Leuk behoorlijk groot restaurant in het centrum van Passau. Prima klassieke gerechten zoals Tafelspitz en Kaiserschnarren. Daarnaast ook goede cocktals en zeer vriendelijke en vlotte bediening.

The Forsthaus Thiemsburg is located in the middle of the Hainich National Park in the immediate vicinity of the treetop path. We went there for Easter brunch on Easter Sunday. We had reserved a table for 13 people. The room where we sat was full. The decoration of the room was okay, the food was set up as a buffet in a side room. The selection of dishes was manageable, but in my opinion there could have been a little more. In terms of taste, it was okay with room for improvement, unfortunately I can't say anything about the price, we were invited.

Solid cider pub with a classic and manageable menu, stylish ambience and fair prices. The operation can sometimes take a long time.

The reception from the service was very pleasant and the efforts were also made to ensure a quick process (ordering drinks and food until it was served). But we kept trying, but unfortunately it didn't work. The drinks were at the table quite quickly, the food took (50 minutes) although different dishes (kidneys, veal cheeks) but the taste was the same sauce everywhere, slightly burnt. Was our first visit, let's see if there is another one?

How nice that this location has come back to life. Thanks to an ambitious new operator and a customer-friendly concept. We wanted to try the lunch buffet today. We chose between soup or salad, had various main courses to choose from and then had dessert. All of this is super tasty, excellently seasoned and under €10. Unbeatable! But a la carte is also worth it. We'll definitely be back. Very soon. With friends, neighbors and family!

We've been there four times now and unfortunately we have complaints every time we visit. We rate the brewery and ice cream parlor together, they seem to cooperate. On our first visit we went to the brewery, it wasn't busy but we still had to wait a long time until the waiter served us. Unfortunately the order arrived incorrectly. The second time we were there to eat waffles, the dough was empty. On the third visit with 5 guests, our waiter drank pinnchen and schnapps at the neighboring table. After that he forgot our drinks. The fourth visit was definitely the last. We ordered cocktails and waffles. After 15 minutes of waiting, the waiter came to inform us that the waffle batter was empty and that no additional cocktails could be offered because the machine was broken. Clearly not a recommendation from us
