Over an hour for the food. Fried potatoes are not fried potatoes, so please do not offer them as such. Salad tasted totally like vinegar. And a very large plate but rather little food. Even the casserole he ordered was so little that my child was hungry at home. This baking dish was really very small. The place itself is rather dirty, there are cobwebs everywhere and it sticks everywhere. I wouldn't spend that much money again on the food I ordered.

I have known the Marktschänke for 40 years. This was my first time with the current operators. When the weather was nice, we were given a place outside and were greeted and served quickly and in a very friendly manner The pizza was served quickly and hot, taste was very good. The restaurant was very busy inside and outside, and the young waitress handled this very confidently and in a super friendly manner. Great service, thank you very much 👍🏼.

Great service! We ordered pizza to pick up and unfortunately we had to wait a little longer at the pick up time because some larger orders had come in beforehand which took more time. While we waited we got drinks and a large bottle of cola for free with our order. They apologized several times, even though we really didn't have to wait long. The food was very tasty and the price was absolutely right. We would love to come back!

Honestly. I'm disappointed. No steaks because no more meat, OK, that can happen. Online menu 5 years out of date. Apparently no access to it anymore, hmmmmm. The problem can be solved quickly, I think. 3 small pork medallions + fried potatoes for 20.00. Already very expensive. The fried potatoes are just sliced ​​potatoes that are thrown into a deep fryer. So basically fries in slices. No bacon or onions or spices or anything. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. 👎

After our day trips we stopped at the Markschänke...good food...friendly hospitality...nice atmosphere...we were also lucky because the Rahden band "The New Foggy Few" played their Irish songs on a Thursday evening ...WE look forward to our next visit with YOU!!! We were passing through and came here through Google! I haven't eaten such a delicious Vegetariana pizza for a long time! The onion soup and spagetti carbonara are also recommended. The ambience is beautiful old furniture, matching the old half-timbered house. The owner is very nice and the service is very good! If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop there!

Yesterday evening we went to the market cabinets spontaneously with friends for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The service, no matter who you came into contact with, is incredibly attentive and friendly. The food, we had pasta, pizza and steak, was also very tasty and sufficient. The highlight for my husband and I, however, was that there was Guinness on tap. Strong!!!! The ambience is rustic, but you wouldn't expect anything else in such a historic building. But with a small fresh flower on the table, the world looks much more beautiful and that was there. In short: a must for everyone.

Urgemütlich und man fühlt sich bei Gast zu Freunden! Dazu sehr leckeres Essen in richtig guter Qualität zum fairen Preis. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder und können die schöne Marktschänke absolut weiter empfehlen!

Essen leider überteuert. Steak waren durch durch und damit zäh wie Leder. Tiramisu relativ klar aus der Packung. Soßen, Kräuterbutter und Beilagen gut. Allerdings war das Ambiente leider nicht optimal. Alles sehr eng und somit wenig Privatsphäre zum Unterhalten. Bedienung aber super nett und das Essen bekam man schnell.

Wir wurden positiv überrascht. Die Bedienung freundlich und schnell. Unsere hausgemachte Pizza mit frischen Zutaten war sehr schmackhaft. Obwohl wir nur kurz zum Abendessen bleiben wollten, waren es dann doch fast 3 Stunden. Preise sind völlig okay. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Ambiente und die Bedienung waren schön/etwas Rustikal und höflich. Das Essen war recht gut, ein zwei recht einfache Sachen wie Bratkartoffeln zb. Werden dort aber lieber als Fertigprodukt angeboten was sehr schade ist. Denn der Koch hat wirklich Potenzial, wenn man dann noch auch bei kleineren Sachen lieber selbst den Kochlöffel schwingt, dann wäre ich schon Stammgast. Dennoch hat alles andere super geschmeckt und war auch wirklich selbstgemacht 😊 ich würde wieder kommen
