Unfortunately the food was nothing special. I was able to cook the rigatoni that way myself. In all my experience with Italian cuisine, I have never experienced putting a boiled egg in slices under the cheese for gratinating. I don't think I will eat here again.

It's just a nice restaurant with lots of retro charm. And that's not meant negatively, but positively. It's not a fancy Italian but an Italian like in the 80s. Simply good and original food at reasonable prices also good aperitifs. And the waiter Amadeo is an institution. It is also child-friendly. A big highlight: The New Year's Eve menu is highly recommended, varied and sumptuous. There are also good seasonal offerings such as porcini mushrooms, pumpkin, various cheeses...

I ate my best pizza I've ever had here and I've eaten a lot of pizzas. We will definitely go back to Balve from Düsseldorf and eat pizza here again. Thank you. Addendum October 27, 2025: We were at “da Piccolo” again today, the fourth time this year. As always, it was very tasty. Pizza, wine and service are simply top notch. An absolute insider tip for lovers of Italian cuisine! The Mozzarella pizza was just perfect – thin, crispy base, fresh mozzarella and a wonderfully aromatic tomato sauce. The beef lasagna was also a delight – juicy, hearty and gratinated with just the right amount of cheese. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!”

Since the Punto DiVino was opposite my hotel, I ate there yesterday. The restaurant exudes a dignified, cozy atmosphere and you immediately feel a little like you are in Italy. The menu is small but fine and offers a selection of typical Italian antipasti, pasta, main courses and desserts so there is something for every taste. The food itself is of top quality and taste and at reasonable prices for Munich.

The pizza is really good. I recommend to have the “Profumo do bosco”, my favorite pier.
