Ambience is nice and appealing. But the food isn't that good. There is still room for improvement, the ambience and performance go together.

There was only a problem with the toilets, papers piled up in the trash, papers on the floor inside the toilets. It needs to be looked after a bit.

I had Wilma's meatballs and they were delicious. Nice place and very attentive and friendly staff.

Service and ambience was good. Breakfast wasn't good value for the high price. The hotel breakfast would be much better!

Wilma (only) miracle(s) We were at the Wilmar Wunder with our three children on Sunday evening. The restaurant has a nice interior and the service we had was also nice. Unfortunately that was it for the positive. When we arrived the place wasn't even half full. (This is just mentioned because it is not important for later) The table (kitchen in sight) was already dirty, but we still had good hope that it could only get better. Unfortunately, the inside of the beer glass was dirty with 3 dark, indefinable spots where the carbon dioxide was bubbling nicely. The top of the glass was also chipped. Complained and exchanged. We ordered a starter, two children's schnitzels, one tarte flambée, one broccoli from the daily menu, and the Wilmar Wunder meatballs The starter was delivered together with the other dishes. The broccoli was completely forgotten. Food is always a matter of taste and we can only say that we haven't eaten as badly as we did here in a long time. The Wilmar Wunder meat planters are described on the menu as follows: "... because the word meat planter comes from the ancient word meat pan tents. Flat cakes were called "tents"..." Aha Well, the flat cakes were three small minced meat balls (walnut size) like the ones from the big Swedish furniture store with a little sauce, potato salad from the bucket and a small side salad for 14.90 euros. I mean, if it had at least been good, but that's pretty cheeky. But tastes are different and I don't want to go into that any further. BUT what I have zero understanding of: The hatch from the kitchen to the dining room was really DISGUSTING when we got to the restaurant. The entire time, neither the waitress nor the kitchen staff even managed to wipe this area with a cloth at least once. Each finished dish was placed back into this mixture of sauce, crumbs, leftover food, etc. A garbage bag was left in the middle of the path to the entrance to the kitchen the entire time we were there. Dear people, if there isn't that much going on, then can I at least pay attention to hygiene and cleanliness? It is a kitchen where food is processed. Hello?! Our little one has been throwing up for an hour and I have a stomach ache. But how did the local comment so beautifully on a 2-month-old recession: "As far as the stomach pain described, we regret that two people from your group were affected. Since such complaints can have various causes, it is unfortunately not possible for us to establish a direct connection." YES, all clear! 😉 Once and never again, that would actually be a case for the health department!

Great! I recommend the frikadeller. The cake dessert with chocolate chips and ice cream...delicious! The service very good

Were really disappointed today. I knew Wilma from last year and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately today at 2 p.m. it was disappointing. We came in and the service person first made a private voice recording on the cell phone instead of saying hello to us. Nothing was swept up on the floor around the tables. Avocado leftovers and crumbs all around. The breakfast guests probably didn't manage to pick up a broom until 2 p.m. There really wasn't much going on anymore but there were 3 wait staff standing around at the bar. The pasta with vegan chicken was just a cruel finished product and the goat cheese with beetroot and avocado was simply unloving. Price and performance not justified. It's a shame what a difference a year can make. There is better in Passau

Waitress was completely uninterested and then we were allowed to have a cold glass! Done - pay €2.50 for vanilla sauce! Never again

We are regular customers because the food and breakfast is fantastic there. It goes quickly and is of top quality. Unfortunately I have to say the lady who hosted us today was difficult to deal with. We arrived, sat down, the lady gave us the feeling "damn why do you have to sit there" which was very sobering. I'm a restaurateur myself and am therefore very understanding, but her appearance was not well looked after, dirty nails, dirty clothes. We ordered and unfortunately 3 things went missing, there was no apology but was waved away. We had to wait a long time to take further orders and no one asked if everything was OK. The food is really great. We always enjoy eating there, but in the future we will see who is serving us and if necessary change the station

First of all, the restaurant is really beautifully and stylishly furnished, but there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to the selection and quality of the food. The food was almost cold, the staff seemed rather cold, so it could be better.

It was great there, the food was great, something different, the service and the reception at the entrance was also very friendly. The Wilma Unicorn cocktail had a lot of vodka in it 😜 definitely worth a visit, even without a reservation you can get a seat The only thing about the side salad was that there wasn't enough dressing for me personally

Nice restaurant right in the pedestrian zone! Super nice service. We had breakfast here once and once Lunch. Unfortunately the food was ok, nothing more. The salad was served to us without dressing and when we asked we were given a dressing. At first everything seems better than it really is.

Veggie, Vegan or Omni everyone will find something delicious to eat here. The breakfast menu looks very good and varied. I only got there at lunchtime and ordered napkin dumplings in the oven with dried tomatoes, light cream sauce and a fried egg on top. The food is really tasty and beautifully presented. I would love to come here again.

Great place for young and old, very nice atmosphere and very nice Staff. Unfortunately the toilets leave At least for men, it leaves something to be desired, partly defective and unfortunately not clean.

Was in this restaurant for the first time today and can't recommend it! Service was very friendly, but the food was catastrophic!!!

Very nice decor, unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the food. The Ziegenpeter tarte flambée only had 3 pieces of goat cheese and unfortunately the milk from the hot chocolate wasn't really hot enough. Unfortunately, the service was a bit sloppy, but that's probably due to the size.

Wilma Wunder has a lot of room for improvement in the Passau kitchen, which is a shame because the service is attentive and very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy.

Just had breakfast in Wilma Wunder Passau on January 5th for my birthday. We were served very nicely by all the waitresses. Everyone was super attentive and responded to our wishes. The bartender also conjured up beautiful cappuccinos for us with a beautiful milk foam pattern. Definitely coming back! Thank you for the lovely stay.

We recently went to Wilma Wunder and had a drink there. It's a very nice restaurant and our service person was really friendly. There is a small deduction because the space in the corner by the window/door was quite drafty.

Just terrible. We ate veal schnitzel, which was inedible and tasted like it had been fried in old oil. The napkin dumplings were cold and totally oversalted and the sauce was an indefinable cream mush. The prices are absolutely overpriced, especially for what was offered. Two of our group struggled with nausea and stomach pain. It's a shame because the location itself is very nice. But eat there: Never Ever!

Unfortunately, the menu is a bit too expensive for the dishes on offer. Although we personally reserved a spot for the evening in the afternoon, suddenly there were no tables left. We were then told to sit at the bar with the 6-year-old, even though tables became available shortly. The somewhat incompetent waiter could only be motivated with good persuasion. Service and food did not meet the required price level. Too bad. Ambiance was appealing.

Nice restaurant, but understaffed or overwhelmed. Visit on December 23rd. The place was lively but not overcrowded, around 50-60% of the tables were occupied. However, we were warned straight away that eating would take 45 minutes. We ordered soup of the day 3 times. 50 minutes after ordering we were informed that the dish we ordered was no longer available. Another soup was offered, which was then served after another 15 minutes. Nicely prepared but bland.

The food (holiday menu with duck) was cold; Unfortunately, there was also a side dish of meat from the salad. The service seemed overloaded and uninformed. A vegan salad had leftover non-vegan cheese (!!), which was only partially removed after a complaint. (!) Never again.

We were very disappointed by the spirits offer. Four clear schnapps and a vodka and a homemade eggnog. Not enough for me!!!!!

We were indoors with our two dogs and received a warm welcome. Cappuccino was excellent and we enjoyed breakfast very much. We will be happy to come back.

Six months later, I'm still disappointed with the Passau branch of "Wilma Wunder" - in the meantime I was back at "Wilma" Hannover, where ONE waitress cleaned up the huge location including the outdoor seating area in a reasonable amount of time. In Passau, on the other hand: three waitresses who didn't have much to do and still ignored me and my neighboring tables very professionally. I ACTUALLY wanted to eat there because the cuisine, at least in Hanover, is brilliant - but it ended up being just a hot drink. I don't know yet whether I'll give the local "Wilma Wunder" another chance on my next assignment in Passau. As a former catering worker (waiter, cook, counter man) and trainer for HoGa staff, I may be too demanding and maybe I just had a bad moment... but what was organized there is not possible at all.

What else can you say about 5 stars in all categories. It was and is always beautiful there

Last week we had breakfast there - I think Euro 15.90.-. The salmon breakfast. A total of 2 slices of smoked salmon were served with 4 slices of bread. The freshly grated horseradish was 100% from the jar and the jar had been open for a long time. Horseradish largely without taste and completely without heat. Then try the salad with goat cheese. It was once served with 2 slices of goat cheese. Now only one, but much thinner. Am I unlucky or has this really become the norm here?

Incredibly stylish furnishings. From British subway tiles to old building floor tiles, very impressive. One of the few restaurants where you can still find warm food in the old town after 9 p.m. Large portions, great taste. Super friendly waiters! Gladly again!

I visited Wilma Wunder for lunch while on shore in Passau during my Viking River Cruise on the Danube. I had never eaten blaukraut before; it was served as a side dish with the schnitzel I ordered. OMG! What a treat! I was amazed at the flavors presented in Wilma Wunder's version of this iconic German dish! I tasted cloves and delicate vinegar flavors that made this version unique! I proceeded to order blaukraut several times during the remainder of my visit to Germany, but none of them were as good as Wilma's version. You absolutely have to try it!

I ordered schnitzel Viennese style and specifically mentioned “pork” I then received an inedible veal schnitzel. I didn't touch most of the plate. I didn't get the difference of €10 back even though the waitress admitted the mistake and there was no compensation or apology for the bad meat either!! An impudence. Would recommend this restaurant and this waitress to anyone. November 13, 2024

I find the location really cozy and beautiful. However, it depends on which operators are currently on duty. Sometimes you sit for up to half an hour until you are seen or get your order. I think it's a real shame, it performed much better right after the opening

We were here before in August 2024. We really enjoyed the tarte flambée. The service was very nice and quick. During our visit on Tue September 15th, 2024 we were disappointed 😞 Thanks to the chaos at the DB, we had a 12-hour journey from Hanover. We were very tired and hungry and would have been happy with a delicious tarte flambée. We arrived shortly before 9:30 p.m., the waitress appeared at our table at 9:40 p.m. and explained that the kitchen is only open until 9:30 p.m. When we asked in the kitchen and we explained the situation, the cellar recommended cake. He didn't even ask. When we asked if he could give us some advice on where we could eat something else. We got the answer, probably not in Passau. Really sad 😢 We understand that at some point it will be the end of the working day and times must be adhered to. But we wished he had been at least a little friendlier

Great location in the middle of Passau's pedestrian zone. Good food, great atmosphere inside and out. Sometimes very stressed staff, even if it is manageable. Prices are still in the green. But the food and cocktails make up for it. Good regional food just costs money.

Excellent eatery! We were here today for a very extensive brunch and everything was delicious, the service was friendly and accommodating and in the end it was also really pleasantly priced. Super!

I sat outside for a full 20 minutes this evening without a waitress coming to my table. Other tables were served. The neighboring table had not been cleared.

Leuk behoorlijk groot restaurant in het centrum van Passau. Prima klassieke gerechten zoals Tafelspitz en Kaiserschnarren. Daarnaast ook goede cocktals en zeer vriendelijke en vlotte bediening.

A special kind of café. Great, varied menu with unusual dishes and drinks. Had 2 very tasty breakfasts there, at still acceptable prices. Full recommendation!

Unfortunately, the food consisted of nothing but convenience products that were mixed together or warmed up. The cheese sauce in the casserole with Schupfnudeln tasted extremely artificial, like soup powder. Clearly too expensive for €15.90. The food was generally at canteen level. It's a shame, because the service staff was fine. I wouldn't eat here again. What I also want to mention is that after paying you are “encouraged” to give a “positive review” in exchange for a free liqueur. Is that where the many positive reviews come from?

We went to Wilma Wunder in Passau for coffee and cake on a Saturday. The restaurant was very busy, which is why we had to wait quite a long time. Despite the crowds, the service was friendly and attentive. The pancake with berry dream was okay, but nothing special. Overall, a pleasant stay if you have some time.

A novelty in the city, a large and nice place, but ultimately impersonal like all the places replicated in photocopies in different cities. Good cocktail list, but to have an appetizer to accompany it must be ordered separately. In the average price of 9 euros a couple of peanuts and 2 chips could also fit.... I returned this evening, this time for dinner. The impression on the restaurant remains the same, original and tidy, presence of tables even on the pedestrian street. Complete disappointment with the food, it looks like pre-cooked, frozen or canned food! Cold and undercooked Fleischpflanzer, Wiener Schnitzel fried with old oil and burnt, nightmare Kaiserschmarrn: but can you present a dish in a hot pan and the food just hot on the outside and semi-frozen on the inside? Raspberry sauce at various temperatures, practically a supermarket product. I give an extra star for the service because, at least, the waitress didn't make us pay for the dessert. Too bad, a great space lost in the city.

The food and the ambience were very good. The service was good. Wilmaa meatballs and the ham spaetzle tasted very good. You can come back to this place.

Beef roulades at 24,- and then comes a small roulade (which tastes like frozen food). When I asked for a second one they charged 10 euros

Everything just fits there. Very friendly and familiar. Bikers are welcome. In addition to the very good food, vegetarians are also pampered and a rich breakfast buffet also ensures their well-being. Comfortable beds, everything very clean. There is even a sauna and a swimming pool in the hotel. We'll definitely be back.
