look like! I'm just writing for my dish...the lamb was somewhat enjoyable on the second attempt. Price-performance .. Inadequate.. !

I miss the old map. Apple bratwurst and apple schnitzel. Now there are only fancy dishes. Everything at a high level. But the Schuchs from before also had something. Great for a special restaurant visit. If you're looking for fried potatoes and apple fritters, you'll have to go somewhere else.

Recommended, although not cheap, the delicious food...

High prices, small portions. Few fresh ingredients. I had a sauerbraten. Unfortunately the only side dish was Pfanni dumplings and applesauce from a jar. No red cabbage or other vegetables. I also missed a side salad or a soup of the day on the menu. Simple starter €12.00 to €14.00. Main course from €20 to €30.00. The price-performance ratio is no longer what I used to know.

Quality of the meat is good but unfortunately the portions are not that big. Vegetables as a side dish are completely missing from the menu. Unfortunately, it is reminiscent of system gastronomy: meat, sauce and croquettes from a package. We lacked some creativity and freshness. Unfortunately, the prices have also risen significantly, so that the value for money is no longer right. Two pieces of pork loin and two croquettes for 26 euros... Still very busy, but unfortunately it has a bit of a "check-in" quality to it, staff friendly and attentive.

It used to be good, but you can now make good money with the laurels you earned. The prices do not correspond in any way to the quality offered. A fillet steak that was ordered medium rare arrives on the plate just pink at the core. The medium steaks from the colleagues at the table were well-done and dry. The brook trout for over 30 euros is a magically manageable portion, although one wonders whether the tasting version for 23 euros is the size of Spanish tapas... just under 6 euros for a beer is also outrageous.

Seven of us registered for dinner and were assigned a table near the kitchen. The smell from the kitchen was difficult to bear at times. The service was very attentive but a bit awkward. The food was good but the small portions in particular were significantly overpriced. In this price segment, not only the quality but also the presentation should be right. The Wienerschnitzel carelessly thrown on top of the potato salad does not show any inventiveness in the presentation. The ambience is basically very nice, but the places near the kitchen suffer from this spatial proximity.

I was very surprised. The table was set right at the entrance for 4 people, but only had 3 chairs. Answer to question, yes, otherwise it would just be more work to put the 4th chair in place, outrageous, just don't move your fingers too much. The food is served in soup bowls, arranged centrally with a smaller diameter, so the small portions don't stand out as much visually. Canteen-like. I'm not the only one who has had this bad experience. The portions have shrunk and the price has increased at the same time. 28.50 for a small roulade with 2 small dumplings and 3 tablespoons of red cabbage floating in a dark sauce, sorry that doesn't work at all. Service very intrusive, asked 5 times if there was anything else after the meal. No thanks, definitely not, that was it.

This restaurant single handedly ruined my New Year’s Eve dinner. A 5 dish fixed price tasting menu cost 100 Euro, WITHOUT a wine tasting pairing, which would have cost an additional 35 Euro. Time between each dish serving was over half an hour, and every course was bland and uninspiring except for dessert. A white fish wrapped in Lardo tasted as if it was cooked in a sous vide, with no sear to the pork fat and the fish turning into a gummy stringy mess. Service was lackluster, dishes to our table came intermittently and not everyone was served at the same time. All in all, this restaurant cost me 3 hours of my life and a weeks worth of pay for very average food and no drinks.

Tolles Ambiente, tolles Essen, sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir gehen mit unserer Familie inzwischen seit mehr als 25 Jahren in dieses Spitzenrestaurant, so dass es mehr als Zeit wurde, dass ich eine Bewertung schreibe. Über all die Jahre hat Schuch's Restaurant die Qualität des Essens außerordentlich hoch gehalten. Heute Abend hatte ich das 3 Gänge Gänse Menü, und es war ein Traum - dazu einen Apfelwein mit Quitte. Hervorzuheben ist auch der stets hervorragende Service, der sich heute Abend wieder mal selbst übertroffen hat. Wir hatten einen solch umsichtigen, freundlichen und perfekten Service, wie man ihn nicht allzu oft erlebt. Das fängt schon bei der telefonischen Reservierung an, bei der man mich fragt, ob man den Kleinkindern Hochstühle hinstellen soll. Was mich direkt zum nächsten Punkt bringt. Das Restaurant ist absolut kinderfreundlich und wir kommen sehr gerne mit unseren 5 und 2-järhrigen Kindern, die im übrigen das gesamte Essen komplett verputzt haben.

Verschiedene Apfelweine und leckeres Essen. Sollte man unbedingt mal ausprobieren, wenn man die Möglichkeit hat. Preislich absolut fair. Man sollte jedoch vorab reservieren, da es sonst schwer werden könnte einen Platz zu bekommen. Der Parkplatz am Restaurant ist knapp. Daher empfiehlt es sich, den nahegelegenen Parkplatz am Niddaufer zu nutzen - kostenfrei und groß

Hervorragender Service,tolle Essensqualität,einfach rundum klasse

Essen ist sehr gut. Allerdings ist das Personal teilweise etwas neben der Spur...sie sind zwar freundlich aber merken nicht wenn Getränke fehlen oder Besteck etc....das ist recht schade. Ambiente ist okay...für mich etwas überladen,aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Wir kommen regelmäßig an Weihnachten und waren immer sehr begeistert von der Qualität und der Besonderheit der Speisen. Dieses Jahr waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Nicht nur dass die Menu Auswahl sehr einfallslos war (z.B. bei der Vorspeise nur die Wahl aus zwei Suppen und bei der Nachspeise gar keine Wahl). Heute Haben die Hauptspeise einfach nicht mehr gut geschmeckt. Es war einfallslos und hätte auch in einer Kantine serviert werden können - die Roulade war in einer Suppen Schüssel serviert und damit war alles miteinander vermischt und schlonzig. Für den preis Sehr schade!

Meine Erfahrung im Restaurant war enttäuschend. Der weihnachtliche Gin-Aperitif, den ich bestellte, unterschied sich erheblich von den anderen (die ich alle probierte). Er war zu süß und schmeckte nicht nach Gin. Erstmalige Nachfrage erzeugte erhebliches Unbill beim Servicepersonal, welches erst nach mehrfacher Reklamation bereits war, nachzubessern. Er schmeckte im Vergleich trotzdem noch zu schwach. Die Kürbissuppe schmeckte zwar sehr süß, war jedoch akzeptabel. Zur Hauptspeise: Es ist mir durchaus bewusst, dass Naturprodukte, wie ein Wildfleisch Burger, qualitativen Schwankungen unterliegt, dennoch war die knorpelige und zähe Konsistenz des Pattys nicht hinnehmbar und der Preis für die dargebrachte Qualität nicht gerechtfertigt. Aufgrund der zuvor geäußerten Beschwerden und der Reaktion des Personals, verzichteten wir auf weitere Beschwerden. Wir äußerten unsere Unzufriedenheit erst beim Abräumen der Hauptspeise, welche komplett ignoriert wurde. Die gemischte Nachspeise für fast 20€ pro Person war unverhältnismäßig klein, dafür aber schmackhaft. Preiserhöhungen bei gleichzeitiger Qualitätsminderung sind bedauerlich. Wir waren enttäuscht!

Eines der vielen traditionellen Apfelweinlokale, abseits der Innenstadt gelegen, bietet eine etwas gehobenere Küche im Vergleich zu vielen anderen. Wir waren schon mehrfach dort und es war immer voll besetzt. Deswegen ist eine Reservierung dringend zu empfehlen.

Tolles Restaurant, durch Zufall (Maps Suche) entdeckt und nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Getränkeauswahl ist beachtlich die verschiedenen Apfelweinsorten köstlich. Das Dessert war so toll angerichtet, hab ich glatt ein Foto von gemacht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, macht nämlich einen besonders Familienfreundlichen Eindruck, durch die Kinderkarte und Spielecke.

Absolut empfehlenswert, wir haben dieses Urgemütlich Lokal durch Zufall gefunden. Auf Apfel liegt der Schwerpunkt, perfekt umgesetzt.

Wonderful apple recipes. This is an interesting place that combines traditional German cuisine with a touch of apple. Of course they also serve tasty apple wine here, too. My sirloin was excellent. I also tried the Sauerbraten and the kids had a Schnitzel. Highly recommended. We went here again recently. The food was excellent German cuisine. Love the place.
