Delicious food, large portions, fair prices. The only minus: we had to wait 30 minutes for our order because a table in front of us had placed 11 orders. I would still go again

Best Schnitzel in Town, really!

The price/performance ratio is very good, with a focus on schnitzel! The portions are really big, but still tasty. The ambience is rustic, as you would expect. Definitely a recommendation if you want to eat Schnitzel with friends at Gallus.

Nice restaurant with XL portions, so if you're hungry you can eat very well here. But normal portions are also served. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the parking situation in the entire Gallus district is very difficult, but the restaurant can't do anything about it.

I can only highly recommend it; it's an experience! I have to go back.

Super large and delicious schnitzels at very reasonable prices, plus very friendly and attentive service. The ambience is really nice, with wonderful old car drawings and other nice accessories.

Super beautiful here! Food was very tasty (had Jägerschnitzel and baked Camembert) and the prices, especially for the portion sizes, were more than okay! The schnitzels come in three different portion sizes (1-3 schnitzels) and if you can't manage something, you can easily pack it up. Drinks menu is also very good and the service was very nice without being intrusive. The ambience is cozy and rustic, framed car prints hang on the walls and old tin toys are displayed in a display case and on the window sills. We definitely felt very comfortable!! Only recommended!

Best price-performance ratio! This restaurant is a real insider tip in the neighborhood! The schnitzels in particular are outstanding – perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and wonderfully juicy on the inside. The portions are generous and the side dishes go well with them. The service is always friendly and attentive. If you want to enjoy a good, traditional meal in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for schnitzel at a very reasonable price, this is the place to go! Unlike the typical Frankfurt apple wine place, this restaurant has a unique flair of its own, offering a cozy atmosphere. The schnitzel is pan-fried to crispy perfection. The portion sizes are generous. Nice.

Someone is on a business trip to Frankfurt to see an exhibition. This German restaurant is not far from the hotel. The beer is good.

There was a lot of bang for the buck there! Great taste and at affordable prices. Large schnitzel Viennese style consisted of 3 large (nicely thin) schnitzels and a good portion of fries for 18€. I really had to fight to get everything eaten. There was also salad. You can have leftovers packed up. The ambience wasn't anything special, but I personally can do without it. The food is much more important and that was great.

Luckily we made a reservation… The order was placed quickly and the drinks arrived quickly. It wasn't so easy to choose the right amount of schnitzel, but the farmer's schnitzel was perfect with onions, bacon and cheese. The waiting time was pleasant and the relaxed meal could begin. The only small disadvantage for me on this visit: the kitchen fumes also found their way into the dining room. I would love to go there again - delicious!

There are different sizes of the schnitzel and the food is really tasty. The food came quickly and the waiters are friendly. Can only be recommended, top!

Salad is served before the meal. I ate it after eating a salad and it was delicious overall. The paprika sauce was slightly spicy so I was able to eat it without getting sick of it. You can think of Jagerschnitzel as mushroom cream and it's still delicious. I don't remember one menu item, but it had mushrooms and cheese without fries, so it was reasonably salty and delicious even without sauce. The currywurst had a really delicious sauce and the sausage had a good flavor.

This restaurant really impressed us. The service was great and the quality and quantity of the food was excellent. All at a very fair price. We ended up here while looking for an affordable restaurant near our hotel. The food was good, the prices are ok too. However, you shouldn't take a large portion of schnitzel, because it's really a travel portion. I had the small portion and that was plenty.

Mega....newly discovered and totally thrilled. If I lived in Gallus, this would be my local pub. Very inconspicuous from the outside and nothing special from the inside. The charm of these restaurants comes from the service and the guests. Even in the small version, the dishes are so filling that I had to have the rest packed. I'll definitely come back here...

I enjoyed a cheeseburger here. A real beef burger. Two female employees were kind. Especially one with fluent English.

I stopped by Maximilians in Frankfurt for their wienerschnitzel recently. The schnitzel was nicely fried, the meat had a decent amount of flavour and the breading was thin and crispy. The salad was good as well: fresh salad with nice dressing. Overall, I’d give it 8.3/10

The second visit was unfortunately a disappointment as we were told 2 hours before closing that all the food was sold out. That sounds a lot like a pretext. It's a shame, we would have liked to have been a guest more often when we visited Frankfurt.

Great little restaurant in Frankfurt. They were closing at 10:00pm, allowed us to dine in at 9:15pm and stay nearly 20 minutes after closing. Very appreciative of that, food portions and quality were very good.

I have to say that I was skeptical at first! But the food (gourmet platter) was great. Portions plentiful and very tasty. My other colleagues had schnitzel and were also very happy. You could perhaps write down what you drank with a line on the beer mat then it would be easier to pay later. Food is definitely top!

Not a gourmet restaurant, more for hungry people. For me, the small portion (= 1 huge schnitzel) was completely sufficient. Friendly service. Even for our large group, the food came quickly one after the other.

Very tasty schnitzels and the salad as standard is also great. Crisp and fresh. A quick info, a small schnitzel is a normal portion. Normally it's twice as much. 😁 And the cocktail was very delicious even without decoration

Very tasty, tender and large schnitzels! You can choose between 1, 2 or 3 schnitzels - but you have to be very hungry. The salad is very fresh and delicious. Don't be fooled by appearances, just eat clean and full. Very friendly service.

Large portions and high quality - much better than other restaurants that advertise large portions. In addition to the obligatory Frankfurter Schnitzel, the Bauernschnitzel is particularly highly recommended.

Great economy that unfortunately doesn't exist too often anymore. Delicious food, a pleasantly manageable menu, reasonable prices and a cozy family atmosphere. I always enjoy going there for a beer and schnitzel.

Very quaint Frankfurt local. The schnitzels are super tasty and the portions are large enough to fill everyone up. The green sauce with potatoes and egg is also recommended.

Wahnsinns Schnitzel und großartige Bratkartoffeln. Wer gutbürgerliches Essen mag ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Essen kommt mit Beilagen Salat, das Dressing ist hausgemacht und exzellent. Das Ambiente passt zum Angebot, es ist rustikal gemütlich. Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich und zuverlässig. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Kartenzahlung ist möglich.

Sehr nettes, kleines Lokal. Zu stoßzeiten sollte man besser reservieren. Das Essen ist hervorragend, die Portionen sind groß, vom Preis aber sehr erschwinglich. Auch dir Angestellten dort sind nett und zuvorkommend. Wir waren gern dort und sollten wir noch einmal in Frankfurt sein, kommen wir gern wieder.

Ich hatte Schnitzel mit Pommes, es war sehr lecker und eine sehr gute Portion. Weiterzuempfehlen und gerne wieder!

Ein Kompliment an die Küche, dass Essen war einsame spitze. Ich habe bisher noch keine so leckere Currywurst gegessen. Pommes waren auch wunderbar. Die Lokalität an sich könnte vielleicht etwas heller gestaltet werden. Durch einen frischen Anstrich oder durch neuere LED leuchten. Durch die offene Gestaltung war es leider auch sehr laut. Dennoch würde ich hier nochmals essen kommen. Kleiner Tipp: Reserviert euch nen Tisch 😉

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Portionen riesig und die Preise dafür top. Die Pfeffersoße zum Schnitzel hat eine deutliche und ausgewogene (Pfeffer-)Schärfe, lecker! Haben draußen gesessen, das sitzt man sehr schön. Drinnen ist das Ambiente wie man es aus einer alten deutschen Gaststätte kennt, also noch Luft nach oben. Bedienung sehr freundlich, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder!

Da uns der Hunger auf der Arbeit plagte, habe wir Heute das erstmal hier bestellt. Der Service war super freundlich und das Essen war einzeln verpackt das auch nicht mit der Soße voll saugen konnte. Geschmacklich sehr lecker und für die Größe Preislich der Hammer. Wir werden hier öfter bestellen.

Sehr rustikales Restaurant mit deutschem Essen. Wer sehr großen Hunger hat, ist ja gut aufgehoben, alle anderen eher nicht. Eine kleine Speisekarte mit deutschen Gerichten. Ich erhielt ein sehr großen Teller mit Pommes, die noch länger hätten frittiert werden können, darauf ein sehr großes Cordon bleu Schnitzel. Beides war jetzt kein Highlight für mich, der Beilagen Salat mit Balsamico Essig war vor 15 Jahren auch mal modern. Ich würde hier nicht wieder essen gehen. Es gab nur eine Angestellte und es war ziemlich stressig hier im Restaurant. Ich finde es auch bedauerlich, dass ich mehr als die Hälfte stehen gelassen habe, insgesamt können die Gerichte etwas preiswerter und damit etwas kleiner zubereitet werden.

Das Essen hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Es ist wirklich lecker. Es war eine Mahlzeit mit vielen Zutaten. Viel Glück mit deiner Arbeit. Der Kellner war sehr nett 25.09.2023

Absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant der ganzen Belegschaft. Riesen Portionen und immer seeehr lecker. Wir haben uns schon durch die ganze Speisekarte durchprobiert von Schnitzel, Burger, Currywurst und Salat war wirklich alles super! Kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Schade nur, dass keine Lieferung mehr angeboten wird, daher gibt´s das Essen nur noch zu besonderen Anlässen (leider) :(

This was our penultimate day in Frakfurt- so we wanted to try one last German meal. I ordered the turkey escalope paprika and it was phenomenal. The turkey was perfectly fried, and the pepper sauce was a little spicy and full of pepper flavor. The fries were perfectly cooked and complemented the turkey wonderfully. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner if you are in the area.

La atención fue excelente por parte de las meseras, muy atentas y amables, las bebidas deliciosas, bien frías, la comida muy rica, los platos son bastos, así que pueden pedir para dos personas, o una si son de buen comer, los precios muy razonables, en promedio 20€ por persona y quedas agusto. El lugar muy tranquilo, ambiente relajado, comes sin prisa y disfrutas de la terraza al aire libre en pleno ajetreo de la Ciudad. Muy recomendable.
