The food was okay, the portions were large. The green sauce was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was a bit brusque and overwhelmed. We were left high and dry after our initial order, and even though I went back to the bar myself to order another beer, it never arrived. They could have at least asked if we needed anything else after clearing the table. It was also very crowded, though.

Meat and cider are good. But don't order salmon that's been thawed from the freezer (in hot water?) and briefly seared so it still looks baked... dry and hard like a shoe sole...

Waiters often "annoyed." Food takes "forever" +/- 45 minutes. Authentic Frankfurt cuisine and local. Children yelled at. Guests ignored at the counter. The waiters hype each other up, or rather, down. Good menu, as is the quality. I called ahead to see if they had a knuckle of pork in the oven—yes, yes. 45 minutes. I'll go back anyway.

The service was friendly, and the wait for the food was okay. The asparagus was hot and crispy. It was just difficult to find a parking space.

I would like to give a consistently positive review, as I have been a guest at this restaurant several times and have been delighted with the food each time. The variety of dishes I was able to try was good and very tasty. The service I experienced was also very good. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to make recommendations or accommodate special requests. You feel truly welcome and well looked after, which makes for an all-round successful dining experience. One small drawback I would like to mention is the payment method. It's unfortunate that you can't pay by card, which might cause some discomfort for many guests these days. In a world where cashless payments are becoming increasingly common, this could potentially deter some visitors from visiting the restaurant. Nevertheless, this is only a minor negative point and does not detract from my enthusiasm for the food and service.

Every now and then a poem. True Frankfurt cuisine followed by Ebbewoi! Snow flurries are a pleasure but everything else is also recommended! I'd love to come back often.

Delicious food. Great green sauce. Overall very good service. You feel completely in good hands. There is never a shortage of drinks and the food is really tasty. There is also a delicious daily menu.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is quaint and quite cozy. What is unfortunately not possible is the extremely unfriendly behavior of the older female waitress who smells of cigarette smoke. I'm used to the typical gruff tone in Frankfurt cider bars, but this woman really didn't hear the bang. For me that's a reason not to go there anymore, even though I always really liked the food.

We spontaneously came here on a Saturday evening, two adults and two children. It was very busy, but the food came quickly. The Frankfurter schnitzel was nice and thin and huge! Delicious semolina sauce, crispy but not greasy fried potatoes. Super tasty Kässpatzen (I know what I'm talking about, I'm from Bavaria) with a green salad. The Kaiserschmarrn was nice and fluffy with a super tasty plum rösti. The atmosphere is rather rustic with lots of wood. Wooden chairs without cushions, but adequate for a normal meal. Service was friendly and very attentive. They were thoughtful, for example, placing the hot food out of reach of the baby's hands. A changing table in the women's restroom with soft cushions, pads, and even diapers and diaper cream! There's space and an extra chair for putting your bag down. A bit chilly, though (in the evening in March). A challenge with a stroller: limited parking space, and very importantly: the entrance door opens outwards. First, open the door, then enter the stroller and park it behind the door (fold it up if necessary). All in all, great, we'll be back. There's supposed to be a courtyard, but we didn't test it.

We were visiting a friend and the three of us had dinner. The restaurant is quaint, but also quite narrow, so we sat at a table with others. That was rather unusual for us, but very nice. The food was very tasty and came in a reasonable time. When we are back in Frankfurt, we would like to come here again to enjoy original Frankfurt dishes.

We came here because we wanted to visit a restaurant that offers a selection of local dishes. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has a rustic atmosphere that we found very pleasant. The food was delicious, but we had to wait almost 45 minutes for it, even though it wasn't busy at the time. Unfortunately, no card payment was possible either. Overall the food and service was fine.

One of the best apple wine producers in Frankfurt. Very stable menu and changing weekly offers. Great emphasis is placed on quality, both in the meat and in the preparation. Have never been disappointed so far.

We were here with our “schnitzel group” and had a very nice evening. The schnitzels are gigantic and taste TOP. Prices very moderate. Service friendly. Tip: try the Alpenschnitzel or Frankfurter Schnitzel. The ambience is rustic to classic and you don't need anything more. We eat here often

Cozy student pub with good food.

Very nice staff! However, the room is quite cold, I had my jacket on even when I was eating. Unfortunately there aren't that many vegetarian dishes on the menu. I'm not deducting a star for that because it's a traditional cuisine. The cold bothered me more.

If you are looking for a restaurant with home-style cuisine, Malepartus is the right place for you. Delicious food and always a good selection on the daily menu or seasonal dishes. We always reserve a table as it can be busy. In summer there are seats available in the courtyard so you can enjoy the beautiful weather with delicious food.

Only guests from Berlin but local friends invited us here. Offer OK. Unfortunately the train ride here had tempered my hunger and so there were only 2 Frankfurter sausages. These satisfied my hunger together with the sour energy provided and the evening could begin. I'll be more hungry next time

The food is very good and there is a very interesting selection of dishes, both Hessian cuisine and other dishes. The problem is that you don't know what to take because everything sounds interesting. The service was very friendly and everything went quickly. The restaurant is very busy and you should reserve in advance.

Addendum: This year, as promised, we tried the Ditmarsch goose and had a wonderful, very tasty St. Nicholas dinner! Thanks for that! --- As always great! We've never had a bad meal here and we've been there many times :) Outside in the summer and cozy inside in the winter - always a good choice! Best semolina sauce in town! Huge, wafer-thin, crispy schnitzels! Great table dishes! Current highlight: a great goose dinner with huge, delicious dumplings, homemade red cabbage and super authentic service. Despite a misunderstanding about pre-ordering the goose (we wanted the Ditmarscher...we'll try that next year) we had a wonderful evening and are always happy to come back!

Leider sind 0 Sterne nicht möglich. Selbst die wären zuviel gewesen. Eine simple Beilagenänderung hat schon zur Überforderung geführt. Vorspeise falsch gebracht. Getränke vergessen. Hauptgerichte vergessen in die Küche weiterzugeben. 90 Minuten gewartet, dann wieder gegangen. Nicht zu empfehlen.

The service was nice. That's it for the positive. What a disaster shop. Arrived, got a reserved seat. Then we should still get out implement for unknown reasons. Order taken, one A simple change to the supplement was already too much and couldn't be done. Wrong appetizer brought, drinks forgotten. When after 90 minutes we still didn't have a main course and guests who came after us were happy we were eating, we took the liberty of asking. Result: the The order for the main course was forgotten to be passed on. Really without words. Then they left. This store sees us not again. Fortunately, there are plenty of other restaurants in Frankfurt. Even ones in which you what to eat. Unfortunately, 0 stars are not possible possible.

Very good home cooking in a cozy atmosphere! We had Frankfurter Schnitzel, liver & blood sausage with sauerkraut and venison goulash. Everything was extremely tasty and plentiful. Plus super tasty country beer. A perfect evening. You should reserve a table in advance.

I think it's a great, cozy restaurant with a great team! Everything there tasted really delicious! Alpine schnitzel is my favorite.

We were here with a large group of 8 people and had an (almost) perfect evening. Food: everyone enjoyed the food extremely well, the portions were really big so that even the hungriest among us were full. The knuckle was the most impressive, but the schnitzel, steak and spinach dumplings were also tasty and plentiful. Drinking: Good wine selection, unfortunately I've often had different experiences in traditional Frankfurt restaurants. Service: The service is particularly positive. Our sometimes confusing questions and special requests were responded to with a lot of humor and very good recommendations for wine and food, absolutely great! Location: very cozy atmosphere, many smaller corners ensure a quiet but relaxed atmosphere. Absolutely suitable for larger groups, but two or four people will also feel comfortable here. Other: one star deducted because unfortunately card payment is not possible. Dog friendly.

Very authentic place with super traditional food , good beer, and a nice atmosphere. Only minus is no option for card payment, so prepare the cash.

Gude. So the schnitzels are out of the good category. Spinach dumplings were also well received. The apple rings are delicious. The apricot dumplings from the daily menu were unfortunately “weak”. The Äppler also ran well in our ranks. Medlars are a must here. The service was very nice and attentive. There is a covered summer garden in the courtyard and places on the street. It's stupid that summer is over.

The ambience is rustic but chic, the food is good German. Personally, I don't like the fried potatoes. Service is terrible, the younger service staff are very helpful and service-oriented. The older lady is unfriendly and rude. When asked if you could get a cappuccino, the answer was people, we are an Äppelwein pub, what do you think?

Food is average at best, lots of convenience, there are much better apple wine taverns in Frankfurt. Service OK, not particularly attentive for us but not bad either. An order was taken incorrectly and no apology was given. You sit very nicely and in a good atmosphere. It was our first time there and we decided that evening that we wouldn't be coming back.

Wieder mal ein wundervoller Abend im Malepartus. Leckeres Essen , das Alpenschnitzel ist sehr emphelenswert. Typisches Apfelweinambiente mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre . Die Preise sind angemessen , insbesondere sind die Speisen üppig . Das Servicepersonal war wie immer sehr freundlich , herzlich und zaubert eine nette Stimming Wir fühlen uns immer sehr wohl und man muss nie lange warten . Alles top bis auf eine Kleinigkeit , die Temperatur im Hauptbereich war heute recht kühl.

Wir waren am 28.12.23 gegen 1700Uhr auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant fürs Abendessen.( 4 Personen)Bei einem kurzen Telefonat hieß es „ kommt rüber“ !!! Das Essen und die Gastfreundschaft waren absolut Klasse bei nicht überteuerten Preisen. Daumen hoch und weiter so. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt!

Essen und Getränke waren super. Leider hat es etwas lange gedauert und eine Vorspeise wurde zunächst vergessen. Außerdem keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Ambiente und Service sind sehr gut. Leider konnte das Essen nicht so richtig überzeugen. Das Schnitzel war nicht durch, stellenweise fast noch roh.

Ambiente typisch Frankfurter Lokal. Gepflegt. Reservierung per Telefon scheint nicht gern gesehen, man wird direkt auf die online- Reservierung verwiesen. Kartenzahlung nicht möglich! Leider wurden wir erst bei Rechnungsstellung darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Es ist dann sehr umständlich, wenn man einen Bankautomaten aufsuchen muss. Schade! Die Gans war lauwarm, zäh und trocken. Das Messer zum Schneiden stumpf. Leider wurden auch die Beilagen lauwarm bis kalt serviert. (Die Temperatur lässt sich auf den Fotos nicht veranschaulichen.) Der Riesling war gut. Die Bedienung von heut Abend rundete das Unwohlsein ab. Sehr bedauerlich, sind wir doch auf Empfehlung gekommen. Ich wünsche allen anderen Gästen, dass wir die Ausnahme von der Regel waren.

Typisch rustikales Restaurant mit typisch Frankfurter Gerichten. Kleinere Anzahl an Plätzen, sollte man bestimmt meistens reservieren. Waren in einer größeren Gruppe, haben alle gleichzeitig unser Essen bekommen, jeder war zufrieden. Sehr nettes Personal, kann man nur empfehlen. Und es hat jedem geschmeckt!

Auch wenn das Essen immer noch lecker ist - die Bedienung war augenscheinlich völlig überfordert, das Dessert wurde vergessen und die Lage unseres Tischs direkt an der Theke, an der man die Leute platzierte, die nicht reserviert hatten, eine Katastrophe! Viel zu eng und zu laut! Das geht gar nicht. Und die Tatsache, dass ich hier 2023 ausschließlich (sic!) bar zahlen kann, ist einfach nur kundenunfreundlich.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Alle Gerichte die wir (4 Personen) hatten waren einwandfrei. Wir kommen wieder.

Update: Immer noch sehr leckeres Essen, aber vergesslicher Service ( da reißt es die Mispelchen auf's Haus auch nicht raus) Und die Leute, die an der Theke stehen und sich einen Bembel nach dem anderen genehmigen, stören unheimlich beim essen an den Tischen daneben! ********** Super leckeres Essen (Frankfurter Vorspeisenplatte!), 2G-Regel konsequent beachtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wenn man bedenkt, das ich hier schon als Teenager in den 70ern war....☺

Richtig genervt hat die Tatsache, dass Menschen an der Bar standen und tranken, während wir 10cm gegenüber an unserem Tisch saßen und ständig Leute aus dem hinteren Gastraum durch den "Schlauch" zwischen uns und der Theke hindurch zum Rauchen draußen pendelten. Außerdem wurden Gäste ohne Reservierung auch noch an der Theke "geparkt". Ohne Vorbestellung in der Vorweihnachtszeit - die sollten nach meinem Dafürhalten weggeschickt werden. Das Essen war wie immer gut. Die ziemlich vorlaute Kellnerin hatte offensichtlich mein Dessert vergessen und die 30minütige Wartezeit auf die Küche geschoben... zum "Trost" gab es Mispelchen aufs Haus. Naja.

Das Essen war lecker und relativ günstig für Frankfurter Preise. Die Kellnerin war allerdings extrem unfreundlich, typisch deutsche unzufriedene Art. Kein Hallo, nur patzige Antworten. Außerdem wurde ein Essen vergessen. Ganz zum Schluss natürlich auch nur Barzahlung möglich. Willkommen Deutschland 1990.

Klassische Bernemer Küche und gemütliches Ambiente bei absolut gutem Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Wünsche dem Wirt viele Besucher. Moege das Juwel noch lange Gäste auch aus dem Taunus empfangen .

Kunden stören und werden gerne nicht beachtet. Leider ist das Essen gut, weshalb ich es immer wieder versuche. Der Service ist seit geraumer Zeit allerdings der reinste Horror, weshalb sich ein längeres Verweilen, nach heftigem ignorieren der Bedienungen, sehr schwer fallen lässt. War mal wesentlich besser, wird irgendwann vielleicht mal wieder?

Die Kellnerin war zurühaltend freundlich. Insgesamt war es recht kühl. Stimmung und Temperatur. Das Schnitzel war nicht so fluffig wie ich es erwartet hatte. Sonder die Panade war richtig am Schnitzel klebend. Den Bratkartoffeln fehlte es an Farbe. Noch während wir am bezahlen waren, wurde unser weitervergeben obwohl nicht viel los war....
